Merry Blooms Kit from Taylored Expressions–Merry Merry!

Today, there is a NEW Kit available over atΒ  Taylored Expressions and it is VERY Merry! And very Bloomy. Is that a word? It is now. πŸ˜„! This kit is the perfect scenario if you just want to create a good stack of cards and get ahead for your holiday card mailings. It’s all there for you, you just need ink! πŸ™‚

I decided to try out a couple different things with my cards here today.

First up, let’s talk about this card, because I think it might very well be my favorite! πŸ™‚ It is so different from anything I have made and honestly, I’m not entirely sure how it happened. ha!

For these flowers, I used the following ink colors, blended on with TE Blending Brushes: Sea Salt, Salt Water Taffy, Confetti Cake, Potato Chip and Mushroom. I started first with the Sea Salt adding that down to create kind of a base and a good white shadow, if you will. On top of that I went very lightly with the other colors. I have seen blue poinsettias, but I am not entirely sure about them, so I gave these a white with a tinge of blue hue.

I used the stamps in the Merry Blooms Clear Stamp set to add all the details to the individual pieces. For the leaves, I inked the background stamp with a bunch of different greens and even some yellow.

The sentiment is from the Clearly Crafty Joyful Season stamp set and then I used the coordinating dies (which need to be purchased separately from the kit) to die cut it out before adhering with a couple layers of cardstock underneath.

I added this vellum frame using the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets and the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. I am digging how this turned out. It is not only full of holiday cheer, but it also says winter to me–cozy winter! The good kind of winter. πŸ™‚

I finish everything off with some stitching and Clear Drip Drops.

Next up, I made a few tags using the Pierced Tag Stacklets and added one to the TE Clear Treat Boxes. For these I went to more of a traditional holiday red, using lots of different TE Reds and pinks. I even used Mulled Wine, which I admittedly do not use too often, so that’s always fun for me!

I white heat embossed these little sentiments on some strips of Sweet Basil cardstock. Looking forward to using these tags at the holidays for sure!

On these tags and both of my cards, I also used the Spattered Background and white heat embossed that. I like how it gives it a snowy wintery look. I could use this background on most every card, I think. ❀

Lastly, I have this card, using more of a Spearmint looking set of leaves. I also used Mint Julep. This green combo is delightful.

I added some Silver Glitter to the center of these Poinsettias. Again, I also used the Spatter Background with some Mushroom ink to add little extra bit of goodness. I used the Frame in Frame die to create this panel. I added a nest of silver thread behind the sentiment to tie into the silver glitter. So festive!

Of course, I love these envelope colors in this kit and the stickers. Always the stickers. But I’m going to need some more Dijon envelopes. How do I not have these already?

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions. Here’s the TE scoop:

Here’s everything included the Merry Blooms Kit – which is available for $69:

  • Merry Blooms Stamp, Stencil, & Clear Combo set
  • Perfect Poinsettia die collection

NEW Mini Slim Essentials from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today and it is of all things MINI SLIM!! It’s a fun new Mini Slim Essentials Release and it’s full of add-ons to really add some details to our Mini Slim cards!

First up, there is some new little stamps in town that I added onto this Mini Slim Tri-Fold Card. This is the new Tutti FruttiΒ set and it is SO cute! I used the previously released Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Circle with the Mini Slim Trifold card base from TE.

I mean really. These fruits just make me happy! And I added some googley eyes for extra fun. πŸ™‚

To create the front of this tri-fold, I used the previously released Masking Stencil – Mini Slim Rectangle along with the new Mini Slim Stencil – Wonky Dots. I used Cilantro, Granny Smith, Lemon Meringue and Pineapple to blend.

I die cut the circles using both and then added the two sizes to create a uniform look from the front. I think it turned out kinda fun! πŸ™‚

This is the second layer, if you will. I used the new Mini Slim Thin Frame Cutting Plate to create this fun little border stripe. I cannot wait to use these more and create lots of stripey goodness! The thinness of the frame is going to be great to use for many things.

