Happy Birthday!

Poppin’ in this fabulous Friday to share a NEW Paper Smooches card! This might be the most chic card I have ever made! 🙂

I think it is such a pretty flower and I especially love that it is in a vessel, so I didn’t have to figure out to what to put it in! 🙂 This stamp is from the NEW Rosy Posy Stamp set. So pretty!! ❤

I colored this with Copic markers and die cut it out. I added the sentiment to the banner die and a Flaunters circle to ground it all.

This is not only feminine but also purple. I officially do not know who I am anymore. 🙂

The Cutest Video Hop Ever!

Helllllllooooo and welcome to our stop on The Cutest Video Hop Ever!  My son and I are VERY excited and grateful to be joining Emily Leiphart for this fun hop, inspiring the next generation of crafters!  We hope you have as much fun watching us craft with our kids–or in my case, watching my son craft! Ha!

Thanks so much to our very generous sponsors who have donated over 30 prizes for this hop. Sit back and enjoy!

My only contribution to his card was stamping and diecutting all the critters for him. You’ll be able to tell, he handled all the rest (and then some) himself. He REALLY likes to chat and has SO MUCH to say. Believe it or not, I actually trimmed this WAY down. Unfortunately or fortunately, you will miss out on all the banter about restaurants, allergies, Minecraft, 2nd Grade, etc. But you will learn about Spring, Dog Man, half birthdays, bees, snails, extra teeth and so much other goodness. I do love him so! ❤

Please note: I do not make videos. For those who do, I always admire you because it take a great deal of time to do an amateur version, I can’t imagine completing a finessed version! 🙂

Here is our video ❤ :

How about a card showing off the Rad Roses die?! It is one of my faves from this release!! 🙂

Does this just make you as happy as it makes me? Eeeep! I just think this die is about the sweetest thing. I die cut the roses twice and stacked up them up and adhered them together. I used pink and a chartruese green, but I think it would be so sweet in orange or yellow! So many options!

This sentiment is from the new stamp set called Rosy Posy–How fun is that name? ❤

I just love that it says WE miss you!

Thanks so very much for joining us– And thank you for stopping by along the way!!

Next up, be sure to visit Karin–Karin is so uber talented !!! 🙂

Take care–Jill 🙂

A little note: This is my 725 blog post! I never thought I’d write up more than say 10-12 posts, so for me, that is just…Wow! ❤

Stitching Thanks

Happy Friday! I’m here today sharing a Paper Smooches card I stitched. First, let me say that my cursive is a bit rusty–Ha! So my stitches are a wee bit off. You can see the Design Team’s cards HERE, and they have more skills in the cursive department! Haaaaa!! (Don’t tell my third grade teacher! 😉 )

Of course, I still think it is a sweet card, I’m just off a couple of stitches. 😉 I kept it very simple so the stitching could shine. I added a couple of little hearts for some ❤ and some simple sewing . (I used a green DMC floss for the Thanks.)

The Paper Smooches stitching dies are just delightful and I love that they give cards a different kind of flare. Plus, when I’m organized ahead of time, I like to take them with me and stitch them on the go. Besides coloring, I can’t really haul all the card making stuff along anywhere, so I love this! 😉

The New Paper Smooches release is all available HERE. Be sure to check out the fun on the Paper Smooches Blog!!

Stitched Heart

Happy Weekend–Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I’m off a couple of days on sharing my Paper Smooches card this week. I was out-of-town last weekend having lots of crafty fun and have been catching up ever since!!  🙂 SO worth it though! ❤

Well, I adore the Paper Smooches stitching dies, and this new batch is no exception, for sure!

I decided this one didn’t even need a sentiment, because the stitched heart says it all! I used the recently released Flaunters dies to give it a center frame and stitched the lower portion on. I added everything on to a scored the panel. That heart just makes me smile! I cannot wait to make more of these!! 🙂
