Hi All! I wanted to share a card I finished late last night using my Daily Marker 30 Day project. I always love Kathy’s challenge and I’m really trying to use all the things I color this time–sooner than later!
I love this little My Favorite Nut set from Neat & Tangled (and dies). I also used N & T’s stencil, Polygon. I also need to point out that this is the third card I’ve made this month using purple! Likely more purple than I used in all of 2017. Haaaaaa! Putting out that olive branch, I tell ya! 🙂 I used Distress Oxide Inks for the mix: Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, and Wilted Violet.
Oh and the “forever” is from THIS Neat & Tangled set.
I colored these cuties with Copic Markers. I added some N&T sequin confetti to this card too. You can find similar ones HERE. 🙂
Take care! Jill 🙂
Are you ready for the weekend? I am! Though I have lots to do, so I probably shouldn’t be–haaaaa!
Today I’m sharing a card using the NEW Paper Smooches Tiny Stars! OH my stars! I love how festive this shaker turned out! 🙂 You cannot beat having this little die around for stars o’plenty!
For the frame I used Paper Smooches Postage Stamp dies. The background is the new Stitched Square Die. (I dry embossed that. Those dies are probably my favorite for doing embossing! Perfect texture 🙂 ) The Hello is another favorite die from PS (Layered Hello Die), because you can use just one *hello* or layer it! 😉
I hope you have had a minute to check out all the new stitching dies from Paper Smooches!
Also, be sure to pop over to the Paper Smooches Blog and check out Kim’s wonderfully exciting news about her family’s new adventure! I’m so very happy for her! ❤ ❤
Hope your weekend is AWESOME! Jill 🙂
Happy Wednesday! I’m back to share a card I made with the NEW Paper Smooches JANUARY 2018 release. The new stitching dies are just such fun to mix up your media in cardmaking! 🙂
Once again, I just started stitching this. I wasn’t intending on making a snowflake, but that’s where it landed! I just find the center of the circle and go for it. I love stitching and did a lot of it in the past, but I just made up this pattern and the stitches. If you are an avid stitcher, my stitching may be like nails on a chalkboard? LOL! But, that’s the fun in it for me. I always cross my fingers it turns out. Haaaa!
Be sure to check out all the new stitching dies from Paper Smooches
! The Design Team really made amazing things this month (as always!) and they are so worth seeing
Thanks for stopping by today!
Stay warm- Jill 🙂
I’m popping in to share a few cards I made with Technique Tuesday’s newly released, A Little Prickly Stamp set and dies. Eeeep! Cacti are so fun to make cards with, especially when then gain eyes! Haaaa! 🙂
I colored these fun cacti with Copic Markers and added some googley eyes, of course. 🙂
This one below is going to a crafty friend! How cute is that little cactus!? ❤ “She” might be my fave of the bunch..shhhhh. 🙂
I also used the Memo Pad die to put this cutie on some patterned paper. Once I started putting googley eyes on them, I couldn’t stop.
For the card below, I used Technique Tuesday’s Clipboard die and brushed on some Oxide Ink,. I also added some silver sparkly stars that I die cut from the Shooting Star Crafting die.
These were definitely fun to make. I need to color up some more Cacti! They make cute cards quick, especially if you color them in advance! Love that!
Be sure to check out the rest of the Technique Tuesday release HERE! Especially the Love Stinks. 😉 It’s super fun and has an awesome price point!
Hope your week starts out fabulously!! 🙂
Take care- Jill 🙂
Hope you are enjoying a great weekend!
I wanted to share these two cards I made using these cute foxes I colored with Copic Markers for The Daily Marker’s 30 Day Challenge.
I could not enjoy these little Neat and Tangled Merry Kisses (and dies HERE) foxes more! I have been trying to get my crafty little hands on these cuties for months! LOL!
Eeeeep! Adorbs! I just added this photo frame die to an embossed/scored Neenah white panel. I stitched the whole thing down to the card base and done! 🙂
For the next card, I used my red/brown foxes and created a Valentine! ❤
For this card, I used Neat & Tangled’s Geometric Blooms Stencil. Fabulous! I brushed on some Worn Lipstick Oxide and Wilted Violet Oxide ink. Again with the PURPLE! What is going on? Haaaaa! I also used the sentiment from Be My Valentine! ❤ !!
To finish off this card, I added some super fun Neat & Tangled sequins (Thank you again, N&T!) and then some stitching. (These confetti-like sequins are my fave!)
I think that about does it! Hope you have some time to get crafty this month too! 🙂
Take care- Jill 🙂
Good Morning! Happy Saturday!
Today, I am sharing this card I finished late last night using Essentials by Ellen Bear Ware 2. How cute is this little Snowman Bear? Gah! (I thought I had the dies, but I guess not? Ha! So I fussy cut the snowbears out. 😉 )
I colored them last night with Copic Markers for The Daily Marker’s 30 Day Challenge and then popped them on a card. (Check out that Challenge HERE! Kathy is FABULOUS!)