For this layer, I used the Go with the Flow stencil and the same color combo to blend. The little hearts are from the Little Bits – Hearts die.

The inner most layer, I used the Mini Slim Stencil – Wonky Dots again, this time in Cupcake. And a Cilantro frame from the Mini Slim Thin Frame Cutting Plate. These trifold cards are always fun to make in the end and I imagine getting one would be thrice as nice! πŸ™‚

Next up, I have a pink little number with a new friend from the Tickled Pink Stamp & Stencil Combo. The tropically delightful stencil is the new Mini Slim Stencil – Tropical Leaves. For this one I blended on Cookie Monster, Sprinkles, Granny Smith, Cilantro and Pineapple. I used the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Hexagon to create the window, but this time wonky.

I also used the Masking Stencils – Mini Slim Scalloped Rectangle again. I guess I like that clean edging look. Who knew? πŸ™‚

The sentiment is from the same set and you open it up to find a rainbowtasticness surprise! This one is a Top Fold Mini Slim. Which, unless you have a lot of 12 x 12 heavy weight cardstock around, I’d definitely recommend ordering a pack from TE to use. I do not have 12 x 12, so I am so glad they started offering these. πŸ™‚Β  AND the tri-fold pre-made cards: πŸ’›!!

At first I was just going to rainbow the Flamingo, and then I thought–might as well go all in with the background too! So I lined up the stencil to match the front and did just that! πŸ™‚

This one is definitely different, but I like it! I would either add a note to the back or just sign my name with a quick note somewhere inside here. πŸ™‚

Also, you may have noticed the new Mini Slim Scalloped Envelope Liner! AHHHHHHH– love this die! The TE Creative team did such fun things with it that you definitely want to check it out. For some reason, I went very basic using some Toffee to line the envelope. But stencils and colors are all so fun to add a little more spunk!

Here’s the details from TE:

.Right now through Sunday, July 4th (or while supplies last), You can get the Tickled Pink Card Making Bundle for 15% off! The bundle includes the Tickled Pink Stamp & Stencil Combo set, Tickled Pink die, and Mini Slim Tropical Leaves stencil.Β The discounted bundle price is only available through Sunday, July 4th.

Taylored Expressions: Very Cherry Kit!

Today, there is a NEW Kit available over atΒ  Taylored Expressions. This one is moving into my top faves very quickly because it is not only sweet and delightful, but it is so easy to use and create lots of fun cards. And it seems my recent mission is to create a stack of cards all at once and have them ready to use, so this Very Cherry Kit is really helping me on that mission. πŸ’πŸ’

First up, let’s talk Rainier Cherries. I LOVE to eat these little summer gems and have yet to have a single one yet this year. How is that possible? Well, anyway, I decided I would create them on a card instead.

I wasn’t entirely sure how to do this, so I just went for it using Potato Chip, PinkΒ Champagne, and Guava on the cherries. I love how they turned out in the end. At first I was thinking the lines of ink were bugging me, but then I embraced it and now I want to recreate this effect. ha!

I wish I had stamped a few more of these at the same time. But I did create a few backgrounds, so I can fill them in easy enough someday soon! I used the overlapping sweet little heart stencil and blended on some Gumball ink. It was a risk because I wasn’t entirely sure I would like the blue hearts. Thank goodness I loved the result! Phew! πŸ™‚ I die cut that panel with the Frame in Frame 2 die (shocker, I know!). I die cut the Open Scalloped CircleΒ in Blueberry and then stamped the sentiment on Vellum to put that in the center. This card took a little more time than the following two, but I thought it was well worth it and plan to do it again…now that I’ve done the harder work to figure it all out. πŸ˜‰

Next up, I have these sweet little Thank You cards. I love the simplicity of these cherries and how you don’t need to add too much to make them shine.

I die cut the Petite Scallop Square Stacklets to create that panel before adding the Open Scalloped Circle die from the kit. I also added several scoring details to all these pieces to give a little texture on each piece of background.

