ALL the Rainbows from Taylored Expressions

Oh it’s another day of colorful FUN over at Taylored Expressions! RAINBOWS and much more!!!! All the fun is available over at Taylored Expressions Today, July 7th right HERE!!

A whole lot of sweetness, that’s for sure! Some of the newly available products are from the previously released Somewhere Over the Rainbow Kit. You can see more cards ideas in my post for that HERE. Others are being released for the first time. πŸ™‚ And oh boy, are they cute!

For these first two cards, they are using all the same products and colors, but isn’t it amazing that they look quite different? Or is that just me?

This is the Over the Rainbow Die, Rainbow Cloud Duo and Over the Rainbow stamp set.

This one is a little different order and I love it!

For these cards, I embossed theΒ  background with TE’s Cloudy Days Embossing folder and then inlaid the felt die cuts. I added some stitching to finish them off.

These clouds are the perfect finishing touch. There are two cloud dies in the kit. One is simple and the other has the little pierced dots on it. The dots don’t show up on felt of course, but on cardstock, they are a great detail!

I do love the TE Wool Felt! It cuts like butta in a die cut machine, just in case you haven’t ever tried it.

Next up, I am using this super sweet new set of stamps called Brighter Days. Warning: Adorable! πŸ™‚

I created this background with the Rectangle Masking Stencil and just the Heart layer from the Puppy Love Layering stencil set.

I colored the rainbow with Copics and added in to the panel along with some stitching. I think this turned out to be a sweet and cheery card in the end.

Next up, this sweet little shaker with the cutest cloud! I gave the cloud some googley eyes to add to the fun and super cuteness. Inside the shaker card is the TE Sparkly Stars and Vanilla Creme shaker bits.

For the background, I added some very faint stenciling with the Splash stencil for some “rain” if you will.

Gah! It’s so fun! The shaker bit added something a little extra. ❀

Next up, this sweet little umbrella! Showered with Love! This could be great for an every day kinda card or wouldn’t it be fun for a wedding shower or baby shower too? Changing up the colors a bit could change the entire feeling. πŸ™‚

I colored the one umbrella with Copics and die cut it out, adding it with foam adhesive to the background of umbrellas. I recommend stamping the panel and then putting the one you colored on top. This will help with placement–I’ve learned this lesson many a times. πŸ˜‰

Finally, I have these sweet rain boots with the RAINBOW!!

I used the Square Window Masking stencil with Earl Gray ink for the Brighter Skies sentiment.

These new illustrations are just the sweetest and sure to brighten any mailbox or doorstep you send it to. πŸ™‚

I just love the rainbow goodness! ❀

Taylored Expressions: Farm Kit Release!

Welcome back! Today we are celebrating a fun release for the Farm Kit ReleaseΒ from Taylored Expressions! This set is available over at Taylored Expressions TODAY, June 30th.

These little farm animals are adorable and the bonus is, their heads and bodies are two different stamps. The fun of this is that you can tilt their heads however you’d like and you can add the TE Wobblers! And they are included in the kit.

First up, I had to use the horse and the barn. I colored everything with Copic Markers and fussy cut out the barn. For the background, I used the new Grass Stencil (hooray!) as well as the Set the Scene-Cloud Stencils I already had. I die cut all that out with the Frame in Frame 2 die.

I love this punny sentiment, and of course, the fun sticker that matches when I pop it in the mail! πŸ™‚

There is a handful of envelopes included in the kit, so you are all set to make and send these fun cards out straightaway!

Next up, I had to use the sweet little cow. And to make her even sweeter, I used the Gingham Background stamp in the kit and did so in Cupcake. To create just this rectangle of inked space, I used the TE Masking Stencils-Rectangles and blended in some Cupcake ink first, using the TE Blender Brushes. After that, I stamped the Gingham stamp tone on tone again using Cupcake. Because I left the Rectangle Masking Stencil on, it really only stamped in the center of the area, and I liked the look of that. πŸ˜‰

It’s an Udder Birthday!! Gahhh! I do love puns! πŸ™‚ I added some scoring and cut it all out with the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets.

