Welcome to Day TWO of Technique Tuesday’s October Release Countdown! Today’s is as fun as yesterday’s!
Today I used the VERY soon to be released Bow on the Border Die. This bow is so bold it really holds a card all on its own—fabulousness! It’s great for the holidays, but I think I like it more for anytime of the year! 🙂 The sentiment is from the new String of Lights Stamp Set. (*Links will work when the new products are released tomorrow, October 1st)
I die cut the bow on the border of a panel and inlaid the patterned paper, tying a gift tag on. I was intending to make a birthday card, but then this red and white striped card happened and then it became about the holidays. ❤
Be sure to check out the NEW product from Technique Tuesday HERE! (The new product shown above will be available via the link tomorrow, October 1st! 🙂

Today we are showing Day One of the Technique Tuesday countdown to the new October release! Oh happy day! 🙂
Today I am sharing a FAVE of mine from the NEW String of Lights Stamp Set colored with colored pencils. Holiday lights are one of my favorite iconic images for the holidays and I was sooooo happy to see these new stamps!! (Links will work on October 1st, release day.) I have another card to share another day with these cute lights.
I colored the lights with colored pencils. I haven’t used my pencils in a long while, so I fear my skills are needing to be dusted off. Not completely loving how this card ended up, now that I see it in a photo. But that’s half the fun: Improving and practice! LOVE these lights!!

Happy Friday! Today I have this cute little Paper Smooches card to share….This cracks me up!! 🙂 I hope it makes you smile too.
I really adore this little snowgirl and then I added the giant glasses to her and could not stop giggling! 🙂
I cut the little Notebook die and added some watercolor and spatters to it. I then die cut the cutie little snowman with all the different colored cardstocks and pieced those together. I stamped the sentiment, added the stitching and adhered it all together.
I mean, this has to brighten a mailbox one day, right? I can’t wait til winter so I can mail it. Or maybe not even winter? We’ll see how long I can hold on to it. 😉

Welcome to an extra fun day of Holiday Hopping fun with Technique Tuesday!
Technique Tuesday released NEW Holiday products
in September and August and we are all celebrating with a mini Christmas
blog hop today
! TT will be releasing more Christmas products in October and November. LOOK OUT! Some of my favorites are already out and the rest are coming along quick!! Hint: October. Wink wink. And well, November. ha! You can find all the available sets HERE
For my super cutie little bird cards below, I used Technique Tuesday’s adorable Christmas Birds
set! There are also coordinating dies HERE
I colored everything with Copic Markers and to the above card, I added snow drops with Nuvo white drops. It’s so snowy!! Funny because I made this card while I was sweating. LOL! 🙂
For this card, I also colored with Copic Markers and die cut out the pieces. I masked some stripes on the card panel and splattered with some paint. I stamped the sentiment, added some washi and finished it off with some stitching. Love this little bird!! 🙂And of course, because this is about the Holidays AND about fun, Technique Tuesday is offering up a Prize! They’ll give a Technique Tuesday gift certificate to someone who comments during this mini hop on one of our stops. Comments will be taken until September 20th. The winner will be announced on the Technique Tuesday blog on September 22nd..

This card has perfect timing, as I have been quite overwhelmed these last few weeks. August is the new September, but September is looking equally as crazy.
I just love these little organs on this Paper Smooches card. 🙂
They just make me smile with their sweetness!
I colored them with Copic markers and added them to a stenciled background that I created with a negative die cut.

Thank you for stopping by! Hope you have a relaxing weekend!
September is a month of many things, and one of the fantastic things is: STAMPtember from Simon Says Stamp!
I have the good pleasure of sharing this new stamp set: Birthday Numbers!! Well, perfect timing as our son has his big #8 coming up in September!! He’ll get a kick out of this one. 🙂
How awesome are these big bold numbers!? I thought this one would like to smile and float! 🙂
I masked & stamped these images all out. Then I colored them with Copic Markers and then masked them off again with Post-its to add the background clouds. I covered the balloons in clear Nuvo. I think I prefer Glossy Accents for this type of application, but I was lucky to just find the Nuvo. LOL.
Fabulousness! There are coordinating dies HERE that you can also use to create with. I think they’d make personalized birthday cards a snap.
Next up, I thought it would be fun to paper piece a “7”:
And of course, the seven wanted some big eyes too! 🙂
For this card, I used a lot of patterned paper, but mostly the stamps make it the party card that it is! So fun!
Be sure to check out the SSS Blog HERE to get in on all the prize action, links, and PARTY!! 🙂
Thanks for Simon Says Stamp for having me along to celebrate this release! ❤
Check out ALL the STAMPtember goodies HERE!
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your STAMPtember!
Today is the day for all the new Technique Tuesday September products to be available HERE!
For this card, I used the new Technique Tuesday dies: Amazing Arrows Stamp Set. The die set has five different arrows in it, so get Cupid ready for Valentine’s Day! 🙂 The “love you” die cut sentiment is from the Lovely Lavender dies. So sweet!
I thought it would be fun to line up all the arrows on some rainbow paper and then stitch them down. I added the “love you” as the perfect sentiment for the card.
Be sure to head over the Technique Tuesday Blog HERE so you can check out all the DT’s projects. Sure to be fun to see!
