Thought this might be fun for a Congratulations card–perfect for the Grad season upon us!
I see as I am posting this, my colors got a bit washed out in the photo. Blergh. But in person, they pop a bit more. 🙂 Hooray for the Awesome! 🙂
Pretty simple card overall, but fun to give today! 🙂
This card was made with Technique Tuesday fun: Way to Go stamp set. It’s an awesome set (no pun intended), especially for Memory Keeping. But as you can see, very card friendly too! 🙂
Thank you for stopping by! Those in the US, enjoy your long weekend. I’ll be taking some time to remember the men and women who lost their lives serving our country.
Take care- Jill 🙂
This little guy from Neat & Tangled’s Big Bold Brew reminds me of my little guy, so I had to color him up x 3! 🙂
I masked, stamped, and colored them with Copic markers, and then kept it rather simple. I kept hemming and hawing about added some background shading or texture, and in the end, I always know that if I think about it too long, it isn’t a good idea. Ha! 🙂 Ask me how I know. 😉 eeeeeep! He is a cutie right? AND he’s holding coffee. 🙂
This stamp was perfect for me to spill over. 😉 😉
Again, I thought I’d join in the Little Tangles Challenge this month. 🙂 Great timing for this challenge and my groove, apparently! 🙂Anything Goes! Check it out HERE! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
This is my last week guesting over at the Color Throwdown! I’ve enjoyed it so!
Here are this week’s colors:
I cannot hide the fact that this card took me forever to land on. I blame the cake. 😉
Here’s my take:I wasn’t sure as I was making this, but in the end…whoah, I feel like this card completely evokes summer! 😉This card was made with Technique Tuesday’s: Summer Adventure. A VERY summery fun set! 🙂
Head over to see what everyone made this week! 🙂
Thanks so much to my friend Lisa ❤ (Go Blue!) and the talented Color Throwdown team ❤ for having me over to create this month!! I have completely enjoyed working with these color combos. You ladies sure can rock it out every Wednesday! 🙂 Thank YOU!! 🙂
Still snickering about this fun little Lawn Fawn set, Flamingo Together! The light bulb went on when I realized this flamingo wanted to graduate! 🙂
Toooo fun! I paired the Flamingo Together set with the new Lawn Fawn Smart Cookie set, and bam, a graduate! 🙂
I colored the images with Copics, and then blended on some Distress Ink for the background, finishing it up with some Wink of Stella sparkle, and a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins. The die cut frames are all from My Favorite Things.
The tricky part is always thinking backward on masking. It’s not hard, by any means, but when it’s late at night, well, things aren’t always so streamlined in the brain, are they? LOL 🙂 Fortunately, I did have the forethought of stamping out a few of these at the same time. So, now I just need to color them!
Exciting that the current Lawnscaping Challenge is Sparkle It Up!! Perfecto for my sparkly graduate! Check out all the fun HERE!
Sidenote: As I was sparkling up my Flamingo’s hat and whatnot, my Wink of Stella pen had a surge of fluid roll out. It was close to ruining my card in the final touch. Ack! *sweats! I’m wondering if this common?
Lastly, thought I’d just share a picture of all the fun Lawn Fawn little ditties I recently finished and cut out, READY for cards! Whoot! 🙂 Cuties!
Thanks for stopping by–have a great week! 🙂

Busted out some of my fun Technique Tuesday stamps so I could make a cute girl card. 🙂
Again, with the sparkly goodness not showing up in the photo! Ack! Oh well…delightful in person 🙂 They also have glossy accent noses!
I thought this color palette would be fun for a girl. It brings back memories of my favorite colors, back in the day. 🙂
I used the Technique Tuesday set Beary Sweet and the Postage Card dies. Then, I watercolored with my Zig markers. Fun!!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a good week!
Here’s my take on MFT Sketch Challenge #281 (and inadvertently, MFT Color Challenge #45)! These challenges come from the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration Blog!I stamped and practiced coloring a bunch of unicorns this past week, so used one of those. 🙂
My son picked the colors for me to use as I was coloring along. I wasn’t sure at first, but in the end, I think he might have a secret color talent! LOL!! 🙂
When I put this all together later that night, I realized it was the Color Challenge colors! WHAT are the chances!!!? So anyway, throwing it in that pool too. 🙂
The sparkle, which never photographs, is really what make these unicorns POP! Too bad it isn’t reflected in the photo. A pretty basic card, but fun to give to someone! 🙂
My card is made with supplies at My Favorite Things. Die-namics: Stitched Mini Scallop Square and Rectangle STAX. Stamps: BB Magical Unicorns.
Have a good Sunday! 🙂
I’m using these cute little stamps from the Sweet Stamp Shop again. I love this little set!
I thought this would be fun for Father’s Day… to give to my husband. 🙂 I used my Kuretake watercolors for a quick coloring, and then did all the die cutting.
So enjoy the little funny and punny stamps from Sweet Stamp Shop! 🙂 You can check out my card I made previously with this set HERE.
The dies I used are all from My Favorite Things. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by-have a great weekend!
Enjoying my third week guesting at the Color Throwdown!
Here are this week’s colors for #393:I’m a HUGE fan of gray and a bright pink, so this was cool. 🙂
Here’s my take:
I wanted to emphasize the Awesome part. 😉
Fun: Check! 🙂
This card was made with Technique Tuesday fun: Way to Go stamp set, Photo Frame die, and elements from the Clipboard die set. Oh and the “You’re” is from the Chicks Rule set. 🙂
I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone made this week! 🙂
Thanks for dropping by. I’ll see you back here next Wednesday for more Color Throwdown!
Having fun with the Paper Smooches Challenge this month! 🙂 Rainbow! Love a rainbow!
This little set has recently been retired. I didn’t want to miss it because, it has the cutest little helicopter in it! 🙂 But, I started with the umbrella. LOL.
Kept this card pretty basic, except that I blended my little heart out. But I see this photo above and think, huh? My photos take away the smoothness that exists in person? Weird. Anywho, glad I got some Copic coloring in.
Paper Smooches : Sunny Side Up stamps.
I’m playing along with the May Paper Smooches Challenge: Rainbow!! 🙂
Have a great week! 🙂
I super enjoy Technique Tuesday planner stamps! They are so fun and whimsy! I am trying to commit to using a planner, so I can use them often. 🙂 We’ll see. In the meantime, I know I make cards! So that’s what I did:
This little car is one of my favorite of the planner stamps! 🙂 It is from the set: Planner-Car.
The letters are from the die set: Hometown Lower Case. I need to use these more often, because I like the font! 🙂 And it’s the perfect size for cards! I quick colored the cars with Copics. No blending, just color! 🙂
You can check out all the Technique Tuesday Planner Products HERE. If you are a planner person, I cannot recommend them enough. Also, their price point is awesome!! 😉
Thanks for stopping by! Have a fantabulous week!
