Hey Hey! Welcome to my stop along this fun Lil’ Inker Designs Mini Release Blog Hop! There are prizes being offered for comments left along the entire blog hop! So be sure to drop everyone some ❤ along the way for more chances to win. Details and the full blog list can be found on the Lil’ Inker Blog HERE.
I was fortunate to receive this great Lil’ Inker stamp while on an awesome crafty retreat earlier this month. It is such a beautiful sentiment, and I love the way it owns a card! Therefore, I decided to just give it a pretty rainbow backdrop and just let it shine. Literally. Because I heat embossed it. 😉
Gah! How awesome is that stamp? Geesh! ❤ I keep thinking this would look sweet in a frame. 🙂 Might have to do that!
For the background, I masked off stripes and blended Distress Inks on, one by one. I love how vibrant they turned out. I was thinking I’d add a few spatters to this, but in the end, I wanted to maintain the crisp feel that resulted. It’s a pretty simple technique, but it gives a POW, and it almost looks like patterned paper. What do you think?
Here’s are the two stamps, that along with a few others, are being released today:
The next stop on the hop is the always creating Heather Hoffman! I’m sure Heather’s project will be fantastic! Be sure to hop on–sure to be amazing projects to see! 🙂
If you get lost along the way, be sure to head back to the Lil’ Inker blog and start from the beginning. You can get to the LID Blog HERE.
Speaking of kindness, thank you so very much to Laura, for sharing these super sweet stamps and for including us in the fun today!! ❤
Thanks for stopping by! Spread kindness!
Happy Saturday! Last night I stayed up and made this colorful card to join in the Ellen Hutson April Pin-Sights Challenge! I think I’ve missed the last couple challenges over there, and I was so happy to sit and make a card for this one.
I made a purple deer! 🙂 I can’t wait to get this in the mail today. ❤
For this card, I blended on some Distress Inks, and then stamped over them with white ink. I stamped and die cut all these pieces, added a few spatters and stitching, and voila! I’m still impressed I voluntarily used purple. Sometimes purple needs some love too. 😉
For this card, I used Ellen Hutson’s Oh Deer stamps and dies AND one of my new favorites: Wonky Backdrops! I always enjoy Julie Ebersole’s designs. Gah!
Check out the challenge HERE and join in! You can see I was inspired by the soft colors 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! Have a fantastic weekend!!

I’m here today to share this perky little number, made with April’s release of awesomeness! This card has the Paper Smooches Pineapple 1 Die and the fun Pineapple Crush 2 stamp set! This release just makes me smile! ❤
I think this sentiment rocks, so I ROYGBIV’d it up, and stamped it repeatedly in a Stand Tall pattern. 🙂
Of course, then I added some googley eyes. 🙂 I just love the smiling pineapple!
Also, for the pattern on the pineapple, I used the Pineapple Crush stamp set.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend ahead! I’m hoping to get a lot done myself! Yikes!

On with my project!
For this card, I used the soon to be released, New Beginnings stamp set! This set has an awesome variety of stamps to celebrate special and everyday occasions. 🙂
I was so happy how this turned out! Honestly, I was afraid it was going to be a mess, but in the end, I ❤ it!! 🙂 This rose is fantastic in its simplicity, for people like me.
I watercolored these with my Zig markers and added a “few” little pixels in after it was all dry.
Hope you are excited for the release too! I can’t wait to make some more things myself! 🙂
Next stop: The way talented Karin Akesdotter! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great weekend!
Take care- Jill 🙂
Hey hey, Happy Friday!! I thought I’d pop in and share some fun! 🙂
This little bunny is just too sweet! This little guy and the pineapples are part of the new Paper Smooches stamp set, Pineapple Crush stamps and dies. The sentiment is from the new Pineapple Crush 2. Oh my word, I ❤ them both!
I blended distress inks on the background here and then flicked some water on. I colored the cute bunny with Copic markers and added a pom-pom tail. 🙂
I finished off the card with a few sequins and some stitching. The debate I have over using sequins or no sequins is ongoing. 😛
The pineapples can be stamped in dozens of different ways, as there are lots of little stamp parts that you can use here and there.
That wraps it for now. Another busy weekend ahead here! I think this is just the beginning of a busy season, so I better begin to accept it! Ha! 🙂
Take care- Jill 🙂
Happy Easter! I hope those who celebrate had a wonderful Easter! Our weather was unreal here today, and I can’t remember a nicer Easter day, weather wise.
