Believe in You! NEW Release from SSS!

There is a New Release available over at Simon Says Stamp HERE—Β It’s called Believe in You! I had fun using the new Greetings Mix 1. So. Many. Sentiments. ❀

A good sentiment is gold to me, and a good sentiment set, well, multiply gold by a lot, and that’s this set. Haaaa! πŸ˜‰

So I made a few cards, trying to use simple design elements, focusing more on the sentiments. It’s fun to keep it simple and get enjoyable results. πŸ™‚

This is the inside…Cloudy then rainbows. πŸ™‚ This is Simon Says Stamp Clouds for Days stencil.

Here’s a photo of the whole card:

Next up, is this sweet little ditty–I just love stripes. FOREVER. πŸ™‚

Scraps, stitching and a good sentiment. Done. πŸ™‚

This set is FULL of sentiments! FULL! It’s big!

Next up, is a blended card:

The sentiment is so bold, I thought this was good to go with some scoring and stitching! Bonus: Easily mailing friendly! πŸ™‚

Lastly, I just wanted to try a quick Thank You card! This is one of the card types I use most often, so I wanted to try and make something quick and simple. I used two different blue inks and one red. It’s hard to see the differentiation of blues in this photo, but it’s there in person. πŸ™‚

This one is perfect for my son to be able to write out and send. πŸ™‚

I hope you have found some clean and simple inspiration here today! It seems like the summery thing to do–keep it simple! πŸ™‚ Thanks to Simon Says Stamp for having me along to celebrate this fun NEW release!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend ahead!

Take care–Jill

Rest and Refresh! NEW Release from SSS!

There is a New Release available over at Simon Says Stamp HERE— It’s called Rest and Refresh! I has the pleasure to use the sweet new Filigree Wreath.

I decided to make a “few” cards using this fun new wreath…figuring if I was going to die cut all these pieces, I might as well! I love to die cut inlay and I decided I need to watch some TV and zone out, so the combo worked out well. It’s like putting together a puzzle. The key is not lose any of the little bits–that is actually a bit tricky. πŸ™‚

All the little bits add such detail, I kept the rest of these cards pretty simple from there.

Here it is in all green!

I kinda really dig the one color! πŸ™‚

Here’s another very clean one. I’m not a big on adornments for Sympathy cards.

I was going to do all white, but decided to add this colored panel behind.

And lastly another colorful one:

I decided I’d make the dots black on this one, and I don’t think I used the correct pen unfortunately. I’m probably the only one who notices that though. πŸ˜‰

I thought the lot of these turned out lovely and they are great for mailing because they are flat. This new Filigree Wreath die has so much detail and sweetness, I felt I could keep the rest very clean. β™₯️

I used sentiments from the new Paper Smooches set Sunnyville and the previously released Sympathy Sampler. The “Be You” sentiment is from Concord & 9th’s Rainbow Wishes.

Thanks to Simon Says Stamp for having me along to celebrate this fun NEW release!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Friday!

Celebrate You! NEW Release from SSS!

There is a New Release available over at Simon Says Stamp HERE—Β It’s called Celebrate You! I used the new Confetti Stencil.

Confetti/sprinkles and me are tight!! I just love the rainbowness (yes, that’s a word now πŸ˜‰ ), so I ran with that for this card. πŸ™‚

For these cards, I used Distress Oxide inks and brushes to blend the inks on.Β  I also added some wonky stitching and some clear Nuvo drops. The sentiment is from The Stamp Market and unfortunately is not available anymore. But I think this Stamp Market sentiment set would definitely do the trick: Double Take or this NEW Alpha set is one I think would be super fun to use Skinny Upper Alphabet. β™₯️

Thanks to Simon Says Stamp for having me along to celebrate this fun NEW release! Can’t wait to see all the other fun new stuff!

Thanks for stopping by!

Blossoms & Butterflies NEW Release from SSS!

There is a New Release available over at Simon Says Stamp HERE. It’s called Blossoms & Butterflies! I used the new Mesh Stencil.

I love stencils because you can do so much free wheeling with them! πŸ™‚

For these cards, I also used SSS sentiments and dies: You’re Doing Awesome die, Love Messages, and Loving Heart. I blended a few different Distress Oxide inks on each card after masking off and area.

I call this photo series, my urban series–ha!! I made these late last night and had to photo on my commute to work this morning :). Figured I’d make hay! I did get some odd looks πŸ˜‰.

This card, I stitched in the white rows of the stencil. It’s very difficult to see in this photo though. I masked this sentiment to just use the first part–I thought this sentiment was fun and different to use for a fellow volunteer friend. β™₯️

Thanks to Simon Says Stamp for having me along to celebrate their latest release! Can’t wait to see all the other new goodies!

Thanks for stopping by!

New from Simon Says Stamp!

There is a New Release available over at Simon Says Stamp HERE. It’s called Fresh Bloom! I used the new Blossoming.

set today to make this card! πŸ™‚

Fresh Beginnings–Spring! Hooray for that! πŸ™‚

I stamped everything in Copic friendly ink so I could color that little bird in red and perch him on the tree. I wanted the swing to hang from this branch, but the strings weren’t long enough. So I just took a black pen and elongated those. πŸ™‚ I added some scoring and stitching to the card panel and adhered it all down. πŸ™‚

For this card, I also added the Paper Smooches Flaunters dies. ❀

Thanks to Simon Says Stamp for having me along to celebrate this release! Springtastic!

You Are Loved! New Release from SSS!

There is a newΒ You Are LovedΒ releaseΒ  available over at Simon Says Stamp HERE. I used the new Love Messages sentiment set today to make this tropically card! πŸ™‚ (Yes, that’s a word. πŸ˜‰ )

I masked off a small area and added on some Distress Oxide Inks: Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade and Peacock Feathers. Then I white heat embossed this sentiment over top.

I wanted to send this card now to warm up a mailbox, so I kept it more neutral vs. Valentine’s themed. Of course,Β  you can use this anytime and for ❀ day! πŸ™‚

This is is FULL of sweet sentiments to give to people. I stamped on inside and then forgot to photograph before sealing the envelope. Check out the set–you’ll see what I mean πŸ˜‰ . Sometimes you just need to send a little love, and today I do!

Thanks for Simon Says Stamp for having me along to celebrate this lovely release πŸ˜‰ ! ❀

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Wednesday!