Let me just say, I think this is the most purple I have used in years! LOL! Also, this card is BUSY! It’s a little too busy for me, but I still think it’s too cute to not share. 🙂
For the sentiment on this card, I used EH’s Warm Fuzzies stamp set. (I heat embossed it.) That set is a super fave of mine! ❤
For the background of this card, I used my friend Miriam’s Neat & Tangle stencil, Rice Paddies. There is so much detail on that stencil, it can be used for awesome things! 🙂 I used Wilted Violet Oxide ink. I also stamped the little dots from EH’s Abstract Paint Strokes.
To finish off this card, I added some Neat & Tangled sequins (Thank you, N&T!) and some stitching.
I used all the purples and violets to participate in Ellen Hutson’s Pinsight Challenge! It’s been awhile, so I am happy to participate again–dig the EH Challenges!
Check it out and join in! I think there is still a bunch of time to play along! 🙂
Have a great weekend! Jill 🙂
Happy Freezing Friday here in the Midwest! buuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrr!
Let’s warm it up with some ❤ !
This is Paper Smooches new In Stitches stamp set! It is such a sweet set!
I stamped the LOVE in three different colors, and then die cut some Paper Smooches hearts. I inked those with the same ink pads I stamped with. After that, I finished off the hearts with a little Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents.
I also used my scoring board to create an embossed frame around the words. Then I finished that panel off with some stitching.
I hope you all have a warm and cozy weekend ahead! Be sure to check out the Paper Smooches Blog HERE. I think I saw a giveaway? Wink wink 😉
Take care- Jill 🙂
Hooray for the weekend! 🙂
Last night I had just enough time to get a quick card made. Monday is back to school here, and it is going to get ugly round these parts! My son is going to be in extreme denial! 🙂 So I made him a card for his lunchbox, to soften the blow midday. It’s not going to work, but it can’t hurt. Haaaa!
My son has a chameleon and he loves apples, so I went with that! 🙂
This little chameleon was a Lawn Fawn goodie offered around Thanksgiving. I obviously needed to grab one! 🙂 I did not get the die however, so I just fussy cut him out. 🙂
The background I used is from the fabulous Ellen Hutson set, Wonky Backdrops. Love that set.
Other supplies: Lawn Fawn Thanks a Bushel stamp and die, Lawn Fawn Jet Black (Copic friendly) Ink, Versafine Black, Hero Arts Ombre ink pad, Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, Copic Markers, and a White Gel Pen.
I thought I’d enter this for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: Fun with Food! I love to partake in challenges, as I think it’s great creative exercise! 🙂 There is still over a week to join in the fun, so check it out! Lots of yummy cute to check out there! 🙂
Have a great weekend and STAY WARM!
Take care! Jill 🙂
The NEW Paper Smooches JANUARY 2018 goodies released the other day! Whoohoooo! You can check out all the products HERE!
For my card below, I thought I’d mix it up by embossing the new Stitched Square die and filling in the dots with Copic Markers! I’m not sure this photo does it justice though. 🙂
I think the winter light really got me that day, but in person, these are a bit more colorful! 🙂I also used Paper Smooches Awesome die! I doubled up the die cut and adhered it to my card. I finished this off with a little stitching. Voila! 🙂
These new dies from Paper Smooches are sure to have endless possibilities! ❤️ them!! Such fun to use and create so many different things. Check them out HERE and see what the rest of the Design Team made with them–seriously, WOW!! 🙂
Stay warm and Awesome! Happy Friday! Jill 🙂
Happy 2018!! I hope you are ready to rock a fun year ahead! 🙂
I’m popping in tonight to share a few cards I made with Technique Tuesday’s newly released, Love Stinks set. OK. I might enjoy this set a little too much, but come on, how stinkin’ fun is this!? 🙂
Eeeeep! I cannot tell you how much this cracks me up! 🙂
And then of course, I had to make two…for good measure and for practicing to color that cute little smiling pile! 🙂
I also used some patterned paper!! Hey hey! Off to a good start here in 2018 using some stash! I’m hoping to widdle my PP even further so I can invest in some new pads by 2019? Hmmm. 🙂
Along with those fun stamps, is this TP roll. I was cracking up when I saw it! 🙂 That’s How I Roll. I die. 🙂 ❤ it!
Some sparkle on these adds a little more interest in person. 🙂
I kept all these cards very simple, using some Copic Markers, Wink of Stella, Glossy Accents, Confetti sequins, Nuvo dots and twine, before adding some finishing stitching with my sewing machine. I’m thinking my husband will get a laugh and I love sending some smiles in the mail! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your New Year is a FABULOUS one! 🙂
Take care- Jill 🙂
