Day TWO of Technique Tuesday’s April Release Countdown! This is a fun smile to drop in the mail. 🙂
Today, I am sharing the new Animal House set called Parker & Penny Pig Clear Stamps. There are coordinating dies available for them HERE too! (These links will work when the products are available tomorrow, April 1st!)
How funny is that? This also uses a new sentiment from the Planner set releasing tomorrow called Planner Beauty. I thought the little pig wanted to treat himself. 🙂
For this card, I simply stamped and colored these images with Copic Markers, added some splats and some simple stitching. All simple, once I discarded two other goes, trying to paper piece the pigs, etc. Haaaaa! Oh, the process is what makes it all fun. 🙂
Be sure to check out the NEW products from Technique Tuesday HERE! (The new products shown above will be available via those links tomorrow, April 1st! 🙂
(If you missed my post yesterday, click HERE to head over there and see those fun new goodies too!)
I’ll catch you back here again tomorrow for RELEASE DAY and another card!
Thanks for stopping by! Jill 🙂
Happy Friday! Today we are showing Day One of the Technique Tuesday countdown to the new release! It’s another lovely release with a few laughs in the mix, of course. 🙂
My card uses a super sweet new sentiment and some fantastically bold flowers!
I colored these flowers with Copic Markers. Yes, that is indeed purple. 😉 Voluntary use of purple. I should maybe check my temperature again? 🙂 Ha! For the background, I blended on some Distress Oxide Inks and added some splats. This one is already en route to my Grandmother. ❤
These two new sets are called: Grandma Blessings Clear Stamps and Flowers For Her Clear Stamps. (Links available once the release goes live on April 1st.)
Be sure to check out the NEW products from Technique Tuesday HERE! (Again, these new products above will be available via those links on April 1st!)
And follow the new release over at the Technique Tuesday Blog HERE! You can link to all the other Design Team members goodness there too–NOT to be missed!

When I see a Rainbow Challenge, I just have to jump in! 🙂
The current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge is just that–check it out HERE. Check out the fun image of inspiration:Eeeep! Love it! Rainbows. Glowing Candles. Hence my card of rainbow-ed glowing light bulbs! 🙂
For this card, I used Lawn Fawn’s new Lights Out and the sentiment from the new adorable Little Fireflies. Adorable! Looking forward to making them glow in the dark for my son on a future card. 🙂
I white heat embossed these cuties on watercolor paper and watercolored them with Distress Inks. I was on a roll last night. 🙂 I do ❤ smiling things!
Be sure to check out the challenge and join in HERE! Fun fun!
Have a great week!
Take care– Jill 🙂
Have you seen this month’s Pin-Sights Challenge over on Ellen Hutson? It’s good. Let me show you:
oooooooo so fun! I have been wanting to play along and finally got around to feeling good and made one last night. 🙂
Here’s my card:
How cute are these guys, weathering the storm? ❤
I made this card using Ellen Hutson’s super cute sets: Totally Random Sayings Vol. 1 by Julie Ebersole, Bear Ware (and dies) Bear Ware 2 (and dies). I also used Neat & Tangled’s Geometric Blooms stencil to add a smidge of background.
I watercolored these images with Distress Inks and added some stitching. 🙂
I hope you have time to jump in on this current EH Challenge too! I’d love to sneak another one in, but that could be a pipe dream. Ha!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Take care– Jill 🙂
Happy Sunday! Hope your weekend has been great thus far! I’m still waiting to get back to my normal self, with some energy and feeling good, but in the meantime, thought I’d share a few cards I made a couple of weeks back.
These stamps were gifted to us at our recent retreat from Pinkfresh Studio–-Thank You! Such fun! I am particularly a fan of this sweet set called Party Animal. I thought I’d attempt a bold, but speedy birthday card and it worked out swimmingly! 🙂
First I pieced together three panels of different colored scraps and then die cut the frame around it for continuity. I then stamped out my images for a fun little party! 🙂
These next two cards I had to make using the Rainbow in the set Dream On. I always love a rainbow! 🙂 Pssssst…. I see you can grab this Dream On set for a super deal right now! Wow!
