Greetings! Popping in today to share a couple of cards today. Good Vibes for the weekend! 🙂
This sentiment stamp is from Neat & Tangled appropriately titled Good Vibes The background I made with Neat & Tangled’s On the Edge scallop stamp.
This next card, I colored everything with Copic markers just a tad. I borrowed this stamp from my friend Linda at our retreat last month and stamped it with Versafine on Bristol. (I clearly had prepped it to use Zig Clean Color Markers on–Ha!.) I thought I had used Copic friendly ink and paper, but I did not. Oooops! You can see a little nose or two smudged, but it could have been a lot worse! If I had this stamp, I would have just stamped it again, but I had to work with what I had. And then, I sent it to Linda, because it is the perfect card for her! (sans smudging, of course) 🙂
These stamps are from Mama Elephant called The Bunny’s Hop. I just ❤ these cuties all bundled up together. Mama Elephant has a bunch of these bunches, and they are ALL adorable, of course. The sentiment is from another set Linda generously let me use called Tea with Friends by Mama Elephant. Super ❤ that sentiment! 🙂
These cards are both postal already! I hope you mail your cards too! Speaking from experience, it is awesome to receive handmade cards (or store-bought!) in the mail. It can really brighten someone’s day so simply.
Thanks so much for stopping by again today! And thank you Linda for sharing your cute stamps and always being such a sweet friend. 🙂
Take care– Jill 🙂
Have you seen this month’s Pin-Sights Challenge over on Ellen Hutson? It’s good. Let me show you:
oooooooo so fun! I have been wanting to play along and finally got around to feeling good and made one last night. 🙂
Here’s my card:
How cute are these guys, weathering the storm? ❤
I made this card using Ellen Hutson’s super cute sets: Totally Random Sayings Vol. 1 by Julie Ebersole, Bear Ware (and dies) Bear Ware 2 (and dies). I also used Neat & Tangled’s Geometric Blooms stencil to add a smidge of background.
I watercolored these images with Distress Inks and added some stitching. 🙂
I hope you have time to jump in on this current EH Challenge too! I’d love to sneak another one in, but that could be a pipe dream. Ha!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Take care– Jill 🙂
Hi All! I wanted to share a card I finished late last night using my Daily Marker 30 Day project. I always love Kathy’s challenge and I’m really trying to use all the things I color this time–sooner than later!
I love this little My Favorite Nut set from Neat & Tangled (and dies). I also used N & T’s stencil, Polygon. I also need to point out that this is the third card I’ve made this month using purple! Likely more purple than I used in all of 2017. Haaaaaa! Putting out that olive branch, I tell ya! 🙂 I used Distress Oxide Inks for the mix: Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, and Wilted Violet.
Oh and the “forever” is from THIS Neat & Tangled set.
I colored these cuties with Copic Markers. I added some N&T sequin confetti to this card too. You can find similar ones HERE. 🙂
Take care! Jill 🙂
Hope you are enjoying a great weekend!
I wanted to share these two cards I made using these cute foxes I colored with Copic Markers for The Daily Marker’s 30 Day Challenge.
I could not enjoy these little Neat and Tangled Merry Kisses (and dies HERE) foxes more! I have been trying to get my crafty little hands on these cuties for months! LOL!
Eeeeep! Adorbs! I just added this photo frame die to an embossed/scored Neenah white panel. I stitched the whole thing down to the card base and done! 🙂
For the next card, I used my red/brown foxes and created a Valentine! ❤
For this card, I used Neat & Tangled’s Geometric Blooms Stencil. Fabulous! I brushed on some Worn Lipstick Oxide and Wilted Violet Oxide ink. Again with the PURPLE! What is going on? Haaaaa! I also used the sentiment from Be My Valentine! ❤ !!
To finish off this card, I added some super fun Neat & Tangled sequins (Thank you again, N&T!) and then some stitching. (These confetti-like sequins are my fave!)
I think that about does it! Hope you have some time to get crafty this month too! 🙂
Take care- Jill 🙂
Good Morning! Happy Saturday!