I think these could be simplified even further if you wanted or I think even making them verbatim wasn’t that intensive. I have a pile of cherries stamped and ready to go on my desk, so I might just go ahead and make a few more of this design. πŸ™‚

To polish it all off, I added some stitching and Clear Drip Drops. Oh and the stickers!!! Ahhhhhh I always adore the stickers. I have quite a stash of them now, because I rarely send a card out without them. So now, I need to grab a few more of these sweet cherry stickers too! Especially for all my summer cards! πŸ™‚

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions. Here’s the TE πŸ’ scoop:

Here’s everything included the Very Cherry Kit– which is available for $65:

  • Very Cherry Cling & Clear Combo set
  • Very Cherry stencil
  • Clearly Crafty Cherry on Top stamp set
  • Cherry on Top die collection
  • Open Scallop Circle die
  • 6 Custom Envelope Seals
  • 6 A2 Envelopes: 2 each of Cherry Pop, Strawberry Milkshake, and Peapod
  • Packaged in a zippered pouch with a custom kit label

Summer FUN from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today and it is full of SUMMER fun, Glittery Goodness, COOL things and cute little treats! πŸ™‚ There are a rainbow of TE colors available in Loose Glitter (Lollipop, Cherry Pop, Candy Corn, Peapod, Cookie Monster, Jelly Donut, Pearl, Silver, Gold and Oreo) now and it all can be adhered and enjoyed with the new Glitter Grab!

First up, I used the new Sweet Scoops and Building Blocks-Cool Additions. These Sweet Scoops are so easy to use and quite frankly, make you want a scoop or two! πŸ™‚

You can create any ice cream flavor your sweet tooth desires! I made Mint Chocolate Chip (Mint Julep and Mushroom) and Sorbet and one of my favorites was how the Vanilla turned out! I never thought I could stamp white ice cream and with Sea Salt and a touch of Mushroom for the shading–success! πŸ™‚ To give a little extra fun and sparkle, I used the new Pearl Glitter from TE. Alllllllllllllll the colors are so dynamic, but somehow I used the most muted one in Pearl. Ha! It just gives a subtle kick, which is what I wanted on these yummy scoops.

I added everything to the Pierced Lattice Cutting PlateΒ background that I trimmed out with the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets, of course. And allΒ  the fun sentiment blocks are from the Building Blocks-Cool Additions.

Next up, I used the Anything is Popsicle Stencil and Stamp Combo along with the Sun’s Out dies to create this totally chill card. I think those popsicles were begging for shades, so I answered the call 😎. I glittered those cuties up with the new Oreo Glitter and let me tell you, in person, SUCH fun to see that little pop of sparkle!

This fun sentiment is from the new Mini Strips- Hello Summer. I just embossed that in White on Oreo Cardstock. The simple background I created using the Mini Simple Strips-Hello Summer . I used some Lemon Meringue ink in combination with Cookie Monster. I die cut the panel all out the Mini Slim Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. This one would be fun and easy to make several cards to mail out this summer!

Lastly, we gave out a few ice cream gift cards to our little friends here, so I created these little Gift Card holders using the Tag Pocket.Β  For these, I used the larger Sweet Scoops Ice Cream cone and mixed up my flavors even more to create Rainbow Sherbet. TOO fun! I love all those little extra stamps for the ice cream cones and the shading on the scoops. They add soooo much so simply to the already stenciled parts. I’m a big fan of the stencils to create these fun shades of ice cream.

Hello Summer! This sentiment is from the Anything is Popsicle set.

I tried to keep these pretty simple because I was limited on time, but I think they would be super fun with the new TE Glitters and some googley eyes too!

I added a little bit of twine to each. Also, I embossed the Lots of Stars folder (that is retired–eek sorry!) but the Lots of Dots Embossing Folder is a great stand in. Gives it that little extra pizzazz fairly easily. πŸ™‚

And now, I want some ice cream in a cone again! πŸ™‚

Here’s the scoop from TE: (see what I did there? bwwwaaaahaaahaaa!)

