Let’s Giggle!

If you are looking for my Paper Smooches January Pep Rally post, please find that one HERE ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy Friday! I hope you are all recovered from great fun with family and friends! Now, round two ahead with New Year’s Celebrations! ๐Ÿ™‚

Today, I’m sharing the sweetest little Paper Smooches card using December’s release of Ribbon Dies and the Wine Sampler stamp set. I cannot stop giggling at this card, and I’m the one who made it! Is that wrong? ๐Ÿ™‚ !

The Wine Sampler has an array (and bountiful!) set of sentiments! “Let’s Giggle”– โค that sentiment!

Oh my goodness! I swear, I put glasses on anything and I’m a puddle of goo! ๐Ÿ™‚ Just the cutest!ย  These glasses are from the Pineapple 2 Die. The cute little trees themselves are Paper Smooches Evergreen Dies. And the little star is from the Super Star Dies. Super Star! (I can never resist saying that Mary Catherine Gallagher style. ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

I die cut the trees from solid cardstock and patterned paper and pieced them together. I added some Distress Ink to create a little blotted background before adding the trees, their googley eyes, and their accoutrements. ๐Ÿ™‚ Gah! โค how this makes me ๐Ÿ™‚ !

Be sure to check out my Paper Smooches Pep Rally post HERE and follow our January Release Hop! Prizes to be had and lots of sneaks on the new goodies!

Take care- Jill ๐Ÿ™‚

For my card today, I used the soon-to-be-released Embroidery Hoop Die!! I also used the new Stitched Circle Die for making the inside rainbow! You are going to love them too… just sayin’ ๐Ÿ˜‰

The Embroidery Hoop Die works swimmingly with the new Stitched Circle Die. I cannot tell you how excited I was that Kim designed these new dies! They are so awesome to combine paper crafting and stitching! I just die cut a bunch of these circles and take them with me to stitch. Love that!

Honestly, I stitched this up just like I make a card. No real plan or sketch, I just start out with an idea in my head, and hope something shakes out. I counted from the center and crossed my fingers! If you found patterns online or in books, you could make this even more fantastic, but I just started stitching. Fortunately, I thought the result was sweet. ๐Ÿ™‚ If I did it again, I may have not stitched in that HELLO (?). ๐Ÿ™‚

I also enjoy this Embroidery Hoop die as just a frame on a card. AND these cross-stitch dies make my favorite embossed backgrounds! Just the perfect amount of interest and texture.

Next stop on our Paper Smooches Pep Rally Hop:ย  Karin Akesdotter! ๐Ÿ™‚ I seriously cannot wait to see what Karin stitched up with these goodies. She has such an amazing eye!

Thanks for stopping in today! Be sure to hop and leave comments for a chance to win a Paper Smooches prize!! Hooray for fun prizes!

All the new goodies will be releasing Wednesday, January 3rd! So save that gifted money, and be ready! ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope to have some more stitched cards completed by then! ๐Ÿ™‚

Stay warm and take care- Jill ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank You Notes

Happy Almost Christmas! Just popping in to share a couple *Thank You* notes. One I made back in the fall and forgot to share, and this holiday one I made last night. Because: Crafty therapy! ๐Ÿ™‚

Eeeeep is this the cutest little sleigh full or what? ๐Ÿ™‚ I used Avery Elle’s Sledding Critters and the coordinating die HERE. For the background I blended on Cracked Pistachio Oxide ink. โค

I usedย Copic Markers to color these cuties and added Glossy Accents, Wink of Stella, and some Nuvo drops. So fun! I โค THIS stamp from Avery Elle, so naturally this is the winter counterpart ๐Ÿ˜‰ . (Check out a card I made with the Birthday Bus stamp/die HERE!)

Next up, I made the Thank You card below using THIS unique stamp from Concord & 9th. They always have some clever goods over there! ๐Ÿ™‚ Many Thanks Turnabout Stamp! Hooray!

<<
you can tell by the pumpkin in the pic, I made this back in the Fall, so it has more of an autumn feel.