I thought this little cutie was so sweet and would be fun to receive in the mail for one’s birthday! πŸ™‚

Lastly, I had to get this little Chickie on a card! πŸ™‚

In addition to the grass stencil, I used the Hexagon Masking Stencil and the Here Comes the Sun stencils to create this background for my Copic colored elements. Just Chicken In! I ❀ it! πŸ™‚

The new Taylored Expressions Farm Kit Release is so fun! I so enjoy all the little goodies inside and that they are all in a great pouch with the cute Farm Kit sticker on it. This makes it easy to store and keep them all together. I have this one next to my previously released TE Rainbow Card Kit. πŸ™‚

Velcro Shoes…

Happy Sunday! I’m just popping in with a funΒ Taylored Expressions card I made for a friend’s birthday. She also appreciates said humor, so I’m thinking she got a laugh out of this one! πŸ™‚

This is the Hip Hop Bunny, lots of Simple Strips and the Confetti Toss Background. I colored him with Copics eons ago, and he has been sitting on my desk looking at me. So finally, this snarky little dude made it on a card. πŸ™‚

I used the TE Rectangle Masking stencil and TE Blending Brushes and voila! πŸ™‚ Birthday fun! I’m thinking now, I maybe should have put a color after “Let the Celebration Begin:”… haaaa! But it’s enjoyable nonetheless. ❀

Happy Dad’s Day!

Hola! Today I am just popping in to share a couple of cards I made for Father’s Day. πŸ™‚

First up, I have this one using fun Avery Elle goodies:

I have had the AE set The Man for what feels like forever, but I use it, so I keep it. πŸ™‚ The others are the SEA-Prise and the Grand Photo Die (this one is on SALE HERE.).

I thought this one turned out fun with some blending and some foam tape and boom! πŸ™‚ Mailed!

Next, I have this Plaidarific card I made using Taylored Expressions. I used Caps Lock Dad, Dadisms and the recently released Plaid Layering Stencil.

I do love the Plaid Layering Stencil. πŸ™‚

That’s all from me today. Hope your weekend is a good one! πŸ™‚

Taylored Expressions: New Release!

Happy Tuesday! The new releaseΒ  from Taylored Expressions is available NOW–find them all available over at Taylored Expressions HERE.

I had stamped and colored (with Copic Markers) more sweet images from Max & Millie, so I decided to get them onto cards! Which honestly, is somewhat of a feat because I often just let them collect in a pile for “later”. Ha! But I thought if I kept these simple, I’d get them made and mailed! πŸ™‚

First up –This one that makes me laugh! Meh. πŸ™‚

Quick background with the Grid Background stamp and a little window and done! πŸ™‚

Next, I have this even simpler one with the cute image and some scoring! I love simple cards! And they are more likely to get made and mailed out sometimes. πŸ™‚

Gah! How cute are these new Max & Millie stamps?! ❀

Taylored Expressions: Cat Lover’s Release!

Welcome back! Today we are celebrating a new release for the Cat Lover’s out there from Taylored Expressions!Β All the new products will be available over at Taylored Expressions tomorrow, June 16th. This release is full of sweet little feline friends!

For my first card here today, I used the new Max & Millie set– Be warned, it’s adorable!!

I mean really? How cutie patootie is this little critter!!? And this sentiment is perfection for this sweet image!

I used the Circle Masking Stencils in combination with the Polka Party stencil. I just did a double mask. πŸ™‚ It turned out fun and I love the idea of the cheese imagery being mimicked.

Next up, I used the new Loyal Friend stamp set. On this card, I think we could say I did a triple mask? Ha! I used the Rectangle Masking Stencils to create an overall border. Then I used the Heart Masking Stencil to create the heart. I used both positive and negative on the Heart Stencil, masking where I wanted the hearts and paw prints to be and not be.

The Puppy Love Layering stencils work perfectly to create a sweet backdrop for the message on this card. (just don’t tell the kitties it’s called Puppy Love. πŸ˜‰ )

Such a heartfelt sentiment to send someone who really needs it.

I’ve really been into the Cupcake and Sprinkles colors lately…wondering if I am craving baked goods or just these colors? ha! πŸ™‚

I highly recommend Pixie Spray in combo with your TE Blender Brushes to make all your stenciling action a little more fun and easy peasy! πŸ™‚

One last card for today–this cutie little mouse from the Max & Millie set! He wanted to send a smile! πŸ™‚ I colored him with Copic Markers and die cut him out.

I used the Hinged Insta Frames and the Lots of Love stencil to create a little space for him on this card. πŸ™‚

I finished it off with some stitching and some Drip Drops. He’s ready to mail! πŸ™‚

Taylored Expressions: Patriotic Release!

Happy non-official Summer! We are sneaking a new release  today for  Taylored Expressions! All the new products will be available over at Taylored Expressions tomorrow, June 2nd. This release is full of fun patriotic pride–but also can be used for everyday events too!

For my first card here today, I used the new Masking Star Stencils and the new Mini Strips- Patriotic! Yessss! New Mini Strips!