Get the glitter party started with our All That Glitters Glamour Box! This bundle is a $60 value for $50 and is available now through Sunday, June 20th. The TE All That Glitters Glamour Box includes: 10 – 1 oz jars of fine loose glitter (Lollipop, Cherry Pop, Candy Corn, Peapod, Cookie Monster, Jelly Donut, Pearl, Silver, Gold and Oreo) + a 4 oz. jar of TE Glitter Grab.Β The discounted bundle price is only available through Sunday, June 20th.

4th of July Release from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today and it is full of Summer Goodness–it’s the 4th of July Release! πŸ™‚ It not only celebrates all things patriotic, but it also gives us products to thank those who are serving and have served. And of course, if you take a step back and imagine all the things in different colors, they can be used for many occasions beyond the patriotic theme. πŸ™‚

First up, we have Mr. Uncle Sam. Can we call him Mr. Uncle Sam? Not sure, but either way, these cutie little images in the Uncle Sam Stamp & Stencil Combo that Heather whipped up are perfect to celebrate!

This set is similar to those in the past, with a larger red rubber background stamp and then the stamps to fill in all the little things super easy. You do NOT need to color–love that! I mean, I love to color, but there is something satisfying about just stamping in all the fills and done! πŸ™‚ And there are A LOT of fills to choose from. I stamped out a whole bunch, and then I ended up using three with the same top of hat fills in the uppermost row. How does that happen? haaaa! I finished this off with some stitching and some Drip Drops for added 4th of July sparkle and done! πŸ™‚

I created the background with the Full Circle-Patriotic stamp white heat embossed. I die cut that circle out with the Stitched Circle Stacklets. To create the card base, I cut strips of cardstock and then die cut that with the Petite Scallop Square Stacklets. I popped everything together with some foam tape and added some Drip Drops for interest and boom, Happy 4th of July! πŸ™‚

Next up, there is a SUPER fun new Rotating Stencil called: Superstar Rotating Stencil…go figure! πŸ™‚ This gives the look of several layered stencils but with only ONE stencil! You just blend in your colors and rotate. Repeat four times and whammo! Done!

I thought it would be fun to veer off the patriotic path and make a sweet card, perfect for our son! Of course, I pulled out Gus & Gertie to help this task be executed. The NEW Building Blocks sentiments from the Building BlocksBrave Editions helped this come together in a flash!

I used lots of colors to make this extra STARtastic! Cherry Pop, Candy Corn, Lemon Meringue, CilantroΒ and Blueberry.

To finish off the panel, I used the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets, along with the Diagonal Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. I love how sweet this turned out! ❀

New Interactive fun from Taylored Expressions!

There is a new release over atΒ  Taylored Expressions today and it is an exciting one–Theater Fold Cards! AND lots of new goodies that work well with this concept or for any card, as you’ll hopefully see below too! πŸ™‚

This fantastic Hello is from the Oh My Word-Hello set and it has quickly and efficiently worked it’s way into my most used pile. LOVE. IT. I stamped Hello with a few different color ink pads to achieve that ombre look.

TE is creating and packaging the little side Theater Fold panels for you to purchase. Yes, you can absolutely cut, trim and score these on your own, no problem. But I’m telling you, order them. πŸ˜‚! You will be glad you did. They are making them in Sugar Cube and Toffee and they will save you time because the accuracy is already done for you–sold! And I don’t know about you, but if I can just grab and create, I will make more of these vs. having to cut and score and measure. It’s by no means hard, at all, I’m just keeping it real. πŸ™‚

You then use the Theater Fold Die to create both the frame and the two little strips that the panels slide through to open up (They are on the underside, so you cannot see them in the photos). The strips have the score lines impressed so there is no guess work there. Easy peasy! Simple adhere those two strips and slide these pre-cut, pre-scored Theater Fold panels through and voila!

