Having some more fun with the June Paper Smooches Challenge! 🙂 Layers!
This card is waaaaay simpler in the layer department than my last card. You can see that one HERE. I still want to layer all the things after those hearts. 😉
I rubbed some distress inks on the bottom layer and flicked some water. I then adhered the navy blue skyline. I thought this sentiment was fun to complete the card.
Paper Smooches : Super 2 die, and an all time fave of mine, Slang Gang stamps.
I’m once again playing along with the June Paper Smooches Challenge: Layers!! Check it out! 🙂
Thanks for popping by! 🙂
I definitely gravitate to Awesome. Literally. 😉 This card is made with Neat & Tangled’s Awesome die! I so enjoy the way this “Awesome” is written!I
I have always loved Spirograph! My grandparents, that lived next door to us growing up, had a Spirograph kit. I loved using all those colored pens. That set is long gone. *sigh*. BUT, I just “borrowed” my son’s set instead! Bwaaaahaaahaaa! Shhh. 😉
I know who I’m sending this one to! 😉
The Wonky Stitched Rectangle is from My Favorite Things.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a good week!
I had some fun mixing up some Technique Tuesday supplies, to make a cute Dad’s Day card!
My Dad doesn’t wear a bow tie, but I thought this made the little big bird that much more fun! 🙂
I stamped, die cut, and colored with Copic markers. Love these little birds!
I used the following Technique Tuesday supplies: Postage Card die, Chicks Rule, Summer (glasses die), and Man Day.
Here’s to all the great Dad’s out there! 🙂
I used some more fun little stamps from the Sweet Stamp Shop again. This little set just makes me laugh. And well, when can’t we use a laugh? 🙂
I’ve also taken to just holding my cards to get a better pic! LOL. Something so simple, yet so elusive. 🙂I colored these with Copics and used Glossy Accents on the glasses. This is another punny stamp set, Grannie Panties, from Sweet Stamp Shop. 🙂
The die and background stamp I used, is from My Favorite Things. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by-have a great weekend!
Rockin’ out some more Technique Tuesday fun! This sentiment & tape stamp is from the Turn Up The Volume. Fun stuff.
I embossed the tapes and then used Distress Inks to watercolor over them. After that was all set, I die cut some stars, stamped the sentiment, and stitched some sequins on. 🙂
I think these music sentiments are fun & unexpected for cards. Plus, let’s face it…in my head is the only place I can actually carry a tune. 😉
Check out all the fun at Technique Tuesday!
Here’s to a happy Wednesday!!
Having fun with the June Paper Smooches Challenge! 🙂 Layers!
This is a card that really needs to be enjoyed in person, as you can see below, a photo straight on isn’t quite as fun as holding it on an angle.
I used a bright yellow, a poppy orange, and a mint color to layer these hearts.I thought I was photo challenged the other day? Ha! This brought things to another level of challenging. 🙂
Paper Smooches : Linked Hearts die, and Fun and Flirty stamps.
Love all the fun hidden layers. So very cool. 😉 When I finished, I thought of Emily Leiphart’s super cool layered bike card (HERE) she made for Paper Smooches many months back. Emily, your inspiration is seeping into my subconscious! 🙂 Love that–thanks!

Thanks for popping by! Have a great week! 🙂
I can’t stop using my favorite from Technique Tuesday’s June release, this Music Makers record die!
Such a super fun sentiment from this Memory Keepers Make Music! I drew a grid for the BG and kept this card very simple in the end. It sort of has a little 80’s feel, yes? 🙂
I’ll be back this week to show more fun from this Technique Tuesday release, so stay tuned!
Have an awesome weekend!! Jill 🙂
