Taylored Expressions: Frosty Kit Release!

Welcome back! Today we are having fun celebrating the Frosty Kit ReleaseΒ from Taylored Expressions! This set is available over at Taylored Expressions TODAY, July 21st.

Talk about super cute cards created in a jiffy! THIS KIT!! Throw in a few inks and take the pouch on the go! While you can color the snowman, they are snowmen, so really, you don’t have to! Boom! Lots of cuties stamped and ready just like that. πŸ™‚

With one swoop you stamp all the cute snowman heads. Then you can just use that panel as a background OR you can die cut out all the little Frosty heads, add a body and voila! (Pssssst–You may consider grabbing an extra (or two or three–ha!) Frosty Head die. It’ll make it all go that much faster!

One of the most brilliant things, (well, it’s all pretty brilliant if you ask me) is that there is this stencil in the kit that you overlay and it fits perfectly in the space between all the Frosty heads! πŸ™‚ OR you can just use it independently, like I did on this card below:

For this card, I did add little bodies to all the cute heads–I love that they have different expressions. πŸ™‚ This card is my family so I typed out our name and printed it off my computer. Then I die cut it with the Sentiment Strip Duo die in the kit.

This went pretty fast once I had it designed, so I could see making a stack of these and sending them out at the holidays. πŸ™‚ I also used the TE Masking Stencil Circles on this one. πŸ™‚ Perfect backdrop!

Next up, I have this fun shaker card! I used the Heart Stacklets dies to create a window that I added the TE acetate to, along with the Distress Glitter and Vanilla Creme mix.

The two little hearts are from the Little Bits Hearts die, and if you don’t have this die, I highly recommend tacking it into your next order. I have no idea how I did not have this die until recently. All those hearts in one shot! ❀ These Bits & Pieces – Snowflakes inside my card are slightly different than the ones that come in the kit. You will not be disappointed with the cute ones in the kit!! I need MORE! πŸ™‚

I also used some Nuvo sparkle with the stencil on this one. The Nuvo spatulas are clutch when using this goodness… along with washing or at least soaking your stencil ASAP after applying. πŸ™‚

There is also a handful of envelopes included in the kit, so you add your cute stickers (also in the kit and mail away!).

For this card, I played it pretty straight forward, but I so love that you can change the hat band colors on all your cards however you see fit! I think it would be fun to do some warm beachy colors if you live a warm climate. The possibilities! ❀

I stamped out the Let it Snow and then I scored and folded the strips to pop them up a bit. Or you can just leave them straight, especially for the longer sentiments. πŸ™‚

I hope to find some time soon to create some holiday tags with this cute too! 1-2-3 done! πŸ™‚

Hamsters. In Leotards. :)

Hola! Have you all been partaking in The Daily Marker 30 Day this month? I am on Day 11 now and I colored some of these yesterday for Day 10. So fun!!

I ordered this Waffle Flower set Gym Rat and Waffle Flower dies for Gym Rat during  Ellen Hutson’s sale last weekend and here I am using it already! whoooot! This set is retiring, so there’s no time to waste if you love it like I do! Just sayin’. πŸ™‚

The star on this is the Taylored Expressions Masking Stencil: Stars and that one is HERE.

I thought this turned out so fun and sooooo 80’s! ❀

I put the hamsters I colored today on this next card:

This stencil background is the Mesh stencil from Simon Says Stamp HERE.

I colored all the hamsters with Copic Markers and I just ❀ them! I have been wanting this set for awhile because these little guys truly CRACK ME UP! Their sweatbands and all! Sooooo funny to me!

I hope you have gotten a kick out of these two cards like I did making them! You can find these stamps and dies at Ellen Hutson with the following links:

Hero Arts and Honey Bee Stamps! (+Giveaway!)

Hello –Here today to share some extra special Β Honey Bee StampsΒ fun for their collaboration with Hero Arts!!! I always credit Hero Arts for my first dives into stamping– so anything HA is always a delight for me…. then combine it with Honey Bee and ❀ ! This is such a great set with FANTASTIC sentiments that I can definitely use over and over and over! πŸ™‚ The set is called You are Amazing and you can find it HERE!

Hopefully, you have arrived here from Jenny Hall’s Blog HERE. If not, but sure to hop back there! πŸ™‚ You can also start from the beginning at Hero Arts HERE and Honey Bee Stamps HERE.

I couldn’t decide which sentiments to use, so finally I just picked a couple and ran with it! I could use all of them, all at once truthfully. πŸ™‚ And if I had more time, I’m pretty sure I’d have made a card using every one of them! πŸ™‚

On with the cards already, yes?! πŸ™‚

I used all the solid hearts in the sets for both of these cards. I am a big fan of these hearts! πŸ™‚

I thought it would be fun to stamp dark to light, bottom up. I think they both turned out pretty fun in the end.

I can’t pick a favorite though, of course! πŸ™‚

I finished off these cards with some paint splats, scoring and a little stitching. ❀

I love these kinds of cards! I definitely need them often and they are flat, but oh so fun for mailing!

This is just two sentiments of soooo many in the set! Along with lots of sweet hearts!Β  πŸ™‚

There is also a GIVEAWAY –two $50 gift cards –one for Honey Bee Stamps and one for Hero Arts!Β  How fun is that?!

Here’s the full scoop: We will give away TWO $50 shopping sprees during this hop – one to the Hero Arts store, and one to Honey Bee Stamps! ALL the Rainbows from Taylored Expressions

Oh it’s another day of colorful FUN over at Taylored Expressions! RAINBOWS and much more!!!! All the fun is available over at Taylored Expressions Today, July 7th right HERE!!

