Cheer and Joy! NEW Release from Simon Says Stamp!

There is a New Release available over at Simon Says Stamp HERE—Β It’s called Cheer and Joy! I had fun using the new Outline Christmas Bulbs HERE! I have said it before and I’ll say it again, the Christmas bulb is about my favorite holiday season “icon”, if you will. ❀ ! So glad SSS was intuitive on this when sending me this awesome stamp! πŸ˜‰

You can shop the whole new release Cheer and Joy release HERE!

I stamped the whole panel and watercolored it in with Zig Markers. Oh how I love some rainbow colors all together! πŸ™‚

If I made this again, I’d adhere the panel use foam tape to give it some oomph, but I adhered it down so good, it was NOT coming off for me to redo it! Sometimes late at night, I’m not firing on all cylinders!Β  ha!

Oh and the sentiment is from the recently released Paper Smooches Stamptember set! And the confetti sequins are from Honey Bee Stamps called Bokeh Lights! Love them!

I love to send handmade thank you notes for the holiday and this one will be fun to have on hand and ready to roll!Β

Again this new stamp from SSS:Β Outline Christmas Bulbs–So FUN! The whole Cheer and Joy release can be found HERE.

Thanks to Simon Says Stamp for having me along to celebrate this fun NEW holiday release!

STAMPtember with Paper Smooches!

Oh Happy Day! Paper Smooches has a festively autumn collaboration with Simon Says Stamp for STAMPtember!! You can find this Paper Smooches Deco Fall set HERE.

I love that these are solid images that can be stamped in fall colors …or any colors!!

First up I have this sweet card heavily inspired by my friend Lori last weekend. She made a set of beautiful cards that has clearly stuck with me, because I created this inspired by her cards. ❀

I masked off a center portion of this card and blending on some ink, scoring it to polish if off. I added this sweet acorn after I fussy cut it out.
I just thought it turned out so sweet. πŸ™‚

Next up, is the all about Autumn card! I used all the fall colors on it–my fave!

Welcome Autumn! Love these sweet leaves! They make quick work of festive cards. πŸ™‚

I added some stitching to polish it all off. πŸ™‚ This PSΒ  Deco Fall set is a fabulous set to celebrate Fall!

STAMPtember with Tim Holtz!

Today, I’m sharing a card with Tim Holtz’s Simon Says Stamp  STAMPtember set! You can find this  set by Tim Holtz HERE.

I was with friends this past weekend and a bunch of us created a card with this set to share. A big shout out to my friend Latisha who took this photograph for me. You can tell I didn’t take it because it looks so lovely! πŸ™‚

I added some watercolor craziness and stamped this dude on there. Perfect for Halloween! πŸŽƒ

There is nothing about this photo that looks like it came from me, right?! Ha! The stamp set was my friend Nichol’s, that she shared with us. It’s not my usual style. There is no stitching because I was away from home. AND it’s not my photography. But, as I tell myself all the time, it’s good to fly out of your comfort zone now and again or else you get stuck in it forever.

Hopefully you can find all the images of the cards my crafty friends made with this set too–over at Simon Says Stamp. Because, let me just tell you, they have MAD skills!! ❀

STAMPtember with Honey Bee Stamps!

Fun news! Honey Bee Stamps has a beautiful collaboration with Simon Says Stamp for STAMPtember!! You can find this lovely set called Fall Beauty HERE.

The main feature stamp can hold the card on it’s own, so it doesn’t take much to make it shine. I think there are going to be some awesome examples of this lovely colored!

I kept things simple, because I wanted to make a card set.

I fussy cut out the edge of the stamp after white heat embossing it. I love when detailed stamps are kept simple–the stamp does all the work!

Fall Colors: Perfect!

These sweet sentiments make it easy to complete the simple cards!

Lastly, because I love Fall, I had to make a fall card to use this sentiment. For this I squished a bunch of Distress Inks to create the mish mash of color.

