Six! 6! Seis!

Geesh! I have not made a card in many days! I don’t know how long it has been, but awhile. Mid-August to Mid/Late September is action packed around here! It’s been fun/busy/crazy for certain, but I am looking forward to regularly scheduled programming again. Or Christmas break, whichever gets here first! 🙂

Anyway, a quick share today to freshen’ things up around here!

hawkins_jill_6_00_wmI made some little gift cards for my son’s friends a while back. Well, he wanted a fish birthday card too! So voila! 🙂hawkins_jill_6_wmI used Avery Elle’s super fun fish: That Bites. Of course, searching for this stamp set link, I see there are many new Avery Elle stamps that I will be adding to my wishlist! Dang. Love that peeps keep making the Awesome! 🙂

Oh, also, I used Avery Elle’s Numbered Balloons.

Here’s the fun cards I made prior (in progress, that is.):

hawkins_jill_fish_wmI did actually remember to take a pic after I finished them, but no time to hunt it down now! 🙂

Ok…gotta run! Happy Birthday to my favorite little man! I love him so.

Take care all- Jill

More PS September! :)

I thought I’d share a couple more Star Cards I made with Paper Smooches September release! I feel like I have barely cracked the surface of possibilities yet! You can find my previous celebratory Paper Smooches post HERE. I also used the cute new Feathered Friends set HERE.

These cards are made with the new die set, Super Star dies! ❤

hawkins_jill_miss your face_00_WmEeeeep I love the stars with the City Super 2 dies! I watercolored the background with distress inks for this one.

hawkins_jill_miss your face_WmAnd the sentiment is from Fun & Flirty! 🙂

The next one is made with the same Super Star dies and sentiment set, Fun & Flirty! I’m telling you, that is a fantastic sentiment set! 🙂

hawkins_heybeautiful_wmJust a touch of watercolor for an easy background. The hard part is letting it dry! 😉

hawkins_heybeautiful_00_wmI thought it was fun to trim up with Star frame into strips and create this card.

Be sure to check out all the awesome new Paper Smooches goodies HERE! Such FUN!! 🙂

Thanks for popping in today!

I Give Thanks for…You

I was feeling the autumn vibes the other night, so I embraced it. Fall is definitely my favorite season! LOVE everything about it, except when it ends, and all that is left is bare trees and wet leaves. 😉

I used Technique Tuesday‘s I Give Thanks.

hawkins_jill_grateful you_wmI rarely make a horizontal card and I was cracking up because I didn’t even intend to here! I stamped, embossed, and watercolored these great leaves. I didn’t realize its orientation til I went to put it on a card base. I think I was a little tired! Haaaa!

hawkins_jill_grateful you_00_wmThanks for stopping by! Enjoy the last weeks of summer!

Hey Beautiful

Happy Long Weekend, USA! I had some fun coloring and arranging the new Feathered Friends from Paper Smooches! You can check out another release post I did HERE. (I’ll have another coming soon!) 🙂

Fantastically coincidentally, the September Paper Smooches Challenge is Anything Goes! Whoooot! Lots of time, and the sky is the limit on this one, crafty friends! 🙂

hawkins_jill_hey B_00_wmAren’t these cute little birds so tweet?! What fun to color them! I love having the coordinating dies too. I often don’t, so it was fun to use them here, especially with those little birdie legs! 🙂hawkins_jill_hey B_wmFor coloring these cuties, I used my Zig watercolor pens. For the background, I blended on some Distress Inks in Twisted Citron and an Orange (I can’t recall which, LOL.). I purposely made them a bit splotchy to get a wee bit of texture. 😉

Paper Smooches sentiment I used is from the Fun and Flirty set. ❤

September Paper Smooches Challenge: Anything Goes! Check it out HERE.

Thanks for popping by–Enjoy the long weekend! Happy Labor Day!

Happy Fry Day! :)

This new Planner-Yum set from Technique Tuesday just makes me SMILE!! It’s all about the fries! With that sentiment? Gah, SO good! 🙂

hawkins_jill_fry day_wmI mean, could this stamp be any cuter?! 🙂 I masked, stamped, colored with Copics, added some glitter and googley eyes, and done! 🙂

hawkins_jill_fry day_00_wmWho says Planner stamps aren’t for cards? 🙂

I also used TT’s die set Greatest (Fresh Cut Studio) for the fun arrows stitched on the bottom. Here are a couple of my other NEW favorite Planner Stamps HERE and HERE. Student and School!

Gah, too fun! Bravo again, Teri! ❤

Thanks for popping in! 🙂 Happy Fry Day! Happy Weekend!

Pi Delivery! :)

I think I have a punny problem? Haaaaa! 🙂

hawkins_jill_pi multi_00_wmLawn Fawn stamps are puntastically pun for punage. So I cannot (obviously) resist. Plus, with their Alpha sets, it’s so easy to put everything together. (Well, this card took me a couple of days, because time is not my friend, but that is neither here nor there. LOL 🙂 )

hawkins_jill_pi multi_wmI used Lawn Fawn’s new stamp sets: Cutie Pie and Home for the Holidays. 😉 I used Harold’s ABCs for the sentiment once again. That set can’t be beat! 🙂 Oh wait, there’s a pun waiting to happen in there….beat|beet! LOL! 🙂

I’m also excited I got to play along with the current Color Throwdown Challenge #408! Check that out HERE! (I combined the Red and Yellow to make the Orange. Shhhh) 🙂

(The stitched Rectangle die is from My Favorite Things. Blueprints!! 🙂 )

Thanks for stopping by–hope your day is full of pun! Seriously, I canNOT turn it off. 😉
