Pinkfresh Studio: New April Release

Hello! I am excited to be here today to share a couple cards I made with the lovely NEW April ย release from Pinkfresh Studio! Hopefully you have arrived here from Jenny’s Blog. If not be sure to hop back there by using THIS link.

First up, I am excited about this new Take Care die because I haven’t always wanted this sentiment! ๐Ÿ™‚

I used strips of scrap cardstock to create the Take Care and I am enjoying how that worked out. The Leafy Branch is so simple and perfect for many things, but I couldn’t resist a good white on white myself. I think this die would work awesome in a Rainbow of colors.

Next up, I have the new Butterflies stamp set. First there is the stamp set, and theย Butterflies die set and the Butterflies Stencil set.

This was a fun and different way for me to stamp, die cut and stencil a stamp. First, you stamp the Butterflies stamp set and then, you use the different Butterflies Stencil layers to fill in the Butterflies wings. Finally, to finish it off, you use the Butterflies die. What’s an added bonus is that the stamps are all one piece, as is the die. So you don’t have to line up two dies, you just line up both, all at once! ๐Ÿ™‚

For this, I had fun using the Pinkfresh Ink Cubes which come in a great sets perfect for layering. I used the Rise & Shine and Morning Sky. I was loving trying all the color combos with the inks, but landed on this one as my favorite, for the day. Ha! It’s fun to give these little wings a little foam tape and a pop up to make it fly! ๐Ÿ™‚

Pinkfresh Studio: August! (+Giveaway!)

Hello and Happy Friday to us all! I am excited to be here today to share a couple cards I made with the lovely NEW August release from Pinkfresh Studio!

Hopefully you have arrived fromย Hussena’s Blog. If not, be sure to hop back HERE to not miss it!

Yay!! You are going to be loving the pretties in this release! Also, lots of great sentiments and alphabet dies–always a go-to! So, let’s get on with it, shall we?

This first card uses the new Thankful for Friends stamp set and Thankful for Friends coordinating die.

I always love a burst of color behind a black and white floral image, so I went with that idea here. I enjoy when flowers have enough detail to shine in black and white to make this technique work.

And this sentiment is the perfection for so many cards I send out! โค This card could easily be replicated using a bunch of the different sentiments from the set. I’m not going to lie: I debated about which one to use for this card! They are all lovely and so fitting for so many friends. โค

Next up, I have the new Blushing Floral to create this gorgeous background detail paired with the new Heather Uppercase dies. What I enjoy, is that is time, the B&W is the background vs. the foreground and how that makes these images shine too! This time I went with the pop of color up frontย  with the Alpha dies, using slightly more subtle colors.

I definitely had the striped cardstock on my mind while making these cards, since I used that again here for this card. This alpha set has this fun outline that you can die cut either in the same cardstock or use a different color like I did here for this HI. ๐Ÿ™‚ I think it would also be fun to just use the outline to create a fun sentiment…. I think I am going to try and do that and add that tomorrow? We’ll see! ๐Ÿ™‚

Again, with this detailed floral, I find I often like to let it shine in black and white. I’m certain there will be amazing examples of these stamps being colored on the hop today! I can’t wait to see them myself–sure to be WOW’d!!

Before I forget GIVEAWAYS!!!ย

Party Time with Rainbows!

Happy Sunday! Hope your weekend has been great thus far! I’m still waiting to get back to my normal self, with some energy and feeling good, but in the meantime, thought I’d share a few cards I made a couple of weeks back.

These stamps were gifted to us at our recent retreat from Pinkfresh Studio-Thank You! Such fun! I am particularly a fan of this sweet set called Party Animal. I thought I’d attempt a bold, but speedy birthday card and it worked out swimmingly! ๐Ÿ™‚

First I pieced together three panels of different colored scraps and then die cut the frame around it for continuity. I then stamped out my images for a fun little party! ๐Ÿ™‚

These next two cards I had to make using the Rainbow in the set Dream On. I always love a rainbow! ๐Ÿ™‚ Pssssst…. I see you can grab this Dream On set for a super deal right now! Wow!

For these, I stamped, Copic colored, and fussy cut out all the images. I added them to THIS awesome Reverse Confetti tag, Sunburst Tag Layer. I added sequins as a shaker to the one, but I wasn’t convinced I completely loved that, so I kept the other one more simple. The jury is out on which I like better overall? ๐Ÿ™‚

I made these for some crafty friends! Hope it brightens their mailboxes! โค

Have an awesome week ahead! Enjoy!

Take care! Jill ๐Ÿ™‚
