Hang In There!

Today, I am back to share some more cuteness from the Autumn Afternoon release from Honey Bee Stamps! These little squirrels! Gah!

The cutie squirrels and the sentiment are from the  Nuts about You set with coordinating dies HERE. The little fence, grass and clouds are  from the die set Horizon Slimline Borders. The itty bitty leaves are from the die set aptly named Itty Bitty Leaves. And all the patterned paper is from the pad called Harvest Festival. I don’t have many sheet of it left and that is making me nervous. ha! 🙂 Lastly, of course I used the A2 Scallop dies .I can’t seem to NOT use those. 🙂

I colored the squirrels with Copic Markers. I added some ink to the clouds to give a little oomph to the layers of those. But overall, I let the patterned paper do the work for me. The clouds are ideal and the fence is so sweet!

These cutie squirrels are too fun and I love the autumn feel of this card. 🙂

New Blender Brushes from Taylored Expressions!

Exciting news from Taylored Expressions today! NEW BLENDER BRUSHES and a super fun tool tray to hold the New Pastel Blender Brushes…and so much more! I need alllllll the trays! 🙂 They are so cute and practical!

Also, there is a boatload of new Stencils added to the Taylored Expressions catalog today! Stencils for days! So awesome because stencils are versatile, affordable and always easy to store. Little perks!

Let’s start with a card using the new Criss-Cross Stencil. I love stencils like this–it’s the best of both words…graphic with movement! 🙂 I had to pair it with the cutie patootie Gus & Gertie set and a Simple Strip from the set Simple Strips-Friendship.

I adore the Rainbow Cloud Duo and definitely don’t use it enough, but it made an appearance here to complete the scene. 🙂

Next up, I have a fun little birthday card using the new Falling Happy Stencil and Millie’s Birthday Bash!

This stencil is designed so you can stencil the word Happy falling down the page. I decided it would be fun to use it as a layering stencil to create all the different bobble colors in the word Happy. It’s easy to line up, so it was pretty simple. I think I started with Lemon Meringue each time, just so I’d have a base layer outline to add upon.

I colored Millie with Copics, added some score lines and Clear Bits to finish it all off. 🙂

Next up, I have this funny little Christmas card using the new Mini Slim Cable Knit stencil. This one is a fast fave to be used for so many occasions.

For this, I used not only the new Pastel Blender Brushes, but I also used the previously released green one to blend the bottom a little darker green. I have been itching to use this sentiment from the Big Grumpy Christmas Set, so I had to fit that in here too. The little panda is from the Hot Flash Grumplings set, paired with a coat from Sarcasti-Chuck’s jacket. I did a little creative engineering to make it all fit. 😉

Lastly, I made a card using the new Mini Slim Sunray Stencil. This one is definitely going to get a run for it’s money around here.

I keep thinking of using the Modern Tree and I thought it paired perfectly with this Sunray Stencil. 🙂

I used the previously released darker green brush again to polish off the last set of leaves before adding some stitching and some twine. This is a great card to send to just lift up someone’s day! ❤

I Count You Twice…

I hope you have had a moment to check out all the new goodness  in the Autumn Afternoon  RELEASE from Honey Bee Stamps! I sure do love Fall!

And to that end, one of my favorite sites on this earth is the Colorado Aspen Trees in Fall. Good gosh–they are gorgeous and someday, I’m going to travel there every fall to see them 🙂 Or live there. 🙂 So this one goes out to all my friends in Colorado. ❤

This Honey Bee Stamps set is called Hello Fall. And as almost always, I also used the A2 Scallop dies . 🙂

Goodness, I do love those yellow leaves, as far as the eye can see! I stamped with a couple different yellow inks for these, and then when back over them with a couple other different yellows to give the edges a little punch. I couldn’t decide if I wanted them lined up or not, so I guess I waffled. Some are and some aren’t. Ha! Gotta love the creative process. 🙂

This sentiment makes my heart sing! 🙂

Make Merry from Simon Says Stamp!

I am joining the fun over at Simon Says Stamp for the new Make Merry release!! Happy Holiday season–let’s get the cardmaking started!

For this card, I’m using the NEW Slimline Christmas Wafer Die and it is delightful! It comes with the backer outline, so I was excited to use this cardstock strip technique! Whenever I get a good blocky font, I can’t resist! 🙂

This clean and simple card is ready to mail! The trick on this long slim card is to keep the stitching straight, if that is the intention. Which it was on this card for me. 🙂

I love a card with stripes of color and lots of white! Everytime! 🙂

Here is the Simon Says Stamp product I used:

Thanks to Simon Says Stamp for having me along to join in Make Merry release! Be sure to check it all out >> HERE <<.

Happy Holiday Cardmaking season!! 🙂

Christmas Release from Taylored Expressions

It feels like we just celebrated the Autumn release, but as you know, the holidays come in hot and fast and before you know it, we have no cards made! You’re in luck because today we are celebrating the new (and available!) Christmas Release from Taylored Expressions today, October 6th! It’s the biggest release! Over 40 new products!! 🙂

First up,  I thought I’d get the party started with a little HO HO HO! 🙂 This card features the new Candy Cane Stripe Stencil along with the new Fill in the Blank & St. Nick Cling & Clear Combo. I always love the sets with the multiples (snowmen, pumpkins, and now Santas!) and this fun Candy Cane Stripe Stencil is a fast fave! 🙂

These little cuties and their faces! Gah! So cute! This worked out really well for a Mini Slim card. I also used the 1″ TE Masking Stripe Stencil.

Next up, always a favorite: Big Grumpy Christmas!

Silent Night…Good. haaaaaaa!!!! I so feel this Big Grumpy. Especially when my son was younger. I just really wanted to sleep through the night. So. Bad. 🙂

Funny enough, I kept moving all these images around and low and behold, unbeknownst to me, I ended up with mittens in my cocoa! Oooops!! 🙂 Shhhhh. For the background, I used the previously released Twinkling Lights Embossing Folder. Big Grumpy gets me. ❤

Next up, let’s switch it up to some retro Christmas fun, shall we? This is new Beautiful Baubles Layering Stencils. This one is fun and makes me think of the ornaments from when I was a kid.

A totally different color pallete for me, which I am always a little proud of–stretching those color muscles. I love the font in the Add On set–the retroness–soooooo fun!! 🙂

These would be easy to make a bunch of fairly quickly. And we all know that we need this ability come the Holidays! 🙂

Next up, I have another one of my faves: Gus & Gertie! This time, they are on a Gus and Gertie Holiday Adventure!

So stinkin’ cute! I thought a shaker would be fun! So I added allllll the things! ha! 🙂 I also embossed the background with the Cross stitch Embossing folder. This embossing folder is always a go to for any wintery card. 🙂

I tied a little silver thread to the banner so Gertie could pull it along! This is a fun one in person because is super cute and well, shaker. ❤

Next up, let’s revisit the cutie Santas, shall we? The St. Nick Cling & Clear Combo creates all these little Santa heads, so you can just go on creating and creating, 1-2-3! I used the stencil in the background. It’s intended to fit between the Santa Heads if you stamp them all on a panel, but I thought I’d mix it up a bit and use it on the background several times over.

I added a few of the TE Clear Bits and boom! Done. (If you’re on the fence, the clear bits are a must!)

And last, but definitely not least, I used Tag Team Christmas set to create these fun tags. I can never have enough.

This year, I added some stars from the Starry Background cutting plate and stamped them with the patterns in the set. The patterns fit perfectly!

I went with a green and pinks color palette, throwing in a little Sprinkles for fun! I can’t wait to use all these. They crack me up! 🙂
