Seasons Givings Blog Hop: 2019!

Hello! I’m here today to share with lots of creative people and share the goodness for the Seasons Givings Blog Hop!! Big Thanks to my friend Latisha for putting it all together and coordinating again this year! ❤

I truly appreciate all the support, reading, kind comments and sharing on my blog throughout the year, and this is my (and everyone today!) way of saying THANK YOU!! Everyone along the hop today will have some sort of giveaway to share!

I thought I would share a couple favorite cards I have from the year. Of course, I am horrible at picking faves, because I often have dozens (and I do mean dozens), but for the sake of time, here’s a few! 🙂 Other favorites can be found in Scrapbook & Cards Today 2019 issues! ❤

This one above is Taylored Expressions and you can find it on my blog HERE.

This one above is Honey Bee Stamps and you can find it on my blog HERE.

This one above is made with Ellen Hutson and can be found on my blog HERE.

This card above is made with Concord & 9th and can be found on my blog HERE.

This card above is made with Paper Smooches and can be found on my blog HERE.

This card above is made with Paper Smooches and can be found on my blog HERE.

The best part is, I mailed a few of these! yay!! 🙂 Looking forward to mailing out MORE cards in 2020!

Here is the WHOLE Blog list to hop around to! Be sure to check out all the fun:

I have many things to send and share with others, so I have packaged them up into these MYSTERY boxes below. *Disclaimer: I have found more goodies after I took this photo, so I am now thinking I will get one BIGGER box and pick one winner for a full bounty! I’ll be heading to the Post Office next week to get a new box! 🙂 (Please note that the winner must have a US mailing address.)

If you are a new stamper or a seasoned stamper, I’m sure you will find a few things you like in the box for sure. There is a variety of styles and manufacturers that I have collected over the course of the last year (or two). It’s mostly stamps and dies, maybe a few this and thats too. Honestly, I’m thinking the box will be pretty packed. And anything you don’t like, I just ask you share it forward with someone that does. ❤

**All you need to do is add a comment below telling me:

What your favorite kind of card to make is? Birthday? Holiday? Get Well? Just because? etc.

What is your favorite style of card? CAS? Floral? Layers? Graphic? etc.

My favorite cards to make are funny and graphic *Just Because* cards. But I love to see others styles, especially if it’s not something I could ever pull off making myself! 🙂

You have until January 10th to comment and I will post a random winner next weekend, January 11/12! And I will mail it out the following week! Hooray!

If you’re interested in following me along on Instagram I’m here @jilldhawkins and of course, on my blog here at! You an subscribe in the sidebar over there >> . (I do post often throughout the month.)

Thank you again for being so fantastic and lovely. Wishing you all a wonderful 2020!

Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

Take care–Jill 🙂

  1. I love making ‘just because’ and Christmas cards the most. My style is mostly clean and layered and love florals and coffee-themed stamps/dies!

  2. Heather Mills says:

Your cards are fabulous!! I absolutely LOVE that first one!!! Most days it is way too “Peoply” outside for me! Ha! Let’s see, I LOVE making Christmas cards and I have a pretty classic/traditional style, but I’m really working on CAS. I also love super layered cards and collage cards, but I just can’t pull them off very well.

  3. Laura P. says:

My favourite kinds of cards to make are anniversary cards, and I love shaker cards. Your cards are so pretty! Thank you for the opportunity to win your giveaway!

  4. Joan Kinnischtzke says:

Love your cards! I’ve been a fan of yours for quite a while – look forward to your emails in my Inbox! My favorite cards to make are birthday and florals – coloring in any mediums. Thank you for the chance to win giveaways and all your inspiration. Happy New Year Jill!!

  5. Stacey Kowbel says:

Such fantastic cards! My favourites to make are Christmas cards for sure. Although birthday cards are a close second. Thanks for being a part of this hop!

  6. Oh my gosh, that first card is a hoot! I love it so much. I like to make “thinking of you” cards because they are a surprise for whoever gets it and I hope it makes them feel special. I like to make fun cards and love using puns. Your giveaway is going to be a wonderful surprise for some lucky stamper.

