Christmas Release from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has their big Christmasย Release today !!ย  It’s a big one filled with all things Christmas, Winter, Holidays and Festive fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

I can’t wait to use all the things to craft my little holiday heart out. But for now, let’s get to what I have made so far, yes?

First up today, I have the new Little Critters Christmas + coordinating dies. I also used the previously released Circle and Square Window Frames.

The background is created with the Backstory Christmas Background embossed in white on Sugar Cube. It’s not very apparent in these photos (because white on white), but in person, it gives it that little extra something.

Everyone is colored with Copic Markers and the panel is cut out with the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets. Gah these little guys are TOO cute!!! And the best part is they can be used all winter long! Or heck, even in the summer with their friends, Little Critters! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Next up, we have the super fun Trendy Tree Farm. I was pretty darn excited to get this layering stencil set. I love the modern feel of this fun set and anything with layering stencils you know is just going to fun and easy to create with! I paired this with the new Merry & Bright sentiment set + dies.

I used the following inks on the stencils: Guava, Cupcake, Peaches n Cream, Pineapple, Lemon, Mint Julep, and Blueberry.

The background is created with the previously release Twinkle Twinkle Background embossed on white using Mint Julep cardstock. I die cut the panel out with the Frame in Frame 2 die. I thought it would be fun to stamp the trees and sentiment in Blueberry to mix things up a bit. OH and also, I die cut all the Trendy Trees out with the Trendy Tree Farm Cutting Plate–boom! All at once! SCORE!

Lastly, I used the new Beautiful Baubles dies. These dies coordinate with the previously released Beautiful Baubles Layering Stencils. So now you can die cut these out and use them individually. I did just that here, creating a little bundle of ornaments.

To create this frame, I die cut Pineapple cardstock with the Mini Slim Thin Frame Cutting Plate. I used the Beautiful Baubles Add Ons for the sentiment and the little ornament topper.

In my continued effort to mix up my color pallets, I used Sweet Basil, Lollipop and Pineapple for this card. I thought it turned out fun with a little different twist! ๐Ÿ™‚

Christmas Cards! Always a fun time of the year! ๐Ÿ™‚

Wheatfield Dreams from Taylored Expressions

Today, there is a NEW Kit available over atย  Taylored Expressions! The Wheatfield Dreams kit is designed by my friend Lori Craig and it is as delightful as her previous two kits: Field Notes and Field Notes 2. This one is a nod to Lori’s home state of Kansas and it is a delight!

I started out getting super crafty with all the watercolor colors. I first embossed the new wheat stamp and then added a bunch of watercolors and blended around. I used the new Honey and Mulled Wine watercolor.

This kit has lovely sentiments in it too. I stamped this one on a small piece of torn vellum and heat embossed it before stitching it on to finish off the card.

I finished it up by die cutting with the Petite Scallop Rectangle stacklet, naturally. ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I thought it would be a fun twist to do a rainbow color wave with the Burlap Background in the kitย and some partial die cutting.

I used the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and layered this up to match. Now, I’m thinking I might have liked to layer it up with foam tape. Next time maybe. ๐Ÿ™‚

I added some score lines to the card base and kept the rest fairly simple. I finished off both of these with some twine and some stitching, which I find fitting for this kit.

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions. Hooray!

Here’s the TE scoop:

Hereโ€™s everything included in the Wheatfield Dreams Kit โ€“ which is available for $69:

  • Wheatfield Dreams stamp set
  • Wheatfield Dreams die collection
  • Burlap Background stamp
  • Foil It โ€“ Wheatfield
  • Mini Embossing Powder โ€“ Copper
  • 6 A2 Envelopes, 2 each of: Honey, Mulled Wine, and Sweet Basil
  • Packaged in a zippered pouch with a custom kit label

Limited quantity available. Most items are not available to purchase individually.

You will be able to purchase additional envelope seals (pack of 10) and new TE Liquid Watercolor colors (Honey, Mulled Wine, and Sweet Basil) separately.

You say it’s your Birthday–It’s TE’s Birthday Too!

Taylored Expressions has a New BIRTHDAY Release today !! ย Taylored Expressions is 13 years old, so now officially a TEENAGER!! ahhhh! ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy Happy Birthday to TE!! ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽˆโœจ๐ŸŽˆโœจ๐ŸŽ

To celebrate, TE has a bounty of things going on this month–you definitely want to check out the Taylored Expressions Blog this month. Lots of challenges and giveaways and all sorts of goodness!

For now, let’s get to this fun new release, shall we?

First up, we have the new Sweet Shoppe Stencil & Clear Combo that is a tasty little delight! Anything that layers this easily to give such fun results: I’m all in!

The Cupcakes themselves are created with the layering stencils. That simple lovely effect you get with just using a heavier hand with the same ink is genius! So easy to use and this makes them so fun to create!

