Grandparents

Yay for all the new April Technique Tuesday products available HERE! I had to make a card with THIS fun new TT flower set called Just Us Girls. This great sentiment is from the very sweet Grandma Blessings Stamps set.

I just enjoy these little whimsy flowers all grouped up together! Such fun! I colored them with Zig Clean Color markers and whipped them into a bit of watercolor. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and foam tape to adhere them. I put a few dollops of clear Nuvo drops to finish it off. I like how bright and cheerful it turned out overall. And then I popped this directly in the mail! πŸ™‚ I hope it arrived swiftly. ❀

I have a few more cards using this Just Us Girls set, but I need to finish them. So we’ll see if I can get those buttoned up to share one day too. πŸ˜‰ We need more hours in the day sometimes, don’t we?!

Thanks for stopping by again today!

Rainbow Wishes

Hope your week is going well! Mine has been jam-packed, but last night, I just had to stamp some color! πŸ™‚ So I made these:

Be You. Be Happy. ❀

I figured, if you are stamping rainbows, STAMP some RAINBOWS in bulk . πŸ˜‰ I stitched each one a little different to mix things up. Loving this stamp set and especially ❀ the sentiments and the font they are in. Gah! πŸ™‚

For all these cards, I used Concord & 9th’s Rainbow Wishes . Ahhhh rainbows. ❀

I added a few scoring lines to the top of this. These were an experiment, and I decided I do not like this broken up look in scoring. But now I know, and I certainly was not going to bin these just because of that little detail. Not tragic. πŸ˜‰

I also stamped envelopes with Concord & 9th’s little stamp set. πŸ™‚

Well, that is all for now! πŸ™‚

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope wherever you live, you are experiencing a nicer Spring season. Haaaa! We are not having typical weather, but rather a continuing winter. Ugh.

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Take care– Jill πŸ™‚

Have a Nice Day!

Happy Friday the 13th to you! I thought this was a fun idea to make a Paper Smooches card with a chicken inside the TV! πŸ™‚ Haaaaa!

I stamped and masked the TV (to stamp the chicken inside) and then colored the TV and chicken with Copic Markers. I cut the flower frame from patterned paper and added some stitching to it and the card base after scoring. Stitching is also the best kind of “glue”! πŸ˜‰Paper Smooches products: Wake Up, Boob Tubes + Dies, Word Bubbles, Flower Frame Dies.

Check out the Paper Smooches Blog for lots of inspiration from the AWESOME Paper Smooches Design Team! πŸ™‚

Thank you for stopping by! Have a NICE weekend! πŸ™‚

Little Hellos

If there is one thing I can always count on to jump start the crafty flow again, it’s a card challenge. I try and participate in them regularly because they are always so enjoyable for me! πŸ™‚

Therefore, this Lawn Fawnatics Challenge worked out swimmingly because I wanted to make a handful of simple fun cards. Boom. Done! πŸ™‚

The current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge is just that–check it out HERE.

This one uses Lawn Fawn’s Aloha stamp set and die. Love. It.

This one uses Lawn Fawn’s Winter Unicorn stamp set (and dies) and the sentiment is from Beam Me Up.

These two cutie Dinos are from Lawn Fawn’s Rawr stamp set and dies.

All these are from Lawn Fawn’s lil’ mini stamp sets and I always ❀ them!Β  πŸ™‚

I colored all these images with Copic Markers (I think I colored all of them for a round of the Daily Marker 30 day challenge? Another reason why I love that challenge–images are ready to go for “someday”!) and stenciled on the heart background (using a negative cut out in my scrap bin.) with Distress Oxide Inks.

Be sure to check out the challenge and join in HERE! Fun fun!

Have a great week!