I also used the just previously released Plaid Layering Stencil over top the Masking Star Stencil. Double stencil action! This turned out so swimmingly! πŸ™‚

Too keep the Masking Star Stencil train going, check out this alternate way of using it for everyday fun! I thought this was perfect to send a friend that just helped make me laugh along the crazy ride lately. πŸ™‚

I also stamped the Fireworks Background-Stamp to help create a *twinkly* background–just the background stamp alone stamps awesome for backgrounds. I used two sets of Simple Strips for this card’s sentiment–Simple Strips- Friendship and Mini Strips-Life Saver. For this card, I also used the Masking Stencil-Rectangle & TE Blender Brushes to create a little color fade in the background before scoring around it to frame it further.

Alrighty–now…Let’s switch gears to that Fireworks Background-Stamp and Stencil–Just a warning–it’s super fun and very addictive. πŸ™‚ I used this Stencil and Stamp combo to create a fun Birthday card! Who wouldn’t want a festive display of happy for their big day?

This combo in ingenious…. First, you stamp the Starry Background. After that, you take one of the Firework stencils and line it up with the stars. (It doesn’t matter which one you use first.) After that, you take the second stencil and repeat. The beauty is: You can create different color sprays for each firework. Sure did love that and had so much fun thinking of all the different things to make!

For this one, I added a little Nuvo sparkle action to create some more pizazz!

Next up, I’m back to the Patriotic vibe. This one uses the new Starry Background Stamp along with the Starry Stencil! Another great set to create a layered look. You can just stamp the Starry background and be done by coloring it or blending over it entirely or some many other things! OR you can use the Starry Stencil with the stamp, like I did to create a pattern…. or blend all the stars with the same color ink. So many possibilities, just to name a few!

Bonus–there is a die that cuts all the stars out! I didn’t use it here, but it’s pretty awesome for a 1-2-3!

I first stamped the Starry Background with Versamark and then added clear embossing powder over top. After that, I sprayed my stencil with Pixie Spray (Pixie Spray is clutch!) and blended on all the inks with the TE Blender Brushes. I just masked off the surrounding stars a bit to protect them from the other colors. Super easy to do! I finished it all off with some more sentiments from the forthcoming Mini Strips-Patriotic.

And I have one last card for you here today–this one again uses the Masking Stencils Stars and Mini Strips-Patriotic very simply.

I wanted to keep it simple because I thought if I had a design I liked that was fairly simple and flat for mailing, I might make a handful and actually get them out this summer! πŸ™‚

I used the TE Blender Brushes again here and just simply covered up the stars I didn’t want to blend with some post it notes. Blend, blend and done! I also added a little Nuvo sparkle to this one to finish it off.

Thank you, Teachers! Congrats Grads!

Hiya! Today I am just popping in to share a few cards I made for some teachers and staff at school to wrap up the school year. What a year it ended up being…! Oh and also, I’m sharing a couple Grad cards! πŸ™‚

First up, I have these very simple but delightful cards I made using Taylored Expressions. The foil is the TE exclusive Rainbow Bright Deco foil. And the apples are the pre printed Apple of My Eye cardstock apples. Having these pre printed makes things go wicked fast! πŸ™‚ Love that. Just die cut them out after with the Apple Stacklets.

These cards are all very similar and I didn’t add anything beyond some score lines and stitching. But I like how they turned out. πŸ™‚

I also learned that I prefer foiling horizontally with the rainbow foil vs. vertically. I figure if I type that here, I might remember for next time. πŸ™‚

Lastly, I thought I’d share a cute little apple card that I made a few of, using some older Papertrey stamps my friend “long term loaned” me. πŸ˜‰

Again, kept them simple with some scoring and stitching, but I love the Muchas Gracias! πŸ™‚

The photos didn’t pick up the scoring too much, which kind of added the whole backdrop to the card. ha! Fortunately in person, they have that little extra somethin somethin. πŸ™‚

Next up, I have some Grad Cards! (and I remembered to stamp the envelopes!!) Hooray! The Taylored Expressions Boxed in Basics-Grad 2020 cards HERE are the key ingredient here! πŸ™‚

Everything else here is also Taylored Expressions: Banner Year Stamp and Die Combo and The Tassel (envelopes).

These turned out fun! I have one more to finish up. But I had to get these two in the mail. πŸ™‚

I used TE’s Rectangle Masking Stencil for the card base, inspired by Heather Nichols. She did this in a video, making a bundle of cards! You’ll have to check that out on the TE Blog. Loved this idea because the mask fits swimmingly! ❀

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy end of the School year to all the kiddos, teachers and staff out there. And HUGE Congrats to the many in the Class of 2020! What a ride!

Take care πŸ™‚
