AND, we have something special to share…we partnered up with XYRON this week.

Our designers received Xyron adhesives to use on their October projects and Xyron’s design team were given Paper Smooches stamps to create with.  They are sharing their Paper Smooches cards on the their blogs this week. You can find them all HERE

For my project today, I used the super fun and festive new Paper Smooches Santa Card dies! Eeeeeeeeep! How cute is he?! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Bonus that we received Xyron adhesives to use on our projects this month! The Xyron sticker maker makes this Santa a breeze to piece together. I am always amazed when I peel up that plastic topper and BOOM: Sticker! Love. It. You can check out the Xyron Sticker Maker HERE. It’s a staple for a crafty stash. πŸ˜‰

For Santa’s face, I decided it would be fun to use the Flower Frames dies. These Santa Card dies cut a larger beard to fill a card front, but I trimmed mine down to work on the Flower Frame. I added a little Liquid Applique to his hat brim and a huge pom-pom! πŸ™‚ Oh what fun it is!

His cheeks are rosy!! πŸ™‚ For the background, I used Paper Smooches Graffiti alpha set to create the repeated HO HO HO! Don’t you just love his bushy eyebrows?! ❀

I also used the Xyron Mega Tape Runner to adhere the larger elements and the panel to the card base. I am a fan of this tape runner because I don’t have to refill it nearly as often as I do some of my smaller runners. Big fan of that! Thank you for sharing your awesome stickiness with us this month Xyron! πŸ˜‰

Next stop on our Paper Smooches Pep Rally Hop:  Karin Akesdotter! πŸ™‚ Karin wow’s me constantly! Geesh! ❀

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to hop and leave comments for a chance to win some Paper Smooches goodness! Merry Christmas! Errr, I mean, Happy Fall! πŸ˜‰

Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

STAMPtember: Technique Tuesday set!

Happy [Technique] Tuesday! Exciting news about a new Simon Says Stamp/Technique Tuesday STAMPtember Set in the house! You can check out the new set, Sassy You’re Not Normal (haaaa!) HERE! It is SUPER funny!

I thought I’d share some cards I made with this new set. I had the foresight to think ahead and make a few at once. There were originally 6, but I was having some trouble stamping that night, (LOL!!) so only three made it to the finish line! Haaaaa! πŸ™‚

For these cards, I also used the delightful Enjoyed Layered Flower Stamp set. Isn’t that Sunflower fun!?

These new sentiments on this SS/TT set are so freaking awesome and CRACK ME UP!! πŸ™‚

How funny about the dryer!? So true! I stamped the dryer repeatedly in orange and gray inks. πŸ™‚

And to finish off, I had to also use this sentiment, so I colored for Kathy’s Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge with it! πŸ™‚ Have you joined in The Daily Marker 30 Day? There’s still time! It’s quite fun and great practice! I have no idea how Kathy keeps up with all?!! Amazing! You can check out all my misgivings and successes HERE on Instagram!

Be sure to hop over and check out the new STAMPtember Goodies from Simon Says Stamp HERE and everything new from Technique Tuesday HERE!Β  πŸ™‚ Lots of fun stuff to add to your wish list! Though this Technique Tuesday/Simon Says Stamp set, Sassy You’re Not Normal set is a Limited Edition! So don’t delay! πŸ™‚

Have an awesome week!

To Do: Breezy Thoughts…

Happy, Happy Friday!

I’m sharing a Paper Smooches card today that I wish I was currently living in! LOL! πŸ™‚

Can’t you smell the salt water breeze? πŸ™‚ Or hear the Lake winds? πŸ˜‰

For this card, I used Paper Smooches fun new Daily Diary set which is super fabulous for lists, planners, notes…but also, for CARDS! (I ❀ that little box and check mark–especially when it is checked off!) These PS dies are also new, Postage Stamp dies, and come in a set of FOUR! The Lighthouse die just rocks! πŸ™‚

That’s all for today! Next week is our DT Hop to celebrate October’s release! How crazy is that? Where is September running off to? πŸ™‚

Have a Great WEEKEND!
Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

Fall Tidings and more!

Fall Tidings? That’s a thing, right? Well, it is now. LOL! πŸ™‚

Today, I’m popping in with a few more cards from the September Release (and others!) of Technique Tuesday! All the new goodies can be found HERE!