I created this lovely floral frame with the Best Buds Stamp and Stencil set, which I have also been using a lot lately (see my Mother’s Day cards in my feed HERE). It’s so quick and easy to get a background. I colored in the leaves with different green Copic Markers on this card. πŸ™‚

This sweet little image inside is from the new Bitty Borders stamp set and I also used the new coordinating Bitty Borders die. This new Bitty Borders set is chock full of cuteness–you’ve been warned! πŸ™‚

I am digging this Peaches n Cream and Sprinkles combo a lot lately. πŸ™‚

For the inside, I used the Here Comes the Sun stencil with both Lemon Meringue and Pineapple inks blended in. At first I only had the back panel and and then once I assembled it, I thought hmmmm that needs to go up the sides. So I sprayed my stencil with Pixie Spray and laid it right over I stenciled before and added the rays on the side. When I was finished, I was so glad I did! What a fun effect that makes inside with this cool Theater Fold.

I added a Lavender Glaze little heart from the Hearts die and done. When interactive cards take too many steps or layers or time, I lose interest pretty fast. I love to make them, but rarely go back to make another. THIS ONE, however, is 1-2-3 easy, especially if you have the Theater Panels already cut and scored from TE. Bing Bang Pow done! LOVED that. πŸ™‚

Next up, I used the Oh My Word-Birthday stamp and the sweet candles from the Bitty Borders set to create this Birthday card. I am wishing I had made a stack of these so I could actually get my birthday cards out on time! πŸ™‚

Again, I hopped on the Peaches n Cream & Sprinkles bandwagon I seem to be aboard and colored the candles with Copic Markers. I used the Mini Slim- On the Dot stencil to create a little background interest.Β  Again, I used Sprinkles at the bottom of the panel and faded up to Confetti Cake…then Salt Water Taffy, for the topmost color.

I made the panel using the Petite Scallop Square Stacklets and the more recently released,Β  Diagonal Stitched Squares. These two sets of stacklets, along with the Rectangle versions of each are used often in my cardmaking, in case you haven’t noticed. πŸ™‚ They are always a good addition. I stamped the Happy Birthday twice. I stamped it once directly on the panel for the Happy and then again with a dark to light ombre on some Sugar Cube before die cutting it out. I love the idea of making these and mailing Birthday cards on time– ha! πŸ™‚

Next up, I HAD TO use this cutie little rainbow stamp from the Bitty Borders set. I kept things pretty simple. In doing that, I know I can go back and make more without feeling overwhelmed with aΒ  lot of work or steps. Always a win in my book.

For the background, I die cut the second size of the Frame in Frame 2 die. Then, I used the Set the Scene- Clouds with Sprinkles ink gently. Once I finished that, I added a few ink splatters. I colored the cutie rainbows with Copic Markers and used foam tape to adhere them, after stamping this sweet sentiment from the Oh My Word- Thank You set.Β I will use that one often! πŸ™‚

I added some stitched and adhered both the little rainbows and the whole panel with foam adhesive. Done! These new Bitty Borders would make quick work of making a card set for gifting. πŸ™‚

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions. See my links below to make things easier. πŸ™‚

And here’s the scoop from TE:

You’ll be ready to start making interactive Theater Fold Cards when you purchase our Theater Fold Starter Bundle, available for a limited time only! Taylored Expressions: Dad and More!

There is a new release over atΒ  Taylored Expressions today to celebrate Dads and so much more! πŸ™‚

On both my cards today, I used the new Argyle Stamp and Stencil Combo. Please note, I did not do it the traditional way of Argyle for these cards (as the set is built for) –I went rogue! BUT you should know that it is super quick and super easy to do it the traditional way. (Is that right? Or should I just say, make Argyle. Because Argyle is Argyle. ha!! πŸ˜‚)

There are new Simple Strips in town too! These new ones are from the Man Myth Legend Simple Strips stamp. I love how this color combo came together and I actually enjoy the hodge podge of Argyle pattern here, but check out the TE Team’s projects because they all did it the “right way”.Β  πŸ˜‰

I also wanted to use the new Diamond Piercing Plate, so I add that goodness on here too! I used Blueberry, Dijon, and Confetti Cake for the color fills and Mushroom for the pattern.

