The Greetery: Confetti Collection!

Hello Crafty Friends! Such fun to share here today!Β I am sharing these cards I made with the new Greetery Confetti Collection to celebrate the Greetery’s One Year Anniversary β™₯️!! πŸ™‚ What fun to celebrate with Betsy and her amazing team!

The Greetery always has such fun and amazing releases and of course, this month is no exception! It’s delightful, as always. (and there’s a fun giveaway! Details below!)

For my cards, I used the new Think Happy Stamp + Cut combo , as well as the previously released Silver Lining die.

On this first card, I focused mostly on the sweet little cloud in the Think Happy Stamp + Cut combo. I thought it would be fun to die cut it and inlay all the bits. πŸ™‚

The trick is to NOT lose the bits while you are doing this. πŸ˜‰

Happy Day indeed!! This turned out so lovely and sweet.

Next up, I chose to use just the new rainbow and the sentiments from the Think Happy Stamp + Cut combo. These in conjunction with the Silver Lining die turned out so happy!

The little strips of clouds–eep! I thought it would be fun to use those too.

Next up, I wanted to just stamp the sentiments from the Think Happy Stamp set. Sentiments with *boundaries* are ideal for doing this type of design. (In other words (no pun intended), sentiments that don’t have Y’s, G’s, etc. swooping down–justifies fonts.)

This card is ideal for mailing. I purposely kept it very simple so I could do just that. πŸ™‚

Happy Happy! πŸ™‚

Simple score lines and some stitching to finish it all off.

And last but not least, I combined everything together to create this fun delight!

I used the Silver Lining die as a stencil before adding the rainbow and the sweet cloud in. OH, Happy Day! This one is the best of all worlds and I think will be a fun one to send a friend.

I added a few stitches and some ink splats to finish this one off. Gah! I love all these little Greetery elements that make it all so cheerful! What fun!

Here are all the details for this celebration (+ Giveaway!):
You can start at the beginning and hop along to see The Greetery’s amazing Design Team work their magic! Always smashing!
****GIVEAWAY!! GIVEAWAY – The Greetery will be giving away two $50 gift cards for the Day 1 hop. Comments left on everyone’s blogs will be entered into the giveaway. Winners announced Friday, May 29th 7 AM on the Greetery Blog.
Thank you for stopping by my little spot here today! And HUGE THANKS to The Greetery for having me along to celebrate this fantastically fun milestone and wonderful release! πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by! ❀

Thank you, Teachers! Congrats Grads!

Hiya! Today I am just popping in to share a few cards I made for some teachers and staff at school to wrap up the school year. What a year it ended up being…! Oh and also, I’m sharing a couple Grad cards! πŸ™‚

First up, I have these very simple but delightful cards I made using Taylored Expressions. The foil is the TE exclusive Rainbow Bright Deco foil. And the apples are the pre printed Apple of My Eye cardstock apples. Having these pre printed makes things go wicked fast! πŸ™‚ Love that. Just die cut them out after with the Apple Stacklets.

These cards are all very similar and I didn’t add anything beyond some score lines and stitching. But I like how they turned out. πŸ™‚

I also learned that I prefer foiling horizontally with the rainbow foil vs. vertically. I figure if I type that here, I might remember for next time. πŸ™‚

Lastly, I thought I’d share a cute little apple card that I made a few of, using some older Papertrey stamps my friend “long term loaned” me. πŸ˜‰

Again, kept them simple with some scoring and stitching, but I love the Muchas Gracias! πŸ™‚

The photos didn’t pick up the scoring too much, which kind of added the whole backdrop to the card. ha! Fortunately in person, they have that little extra somethin somethin. πŸ™‚

Next up, I have some Grad Cards! (and I remembered to stamp the envelopes!!) Hooray! The Taylored Expressions Boxed in Basics-Grad 2020 cards HERE are the key ingredient here! πŸ™‚

Everything else here is also Taylored Expressions: Banner Year Stamp and Die Combo and The Tassel (envelopes).

These turned out fun! I have one more to finish up. But I had to get these two in the mail. πŸ™‚

I used TE’s Rectangle Masking Stencil for the card base, inspired by Heather Nichols. She did this in a video, making a bundle of cards! You’ll have to check that out on the TE Blog. Loved this idea because the mask fits swimmingly! ❀

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy end of the School year to all the kiddos, teachers and staff out there. And HUGE Congrats to the many in the Class of 2020! What a ride!

Take care πŸ™‚

Taylored Expressions: Father’s Day and Pet Release!

Hello and happy day! We are sneaking a new releaseΒ  today forΒ  Taylored Expressions!Β All the new products will be available over at Taylored Expressions tomorrow, May 19th.Β This release is full of fun stamps for Dad and for your favorite little furry friends!

This first card is I used the new Gus and Gertie set. I cannot get enough of these little cuties! I stamped and colored them all–twice. πŸ™‚

For the background I used the new Plaid Layering Stencil. I switched it up a bit and used in a different way that I thought would be a fun change. πŸ™‚ I almost just kept it with the Blueberry stripes, because that alone was delightful! πŸ™‚

Gah ❀ Gus and Gertie!!

