Happy 2016!! π You should have arrived here along this fun hop from the fabulously sweet and talented, Julie Dinn’s blog. You can also start back at the beginning via Lawn Fawn here!
Thank you for joining the Seasons Givings Blog Hop! What good company!
We are all hopping today as a way of saying Thank You for joining us on our blogging adventures. Speaking for myself, it takes time to keep up with my blog, and I appreciate when someone enjoys it and even leaves a comment saying so. It’s nice to know it’s not an echo chamber, you know?! π So I’m sharing a few cards I’ve made and of course, having a giveaway!
This first card is a fun combo of some My Favorite Things Hexagon STAX goodness and some Paper Smooches BEE die fun. Bee You! πAck! Love this cute little Bee! π
These next two cards, feature the Lawn Fawn stamp set, “Turn Me On”. Ack. So cute. The fun patterned papers and Say Cheese (Polaroid) die are also Lawn Fawn. π Eeek! Cute!
As I was stamping the light bulb for my card, my paper got turned upside down, and well, I had a light bulb moment! Haaaaa! Pun in a pun. Geesh. Anyway, I thought the light bulb looked a lot like a holiday ornament upside down, so hence my second card. πThe Stitched tag die cuts are My Favorite Things. A staple set! π
Here is the goody goods I am sharing to one person who comments on this post by Tuesday, January 8th. To qualify, I thought it would be fun if you could answer all or any one of the following: (My giveaway is only valid for shipping within the USA. π )
- Your favorite brand of ink and why it is your favorite. Dye ink? Pigment?
- A favorite project of yours you’ve created in 2015. (Try to include a link so I can oooo and ahhhh too!) π
- Do you do more stamping, die cutting, 50/50, or something else entirely?
(P.S. I’m in the middle of a HUGE overhaul, so I will be adding more goodies!! As much as the envelope will hold!!)
Thank you again for hopping here today and for all your kindness along the way! If you’re here for the first time, and want to see a great summation of My 2015, check out my MFT post from yesterday HERE. It’s long, but has lots of love and pretty pictures. π

Take care and HOP ON!
Jill π
Please continue to the next stop on the hop: Christiana Reulling’s blog! Sure to be some more fun there! π Below is the full list, in case you lose your way! π
Cute cards. I like Versafine onyx black for sentiments, Memento black for copic coloring, Ranger Archival black for watercoloring and my colors are a mix of Stampin Up and Memento dye inks. I am mainly a stamper but use a lot of die cutting on my cards too.
slrdowney at hotmail dot com
My favorite brand of ink is Memento and Memento Luxe!! LOVE TH Distress also!
I am mainly a die cutter but do lots of stamping also! Depends on my mood at the time! My favorite creation from 2015 is this one: https://www.instagram.com/p/9tvTwRLgub/?taken-by=meemawof3 I made this for my son as a housewarming gift!
Happy New Year!
I love your cards and am a new follower. I will be looking forward to your inspiration in 2016. I like to use versafine ink for a crisp stamping. I use dies a lot but always stamp with them.

Your cards are soooo cute!! The upside down lightbulbs DO make perfect ornaments. Way to think outside the box!! I definitely prefer dye inks; I’m messy so the ink needs to dry fast or I’ll end up sticking my hand in it or something. : ) I love both stamping and die cutting, but probably use more die cuts on my cards since you can easily use more than one, while one stamped image is usually enough. And here is a link to one of my favorite cards this year:

Thanks for the chance to win!
Delightful cards! Love them all! Happy to have found your blog and am having fun taking a look around!
My favorite ink is Distress! Love the colors it comes in and I have quite a few of them! I also love Memento inks, and use them when coloring with Copic markers.
Happy New Year!!
I certainly do love me some Memento Tuxedo Black ink! Such a nice/dark black, stamps good, and you can color afterwards.
Awesome prize giveaway! Thanks so much for the chance to win! Happy new year⦠God bless!
I love distress inks because they are so versatile and I would be lost without my Memento tuxedo black ink.
Wish you a great 2016. All your cards are really cute!
I love Tim Holtz Distress inks.
My favorite project in 2015 was with a DIY stamp. The link is here: http://nanspaintpaperscissors.blogspot.in/2015/09/a-diy-stamp.html
I do more of die cutting than stamping. Though I am trying to change that in 2016.
I think Colorbox is my favorite go to in, I do more stamping than die cutting, but am a big fan of the matching sets! I didn’t make as many cards as I would like but here is one that I like.

Happy New year.
I do more die cutting now that I won a Spellbinders Grand Caliber in December of 2013. I still do stamping too and try water coloring some too. That’s what is so much fun in paper crafts there’s always something new popping up to try. Thanks for being in the hop.
