Taylored Expressions Release Week: Day 3

Welcome to Day Three of Taylored Expressions June Sneak Peek Week! If you missed my other two posts earlier this week,  I’ll link you up down below. 🙂

Today, I am sharing a perfectly summer patriotic card using the new:  Land of the Free and Home of the Brave sets.

I was so happy this turned out! I wasn’t sure it would work and I feel like it did! The background is made with the Stars Embossing folder and I cannot use it enough. 🙂

I added the ink to the stamp and then added water to give it a loose feel. I think it stamped good onto watercolor paper. I’d have liked the blue to not blend into the red at all, but it did so minimally, I called it a win! 🙂

For this card, I white heat embossed the sentiment on some TE Vellum and die cut it to overlay on the US. I added some stitching and some twine to polish it all off.

Beautiful card! I love the watercolor feel of the stamped USA. Great idea to die cut the vellum to . place over the stamped map. Gorgeous!