Next up, I am sharing another little cutie pup card…. You’re Dog-Gone Amazing! πŸ™‚Β This one uses the new Simple Strips-Woof, Paw Prints and the cute pup from Swinging By!

Isn’t this new puppy cute too? He’s from the new set Swinging By. I colored him with Copic Markers. I went with Cool Greys for him, but I normally uses the Neutral Grays. I used the Heart Stacklets to cut out the heart after stamping it. It works swimmingly.

Next up, I used the new Brushstroke Basics, Building Blocks-Him and Inside Scoop-Him. I stamped the first sentiment on the tag and heat embossed it. Then I decided where I wanted the tag trimmed down to and ran it through the die cut machine again, cutting the tag a big shorter. It’s a quick trick to customize your tag sizes.

I thought these cute little hearts (Bit and Pieces: Have a Heart) were the perfect finishing touch before adding everything down with foam adhesive. For the background on this card, I used the new Plaid Layering Stencil and just sort of mixed it up to create a plaid background. I love this new stencil set! So may possibilities and super easy to use.

Also, apparently I really like using Blueberry ink for this stencil because I did it twice this month! ha! πŸ™‚

Here’s the sweet staying on the inside of this card–the Inside Scoop-Him set. πŸ™‚

Happy Birthday!

Hello –Happy Saturday! I’m here today to share a new card I made using Β Honey Bee Stamps!!! You can find the whole of the NEW RELEASE HERE.

For this card, I used Honey Bee’sΒ new Balloon Alphabet, Balloon Numbers, Candle Coverplate, and Buzz Stamp Set. What a fun way to celebrate a special birthday!

Personalizing cards made specially for the recipient is so much fun! Now my goal is to locate this card again when it’s my niece’s birthday! πŸ™‚ haaa!

I die cut the Candle Coverplate twice; once in white and I put the same die cut underneath in black to create some easy depth, giving the whole card front a little oomph.

I added a little gradient color to the letters and then coated them with Glossy Accents, leaving them to dry overnight. I also added a little gradient color to the card base, under the Candle Coverplate.
I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Buzz Stamp Set and white heat embossed it. I added the sentiment and Balloon Alphabet on with foam tape. To finish it off, I added a few Bokeh Lights Confetti Mix.

I hope Elise likes this card ❀ ! That is, if I can locate it to send later this summer. πŸ™‚

Here’s the new Honey Bee StampsΒ goodies I used with links:

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope have a great weekend!

Somewhere Over the Rainbow Kit from Taylored Expressions

Hello and welcome to a SUPER FUN release celebration forΒ  Taylored Expressions! This new Somewhere Over the Rainbow Kit is available NOW over at Taylored Expressions TODAY, May 12 right HERE!!

This release is ALLLLLL about the Rainbows and sending some much needed to cheer in the mail…and do you see the envelope seals?! Gah!

Let’s get this party started! πŸ™‚ I have A LOT to share!

This first rainbow card is made with kit’s Masking Rainbow Stencils and my TE Blender Brushes. First, I blended on some Sugar Cube ink to give the dye inks a nice solid layer to blend on. It makes the finished product more vivid when you are using colored cardstock.

I also used the Frame in Frame 2 die to finish it all off. Eeeep! I sure ❀ this sentiment! πŸ™‚

Next up, I have one of the simplest cards I made but one of my faves! The Rainbow Masking Stencils are super easy to use because there are two different stencils. The spacing makes it easy to not blend into the wrong arch. That little smiley is adorable!

The smile fits fantastically on the little clouds, but I thought maybe the Rainbow wanted to smile too. πŸ™‚

And then, we have the dies!!! Oh goodness–how FUN are these!? These sweet sentiments are the perfect font and so delightful for these cards. ❀

For this card, I embossed theΒ  background with TE’s Cloudy Days Embossing folder and then inlaid the die cuts, added some stitching.

These clouds are the perfect finishing touch. There are two cloud dies in the kit. One is simple and the other has the little pierced dots on it. Both match each other and it’s great to have the two options.

While we are on the dies, how about a shaker card? This is too fun! I added the previous released Rainbow Sprinkles, Full of Heart and Sparkly Stars to make a mix. All that sparkly action allowed for me to keep the cardstock simple in Sugar Cube.

This is a fun one and very easy to make. I highly recommend using the TE Foam Strips. They are not only perfect for the Simple Strips sentiments, but they bend SUPER easy for shaker cards, making it much faster than using foam tape. πŸ™‚

I just love this little rainbow! ❀

I have a couple cards I made on Toffee cardstock too! Who am I? I’m not sure, but I thought it would be fun to blend the Rainbow again with Sugar Cube ink first, giving the ink a *base* and then blended the dye inks over top a few there.

Mixed it up with the rainbow colors on this one too. For the little pattern stamps, I wanted a light gray, so I off stamped the Earl Grey ink and then stamped it on here so it wasn’t quite as dark/bold.

This is another fave sentiment in this kit. Well, who am I kidding, I actually ❀ them all! ha! πŸ™‚

Here’s another super super simple one on Toffee.