Once you have your cupcakes all set up, then you can use the clear stamp set to go back and add sprinkles and all the details, if you so desire. Even without them though, they are sweet enough to eat! ๐Ÿ™‚ Check out all the ink colors I used in my supply list below–a rainbow!

The background on this Mini Slim Card I created with the Mini Slim Swiss Dots stencil and the fun stamps from the new Piece of Cake stamp set. The sentiment is from the new Mini Strips-Birthday. I think I used every sentiment in this Mini Strips set this month? ha! ๐Ÿ™‚ Good stuff!

Next up, I have this fun shaker card using the Piece of Cake die and all the new Tiny Diamonds in Bold and Pastel! I thought this one turned out fun with all the colorful layers. TE actually auctioned this one off for charity–I hope it was able to raise some money. ๐Ÿ™‚

This isn’t difficult to make by any means, you just have to be precise with cutting your foam tape to get in between the cake layers. Also, I used the die upside down, but don’t tell anyone ;).

The sentiment is again from the Mini Strips-Birthday set. Eat All the Cake!! ๐Ÿ™‚

And one more card for today–it’s a funny one using the new All Inside-Snarky Birthday. (Which, incidentally, I used on the other birthday cards here today, but then forgot to take pics–I ALWAYS forget to the photo the insides!! gah!)

How true is this sentiment? Seriously embarrassing. haaaaa!! I also use a festive fun new stencil called the Sprinkles Rotating stencil. And that’s excactly how it works. Set it up, blend some ink, rotate, rotate, rotate and voila! I used a few different colors per rotation, but using just one would be perfect too!

The cute little car is from the Punny Notes set. I love that little set of cuteness and find myself reaching for it often. I colored the car with Copic Markers. Excuse me while I go turn down the stereo. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Too fun! There is a boatload of other new goodies in this release, so you’re definitely going to want to check out the rest of the Creative Team’s projects and follow along for the rest of the month. Today is actually my son’s birthday, so we’ll be celebrating ourselves here today! ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s the scoop from TE:

Right now through Sunday, September 19th (or while supplies last), you can get the 13th Birthday Bundle for 15% off! The bundle includes the Piece of Cake Layered Stencil set, Clearly Crafty Piece of Cake Additions stamp set, and Piece of Cake die collection.ย The discounted bundle price is only available through 11:59PM Central Time on Sunday, September 19th.

More Projects with the EH FALL Release!

I’m back using some more Fall goodness from the Ellen Hutson Fall Release! I hope you have had a chance to see all the projects on Instagram and the Ellen Hutson blog using the new Fall Release! I have enjoyed them and need to peruse more because there are so many I have yet to see, I’m sure. ๐Ÿ™‚

First up today, I am sharing these cards using the new Pumpkin Season (and dies). I want to decorate with all the pumpkin things NOW! But it is still 90 degrees here today…. seems wrong. Ha! So I will make cards instead. These are very basic, but I enjoy that sometimes so I can make more of them and send them out. ๐Ÿ™‚

For the background, I used the new Nordic Cross Cover and I’m a super fan of this die. I can safely say I will be using it a lot. A LOT.

The Pumpkin Season set comes with both a solid pumpkin stamp and an outline pumpkin stamp. I actually used both for these pumpkins before die cutting them out after. A few different shades of colors and done. ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I have these fun little treats using the new Bat Hugger die. I wanted to make a candy corn bat with little black feet, so this was fun. I also used the new A2 Piercing Plate to give everything a little extra texture.

AND naturally, some googley eyes! ๐Ÿ™‚ I am planning to make a banner using the bats, so hopefully I get that done before Halloween and can come back and share. ๐Ÿ™‚

And lastly, I have some Holiday Treats! I think these would be super fun in all the colors, so that’ll be another one I hope to get to before Christmas–we’ll see! ๐Ÿ™‚ These are super easy to make with the new Pyramid Box Die. Two passes through the die cut machine and quick assembly to hold treats, cash (who doesn’t love cash in a pyramid?) and so much more. Or just to decorate. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you have enjoy the new Fall Release from Ellen Hutson too! It’s always such a fun one! Check it the entire Ellen Hutson Fall Release HERE!

OH and if you missed my post last week–check that out HERE. A few more Halloween projects–too fun!!

Thanks again for stopping by!

Ellen Hutson New FALL Release!

Exciting day today over at Ellen Hutson–It’s the EBE Fall Release! I loooooooooooooooove this release every year and I’m so glad to be able to share little bits of it with you. AND before I forget, I’ll be back with some other projects in a few days… Two words: Holiday Trees. Yup. With the Fall Release! ๐Ÿ™‚

This release is full of super fun goodies designed by both Julie and Heather, so you know it is trouble! The GOOD kind, of course. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค

First up, I had to use two new sets and one of my favorite all time EH little guys. ๐Ÿ™‚ This card uses the new sweet little Witch from Halloween Boo-quet (and dies) and Halloween Treat Bags, as well as the long time fave All Insideย  (and dies HERE). They are all besties!

