September is a month of many things, and one of the fantastic things is: STAMPtember from Simon Says Stamp!
I have the good pleasure of sharing this new stamp set: Birthday Numbers!! Well, perfect timing as our son has his big #8 coming up in September!! He’ll get a kick out of this one. 🙂
How awesome are these big bold numbers!? I thought this one would like to smile and float! 🙂
I masked & stamped these images all out. Then I colored them with Copic Markers and then masked them off again with Post-its to add the background clouds. I covered the balloons in clear Nuvo. I think I prefer Glossy Accents for this type of application, but I was lucky to just find the Nuvo. LOL.
Fabulousness! There are coordinating dies HERE that you can also use to create with. I think they’d make personalized birthday cards a snap.
Next up, I thought it would be fun to paper piece a “7”:
And of course, the seven wanted some big eyes too! 🙂
For this card, I used a lot of patterned paper, but mostly the stamps make it the party card that it is! So fun!
Be sure to check out the SSS Blog HERE to get in on all the prize action, links, and PARTY!! 🙂
Thanks for Simon Says Stamp for having me along to celebrate this release! ❤

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your STAMPtember!
Ooooo exciting day today!! There is a new release over at Simon Says Stamp called Friendly Frolic and it is ginormous! Check it all out HERE!
I had the good fortune of making a couple of fun cards using this awesome new cover plate: Simon Says Stamp DIAMOND PATTERN Wafer Dies.
Here they are! 🙂
I first blended color on a panel and then die cut it out, piecing all these bits in. Don’t lose track! 🙂 I can’t wait to cut this out again using a bunch of different colors of bold cardstock. oooooo yes! 😉
These sentiments are both from the SSS set: Clear Stamps BIG BIRTHDAY WISHES. Bold sentiments make it quick and easy!
Afterward, I obviously had a whole panel of pretty cardstock, so I just cut that into strips for this card:
ahhhhh rainbow sherbet! 🙂 I used Distress Oxide Inks for the ink blending and just finished it off with some scoring and some stitching.
Be sure to check out the whole release HERE! It is great fun with lots of stuff to follow on the SSS blog HERE.
Thanks for Simon Says Stamp for having me along for the fun to celebrate this release! ❤ I’m off to make my wishlist….shhhhhhh 😉
And thank YOU for stopping by!
Hello! Popping in today with a fun little card to pop in the mail very soon!
How cute is this dynamic little bundle of friends? Super cute! I borrowed this stamp at our retreat in March, and stamped it out then. My friend Caly was very generous, and helped me die cut this out with her Scan n Cut. Have you ever used one of those machines? Wow. It was pretty cool! 🙂
I scored this panel, added a strip of washi tape, stitched the panel to the card base, and added on the sentiment. I colored these critters last night with Copic markers and then popped them on with some foam tape. I should have colored them all silly colors, but for some reason, I started with the lion and he looks a little more realistic than the others. LOL! Barely. 😉
This stamp set is called Best Friends, and can be found on the Simon Says Stamp shop.
And perfect timing because I can enter this for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge HERE. The current challenge is Anything Goes! Whoohoooo!
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
Happy [Technique] Tuesday! Exciting news about a new Simon Says Stamp/Technique Tuesday STAMPtember Set in the house! You can check out the new set, Sassy You’re Not Normal (haaaa!) HERE! It is SUPER funny!
I thought I’d share some cards I made with this new set. I had the foresight to think ahead and make a few at once. There were originally 6, but I was having some trouble stamping that night, (LOL!!) so only three made it to the finish line! Haaaaa! 🙂
For these cards, I also used the delightful Enjoyed Layered Flower Stamp set. Isn’t that Sunflower fun!?
These new sentiments on this SS/TT set are so freaking awesome and CRACK ME UP!! 🙂
How funny about the dryer!? So true! I stamped the dryer repeatedly in orange and gray inks. 🙂
And to finish off, I had to also use this sentiment, so I colored for Kathy’s Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge with it! 🙂 Have you joined in The Daily Marker 30 Day? There’s still time! It’s quite fun and great practice! I have no idea how Kathy keeps up with all?!! Amazing! You can check out all my misgivings and successes HERE on Instagram!
Be sure to hop over and check out the new STAMPtember Goodies from Simon Says Stamp HERE and everything new from Technique Tuesday HERE! 🙂 Lots of fun stuff to add to your wish list! Though this Technique Tuesday/Simon Says Stamp set, Sassy You’re Not Normal set is a Limited Edition! So don’t delay! 🙂
Have an awesome week!
Take care- Jill 🙂
Popping in with a super quick card. Well, super quick card in the end. Ever sit there and tinker along for an hour or so, and then make a card in less than 5 minutes? Yup, that’s this one! Haaaaa!
Such a funky, fresh, summer color combo. Just stamped all the candles, then heat embossed the sentiment over top. I finished it off with some scoring lines. And of course, my new technique of just holding the card to snap a photo. Seriously. The photographing saga will never end. LOL. But it has severely improved over the years, so there’s that! 🙂
I won this Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp on Instagram a month or so back. I was WAY excited!! I’ve never had a card kit before and who doesn’t love a fun win?! Now, if I could just commit to making birthday cards to have on the ready!! 🙂 😉
Thank you, Simon Says Stamp!! Super cool!! ❤
A quick and simple one! Thanks for stopping by–Enjoy your weekend!!
