Always a Rainbow!

Hello! Popping in today to share a card I made yesterday in a few moments of Mom time–DAY CRAFTING! What? I know. (Technically, it was early evening but daylight! ha!) I thought the same as I was making it.Β  Ha!

Love this little turtle from Lawn Fawn so very much and I had to use him!

Eeep –he’s the cutest! I used the sentiment from this set and another to say exactly what I wanted!

I love the addition of the felt hearts. Taylored Expressions felt is my super fave!

The current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge is Pet Love and I thought I’d join in the fun! I haven’t been able to play along in quite some time, so I seized the opportunity. My brother and I had a teeny pet turtle when we were kids. We ended up letting him go, but we really liked him while we had him briefly. Check it out HERE:

I had to make this one for a friend and get it in the mail–STAT! πŸ™‚

Lawn Fawn goodies: Get Well Before ‘nΒ  Afters (and dies HERE), Rain or Shine Before ‘n Afters, Really Rainbow Petite Paper ( ❀ ), and Valentine Borders.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks to Lawn Fawnatics for keeping the challenges coming! πŸ™‚

Take care– Jill πŸ™‚

May Guest over at Neat & Tangled!

Hello Crafty Friends! Fun news to share to today, as I am the May Guest Designer over at Neat & Tangled! I could not be MORE excited to be joining their amazing designers this month! Huge thanks to Danielle! And to my friend Miriam, who incidentally costs me a lot of moola. πŸ˜‰ ❀

My first card this month features Elena Roussakis’s cutie little set, Jump for Joy!Β  When I saw this squirrel, I swear my heart leaped with delight! (My friend Lisa will vouch for my complete love of this set! ❀ ) He is just the stinkin’ cutest! I absolutely had to use him straightaway this month.

Be sure to hop over to Neat & Tangled today to see my full post about how I made this card. You can find that post HERE.

Thank you again, Neat & Tangled–looking forward to sharing more this month! πŸ™‚

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend ahead!

Crafty Friends Stick Together!

Happy Sunday! It is actually SNOWING here in Chicago, so I thought I’d pop in and share a couple cards. I made a bunch of cards on a crafty retreat last month, and have yet to share them. So here’s two today!

This little set from Hello Sweetums is just adorable!! And so very perfect for crafty friends! It’s called Crafty Companions and I was happy to get to use it that weekend! πŸ™‚ Because: Adorable! ☺️

This little card makes smile!! πŸ™‚

And here’s another card–the sentiment isn’t as fitting here, but I just love that sentiment! Had we never seen the sticky card above, it would probably be just fine, right? πŸ™‚ Ha!!

Thank you to Hello Sweetums for sharing your cute stamps for us to use! I have another little set I can’t wait to stamp here at home! ❀

Thanks for stopping by! See you later this week πŸ™‚

Rainbows and Cuteness!

Happy Day to you! I just wanted to pop in and share a stash of cards I made a couple of weeks ago… they make me smile and I hope they brighten your day too!

Isn’t this little Lawn Fawn Rainbow just the sweetest little ditty?! It’s called: Rain or Shine Before and Afters.I always love the smiling faces! The background paper is Lawn Fawn’s Really Rainbow Scallop. Love it!

Then I colored another Lawn Fawn rainbow and colored him in too. πŸ™‚

For this one, I stenciled on some clouds for the background. The little background scallop is Lawn Fawn’s.

And lastly, I had to commit this cutie Doodlebug sticker to a card. I wanted to hoard it, like we crafters do, but it just wanted to be on a card. πŸ™‚ I likely won’t mail this one, but that’s neither here nor there now, right? πŸ˜‰

It is a smiling typewriter with smiling paper!!! This makes me so happy! πŸ™‚

The stenciled background I made with Altenew’s Halftone stencil.

Thanks for stopping by! Come by tomorrow for a special blog post and VIDEO!! What? I know πŸ™‚

Holiday Fun with Right at Home!

Good Day to you! Hope your weekend has been a great one so far! Today, I am sharing a handful of cards I made with the recently released Bells and BaublesΒ and Fa La La from Right at Home! Gah!! I not only love the fun choices one has to build these ornaments and baubles, but I completely adore this font!Β  You can check out Right At Home’s most recent release HERE! There are some cutie sets there to color too! ❀
β™₯
I just stamped and stamped and stamped my little heart out, using all the Catherine Pooler inks that Right at Home carries. You can find them all HERE.
β™₯
My first card is full of Cheer!
I love this festive feel– It is fun for the holidays but non-traditional. Fiesta! πŸ™‚
Here are the inks I used:
Next up, I used more details of the baubles for this one:
Again, not traditional colors, but I thought it was a fun combo and I liked the result. I also thought it would be fun to use a dark blue, Juniper Mist on all these vs. a black.
Here are the inks I used for this one:
Lastly, I made a card using just bits and pieces of this builder stamp set. I like to stretch sets outside what they might typically be used for, and these stamps could easily be used for a birthday, hello, or whatever kind of card. Think of the color combo possibilities! πŸ˜‰
I just polished this off with a few little splatters for fun. πŸ™‚

Here are the inks I used for this one:

There is also a coordinating die set for this Bells and Baubles set. You can find that one HERE. I was going to use the dies for these stamped images (below) I had in progress, but I forgot to wait to stamp the tops of the ornaments. They have their own die cuts. Hopefully I can finish these panels and make them into cards for the holiday season too!

I hope you have been busy creating lots of holiday fun too! I’m looking forward to having some more time later this month to create more with this awesome never-ending-possibilities-set!

Thank you to Nicole for having me along to create! Always a treat! ❀

Wishing you all a wonderful week!

The Best Ever!

Happy Wednesday!

I’ve have had this little Lawn Fawn Caramel Apple and die for so long and finally got around to stamping them! πŸ™‚

Adorable! I colored them with Copics, die cut them out and then stamped the sentiment from the Reveal Wheel Sentiments after scoring the card base under the circle. To finish this off, I added some stitching, some Stickles and a little hemp twine. πŸ™‚

Gah, I can’t take them with the googley eyes! πŸ™‚

The current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge is all about bling and sparkle–check it out HERE. Check it out:

Be sure to check out the challenge and join in! I haven’t played along in so long and I’m glad I finally could! πŸ™‚

Have a great rest of the week!

Batty Tags!

Hola! Just popping in with a handful of treat tags I whipped up for teachers and staff. (And one little dude’s lunchbox πŸ˜‰ ) ❀

For these, I used Taylored Expressions Gone Batty,Β  Paper Smooches Tag Stitched Dies, Paper Smooches Teeny Stars, andΒ Lawn Fawn’s Reveal Wheel Sentiments. Fun!

❀ !

Eeeeeeep! Love that little bat.

I backed this patterned paper with cardstock for heft. Otherwise, just colored all with Copic Markers, added a few splats, googley eyes (of course), a few felt stars and done! Ready to give.

Halloween treats before everyone is inundated with sugar. Ha!! πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by!