For the bold star background, I used the new Essential Stars and new A2 Piercing Plate 2. Which is a fun one for subtle texture. <3!

I colored them with Copic Markers and gave a little scoring and stitching to the background. I wanted to give a few ink splatters too, but I adhered everyone in first and there was no going back! Ha! I do this often–anyone else? ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I have fun making these tags and of course, as usual, I wish I had a dozen more! These use the new Halloween Treat Bags again and also the new Tag It-Halloween. These NEW Farmhouse Tags are extra fun and come in a die set of three different shapes. THESE you NEED! Just sayin.

Oh my goodness–I love tags. I love fall. and I love little treat bags! So this is the best!

This little ghost above is definitely my fave! I love a smiling ghost. ๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ‘ป

And there are some fun treat wrappers ahead too. I will post more about them in a few days, but here’s a little sneak! I plan to also make a Halloween banner with them! The die is called Bat Hugger.

Maybe one more card to share today? Ok. ๐Ÿ™‚

This one uses the new Halloween Boo-quet again, with a blended background of Distress Oxide Inks: Hickory Smoke, Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, Spun Sugar and Fossilized Amber. I decided to use all the individual dies in the Halloween Boo-quet die set and create a fun little spray. These ghosts are too cute–and smiling!!

I also used the new Tiny Stars Background and backed it all up with some Silver Glitter cardstock. I left some of the little stars in, which was a fun little blip because my die cutting plates are so warped, it missed the center of the die. I took advantage ๐Ÿ˜‰

I also accidentally adhered her broom upside down, so apparently she is ready to start cleaning vs. flying? haaa! ๐Ÿ™‚ Oh it’s all too cute, “upside down” or not. ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿงก

I hope you enjoy the new Fall Release from Ellen Hutson as much as I do! I’ll be back again in a few days with the rest of my treats AND some Holiday Trees! That’s right, Holiday Trees with the Ellen Hutson Fall Release. ๐Ÿ™‚

You can find the entire Ellen Hutson Fall Release HERE! Happy shopping! ๐Ÿ™‚

STAMPtember: Simon Says Stamp Blog Party

Today is the kick off of Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember!!!ย  Always a BIG deal to celebrate in September! You can shop the entire STAMPtember Release HERE. There is a Blog party today and you can start over on the Simon Says Stamp Blog for all the links. But I’m here to celebrate–let’s get the party started!

This one is extra fun because my friend, Miriam Prantner has some great new sets released from Simon Says Stamp! So happy for Miriam and super excited to see her designs releasing out in the world once more–I’ve always been a big fan of all things MP! ๐Ÿ™‚

Let’s get started with one of my favorite new sets Miriam designed: Printmaking Florals. This set is a top fave, for sure! โค I love printmaking!!

I couldn’t stop stamping these, so I just went ahead and made “a few”. These would make an awesome gift set and I plan to make more and gift them. The combos of colors are infinite!

Love these printmaking designs Miriam whips up! I have another stamp I hope to make some cards with soon, so I’ll be back to share that one too! ๐Ÿ™‚ It is called Floral Background. Miriam created another printmaking set called Printmaking Houses and I’d love to use that set someday too! They’d also be perfect for making a sweet gift card set.

Sometimes it is just fun to stamp stamp stamp isn’t it? No coloring or die cutting, just stamping.

I love these! And I used all the sentiments in the set for these cards. I ๐Ÿค the font Miriam chose for these. ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I used Miriam’s new Drink Coffee sentiment set. I paired this with the new 3D Embossing Folder called Crystal Distortion. This Crystal Distortion embossing folder is super cool and could not be easier to create this background with so much interest. Cardstock, Embossing Folder–run through and boom! Done! Honestly, it would be a breeze to make a fun stack of coffee cards to mail out with this combo. I enjoy making cards in bulk and also sending cards in bulk. ๐Ÿ™‚

I do believe that a World Without Coffee is a World in Chaos! haaaaa! ๐Ÿ˜‚โ˜•โ˜•

Lastly for today, I used this fun background stamp called Coffee Drinks. There is also a stencil that would be awesome to create a sweet blend. It is the Coffee Drinks Stencil . I also used another sentiment from the Drink Coffeeย sentiment set.

I finished this one off using SSS Basic Rectangles. This whole color combo is definitely a new dive for me, but I thought it turned out fun for this coffee theme.

You can find all the goodies I used over at Simon Says Stamp! All the new STAMPtember can be found HERE.

Also, check this out! Use this code below when you order for a freebie! ๐Ÿ™‚