Great cards! Have a Happy New Year.
I use Stampin up, Stazon and Tim Holtz inks. I do more stamping but adore my Cricut Explorer!
Such fun cards! And I love the idea of turning those lightbulbs upside down to make ornaments! Genius! My favorite project of the year is here:http://carriescustomcards.blogspot.com/2015/11/dt-post-for-outlawz-twisted-thursday.html I do a lot of die cutting and digi stamping, but I also have my share of rubber and clear stamps I break out, also! I especially like stamps that have dies that coordinate with them.
Thanks so much for offering a great prize package on this fun blog hop!
Your projects are adorable and your gift pack fab (yay MFT!)! LOVE the title of your blog!!
1. Memento dye for stamping so I can color with Copics (I also love Tsukenido Brilliance for the shine!)
2. One of my favs was this anniversary card – oh, how they laughed!: https://dannscraftingwhims.wordpress.com/2015/10/08/the-princess-bird-anniversary-card/
3. I’d say maybe a smidge more stamping because sometimes I do CAS stamped cards, but it’s a close call.
Terrific cards.I use distress inks a lot. I stamp and die cut usually.
My favorite ink changes a lot – I like the distress inks because they are so versatile, but I also love VersaFine onyx black because it is so crisp.
I do 70/30 stamping and dies – I’m trying to use more dies (I have them, just don’t always reach for them as fast).
I don’t have a great link to any of my projects – getting my blog a little usable is on this year’s to do list
Thanks for sharing those adorable cards!
To be honest, I like Versamark the best because I can sprinkle whatever embossing powder I want on top for heat embossing. I enjoy stamping, but I like die-cutting better because the results are always the same!
Thanks for offering the prize and all the best in 2016!
This year I did more Stamping! Thanks for being part of the hop!
Love your style and sense of humor!
1) I use mainly Imagine Crafts by Tsukineko, just made their DT π
2) Even though it is a Sympathy card, this is one of my favorites http://snippetscrafter.blogspot.com/2015/02/butterfly-sympathy-card.html
3) I need to get back to more scrapbooking!
Love the cards especially the bee one so cute! My favorite ink so far is distressed just because I can blend and watercolor with it. Still getting my feet wet (new papercrafter here) with some Stampin Up ink (Dye), Brutus Monroe (chalk), and Simon Says Stamp dye inks too.
My favorite project of 2015 was making a “Thank You” card set with my daughter for her teacher picture in the link: https://www.flickr.com/photos/11800630@N02/23229041294/in/album-72157654154280943/
50/50 with stamping and die cutting love them both.
Thanks for the chance to win!
I like using the versafine inks.
So…love all of your cards but genius what you did with the bulbs. I’ve been trying hard to see things in other things this year. Change my perspective….my favorite project in 2015 of my own was this one I think. http://bzscrapper66.blogspot.com/2015/11/mini-me.html Thanks for being a part of this hop and happy new year!
I am so going to miss you and the rest of the MFT challenge team. I play there most weeks and have so admired your work.
My favorite inks are distress inks, as I am a technique girl. I am so proud of being chosen as the Swanky Stamper at The Cat’s Pajamas (TCP) and went from just having a flickr account to a blog and creating 11 cards in 10 days. My first blog post was for TCP’s new release in Nov. 2015. If you want to look I would be honored as I have only been blogging for 2 months. I also just found out today that my tag was chosen by Tim Holtz for his Dec. 12 tags! My blog is Super Stick Chick (not sure how to link it – I am really new to all of this.
Thanks again for your inspiring work and I’m looking forward to seeing what you will be creating in 2016.
My favorite ink is Memento. I love that it is copic proof. I want to try versafine. I have inks coming from brutusmonroe.com that I am super excited to try. Love, love, love your cards!
I use dies on about 75% of the cards I use,
You posted some VERY CUTE cards!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for participating in this FANTASTIC blog hop. Looking forward to your postings in 2016!
Happy New Year!
Good cards. I am a new stamper, beginning about 4 months ago, so don’t know if I have a favorite ink – haven’t tried them all!. My favorite project was a masculine birthday card with the front featuring a paper crafted shirt, with an origami bow tie and button embellishments. So far I’ve been trying a bit of everything, so can’t identify what I do most – but almost everything has some stamping element.
Your cards are adorable! I love Tim Holtz ink and I always go back to the lucsious beauty inks from close to my heart. My favorite project for 2015… It started out a December Daily, then I found out that one of my coworkers granddaughter was returning to her momma….so I made a delicious book of them celebrating them and their grandbaby! Such a graceful, loving family….momma is in the military, and was gone for 19 months!