For these, I stamped, Copic colored, and fussy cut out all the images. I added them to THIS awesome Reverse Confetti tag, Sunburst Tag Layer. I added sequins as a shaker to the one, but I wasn’t convinced I completely loved that, so I kept the other one more simple. The jury is out on which I like better overall? 🙂
I made these for some crafty friends! Hope it brightens their mailboxes! ❤
Have an awesome week ahead! Enjoy!
Take care! Jill 🙂
It’s been another busy week and another survival of the stomach flu. I’m glad it’s Friday! Hooray!
I’m popping in today sharing another super fun Paper Smooches card. 😉 I just ❤ how this came out using Paper Smooches sets: Promenade and dies, Bitty Bunglalows and dies and the sentiment is from New Beginnings 2. I colored all the elements with Copic Markers and die cut them all out.
For this card, I just masked off a section of the panel and blended on some Distress Oxide inks. I’m not a big purple person, but my goal was to use it a few times this year, and I think I’ve now met that goal and can quit. Haaaaa! But seriously, I thought this turned out fun!
Such a perfect card to send a friend for her new adventure! ❤
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
We are now prepping for April–wow! But have you seen all the new March Technique Tuesday products available HERE!? Fun fun!
It’s no secret that I always adore the Technique Tuesday Sassy sentiments stamp sets. This month, the new set is: Sassy Love Your Guts. And the coordinating dies for this stamp set are HERE.
Bwaaahahaaaa! So funny! 🙂
I made this card before I had the dies, but I love the Black and White simplicity ❤ .
You can check out another fun card I made and shared HERE previously. I love sending funny cards!
Thanks for stopping by again today!
Take care–Jill 🙂
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
I made this card for my son to celebrate today, and I thought I’d pop in quick to share it! 🙂 Such fun!
I colored these little Lawn Fawn cuties back during the Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge, and I’m so glad I did! Because they were just ready to go! 🙂
I’m pretty sure he’s going to ❤ it! 🙂 I’m not sure why I have all these white gel pen blips everywhere, but I must have done that one night in a daze, because it makes me go hmmmmm now! Haaaa!
For this card I used Lawn Fawn’s: You’re Clawsome, and coordinating dies HERE. I used on of my favorite Lawn Fawn Alphabet sets, Milo’s ABCs. This LF Claire’s ABC’s is another good one. 🙂 I also used Lawn Fawn Jet Black (Copic friendly) Ink, and a White Gel Pen. The patterned paper is Lawn Fawn’s Perfectly Plaid Rainbow. ❤
Hope your weekend is a lucky one!
Take care! Jill 🙂
Happy day to you! Today I’m sharing a Toadally fun Paper Smooches card. 😉 I kept this card VERY simple, which is both easy and difficult. I’m sure you can relate if you make cards too.
How fun are these dudes?! I stamped and masked and stamped and masked. I colored them all with Copic Markers in very slightly different ways and added some Glossy Accents to their spots to polish them off before stitching them on.
I thought it would be fun to add a punny sentiment, of course. For this card, the little toads are from A Little Lovin, the *Toadally*is from the great punny set Critter Card Puns and the *dude* is from Slang Gang…. Slang Gang was one of my first Paper Smooches sets and it still gets a lot of <3.
Be sure to follow the Paper Smooches Blog for lots of inspiration on how to you mix and match your Paper Smooches stash! I’ve really been enjoying using all the things! 🙂
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great weekend! Happy St. Pat’s!
Hope you all are having a great week thus far!
I’m popping in to share this card I made with Lil’ Inker’s NEW Release yesterday! This new die is called: So Very Kind Greeting Die. I’m planning to use this a lot as a Thank You card die. I would love it in rainbow!
I’m not sure how I ended up with this color combo. Ha!! I was making lots of navy thank you cards the other night, and so I think this was on my desk. I needed one in a female version, so I guess I grabbed some bright pink! 🙂
After inlaying the die and all its bits (be sure to keep track of them carefully because there are some small ones 😉 ), I added some scoring lines and stitching to the panel. I then adhered it all backed with fun foam. Such a fun die! 🙂 All in one— ❤ that!
I’m also a big fan of THIS stamp! Check out my card I made with it HERE. Still LOVE love love those stripes! 🙂
Thank you to Lil’ Inker for gifting us these dies and the previously mentioned Ombre Paper pads! ❤ Big fan! 🙂
Thank you for stopping by today–have a great Tuesday! 🙂
Take care– Jill 🙂
