Rerun with Winnie and Walter!

Hi All! I’m excited to share in the fun over on the Winnie & Walter Blog today, HERE.

Last weekend I was crafting my little heart out with some friends, old and new. Great fun! Admittedly, I did not make many cards, but I have lots of pieces to do so now! 😉

Anywho–Winnie and Walter gifted us some very cool products that I cannot wait to use! The best part is I spent the weekend laughing again with Shay  ❤ . Shay is delightful and I adore her sense of humor SO much! 🙂

OK, on with the card for their current Rerun Challenge, yes?

Wow! This Welcome to the Family with Evelin T Designs set is HUGE! So many cute little critters in it and sweet sentiments. AND it’s on SALE! Head over to the W&W Blog for info on that AND a giveaway!

I started with a completely different plan and then ended up with this! 🙂 I also used W&W’s Sketchy Thoughts set. Which, incidentally, might be my favorite Winnie & Walter set of all time.

I used the block stamps and masked off the dimensional part so as to create a frame that I stamped three times, stacking them on each other. I then masked off the “frames” and stamped the bears in those! Cuties! I was loving the black and white, so I refrained from coloring them. I knew it needed something though. Hence, I decided to do more masking with post-it tape and added some Distress Oxide Inks stripes. ( I used THIS W&W stencil, Rugby Stripes this past weekend, and it would be awesome for this!  I need to order one, big time!) I was so happy I didn’t smear it or anything. #sweat ! This could have been a one layer card! But I was already using a panel, so let’s call it a *one off* layer card, shall we? 😉

(Distress Oxide Colors I used: Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, and Fossilized Amber)

Be sure to check out Winnie and Walter’s blog HERE to learn more about this challenge and the discount on ordering this set!  Love when you can save some extra money to use on other sets too! Haaahaaa! 😉 😉

Thank you, Shay, for including me along for this fun! And for all the lovely W&W goodies! Eeeeep! You know the way to a crafty’s heart! ❤

Take care–Jill 🙂

So smart to turn the blocks into a frame! Brilliant idea! And these little bears peeking in are too cute. Just made me chuckle! Seeing all of the cards from our SA group is like one more big group hug. (and the stitching is just showing off in your week of re-entry…just sayin’).

  2. Hey Jill!! What a striking card! Totally jumps off the screen with those bold, happy, colorful stripes. And good call leaving the bears b&w. So graphic and wonderful. Just had to come by and tell you how much I loved it. xo

  3. I didn’t think your card would be anything other than adorable!! Those stripes just completely set the stage for your cutie peek-a-boo bears. Love it but wish we were Stamping Away again this weekend! xoxo