My first card features this month’s cutie owl, Framed Owl! Awwwww! ❀ I also used the sentiment from Sassy Birthday! Perfectly funny! πŸ™‚

I colored this cutie with Copic Markers and cut him out using the Clipboard die.

Next up, is this perfectly seasonal sentiment paired up with these layered leaves from the Fall Favorites set. These leaves stamp in such a cool fashion and I love the look in the end! It’s pretty subtle is these photos, but in person, it is lovely. Imagine the possibilities of layers with these!

I also added in some sweet acorns from the Fall Accents dies. When I made this card, we were actually experiencing sweater weather and I loved it! Suddenly, we are back into the low 90’s. Phew!

Another sweet and simple card using the Fall Accent dies is this one below:

This card is pretty simple and straight forward, but it would be easy to create a bunch of these for that very reason. This sentiment is from the Echinacea Stamp set. (All the finches are currently eating our dried up Echinacea flowers in the yard. ❀ )

And last, but not least, is this tidy little holiday number:

This pinecone (Pinecone Builder) ROCKS and I need to use it more! It comes with a solid cone to create a background for your delicate die cut. I used both delicate cuts here however. I die cut the pinecone,Β  as well as dry embossed it, to create some texture on the background

If you eliminated the “letterpress” background, this card would be fairly simple to create by the dozen! Of course, I love this handwritten sentiment paired with the typeface of “wishes”. This is from the Spirit of December stamp set. This sentiment set is crazy versatile, because you can mix up the sentiments as needed… and you don’t have to cut them. (the horror! LOL!) πŸ˜‰ πŸ™‚

Be sure to hop over and check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!Β  Lots of trouble to be had! πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by!!

Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

Some Weekend Cute!

Happy Weekend All! πŸ™‚

I meant to post yesterday, but instead, I’m here today! I am so excited to share this first card! I love this little Doodle! Eeep! The cuteness!! πŸ™‚

Oh my word! ❀ him! πŸ™‚ This sentiment is from PS’s awesome Kindness Sampler.

Another card I made with Dinky Doodles. For these cards, I used both Paper Smooches Dinky Doodles 1 and Dinky Doodles 2.

I thought the TREmendous sentiment from Paper Smooches Huge Hugs 2 set worked perfectly and punfully! πŸ™‚ Also, I used the newer Flower Frames dies!Β I have those die cuts all over my desk right now. All. Over! Haaaa!

And last but not least, I thought I’d share the anniversary card I made for my hubby this weekend!

I made this background with watercolors WEEKS ago and then it just sat on my desk. I masked off this wonky frame and I’m pretty darn sure I used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (I can’t imagine what else that is? LOL!). They are still super awesome in my book. πŸ™‚ I colored the birds with Zig Clean Color markers.

This cute little bird set is PS’s Feathered Friends (and dies) and the I Love You die is a great staple for anyone’s stash! <3!

All the new Paper Smooches can be found over at theΒ  PS online store!

Have an awesome weekend!

Paper Smooches Monsters!

Hello all! I’m popping in with some super fun Monster cards from Paper SmoochesΒ September release! You can find all the new productsΒ HERE.Β

I try not to pick favorites, but obviously these little guys have made their way to the top of my list! πŸ™‚ These are the new Monster Dies! This first photo is a stack of Thank You notes I made for my son’s birthday! Eeeeeep! He filled out the insides (so diligently too! wow!) and I made the outsides. πŸ™‚ Teamwork! He usually colors his own, but I like to try to get them out in a timely fashion, and we were behind this year. πŸ™‚ These were pretty quick and easy, and I think they turned out SO fun! πŸ™‚

This next little number, I made to put in his lunchbox today. ❀

Such a little cutie monster! πŸ™‚

For both the cards above, I used Paper Smooches Huge Hugs 2 for the sentiments. Such a great set!

Oh, and also one of my favorite PS Tags, For You Tag die. πŸ™‚

And last but not least, I thought I’d share this card again, in case you missed the DT Hop. Gah! Such fun!

These new dies are called Monster Dies and the sentiment is from the new Halloween Sampler.

Have a great weekend!!