I thought I’d pop in to share some more fun from this month’s Technique Tuesday release! They can be found HERE!
I used purple and it all turned out OK! LOL! I am not a huge fan of purple, but I did try to it give it a few nods last month. Too funny!
This card uses the new fun set, Bunny Owl. (You cannot beat this price point for a cute lil’ set!)
I also used the new Kids Are Cool stamp set, which I ❤ ,and need more time in the day to use all the stamps there! 🙂 I think if you journal or scrapbook, this set would be extra perfecto for you!I also used the Memo Pad Card die. This die never fails me. 🙂 I used my Zig pens to watercolor this cutie, and added some googley eyes, of course.
And while we are here, enjoying some spring cards, I thought I’d share this silly one I made using the Bailey the Bunny stamp set. That tooshie is the best!
I was definitely doing some snickering while making this lil’ nutty one! 🙂
This sentiment is from Sassy Family. If you haven’t checked out the latest series of stamps in the “Sassy” line, I recommend them highly. I think they are super funny!! I love to send cards with laughs. 🙂 These bunnies were colored with Copic markers.
Here’s to everyone having a great week! I’m hoping to catch up on some stuff sometime this week? Yikes– I’m a bit behind on things–no pun intended! Haaaa!
Happy Friday!! I’m a little behind on most things this week, but I wanted to pop in and share this cool pineapple card, using the new Paper Smooches Pineapple 2 die! 🙂
I also used the new Cross Stitch Die to create this monocramatic background with lots of texture! 🙂 Big fan of this die, and I did some actual crossstitching with it…coming soon! 😉
For his cool glasses, I cut all the strips and adhered them down before die cutting the glasses. ❤ the happy face! 🙂
I hope to be back again this weekend! In the meantime, I hope you get a chocolate bunny delivered to you! 😉
Take care- Jill 🙂
Today’s post is a special one. I am joining in a blog hop for Autism Awareness. My friends Veronica Zalis and Tenia Nelson are keeping up with this great idea in support of their children. I could not agree more with helping to shine a light on Autism Awareness.
I encourage you to check out Autism Speaks. It is a great website full of information and educational links to various resources.
I hope the world can learn to be more patient and considerate to those affected by Autism. I know for certain it is always appreciated.
Ok, on with my card, made with blue love….
This little cutie skater is from Mama Elephant, along with the sentiment. The backgrounds are My Favorite Things. The clouds are Avery Elle, along with the hill and panel die.
This came together with some fun little accents I “borrowed” from a friend. ❤️
If you click on the link below you can add the link to your blog post!
Big hugs to Veronica and Tenia for organizing this hop!
Hop back to the beginning for the next stop!
Thanks for stopping in and I hope you’ll spread the love 😉
I’m back sharing some more awesome Paper Smooches from the new APRIL release. You can find all the new products HERE.
Today’s card features the new Pinepple Crush 2 stamps set ( ❤ ) and the fun new die, Pineapple 1 die.
How cutie is this couple?! Gah, ❤ them!
Everything else on this card is taken from various previously released Paper Smooches stamp sets and dies. Her necklace is made from a snowflake dot. 🙂
Also, I embossed the background with the new Harlequin Die, which I am itching to use in so many ways!
Be sure to check out the Paper Smooches blog for all the latest fun and this month’s challenge! LOVE the Paper Smooches challenges!! ❤
Happy April! It’s no joke that there are lots new stamps and dies from Technique Tuesday today! They can be found HERE!
This new Mother’s Day set, Flowers for Mom, is simple and fun to use! I love this flower! ❤ ! And I have a difficult time using flowers, so this is a big win for me!
I colored these with Prismacolor colored pencils after heat embossing the images.
Love the simplicity. There is also a great die, Flowers for Mom die (check it out HERE) that will be fun to use in conjunction with this set and several others. ❤
I made this next card with the new Memory Keeper’s stamp set, Priceless. It’s got lots of stampy goodness included.
For this card, I masked off the border and used Distress Inks to watercolor, Patiently waiting for it to dry is the hardest part. I want to keep messing with the colors and moving them around. But the trick is to stop and let it DRY! 🙂 I used foam tape to pop up the middle of this sentiment banner, giving it a bowed look. I made this card to give for Mom’s day too. Moms are truly priceless. 🙂
Be sure to check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE! I am looking forward to making a few more things to share later this month 🙂
Wishing you a BRIGHT April!! Thanks for stopping by! ❤