A whole lot of sweetness, that’s for sure! Some of the newly available products are from the previously released Somewhere Over the Rainbow Kit. You can see more cards ideas in my post for that HERE. Others are being released for the first time. πŸ™‚ And oh boy, are they cute!

For these first two cards, they are using all the same products and colors, but isn’t it amazing that they look quite different? Or is that just me?

This is the Over the Rainbow Die, Rainbow Cloud Duo and Over the Rainbow stamp set.

This one is a little different order and I love it!

For these cards, I embossed theΒ  background with TE’s Cloudy Days Embossing folder and then inlaid the felt die cuts. I added some stitching to finish them off.

These clouds are the perfect finishing touch. There are two cloud dies in the kit. One is simple and the other has the little pierced dots on it. The dots don’t show up on felt of course, but on cardstock, they are a great detail!

I do love the TE Wool Felt! It cuts like butta in a die cut machine, just in case you haven’t ever tried it.

Next up, I am using this super sweet new set of stamps called Brighter Days. Warning: Adorable! πŸ™‚

I created this background with the Rectangle Masking Stencil and just the Heart layer from the Puppy Love Layering stencil set.

I colored the rainbow with Copics and added in to the panel along with some stitching. I think this turned out to be a sweet and cheery card in the end.

Next up, this sweet little shaker with the cutest cloud! I gave the cloud some googley eyes to add to the fun and super cuteness. Inside the shaker card is the TE Sparkly Stars and Vanilla Creme shaker bits.

For the background, I added some very faint stenciling with the Splash stencil for some “rain” if you will.

Gah! It’s so fun! The shaker bit added something a little extra. ❀

Next up, this sweet little umbrella! Showered with Love! This could be great for an every day kinda card or wouldn’t it be fun for a wedding shower or baby shower too? Changing up the colors a bit could change the entire feeling. πŸ™‚

I colored the one umbrella with Copics and die cut it out, adding it with foam adhesive to the background of umbrellas. I recommend stamping the panel and then putting the one you colored on top. This will help with placement–I’ve learned this lesson many a times. πŸ˜‰

Finally, I have these sweet rain boots with the RAINBOW!!

I used the Square Window Masking stencil with Earl Gray ink for the Brighter Skies sentiment.

These new illustrations are just the sweetest and sure to brighten any mailbox or doorstep you send it to. πŸ™‚

I just love the rainbow goodness! ❀

Ellen Hutson FUN and SALE!

Happy Friday! Are you all ready to celebrate the 4th? I have some work to do this morning and then onward. Albeit much different from any year prior, it’s still a weekend! πŸ™‚

I wanted to share that there a great SALEΒ over at Ellen Hutson this weekend:

Perfect timing because I have this plethora of cards to share with you today. They are all in the theme of making a card set, and these two stamps sets from EH are my go to for this. There is something very satisfying about just stamping your little heart out for a couple hours and creating a stack of cards, is there?

The images are from Ellen Hutson’s Everyday Doodles by Julie Ebersole and I adore this set!! πŸ™‚ The little sentiments that accompany them are from the set Everyday Punnies by Julie Ebersole. And with a sale, you can get both! πŸ™‚ shhhhh!

I’m going to share a bunch of pics! Feel free to scroll fast if you haven’t seen enough. πŸ™‚

This coffee cup is everything! πŸ™‚

And the camera? ❀ oh snap! ❀ it!!!

I thought I would make a sweet apple card before making the funny ones! πŸ™‚

This sentiment is one of my faves in the set because it is OH SO TRUE! πŸ™‚

And of course, this sentiment IS my fave in the Everyday Punnies set. It makes me laugh every time I read it! πŸ™‚

Mint Chocolate Chip anyone?

And celery coffee cups? Yes please! πŸ™‚

I hope you have enjoyed these cards using the Ellen Hutson’s Everyday Doodles by Julie Ebersole and Everyday Punnies by Julie Ebersole as much as I enjoyed making them all and mailing them! πŸ™‚ That’s the thing: I already mailed most of them! Who am I? πŸ™‚

** Be sure to hit up the SALE over at Ellen Hutson now before your wishlist is snagged by someone else! 20% off is fun stuff! Be sure to use the code when you check out–you can hop over by clicking HERE >> Ellen Hutson.Β  πŸ™‚ I may have ordered already myself. Allegedly. πŸ™‚ shhhhh!

Let’s Celebrate!

Happy Day to you! We are officially in the hot zone of summer now!

I thought I’d share a few cards I made a couple weeks ago using products from The Greetery . One is similar to my last Greetery post and the others are new using party fun! And pssssst–there is a SALE over at The Greetery NOW through tomorrow, July 2nd! Be sure to check it out HERE.

These first two cards use the The Pinwheel Party Bundle from The Greetery . My original thinking was I was going to just try out the stencil and then go back and use colors I picked. But once I finished these “test runs” I thought, well, these aren’t tragic! I’ll use them! Next time, I’ll think through colors vs. just grabbing randomly to try the stencils. πŸ™‚

I think these are festive!

Good for a birthday or just anytime to celebrate, right?

Lastly for this card, I used the Oopsie Daisy Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies, HERE and HERE. I also used the Just Mason Around Stamps HERE and Coordinating Dies HERE. The sentiment is from the Sentiment Suite: Thinking of You stamp set HERE.

The green and the peach might be my favorite! πŸ™‚

You can check out my other Daisy cards in THIS post HERE.

I used Taylored Expressions Stripes Stencil set for the backgrounds. Love those!! πŸ™‚