Hugs

Happiest Friday to you!! πŸ™‚ Today, I’m here to share a fun little ray of sunshine –a sweet little Paper Smooches card. πŸ˜‰

Oh my word–I ❀ the adorableness of this cute little bear hugging duo! I colored them with Copic Markers and die cut them out. I used Distress Inks to blend on color to a white sheet of cardstock before die cutting the Power Rays. The yellow Power Rays are cut from yellow cardstock. I adhered the bears and the die cut letters to the whole number and did some quick stitching. I finished off this sweet card with a few clear Nuvo drops. I like how they take on the background color and looked colored themselves! πŸ™‚

Paper Smooches goodies used: Comforting Hugs + Dies, Power Rays, Sassy Letters Dies.

Be sure to follow the Paper Smooches Blog for lots of inspiration on using all those stamps in your PS stash! Great fun!! πŸ™‚

Thank you for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Yay! Love!

Hola! Thought I’d pop in and freshin’ things up a bit here. I have been busy working on some cards for April and going forward, but wanted to share a quick little cute with you! πŸ™‚

These stamps are from Avery Elle and they are adorable! I thank my friend Amy for letting me borrow them to stamp! πŸ™‚ They are called Party Pals and can be found HERE and their dies HERE.

eeeeeep! Their little squinty faces! πŸ™‚

They are soΒ  sweet, holding their little signs!

I VERY rarely use any accoutrements to decorate my cards, so this was extra fun to pick out a few and work with them (see supply name below). These awesome frames whip up cards so fast! love that!

I used Pink Paislee’s Pick Me Up Patterned Paper and Ephemera. Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine sent these to me for having a card in the recent issue. Have you seen THAT, by the way!!? I am so fortunate to have three cards in this awesome issue! This magazine is has a great layout and flawless writing that you WANT to read! I haven’t submitted since PC&S (RIP) went down, so this is ALL VERY exciting for me!! πŸ™‚ Such fun to hold a REAL MAGAZINE and bonus to find your own cards there in it! Check it out online OR pick up a hard copy at Barnes & Noble.

Sooooooo awesome!

I colored everything with Copic markers and and used the Pink Paislee to fill in the rest, adding a little stitching of course. πŸ˜‰

Thanks for stopping by! ❀

Autism Awareness Blog Hop

Hello, and welcome to my stop on this awesome route to shining a light on Autism Awareness. To start at the beginning and not miss a thing, you’ll want to head HERE to Veronica Zalis’s Blog. You can find out all the details about the hop, making a card, the sponsors, prizes, etc. there. Veronica has put together another awesome hop this year and I’m proud to be a part of it. Autism Awareness is especially close to Veronica’s heart and I’m glad I can do a small part in spreading the word and ❀ .

First, I’d like to share a link to Autism Speaks. This hop is a great opportunity for me to read/link to the latest on research and information there, and I thought I’d share it with you too. ❀

Today, I’m sharing two cards. This first one uses Taylored Expressions Autism Awareness set called Look With Your Heart and 25% of the proceeds are being donated to the Autism Society. I’m happy TE reached out to let us obtain this set early and use it today. πŸ™‚ Taylored Expressions is also a sponsor on our hop today and offering a lovely prize. Be sure to read about that! πŸ™‚

I love Taylored Expressions felt! ❀ You should see the tiny little pieces I cut these flowers from. I use every last little smidgen of this stuff up. πŸ™‚ This flower die is Taylored Expressions lil bits die

Goodness, I just adore this sweet sentiment. ❀

Here’s an image of the entire set: Look With Your Heart.

Next up, is this sweet card I made using a new favorite die from Technique Tuesday called Pieces of My Heart . Technique Tuesday is also sponsoring today’s hop and offering a great prize too. Be sure to check that out on the TT Blog HERE. πŸ™‚

For this, I blended on some Distress Oxide ink and scored the base panel to give it some texture. I then added the Heart and lovely awesome sentiment from the stamp set Being Unique.

I just ❀ this sentiment so. Gah! πŸ˜‰

Thank you to Veronica for all her hard work to get the hop organized and to the amazing sponsors for taking part! Again, be sure to head to Veronica’s Blog HERE to start from the beginning! πŸ™‚