I white heat embossed the one leaf repeatedly and added some splats and stitching to polish it all off.

Autumn changing is beautiful! My FAVORITE! πŸ™‚

Again, here is the full set, Fall Beauty, so you can see all the lovely!

September is a month of many things in my world, and one of the fantastically fun things for me is: STAMPtember from Simon Says Stamp! Today is the Blog Party!! πŸ™‚

Today, I’m sharing a card I made using the new Scripty Happy Birthday Die. This Happy Birthday die can pretty much be used for all Birthday cards, don’t you think? πŸ™‚ Check it out HERE.

This Scripty Happy Birthday die has the back plate, which makes it PERFECT for shaker cards!Β  πŸ™‚

I added a bazillion little sequins and bits from my stash. I can’t even tell you where they are from, because I just kept throwing colors in! πŸ™‚

I scored the panel and added some stitching for added texture. I would super love to receive a colorful happy card like this, so I’m hoping someone else will too!

Believe in You! NEW Release from SSS!

There is a New Release available over at Simon Says Stamp HERE—Β It’s called Believe in You! I had fun using the new Greetings Mix 1. So. Many. Sentiments. ❀

A good sentiment is gold to me, and a good sentiment set, well, multiply gold by a lot, and that’s this set. Haaaa! πŸ˜‰

So I made a few cards, trying to use simple design elements, focusing more on the sentiments. It’s fun to keep it simple and get enjoyable results. πŸ™‚

This is the inside…Cloudy then rainbows. πŸ™‚ This is Simon Says Stamp Clouds for Days stencil.

Here’s a photo of the whole card:

Next up, is this sweet little ditty–I just love stripes. FOREVER. πŸ™‚

Scraps, stitching and a good sentiment. Done. πŸ™‚

This set is FULL of sentiments! FULL! It’s big!

Next up, is a blended card:

The sentiment is so bold, I thought this was good to go with some scoring and stitching! Bonus: Easily mailing friendly! πŸ™‚

Lastly, I just wanted to try a quick Thank You card! This is one of the card types I use most often, so I wanted to try and make something quick and simple. I used two different blue inks and one red. It’s hard to see the differentiation of blues in this photo, but it’s there in person. πŸ™‚

This one is perfect for my son to be able to write out and send. πŸ™‚

I hope you have found some clean and simple inspiration here today! It seems like the summery thing to do–keep it simple! πŸ™‚ Thanks to Simon Says Stamp for having me along to celebrate this fun NEW release!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend ahead!

Rest and Refresh! NEW Release from SSS!

There is a New Release available over at Simon Says Stamp HERE— It’s called Rest and Refresh! I has the pleasure to use the sweet new Filigree Wreath.

I decided to make a “few” cards using this fun new wreath…figuring if I was going to die cut all these pieces, I might as well! I love to die cut inlay and I decided I need to watch some TV and zone out, so the combo worked out well. It’s like putting together a puzzle. The key is not lose any of the little bits–that is actually a bit tricky. πŸ™‚

All the little bits add such detail, I kept the rest of these cards pretty simple from there.

Here it is in all green!

I kinda really dig the one color! πŸ™‚

Here’s another very clean one. I’m not a big on adornments for Sympathy cards.

I was going to do all white, but decided to add this colored panel behind.

And lastly another colorful one:

I decided I’d make the dots black on this one, and I don’t think I used the correct pen unfortunately. I’m probably the only one who notices that though. πŸ˜‰

I thought the lot of these turned out lovely and they are great for mailing because they are flat. This new Filigree Wreath die has so much detail and sweetness, I felt I could keep the rest very clean. β™₯️

I used sentiments from the new Paper Smooches set Sunnyville and the previously released Sympathy Sampler. The “Be You” sentiment is from Concord & 9th’s Rainbow Wishes.

Thanks to Simon Says Stamp for having me along to celebrate this fun NEW release!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Friday!

Take care–Jill