<<
lso used Concord &ย  9th’s Many Thanks dies to create the focal point speech bubble. I have always been a HUGE fan of speech bubbles, and this one is large and FUN! ๐Ÿ™‚

Ok, that is all from me today! I had a busy day of laundry, baking and family fun! More to do on all that tomorrow too!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a Happy Christmas All!ย  Jill ๐Ÿ™‚

Let’s Chill!

Are you Christmas ready?! The jury is still out here! ๐Ÿ™‚

Today, I’m here to share a fun wintery little Paper Smooches card using the new Let’s Chill die and the new Ribbon Dies. I also used one of my favorite winter goodies, the previously released sweet little PS Mitten Die. ๐Ÿ™‚

I die cut the mitten from white and silver sparkle paper to inlay the stitches. I added some Distress Ink to the background and a fun pink Ribbon to the cuff. Eeeep it turned out so wintery and sweet! ๐Ÿ™‚

Have an awesomely cozy holiday weekend, friends! ๐Ÿ™‚

Take care- Jill ๐Ÿ™‚

Let’s Celebrate! It’s Friday!

Happy Friday Night! I am a little late on the uptake today. It has been A WEEK. Phew. So glad to see it end!

Today I’m sharing a card that uses the new Paper Smooches Wine Dies! I thought it would be fun to use them as a stencil, so I die cutย  and used the negative to blend some ink on. These dies are great for so many occasions!

Let’s Celebrate! It’s Friday!

I believe that bubbles come out of wine bottles, so I added those. Haaa! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I also used the new Wine Sampler for this fun sentiment and the little “Cheers” on the bottles.

I blended Distress Ink on in Picked Raspberry, Shaded Lilac, Squeezed Lemonade, and Mustard Seed.

Hope your weekend is grand! I’ll hope for my 2017 nap to finally come through! It’s a long shot, but fingers crossed! ๐Ÿ™‚

Take care- Jill ๐Ÿ™‚

Technique Tuesday FUN!

Welcome to a new week! Monday should definitely be optional–who’s with me?!

This new sentiment is from the latest Technique Tuesday Sassy set called Sassy Days! These are definitely some of my favorite sets! I laugh every time I get them and itch to use every single one. Teri is so good! ๐Ÿ™‚

I paired it with the previously released Greenhouse Society set Sweet Succulents. Love the little hen and chick stamps!

Next up, is this AWESOME new die, By the Numbers! This truly makes the quickest work of a birthday card! For this card, I just used a bunch of scrap blocks and glued it to a piece of copy paper. Then Iย  die cut it and voila! Super easy, super quick, and super impact! I need to do a bunch of these so I’m actually ready for birthdays vs. scrambling! ๐Ÿ˜‰

(The sentiment is from the Smirthday Set. โค !)

Then, there are the turtles!!! Love me a cute little turtle! ๐Ÿ™‚ This new TT set is called: Turtle Trio! It’s the latest release in the Animal House line.ย  There are coordinating dies HERE. I used the Turtles and the By the Numbers for a cute belated birthday card. That little turtle is my FAVE! ๐Ÿ™‚

I colored the turtles with Copic Markers and heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock.

Eeeeeep! So cute!

I have a “few” turtles on my desk still, but I used another to create this card in the conjunction with the new Current Events stamp set and the new On the Calendar dies. Love how the upside down turtle was perfecto for this sentiment.

I just added some embossed lines to the panel with my scoring board. Quick and easy! Love doing that often. ๐Ÿ™‚

And of course, I just had to do a quick tag to use another Sassy Days stamp. I figured I could add this to a card soon and pop it in the mail to a friend. ๐Ÿ™‚ Well, there you have it! Lots of new fun things fromย Technique Tuesday today! They can be found HERE!

I wasn’t sure if I’d get around to another blog post this month, so I figured I’d share them all at once! ๐Ÿ™‚ December is flying CRAZY fast, isn’t it?

Thanks for stopping by and happy holiday crafting!!

Take care- Jill ๐Ÿ™‚
