Stitching Thanks

Happy Friday! I’m here today sharing a Paper Smooches card I stitched. First, let me say that my cursive is a bit rusty–Ha! So my stitches are a wee bit off. You can see the Design Team’s cards HERE, and they have more skills in the cursive department! Haaaaa!! (Don’t tell my third grade teacher! πŸ˜‰ )

Of course, I still think it is a sweet card, I’m just off a couple of stitches. πŸ˜‰ I kept it very simple so the stitching could shine. I added a couple of little hearts for some ❀ and some simple sewing . (I used a green DMC floss for the Thanks.)

The Paper Smooches stitching dies are just delightful and I love that they give cards a different kind of flare. Plus, when I’m organized ahead of time, I like to take them with me and stitch them on the go. Besides coloring, I can’t really haul all the card making stuff along anywhere, so I love this! πŸ˜‰

You Are Amazing!

Happy Wednesday to you! I thought I’d pop in with a quick post to share a fun Taylored ExpressionsΒ card I made! This stencil and this blend makes me say oooooooo! πŸ™‚

This new Folk Art Tulip Stencil is a new favorite of mine–so enjoyable! And after I made this card, I was thinking, I should have made 6 or 7 of them! ❀

The colors of this are so Spring like to me and the timing is perfect because I feel like we might finally be turning a page here. Fingers crossed. I also super love this sentiment. ❀

I love how crisp this turned out in the end. Anytime masking is involved and doesn’t *leak*, I am always excited about that! πŸ™‚ I added some stitching to finish it all off.

Stitched Heart

Happy Weekend–Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I’m off a couple of days on sharing my Paper Smooches card this week. I was out-of-town last weekend having lots of crafty fun and have been catching up ever since!!Β  πŸ™‚ SO worth it though! ❀

Well, I adore the Paper Smooches stitching dies, and this new batch is no exception, for sure!

I decided this one didn’t even need a sentiment, because the stitched heart says it all! I used the recently released Flaunters dies to give it a center frame and stitched the lower portion on. I added everything on to a scored the panel. That heart just makes me smile! I cannot wait to make more of these!! πŸ™‚

One TE Product, Three Ways

Good Morning–I hope you are having a great week! We are dealing with the time change and the mornings are now dark again, which is rough. πŸ™‚

Anywho–I’m here today to share a few Taylored ExpressionsΒ cards! Our Design Team challenge was to pick something and use it Three Ways–So naturally, I chose the Christmas Tree Stacklets. Haaaaa!

This first one might be my favorite, because I love to rainbow everything! It’s usually a big win in my book! And I love geometric cards, so this card checks all the boxes!

The Triangles all came together flawlessly and then I die cut the whole thing with the Petite Scalloped frame, before adding the *Hello* die cut and stitching. ❀

Next up, this card showcases the Stacklets as windows! I love these little cuties poking out of them!

I foiled the background of this panel. If you have ever tried photographing a foiled card, you know how tricky it can be! But I did the best I could to get a decent photo and I just smile at the fun of the whole thing! It feels very *Go Team*!

Last, but most certainly not least, I used the whole stacklet die to cut out triangles before mixing them up and piecing them allllll back together.

I thought I’d mix it up with a little funky color combo and using Blue Corn vs. Oreo. I love the Blue Corn color, so I try to sneak that in as an Oreo substitute whenever I can. πŸ˜‰

I added some stitching to finish this card off, and I just love how it turned out! πŸ™‚ I did forget to glue the little tittle about the *i* on though….shhhhh πŸ™‚

I hope you enjoy these ideas to rethink all the supplies you have in your stash! As you can see, you’d never really connect Christmas to this die set, seeing these cards! I’m a huge fan of stretching our supplies, and I loved creating these three cards!

Check out the my supplies below and the Taylored Expressions Β Blog HERE,Β as I know they are sharing lots of projects with this Three Way idea! The TE Design Crew is amazing! πŸ™‚

Some Bunny…

Happy Weekend to you! I thought I’d pop in with a quick post sharing a cutie lil’ Taylored Expressions card!

This card cracks me up!! The little On A Hinge chick with swinging legs is enough to giggle, but then add some bunny ears from Flip the Script-Bunny Tag… gah! ❀

I colored this little guy with Copic Markers.

I’m pretty sure my son is going to get a kick out of this guy and his swinging legs! πŸ™‚

Water You Up To?!

Happy Friday! Today, I’m sharing my Paper Smooches card that I just say eeeek too! Love these new Paper Smooches critters!!  πŸ™‚

I cannot get enough of Paper Smooches little critters–ever! And the sentiments? Water You Up To? I just ❀ !! So enjoyable! πŸ™‚

For this, I blended on some Distress Oxide inks and ink splats before I put my cute little critters colored with Copic Markers on. I added some scoring to the panel and then partially die cut it for a fun little window. The sentiment, some confetti sequins, and some stitching polished it all off. ❀
