Graduation season rolls on with this stinkin’ cute skunk and smart cookie from Lawn Fawn! 🙂
Paired the Lawn Fawn Smart Cookie set & Stinkin’ Cute sets for a fun card! 🙂 Oh, I also used A Birdie Told Me for the speech bubble and die. 😉
I loosely watercolored the background with Distress Inks (Stormy Sky, Shaded Lilac, Seedless Preserves, and Mustard Seed). I masked, stamped, & colored the images with Copics. Then I fussy cut them, also using my college skills for X-Acto knife trimming so the cutie skunk could hold his diploma. LOL. Thousands well spent. 😉 Finished it up with some Wink of Stella sparkle, splats, stitching, some patterned paper and Lawn Trimmings.
I stamped a speech bubble inside the card, with the sentiment, “You’re One Smart Cookie”, but forgot to take the photo! Duh. I generally neglect the insides (the shame!), so I totally blitzed on remembering to share it this one time! Darn.
The current Lawnscaping Challenge is Distress Maniacs!! Distress inks rock! Check out all the fun HERE!
I guess Lawn Fawn is my go-to set for Graduations this year! 🙂 Yay! You can find my other recent card HERE. Super fun stuff!
Thanks for stopping by–have a great Wednesday!
Jill 🙂 P.S. It should be noted I used some purple. LOL!

You Are the Sprinkles on My Donut! Such a fun set from Neat & Tangled! I had the super good fortune to win this Say Yes to Donuts set last month, so I thought it perfect to use it for this month’s Little Tangles Challenge! 🙂 (You can check out last month’s post HERE.) Thank you again, Neat & Tangled! You know how to make a girl smile! 🙂
The challenge this month is Embossing. I wanted to heat emboss the icing on my donut with my Versamark pen and powder. But apparently my Versamark pen is AWOL. It must be hanging with my powder tool, that has been MIA for about four years. Haaaa!! Anywho, what to do? Well, I used a glue pen to stick the powder down. I do not advice this method. It bubbles! But for the icing, it was all good. 🙂
Can you see all that bubble texture? LOL!! I also embossed my sentiment by using Versafine ink. Much more conventional. 😉The Little Tangles Challenge this month can be found HERE. Check it out! Fun fun! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! And thank you for the sweet comments! 🙂
Here’s my take on MFT Sketch Challenge #286. My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration Blog!I made a horizontal card which, feels a little foreign to me nowadays. 🙂
I used this MFT diagonal coverup, so the sketch took an angle by default. 😉
I die cut everything and then did some stitching. Finally, I added glossy accents to all the letters. I was on the fence about doing that, but it always adds a little pop of fun, I think. If only I didn’t get hand cramps from squeezing my Glossy Accents bottle. Haaaa! 🙂
Bonus! I used the colors from the Color Throwdown Challenge this week–#398! When I saw that awesome combo this week, I was hoping to get in on it 🙂 Success! So summery and spunky! Check out their Color Challenge this (and every) week HERE.
My card is made with supplies at My Favorite Things. Die-namics: Stitched Cover Up Companion Diagonal, and the Highrise Lower Case Alphabet. Card stock: Smooth White, Black Licorice, Limelight, Lemon Drop, Razzle berry, and Cherry Crisp.

Popping in with a super quick card. Well, super quick card in the end. Ever sit there and tinker along for an hour or so, and then make a card in less than 5 minutes? Yup, that’s this one! Haaaaa!
Such a funky, fresh, summer color combo. Just stamped all the candles, then heat embossed the sentiment over top. I finished it off with some scoring lines. And of course, my new technique of just holding the card to snap a photo. Seriously. The photographing saga will never end. LOL. But it has severely improved over the years, so there’s that! 🙂
I won this Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp on Instagram a month or so back. I was WAY excited!! I’ve never had a card kit before and who doesn’t love a fun win?! Now, if I could just commit to making birthday cards to have on the ready!! 🙂 😉
Thank you, Simon Says Stamp!! Super cool!! ❤
A quick and simple one! Thanks for stopping by–Enjoy your weekend!!
I’m back today with some watermelon goodness using the same set as yesterday: Technique Tuesday’s Summer Adventure. You can check out a couple other cards I made with the same set HERE and HERE. 🙂 Summmmer! 🙂
Today, the grass was wet. Haaaaa!! 🙂
Love these WATERMELONS and this Hometown Alpha set ROCKS! 🙂
I masked off some watercolor paper and stamped all the watermelons from Technique Tuesday’s Summer Adventure. After that, I loosely watercolored them with my Zig pens, diecut the letters, arranged, stitched and poof! Oh, and the little heart is from TT’s Heart Strings die. 😉
If I made this again, I’d make that center space narrower and tighten the columns I think? Hmmmm? I actually thought this would be a technique trial card, but it went well, so I ran with it! 🙂 And now, I need to mail it!
Keepin’ it fresh! 🙂

I’m having some yummy, sparkly fun with Technique Tuesday’s: Summer Adventure. This super summery fun set is all over my desk! Hoping to bust some watermelon madness next! For now, let’s chill with popsicles! 🙂
Is this photo taken in the grass? Yes, yes it is. It’s come that, my friends. Winter could be interesting in the snow! Haaaa!
I stamped all the popsicles from Technique Tuesday’s Summer Adventure with Versamark ink and embossed them all in white. Then I watercolored them with my Zig pens. After that, I did a full wash over the whole paper, which, was a mistake, But I was able to salvage it. I think? 😉 I embossed and stitched the sentiment, added some Stickles, and boom, finito. Well, finito after I let it dry for hours. 😉
Hope your day is delicious! Take care

Here’s my take on MFT Sketch Challenge #285. My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration Blog!I looked at the sketch, and all I could recall was linear, so I ran with that, as you can clearly tell. 🙂
I inked up the Distressed Patterns stamp in all different colors. Sometimes I pick them out in advance. Often, I wing it as I go. This being a prime example. I’m not sure which tactic is better? But I tend to get more of an atypical combo if I wing it! 🙂I do love me some lines. And this sentiment. It is far from being a clear stamp anymore. 😉
My card is made with supplies at My Favorite Things. Die-namics: Blueprints 24, Stamps: Penguins in Paradise and Distressed Patterns. Card stock: Smooth White.