Next up, I went even MORE rogue! I used practically every color in the Taylored Expressions palette–haaaa! Please see my links below to see what colors I used and try to pick out the ones I didn’t use! I’ll get you started… I did not use Toffee, but don’t tell Heather Nichols. πŸ™‚

I just kept shifting the stencils and then doing a row at a time in each color. I’m still not entirely sure I love this card, but I also don’t hate it, so I guess that is something. πŸ˜‰

I used the Framed Script-HelloΒ die–I die cut it a few times to give it some oomph too and backed it with some Earl GreyΒ cardstock to make it pop more.

I am looking forward to making Father’s Day cards using the Argyle in the traditional way, or the proper way, if you will. πŸ™‚

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions.

And here’s the scoop:

Right now, through Sunday, May 16th (or while supplies last), You can get the Argyle Bundle for 15% off! The bundle includes the Argyle Stamp & Stencil Combo set and Diamonds Piercing Plate.Β The discounted bundle price is only available through Sunday, May 16th.

Taylored Expressions: A2 vs. Mini Slim

Happy Tuesday–just popping in to share some Taylored Expressions fun today! Today, the TE Team is focusing on inspiration to show how to use one product to create cards in two different sizes (both A2 and Mini Slim).

First up today, I am using the new Counting Candles Layering Stencils.Β I decided to first make this on a Mini Slim card and so I used both the Mini Slim Stitched Stacklets and the Mini Slim Petite Scallop Stacklets.

These Counting Candles Layering Stencils make quick work of a festive card with fun results quite easily. And I am allllll about the easy! πŸ™‚ You can pick a bunch of different colored inks and create a fun result using several or you can keep it simple with just a few! I went pastel crazy! πŸ™‚ The new little blending brushes make it even easier to do.

I added a little Stickles to the center of the flames too and in person, you can see it much better than in the photo. πŸ™‚

Next up, I did a similar candle approach but this time I cut it out and decided I was going to make a shaker card. I offset the circles this time, just to mix it up a bit.

I colored Millie from the Millie’s Birthday Bash stamp set with Copic Markers.

Nothing says Happy Birthday quite like a shaker card, right? ❀ I just offset the circles and used the TE Foam Strips to create the shaker window, adding the Rainbow Sprinkles, Sparkly Stars and Hearts. Easy peesy.

Oh and all the little sentiments and details are from the Counting Candles Add-On Stamp set.

These both turned out Birthdaytastic and the stencil works wonderfully on both sizes of cards: A2 and Mini Slim. It’s fun to see them side by side in the end. πŸ™‚

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions.

And here’s the scoop:

If any of the main products that the TE Creative Team used on their projects caught your eye, we are making them available to you for 30% off through this Sunday, May 9thΒ or while supplies last.Β Here are the sets included in the sale:

Taylored Expressions: Teacher and Grad Release!

One of the cards I make the most is Teacher cards and so for me, it’s a fun day atΒ  Taylored Expressions –there are lots of new goodies to celebrate all the Teachers and Grads in our lives! πŸ™‚

First up today, I am using the new Full Circle-School. I stamped it, heat embossed it and then I die cut it with one of my most used stacklets for such occasions: Apple Stacklets.

I decided this would be fun on a Mini Slim card and so I used both the Mini Slim Stitched Stacklets and the Mini Slim Petite Scallop Stacklets. I also stamped the Full Circle-School in tone-on-tone with Toffee ink on Toffee cardstock. I seem to use Toffee often on Teacher cards? I think that might be because I like it with the Red Pepper apple. πŸ™‚

I added a bit of twine to the stem after I blended on some green inks. I white heat embossed the sentiment on vellum and stitched that on the panel. Before I adhered everything to the card base, I decided to blend on some Sugar Cube ink to the Oreo top fold Mini Slim card. To finish it off, I used the new Cosmic Bits!