Today, I am sharing this card I finished late last night using Essentials by Ellen Bear Ware 2. How cute is this little Snowman Bear? Gah! (I thought I had the dies, but I guess not? Ha! So I fussy cut the snowbears out. 😉 )
I colored them last night with Copic Markers for The Daily Marker’s 30 Day Challenge and then popped them on a card. (Check out that Challenge HERE! Kathy is FABULOUS!)
Let me just say, I think this is the most purple I have used in years! LOL! Also, this card is BUSY! It’s a little too busy for me, but I still think it’s too cute to not share. 🙂
For the sentiment on this card, I used EH’s Warm Fuzzies stamp set. (I heat embossed it.) That set is a super fave of mine! ❤
For the background of this card, I used my friend Miriam’s Neat & Tangle stencil, Rice Paddies. There is so much detail on that stencil, it can be used for awesome things! 🙂 I used Wilted Violet Oxide ink. I also stamped the little dots from EH’s Abstract Paint Strokes.
To finish off this card, I added some Neat & Tangled sequins (Thank you, N&T!) and some stitching.
I used all the purples and violets to participate in Ellen Hutson’s Pinsight Challenge! It’s been awhile, so I am happy to participate again–dig the EH Challenges!
Check it out and join in! I think there is still a bunch of time to play along! 🙂
Have a great weekend! Jill 🙂
Happy Sunday! I thought I’d pop in to share a few cards I made for a holiday gift! I think this little Neat and Tangled bunny, Bunny Slopes (and Bunny Slopes die) by Elena Roussakis is adorable!! Eeeep! I especially love it because I am not a skilled skier. Well, I’m not even sure I can call myself a skier? My very good friend can attest to this…. quite funny! 🙂
All of these I colored with Copic Markers. I had some trouble blending my Orange/Peaches, but in the end, it’s all good. 😉
I just cut these little hills with my scissors and stitched them on at the end. Quick and simple!
I added THESE sequins for a little sparkly snow action. 🙂
For all of these, I just free cut some clouds from post-it notes and used those as a mask. I then used Distress Oxide inks and brushed those on. I used both Cracked Pistachio and Broken China.
These sentiments are (PERFECT) from one of my favorite N & T sets, Scandinavian Prints Christmas! Love this set by my friend Miriam! If you do too, you’ll enjoy THIS stencil as well. 🙂 I have yet to nab it myself. 🙂
I couldn’t decide which pics to use, so I figured I’d just share them all. 🙂
I made these to gift as a set. Maybe I should have made five then? Hmmmm…. I’m thinking now, I might just have to keep them and mail them individually? Bwwaaahahahahaa! 🙂 I have some friends that these would be perfect for!
Since it’s a gift set (now up for debate as I type this…) I’m entering it in the Neat & Tangled Little Tangles this month! I haven’t been able to play along for some time and I’ve missed it! Check it out HERE–always fun!! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you enjoy these little bunny cards as much as I do! Cuteness OVERLOAD! 🙂 ❤
Take care! Jill 🙂
Good Monday Morning to you! I was up extra early today to squeeze in a full day before the eclipse! But the weather is calling for a cloudy day, so yikes!
Anywho, on with this fun card to give! ❤️
For this card, I used Neat & Tangled’s Schoolhouse, Good Vibes, and also the Geomentric Blooms stencil with Fossilized Amber Oxide Ink. There are a couple of things I learned and I’d do differently next time, but I never know what I’m doing until I do it. My cards are thought through as I go. I don’t know if that’s good or bad? Probably both. 😉
LOVE these little mice! I colored them with Copic markers. 🙂
I’m joining in the Little Tangles Challenge this month. I was excited to see the challenge was birthday, and thought I’d catch up on making a bunch of birthday cards. Well, so far I have the one here. LOL!! But there’s still time! So, we’ll see! 🙂
Check it out HERE! 🙂 And a BIG HAPPY 5TH Birthday to Neat & Tangled! How awesome and exciting is that!?
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!
