Heartfelt Condolences

Happy Friday to you! Hope you had a great week! Today, I’m here to share a NEW ย Paper Smooches card! It is one of those cards I don’t enjoy making, so it’s best to make these ahead.

I wanted to create a soft and simple sympathy card, and the new Stemmed Roses die makes that smooth sailing. I combined this with the lovely Fab Frames die and found that was all I really needed. ๐Ÿ™‚

I added a simple cloud background and some stitching to complete the card.

Paper Smooches goodies: Stemmed Roses die, Fab Frames,ย Sympathy Sampler.

Thanks so much for stopping by–have a wonderful weekend! And don’t forget to check out the Paper Smooches Blog!

Happy Birthday!

Poppin’ in this fabulous Friday to share a NEW Paper Smooches card! This might be the most chic card I have ever made! ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it is such a pretty flower and I especially love that it is in a vessel, so I didn’t have to figure out to what to put it in! ๐Ÿ™‚ This stamp is from the NEW Rosy Posy Stamp set. So pretty!! โค

I colored this with Copic markers and die cut it out. I added the sentiment to the banner die and a Flaunters circle to ground it all.

This is not only feminine but also purple. I officially do not know who I am anymore. ๐Ÿ™‚

Paper Smooches goodies: Rosy Posy stamps and Rosy Posy icon dies, Flaunters, Bannerific Dies, and All Year Cheer.

Thanks so much for stopping by–have a wonderful weekend! Hope the big bunny brings you a chocolate egg! Don’t forget to check out the Paper Smooches Blog for all the latest!

Crafty Friends Stick Together!

Happy Sunday! It is actually SNOWING here in Chicago, so I thought I’d pop in and share a couple cards. I made a bunch of cards on a crafty retreat last month, and have yet to share them. So here’s two today!

This little set from Hello Sweetums is just adorable!! And so very perfect for crafty friends! It’s called Crafty Companions and I was happy to get to use it that weekend! ๐Ÿ™‚ Because: Adorable! โ˜บ๏ธ

This little card makes smile!! ๐Ÿ™‚

And here’s another card–the sentiment isn’t as fitting here, but I just love that sentiment! Had we never seen the sticky card above, it would probably be just fine, right? ๐Ÿ™‚ Ha!!

Thank you to Hello Sweetums for sharing your cute stamps for us to use! I have another little set I can’t wait to stamp here at home! โค

Thanks for stopping by! See you later this week ๐Ÿ™‚

Blossoms & Butterflies NEW Release from SSS!

There is a New Release available over at Simon Says Stamp HERE. It’s called Blossoms & Butterflies! I used the new Mesh Stencil.

I love stencils because you can do so much free wheeling with them! ๐Ÿ™‚

For these cards, I also used SSS sentiments and dies: You’re Doing Awesome die, Love Messages, and Loving Heart. I blended a few different Distress Oxide inks on each card after masking off and area.

I call this photo series, my urban series–ha!! I made these late last night and had to photo on my commute to work this morning :). Figured I’d make hay! I did get some odd looks ๐Ÿ˜‰.

This card, I stitched in the white rows of the stencil. It’s very difficult to see in this photo though. I masked this sentiment to just use the first part–I thought this sentiment was fun and different to use for a fellow volunteer friend. โ™ฅ๏ธ

Thanks to Simon Says Stamp for having me along to celebrate their latest release! Can’t wait to see all the other new goodies!

Thanks for stopping by!

Take care–Jill

The Cutest Video Hop Ever!

Helllllllooooo and welcome to our stop on The Cutest Video Hop Ever!ย  My son and I are VERY excited and grateful to be joining Emily Leiphart for this fun hop, inspiring the next generation of crafters!ย  We hope you have as much fun watching us craft with our kids–or in my case, watching my son craft! Ha!

Thanks so much to our very generous sponsors who have donated over 30 prizes for this hop. Sit back and enjoy!

My only contribution to his card was stamping and diecutting all the critters for him. You’ll be able to tell, he handled all the rest (and then some) himself. He REALLY likes to chat and has SO MUCH to say. Believe it or not, I actually trimmed this WAY down. Unfortunately or fortunately, you will miss out on all the banter about restaurants, allergies, Minecraft, 2nd Grade, etc. But you will learn about Spring, Dog Man, half birthdays, bees, snails, extra teeth and so much other goodness. I do love him so! โค

Please note: I do not make videos. For those who do, I always admire you because it take a great deal of time to do an amateur version, I can’t imagine completing a finessedย version! ๐Ÿ™‚ โค

Here is our video โค :

Here is a list of the awesome guests on this hop!

Be sure to check out Emily’s YouTube Channel.ย Thanks again, Emily! โค It takes an amazing amount of time and effort and it is so worth it to see the kids create! ๐Ÿ™‚

Rainbows and Cuteness!

Happy Day to you! I just wanted to pop in and share a stash of cards I made a couple of weeks ago… they make me smile and I hope they brighten your day too!

Isn’t this little Lawn Fawn Rainbow just the sweetest little ditty?! It’s called: Rain or Shine Before and Afters.I always love the smiling faces! The background paper is Lawn Fawn’s Really Rainbow Scallop. Love it!

Then I colored another Lawn Fawn rainbow and colored him in too. ๐Ÿ™‚

For this one, I stenciled on some clouds for the background. The little background scallop is Lawn Fawn’s.

And lastly, I had to commit this cutie Doodlebug sticker to a card. I wanted to hoard it, like we crafters do, but it just wanted to be on a card. ๐Ÿ™‚ I likely won’t mail this one, but that’s neither here nor there now, right? ๐Ÿ˜‰

It is a smiling typewriter with smiling paper!!! This makes me so happy! ๐Ÿ™‚

The stenciled background I made with Altenew’s Halftone stencil.

Thanks for stopping by! Come by tomorrow for a special blog post and VIDEO!! What? I know ๐Ÿ™‚

Take care– Jill ๐Ÿ™‚