I wanted to have a variety of different cards. My plan is to circle back and make a pile to mail out. πŸ™‚

These all just make me happy! πŸ™‚

Lastly, I thought I’d REALLY mix it up and just use the pixelated rainbow stamp to create a multicolored background on cardstock.Β

Once that was done, I die cut a couple tags out and overlaid them with vellum before stitching them. The smaller one is cut out of the larger one, but you’d never know once I adhered it back in. πŸ™‚

Thought it would be fun to try something different with the kit. πŸ™‚

Well, believe it or not, I think that is all I have in the way of cards to share today. I had A LOT of fun making these cards and the timing of this kit while being more at home these days made it all the better.

If you’re thinking of ordering this fun kit, I wouldn’t wait too too long. Quantities are limited, so hop to! πŸ™‚ You can find the kit in my supplies below or Somewhere Over the Rainbow Kit HERE.

Happy Mom’s Day!

Hello! Happy Mom’s Day to all those celebrating today in every which title and name you hold β™₯️ and big hugs to those who need it today.

Today I am sharing these cards I made with Paper Smooches β™₯️!! πŸ™‚

These cards are made with the following from Paper Smooches: Rad Roses, Flower Frame Dies, All Year Cheer, Kindness Sampler.

I think these all turned out so sweet! πŸ™‚ As you can see, I did a lot of scoring, both for the circle Flower Frames and then as frames around the perimeter. Scoring is always a win in my book. πŸ™‚

This Rad Roses die fits the bill every time! πŸ™‚ The blue one below is the one I made first. I love this sentiment from the Kindness Sampler.

I added a few simple stitches to each, and fortunately, my sewing machine was up for the tiny circular challenge. Phew! πŸ™‚

And then I decided I should make them for our Moms and get them in the mail. Hopefully they arrive before today! πŸ™‚
Yellow is a fave!
Wishing you a wonderful Sunday and week ahead! πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by! ❀

Celebrating Moms

Hola! Today I am popping in super quick to share some cards I made for Mother’s Day usingΒ  Taylored Expressions.

I was excited these came together so well. You just never know when you start, do you? πŸ™‚

This first one uses Taylored Expressions recently released Scribbled Rose, Beautiful Blossoms and Penned Pretty.

Next up, this one again uses the Scribbled Rose paired with a sentiment from last year’s Brimming with Love sentiments.

I have really been into a blue and yellow combo lately. πŸ™‚

Lastly, one similar to the first one, but using the Just Vine Background to mix it up. Also with the Beautiful Blossoms and Penned Pretty.

I white heat embossed on the TE Blue Corn cardstock. Although this pic definitely makes it look more Blueberry. ha! πŸ™‚

These both include little drops from TE:Β  TE Drip Drops and TE White Rhinestones. Frame dies are Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets and Frame in Frame 2 dies.

You can find all my supplies in the Taylored Expressions Shop.

Also, if you would like some more Mother’s Day card inspiration, please check out my previous post HERE for a handful of projects and links to products there too.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you are finding crafting time this week too!

Hero Arts May: My Monthly Hero Kit (+Giveaway)

Happy Monday! Exciting day today as I’m joining Hero Arts to celebrate the release of their May Monthly Hero Kit!Β  You can find the Hero Arts May Collection HERE and you can subscribe HERE.

Hopefully you have arrived here via the blog of Jessica Frost-Ballas HERE. If not, but sure to check it out, as I’m sure you don’t want to miss it! πŸ™‚ (And if you want to be sure to check out the Hero Arts Blog HERE of course for a full list! )

Today, I am using the Metallic Karin Markers in the kit as well as the Hero Arts stamp set and coordinating die set. Isn’t this little plane adorable? πŸ™‚

For this card, I created a wash using the Karin Markers. First, I masked off this space with some tape. Then I scribbled some of the ink out on a mat, added some water and brushed it over on some Bristol Paper, created a little gradient with the three colors. This kit is a great way to try out a few of these Karin Markers and decide if you need to add a few more to your collection. They sure are delightful!

I love this little message…on the inside, I’ll write the recipient’s name. πŸ™‚

Next up, I created this card using a the same concept but just blending on a bunch of colors together to create a watercolor centerpiece.

This sentiment is a great one and I thought it could definitely hold a card on it’s own!

The watercoloring warped the paper, as usual, and I felt it was better to let it roll. So I didn’t try and flatten it and adhere it flat. I am looking forward to mailing this one!

Next up, I did a blue water color wash with the Karin Marker before adhering this cute rainbow over top. This sentiment is another fave, especially given our current times. ❀

I also added some flecks of paint to add a little interest to the background. And of course, some simple stitching.

Lastly, I created a wash with the pink Karin Marker. I colored the rainbow and then fussy cut it out to add on top of the wash.

This gradient look is soooo easily achieved with these markers, a small brush, and a little water.

Sending you Love! Perfect! I need to get this one in the mail too! πŸ™‚

I had such fun creating these cards with the Metallic Karin Markers and the cuteness of the May My Monthly Hero Arts kit! I hope you enjoy all the inspiration of so many great designers today! πŸ™‚