  7. Happy new year! Beautiful cards!! My favorite cards to make are birthday cards and usually with a floral theme. Wishing you all the best in 2020

  8. I can’t say I have a “favorite” type of card, because I love making a variety of cards so I can send to family & friends for birthdays, weddings, thinking of you, etc. Seeing the surprise look on someone’s face when they realized the card was handmade brings so much love & joy to my heart. 2019 was a rough year, so cheers to 2020 & lots of crafting & stress relief. Thanks for this blog contest & your pretty cards I love them. 🙂🎨☀️

Love your cards. That “It’s too peopley outside” made me smile.
I love to make floral cards. I like to do layer stamping and coloring. Too much info.
I’m now following you on Instagram.

  11. Your graphic cards are so cool! My favorite kind of cards to make are Halloween, but I do love making birthday cards that are created especially for the recipient. Mixed media is my thing, but trying to move more toward CAS this year. Thank you for your amazing giveaway! I love a surprise box, and love to pass on things I don’t use myself. Great idea to spread the love!

  12. I love to make hello/just because type of cards. I’m terrible at sending them though. I have several hello word dies that are fun to use. I always enjoy seeing the projects on your blog!

  13. I like to use lots and lots of layers. Most of my cards have pretty generic sentiments such as Thinking of You. Since I send the majority of my projects to Cards for Soldiers, more versatile cards are useful. Thanks for the chance to win!! BobbisTreasure at aol dot com

Happy New Year Crafters! I love making Floral Birthday cards if I have to choose. But I must say Christmas tags are my passion. Thank you for a chance to win.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

    Happy new year!

Your bear card cracked me up. I laughed out loud “too peopley outside”. I really love funny cards too. My favorite cards to make are Birthday and Christmas a very close second. I also love the style of layers and scenes. Thank you for participating with such a generous prize. Happy New Year. I am now following on IG.

  17. Paula Gentry says:

Happy New Year! It’s easy to see why you can’t pick favorites – all of your cards are awesome.

I like cards that cheer people up when they are down – so Get Well, Encouragement/Hang In There types of sentiments are my favorite.

  18. Ooooh you have some beautiful cards there, I can see why they are in SCT! My fave cards to make are CAS type, definitely one layer cards, or maybe one layer scene cards with masking. I also love making Christmas cards!!! Thanks for the chance to win!

  19. Jo Ann F. says:

Whoo hoo A surprise box!! thanks so much ! I am new to card making after a few decades off , working / raising kids etc. But my favorite cards are Christmas cards – there are so many special beautiful lovely cards, and papers and stamps – and it’s holiday season too. The types are layering cards I am learning to make I have a lot more to learn from the pros like you and others so this year i’m hoping to do that.

Having to pick just one, I’ll pick Christmas Cards and Layers…I love the mixed media type cards. It’s truly difficult to pick just one…I like a variety…from clean and simple to lots of layers. 🙂

  26. Sherri p says:

I love all kind sof cards but really like mailing thinking of you cards is I guess that is best. Thanks for the chance to win.

The rainbow ones are so awesome!
I like to make birthday cards and
I usually layer different papers, die cuts etc.
Thanks for the chance to win!

  28. I have a large extended family and I make everyone their own birthday card custom made for them…most of the time. Sometimes, I get behind and do a one-page wonder set and throw a bunch together at once. I also make my own thank you notes. I’d like to do a better job of “just because” cards.

  29. Your cards look great. I tried my first cloud background a couple of weeks ago. It turned out ok, but I used too dark of blues. It looks more stormy than light and airy. I need to turn in into something with an umbrella. I am from the USA. Thanks for being a sponsor of the Season of Giving hop! I love making shaker cards and cards with layers and foam tape.

  30. Sammi Houp says:

  33. Lauren Z. says:

I always love to create Christmas cards. I don’t have a very long list of people I send to so I make different cards for each recipient based on what I think they would enjoy the most. Thanks so much for participating in this awesome blog hop! Happy New Year!

  34. Gilda says:

I love making fun cards for any occasion and that TE cat is one of my favorite sets. I like mostly C&S but layered, too. Thanks for your fabulous give away.

  35. Melissa says:

My favorite cards to make are the birthday cards for my niece and nephew. I always try to do something really special and even interactive in some way if I can. in my next one I’d like to try doing the lights with the copper tape.

  36. Anne McColley says:

Thank you for participating in the blog hop! I’ve been discovering so many artists this way! I had no idea there were so many great blogs out there!
I’m only just starting in card making, but I like to make thank you cards and all-purpose cards. I used to work at a Senior Living building and I taught stamping and card making to the residents once a month. I still go in to do that because I just love doing it so much.
I hope your 2020 is off to a great start!