Next up, I thought I’d veer from a typical Teacher card color palette. I love how this turned out! I used the new I Pick You stamp and stencil.

I used Confetti Cake with the stencil and stamped the apples with Granny Smith, Cupcake and Toffee. I love these stamps that have the coordinating little dies for cutting out the little apples (or pumpkins, snowmen, etc. in the past). Pretty sure I definitely need to order another little apple die.

I thought this was a fun and a slightly different way to put on the sentiment. Of course, in true Jill style, I used the same sentiment on both cards today! πŸ˜‚ I don’t know how I do that, but I do it all the time. However, I promise there are lots of great sentiments in this set besides the one I used, twice! haaaa!

Oh and I stamped the Inside Scoop- Teacher on the inside and completely forgot to take a photo of that. Another thing I do all the time! πŸ™‚ Ack!

And BONUS TIME!! There is a NEW Big Grumpy Grad download to make some fun celebratory cards for Graduation and really, for anytime. There are a few sentiments that work for everyday congrats too, which I love!

I was laughing so heard when I read this one! πŸ™‚

I colored Big Grumpy-Bear with Copic Markers and then masked off this background area before using the Confetti Toss stencil and Stickles-Nebula paste. I love that Nebula paste because it has these cute little stars in it too! πŸ™‚

Next up, I thought it would be fun to use this sentiment. Also usuable for so many occasions. 🀣 Congrats you took out the trash! Here’s a card! I kid, but you know what I’m saying. I love this little bit of snark for everyday or for those Grads with the same silly sense of humor too. πŸ™‚

I made this background with the Masking Stencils-Stars (I used it and shifted it around a bit to use it again) and the Diagonal Stitched Square Stacklets. So fun! πŸ™‚

This sentiment is a trip. And if you haven’t used these Free Big Grumpy sentiments before, it is very easy to do. Check out the information for printing and stamping them over on the TE Blog and website.

Taylored Expressions: New Blender Brushes!

Super itty bitty big news over atΒ  Taylored Expressions today–there are NEW Bitty Blender Brushes and they are oh so very cute–they are BITTY!! AND a new White Brush and a Black Brush! Is our collection complete? I’m not sure 🀣 ! πŸ™‚

First up today, I am using the new Rainbow Repeat. I love this new stencil!! eeeeek! The possibilities! I blended on Cupcake, Peaches n’ Cream, Granny Smith, and Sprinkles. Once I blended all those on with the new brushes, I came back and filled in the rest with Lemon Meringue.

I thought it would be fun to use the little unicorn from the Little Critters set. I colored them with Copic Markers and then fussy cut them out. This sentiment is from this set too. I white heat embossed it and strung it across a frame from the Frame in Frame 2 set.

Next up, I used the new Delightful Daisy stencil. Using the new small brushes, it is fairly quick and easy to ink up the flowers individually. I didn’t mask off anything. Instead, I used complimentary colors in case there was any cross contamination.

I figured this would be perfect for a Mom card–I would use this card for Mother’s Day, but I think it can be used any time as well. ❀

The sentiment is from the Mini Strips – You’re the Best set. I die cut that with the Asymmetrical Mini Strips die. I used the On the Block -Mom stamp and die. For the background, I used both the Scalloped Circle Masking stencil and the Masking Stencil Circles stencil, in conjunction with the new Delightful Daisy stencil.

I wanted to make one more card with the Rainbow Repeat Stencil. This one I used the Rainbow Repeat StencilΒ in conjunction with the Square Masking Stencil. AND…. are you sitting down? I dropped a hint of purple in there with the Eggplant. Who am I?

I thought this turned out fun adding this sentiment from the Simple Strips-Crafty set. I so enjoy that set! πŸ™‚Β  I just got a bunch of my Simple Strips organized in their Simple Strips storage containers over the weekend. So happy to have them easily accessible!
