There’s a new Color Trends Pin-Sights Challenge over on Ellen Hutson–check it out!
While I am not a purple fan, per say, I do really enjoy the colors of these succulents, so that’s what I ran with for inspiration. Here’s my card:
I used different colored Distress Oxide ink pads to smoosh on the stamp and then I stamped repeatedly. I white heat embossed the sentiment, and finished it off with a lot of stitching. 🙂
I made this card using two of my favorite Ellen Hutson’s sets: Wonky Backdrops and All Inside (sentiment). I added some Pretty Pink Posh Confetti...and as you can see, because of the glue, the top one took on the ink underneath and it turned the whole thing pinkish. Ha!! Overnight. Who knew?
I hope you have time to jump in on this current EH Challenge too! Thanks for stopping by!
Take care– Jill 🙂
Have you seen this month’s Pin-Sights Challenge over on Ellen Hutson? It’s good. Let me show you:
oooooooo so fun! I have been wanting to play along and finally got around to feeling good and made one last night. 🙂
Here’s my card:
How cute are these guys, weathering the storm? ❤
I made this card using Ellen Hutson’s super cute sets: Totally Random Sayings Vol. 1 by Julie Ebersole, Bear Ware (and dies) Bear Ware 2 (and dies). I also used Neat & Tangled’s Geometric Blooms stencil to add a smidge of background.
I watercolored these images with Distress Inks and added some stitching. 🙂
I hope you have time to jump in on this current EH Challenge too! I’d love to sneak another one in, but that could be a pipe dream. Ha!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Take care– Jill 🙂
I might be the only person excited about Springing the clocks ahead! My son gets up crazy early everyday, and this means that it isn’t quite as early (for the next six months or so), fingers crossed! 🙂
Anyway, I’m popping in to share another card today. I whipped this one up last night using Ellen Hutson’s super cute new set: So Matcha by Julie Ebersole. Julie does it again! ❤
This set is just darling–that’s the best word for it! I colored everything with Copic markers and fussy cut out the images. I stamped the background with a Hero Arts Ombre Pool to Navy pad to create the light to dark on the bamboo. 🙂
As always, I finished this cutie lil’ number off with some simple stitching and Voila!
Looking forward to mailing this very soon! I have a large stack to sit down and address!
Thank you to Ellen Hutson for gifting us these cute sets at our recent crafty get-together! So sweet of you to share your goodness! 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by again today! Enjoy your Sunday! 🙂
Take care– Jill 🙂
Hello! I’m popping in tonight to share a card I finally made! I tinkered around with these die cuts for quite some time, and then this happened. Ha!
If you look at it, you can see it is wonky right? I’m thinking I should have left two more “triangles” out to make it less awkward overall. Arranging them this way doesn’t quite make a complete “star”. There isn’t quite enough room. 😉 But it is what it is and nothing is coming off now, since it’s all stitched down! 🙂
I looooove this Essentials by Ellen Silver Linings die and I was hoping to do something more with it too. But wow, has time been elusive! I usually craft in late evenings after all of everything, but lately I’ve had so many other things. It’ll pass hopefully! I need that time back to make stuff and exercise that part of my brain. I always feel better. 🙂
I super enjoy this fun sentiment from this Essential by Ellen set: Crafty Ladies Say.
I wanted to participate in the latest Ellen Hutson’s Pin-sights Challenge! I so dig this color inspiration and yet, I feel that I didn’t quite capture it fully. Things went a different direction that I initially planned! Doesn’t that happen often or what?! Haaaaa!
Check it out and join in! There’s still a few days to jump in! 🙂
I’ll be back tomorrow morning with another FEW cards! ❤
Thanks for stoppin’ in!
Good Morning! Happy Saturday!
Today, I am sharing this card I finished late last night using Essentials by Ellen Bear Ware 2. How cute is this little Snowman Bear? Gah! (I thought I had the dies, but I guess not? Ha! So I fussy cut the snowbears out. 😉 )
I colored them last night with Copic Markers for The Daily Marker’s 30 Day Challenge and then popped them on a card. (Check out that Challenge HERE! Kathy is FABULOUS!)
Let me just say, I think this is the most purple I have used in years! LOL! Also, this card is BUSY! It’s a little too busy for me, but I still think it’s too cute to not share. 🙂
For the sentiment on this card, I used EH’s Warm Fuzzies stamp set. (I heat embossed it.) That set is a super fave of mine! ❤
For the background of this card, I used my friend Miriam’s Neat & Tangle stencil, Rice Paddies. There is so much detail on that stencil, it can be used for awesome things! 🙂 I used Wilted Violet Oxide ink. I also stamped the little dots from EH’s Abstract Paint Strokes.
To finish off this card, I added some Neat & Tangled sequins (Thank you, N&T!) and some stitching.
I used all the purples and violets to participate in Ellen Hutson’s Pinsight Challenge! It’s been awhile, so I am happy to participate again–dig the EH Challenges!
Check it out and join in! I think there is still a bunch of time to play along! 🙂
Have a great weekend! Jill 🙂
Hooray for the weekend! 🙂
Last night I had just enough time to get a quick card made. Monday is back to school here, and it is going to get ugly round these parts! My son is going to be in extreme denial! 🙂 So I made him a card for his lunchbox, to soften the blow midday. It’s not going to work, but it can’t hurt. Haaaa!
My son has a chameleon and he loves apples, so I went with that! 🙂
This little chameleon was a Lawn Fawn goodie offered around Thanksgiving. I obviously needed to grab one! 🙂 I did not get the die however, so I just fussy cut him out. 🙂
The background I used is from the fabulous Ellen Hutson set, Wonky Backdrops. Love that set.
Other supplies: Lawn Fawn Thanks a Bushel stamp and die, Lawn Fawn Jet Black (Copic friendly) Ink, Versafine Black, Hero Arts Ombre ink pad, Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, Copic Markers, and a White Gel Pen.
I thought I’d enter this for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: Fun with Food! I love to partake in challenges, as I think it’s great creative exercise! 🙂 There is still over a week to join in the fun, so check it out! Lots of yummy cute to check out there! 🙂
Have a great weekend and STAY WARM!
Take care! Jill 🙂
Popping in tonight to share my little bears! I stitched four in one day. Holiday travel = stitching! It’s fun like that. (I did some other top-secret stitching that I will share in the future as well. wink wink!)
My Mother-in-Law made two, and my son made one cutie! Such fun! This bear is the Essentials by Ellen Bear Hugs! I’m telling you, Julie Ebersole and her designs are trouble! As if I didn’t love this All Inside Bear and coordinating dies enough, this little guy then stole my crafty lil’ heart! 🙂The above four are the ones I made. I love the oatmeal one the best… or maybe the white one? Well, that Heathered PInk and Gray is pretty awesome too. Well, I love them all! 🙂
The two darker colored ones, my Mother-in-Law stitched up. She always makes things like this flawless. (Don’t look at mine too closely please. 🙂 ) My son stitched up the little blue one in the middle. His arm is a little wonky, but I did help him with those, so that is definitely on me. He said he liked it that way. ❤ So I left it.
And this little photo is just funny because they are all in a line up apparently! Holding their little hearts while taking potential criminal photos? LOL.
Thanks for stopping by!
Take care! Jill 🙂
