Taylored Expressions: Kit Exclusives a la carte!

It’s a fun little release over at  Taylored Expressions today. Some of the kit exclusives are now made available individually and today you can order them!

For my card below, I used the Heart Fence from the Gnome kit! The Gnome kits was a fave of mine and psssst you can also order the Gnomes today! 🙂

I adore this little Heart Fence die and I thought with Mother’s day ahead soon, this would be entertaining. :)😊

This little chickie is from the Sarcasti-chicklets Set. I just fussy cut the little sentiment bubbles super quick and easy. They all came together quickly because I stamped them on Pineapple cardstock and then just did a little bit of shading with Copic Markers.

I thought it would be fun to stamp another sentiment on the inside along with stenciling the Hearts from the Stencil Strips-Love set. The blue little textured background is done with the Pretty Petals stencil.

I had to add a little stitching over the top too. I love this card. It is both sweet and also sooooo true! 🙂

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions.

Fun Stamp Joy Exclusives! Now released…

This week is Stamp Joy at  Taylored Expressions! 🙂 Because of the current state of the universe, Stamp Joy has been taking place online. This is different, but also lovely because it means Stamp Joy is available to everyone who can join virtually (and if you sign up 😉 ). The next Stamp Joy is actually later this week. If you signed up a little while back, you know all about it. If you didn’t get to sign up for this one, keep your eyes open for details on the next. Will it be in person? Online? It’s hard to guess.

Anywho–point being, there are products that are gifted as part of one’s registration to Stamp Joy, and today, Taylored Expressions is releasing the previous Stamp Joy goodies for everyone to be able to purchase them…or maybe you wanted to get a set and gift it to a stamping friend? Now is the time. 🙂

For my card today, I used the Social Butterflies set. This set is simply delightful and I am looking forward to creating a card set with it! 🙂

I had to make two! 🙂

I especially love this textured stamp–I think this is fun to use on it’s own too!

And this next one, I simplified, but then decided to stitch the butterfly trails, complicating things. ha! I am not super skilled at stitching in whirley q’s.

And because I almost always have to use the Petite Scalloped Rectangle Stacklets, I used those here too. Naturally. 😉

But the stitched little trails are kind of a fun and different detail too. 🙂

These are so simple to create and all the options you can mix up so easily makes it that much better! 🙂

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions.

Take care 🙂

Masking Stencil Essentials Release from TE

This is another great release over  at Taylored Expressions today! 🙂 It’s one of those releases which is awesome because it contains a lot of the essentail things we need for cardmaking all the things! These are all available at  Taylored Expressions today!

First up, we have the Scalloped Circles Masking Stencils! I love all the scallops, in case you haven’t noticed. 😉

I actually used double stencils on this. First I used the new Scalloped Circle Masking Stencil and then after I laid down a basic level of ink, I overlapped the Hot Spots stencil. I kept the Hot Spots in place using a piece of tape, like a book flap just to make it easier and create a cohesive background that I didn’t need to shift twice, like I did with the Scalloped Circle. I’m sure that makes zero sense, but if you were to try this, you’ll probably figure it out. 🙂

This little Gus is from the Gus and Gertie set (+ coordinating Gus & Gertie dies)  and the sentiments are from the Building Blocks: Be Bright set. I love how this fun card turned out! 🙂 Gus is one of my faves.

Next up, this optical illusion card. If it wasn’t a sentiment strip, this would be a one layer card! And I keep thinking it isn’t. ha!  But it is!  For this, I used the new Rectangle Scalloped Frame Masking Stencil and it made this awesome dimensional look with just the stencil.

I used two of the Petite Scallop Rectangle stencils together, blending in some Toffee ink. After that, leaving the “frame” I created with the two stencils, I stamped the Wood Plank Background stamp with Chocolate Truffle and Mocha over top. After that was all set, I left the stencil on and blended in the background with the different colors before stamping the Spring Stems. I wish I had added a little darker ink around the top and sides to create that same dimensional look that is created at the bottom, but live and learn. 🙂

I have to remember this technique, especially for cards that need to be mailed. It creates dimension without adding bulk. The Simple Strip sentiment is from the Simple Strips-Sympathy set.

Next up, there is a new die set which adds a great detail to your cards. These are the Diagonal Stitch Rectangle Stacklets and come in different shapes. For all these cards below, I used the Diagonal Stitch Rectangle Stacklets. But there are also Diagonal Stitch Square Stacklets in this release!

For this card, I also used an all time fave, the Over the Rainbow die in conjunction with the Rainbow Cloud Duo dies. I love the simple and subtle detail these  Diagonal Stitch Rectangle Stacklets add so easily.

I also needed a handful of Thank You cards this month, so I created all of these with the previously released Modern  Mosaic Stencil (using Pineapple, Lemon and Earl Gray on one and Mint Julep, Pea Pod and Cilantro on the other.)

These came together pretty quick overall and I have already used most of them. 🙂

Of course, the Simple Strips-Thank You set is the perfect fit along with the Big Thanks set.

I thought I had a favorite combo, but in the end, I like both of these scenarios equally. 🙂

I only wish I had doubled my batch. 🙂 Thank You cards are the cards I send most and I love having them ready to go so I can be more timely. I don’t always succeed, but I try! 🙂

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions.

Taylored Expressions Release

There is some fun over at Taylored Expressions! 🙂 Some of the fun exclusives Taylored Expressions gives away with qualifying purchases are available to purchase from Taylored Expressions today! Personally, I was super excited to get my inky fingers on them myself! 🙂

First up, I thought I’m sharing this fun little card with Gus & Gertie pulling this hilarious sign which I stamped from the set Handmade Humor. I love this fun set OH SO MUCH!!

I colored the little car with Copic Markers and used the two stencils layered to create a fun background.

And then I stamped up a pile of envelopes so they are ready to send out too!

Next up, I have these colorful cards using the Big Thanks stamp set. I used this in conjunction with the previously released Create in Color Background.

I colored these pencils with Copic Markers and the stamps in the Big Thanks set fit perfectly inside the pencils.

I am looking forward to using these great Thank You cards!

Love these pencils and it worked swimmingly together!

Next up, I have the Simple Strips Thanks–I have used these dozes of times already!! Gah so good!

I thought these would be fun with the Framed Script-Hello. I should have made a bunch more of these too because I cannot have enough of them on hand to send.

I am a fan of color blocking before die cutting to create simple but popping colors.

I added a few clear drops around the words.

Super simple to make and I love how they turned out.

I hope you enjoy seeing all the new products  available now over at Taylored Expressions.
