Freshly Made Sketches Guest, #338 :)

Happy Wednesday to you! Once again, I’m over contributing with the Freshly Made Sketches crew! this week on a brand new sketch! Be sure to check out their great challenge blog HERE for lots of inspiration!

And here is this week’s sketch:

And here’s my card–perfect for a teacher! 🙂

I die cut all the bits from different colored cardstocks and also from cork paper. Love that texture it gives to the pencil tip. 🙂  I added some reverse scoring to the panel and finished it all off with some stitching. ❤

This pencil is a super favorite of mine from PaperSmooches, appropriately called Pencil Dies. The sentiment is from a retired stamp set (Bosom Buddy), but I think this Many Thanks set can be used as substitute very smoothly, with lots of choices!

Crafty hugs to the FMS team, who has been so kind to me this month! Thank you, Ladies! 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Take care– Jill 🙂

  1. Oh this card is just so fantastic! I love those pencils and the cork…they look so real! Love the stitching too and of course that sentiment!!!

Jill… wow! Love your pencil card… the small touches are gorgeous, e.g., cork, silver glitter paper, coloring!