Definitely my Silhouette Cameo!!!!
happy new year. I love that everyone is participating and being so generous. thanks.
Thanks for such a great giveaway. I am fairly new to scrappin’ and I like Ranger Inks-great color ranges. 2016 is the year for a die cutting machine and I know I’ll be a die cutter & coloring fool!
I love dye ink – hero arts, simon says stamp.
I don’t have a favorite ink, yet! I probably do more stamping than die-cutting, but I expect that to change as I learn to use my machine better, and my favorite projects this year involved doing watercolor backgrounds and some clear stickers with black designs: flowers, swirls, flourishes, fancy corners, and some large paisley designs. It was fun to find just the right one to go with the patterns in the paint! I would upload them, but I gave the set away as a Christmas present, and I don’t know how to do anything much on the computer. I love your work, these are so much fun! Thank you.
Such a generous giveaway. My fav ink is distress inks and I love die cutting more than stamping. Here is a link to a fav project : http://cardsandschoolprojects.blogspot.in/2015/07/spinning-pop-up-card.html
My favorite ink brand is the new MFT ink. It’s just so crisp and vibrant. Whatever they did, it’s amazing! Happy New year!
I love how you turned the light bulb into Christmas ornaments! Too cute! My favorite inks would be Distress Inks, love how the blend and react to water. I do more stamping, even though I am addicted to dies! Here is a link to one of my fav cards this year .http://createdbykrisb.blogspot.com/2015/11/happy-anniversary-heart-banner.html
I am new to card making and stamping but have been reading a ton during the year. I am moving from needle arts and stained glass into a completely different direction and like what I have seen to date.
My favorite ink is pigment ink as I like to emboss a lot. I tend to buy Colorbox (but Versafine for black) but I’ve been adding Tim Holtz Distress inks to my collection, too. I think I tend to paper piece more than anything, but I love stamping (but so far, only color with pencils). Thank you so much for your generous giveaway and Happy New Year! rebyah1@gmail.com
Great website. Favorite inks are Stampin up and Memento. Nice prizes. Thanks for chance to win.
I do other kinds of paper crafts (origami, quilling, kirigami…) but would like to learn die-cutting. Thank you so much for your blog and this giveaway. God bless! ILuvTheEucharist (at) aol.com
Inks-I like Papertrey and Hero Arts, great color options. I probably stamp and die cut 50/50.
I’m definitely a mix of stamping and die cutting, some coloring too.
I do more stamping right now! Thanks for a chance to win!
I make cards and scrapbook. I just got a Big Kick machine for Christmas so I’m really looking forward to die cutting my right now I mostly stamp. My favorite inks so far are from Stampin Up. Thank you for the opportunity to win such great goodies. Happy New Year!
I like to use both stamps
and dies. Especially
those made to work
together! Thanks for
your giveaway.
Carla from Utah
I am a stamper but have recently gotten Ito die cutting. Love stamp /die sets. For 2016, I am going to try to use my Cricut more. This blog hop is great!! I’ve been introduced to many new blogs, products and websites. Thank you.
Cute little hexagon bee card… so sweet.
My favorite ink at the moment is Close to My Heart Dye ink… Probably because that is what I’ve used the most often.
I have just recently begun crafting again after a few years off due to work and family obligations.
Currently I do more stamping and fussy cutting but am falling in love with all the dies that I am discovering on the market thanks to the wonderful crafty women such as yourself.
I LOVE that most stamp companies are now including dies to go along with them. I am pretty lazy about fussy cutting these days….so much easier and faster with the dies π Your cards are all so adorable ~ Happy New Year, Jill
Happy New Year’s! I do more card making than anything. And here is the best card I have made so far https://www.pinterest.com/pin/68468856812767386/
Ha! I love the name of your blog π So, my favorite dye inks are the older style MFT dye inks because they have a fantastic, juicy FOAM pad. Super rare find these days. They have never failed to stamp crisp and vibrant with any stamp. Pretty sad that the pads have been changed. I have been loving the MFT hybrid black for coloring with different mediums. For pigment, I’m not picky. I really do more stamping but digital diecutting for me is a close second. I love being able to create any shape I need for my cards or other projects, whether its masks for techniques or layer stamping or a “structural” element. P.S. I’m a new visitor to your blog π Thank you so much for participating in this hop!
Here’s a link to my own giveaway with cards I’ve created! http://www.alaskaforgetmenotdesigns.blogspot.com/2016/01/happy-new-year-and-giveaway.html
I use more distress ink than any other because I love blending! And I think I stamp more than die cut but it’s close!
