Taylored Expressions: December Release!

Welcome to Release Day forย Taylored Expressions December Release!

This first card features the new sentiment set which clearly is right up my alley. It’s calledย Shenanigans and it is full of funny sentiments to send to friends and family. ๐Ÿ™‚

This little cutie dog is from the new Punny Notes set–seriously fun! ๐Ÿ™‚ I colored him with Copic markers and brushed on a little landscape for him to stand on before scoring the panel and adding the stitching. I have to make a couple of these and send them to friends that would probably get a kick out of them. โค

Next Up, I usedย You Make My Heart Soar with theย Accordion Heart. How sweet is this new set? And that Accordion Heart makes me happy!

Again, I colored this bike with Copic Markers and die cut it out. I embossed the background with the Petite Scalloped Square Stacklets. I used the Set the Scene – Cloud Stencils for the background texture and of course, finished it all off with some stitching! It so adorable floating through the air! ๐Ÿ™‚

Taylored Expressions Release Week: Day 3

Welcome to Day Three of Taylored Expressions December Release Week! If you missed my other two posts earlier this week,ย  I’ll link you up down below. ๐Ÿ™‚

Today, I am sharing two cards full of Valentine’s Love. The first uses the new Backstory Valentine. For this, I stamped the background withย  Fruit Punch ink pad on some Sugar Cube cardstock. I’m telling you, it is spot on for Fruit Punch color.ย โค

I also used this newย Just My Type stamp. I thought it would be fun in Sprinkles. I added some patterned paper to the base after cutting it with the Petite Scalloped Square Stacklets after reverse scoring it. Then I added some stitching and voila! ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, we have a fun gift givingย card using the new Cutting Edge Hearts Stamp & Die Combo. For this used the new Fruit Punch cardstock.

It unfortunately doesn’t show up in these photos, but the Sugar Cube cardstock is white heat embossed with the newย Lots of Love stencil. It looks great in person! ๐Ÿ™‚

I just die cut the rest of the colors to match the front one and layered them up in the back, adding some stitching to finish it all off. I thought this would be fun for a teacher in February. โค

You can find all my supplies and links to the Taylored Expressions Shop below.

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks: Day 2

Welcome back to Day Two of Taylored Expressions December Release Week! If you missed my post yesterday sharing day one, I’ll link you up down below. ๐Ÿ™‚

This first card cracks me up–because Sarcasti-Chick has a new wardrobe this winter season: Sarcasti-Chick’s Winter Closet. I decided she needed the cute sweater and obviously a heart headband. Obviously. ๐Ÿ™‚ I colored everything with Copic Markers.

I also used the forthcoming Framed Roses Cutting Plate. I thought it would look awesome embossed and it does!! โค how that turned out. ๐Ÿ™‚

So fun! She’s a crack up!

The next cards, might just be my favorite from this release? Maybe? Ha! ๐Ÿ™‚ I just think these puntastic new Punny Note Valentines are adorable! They were super fun to color. I am looking forward to my son using them to make a few fun valentines too. ๐Ÿ™‚

I stamped these with Oreo ink and colored them in with Copic Markers. The Scalloped Notecard die is about the cutest little card maker ever. So sweet!

All these cut little clouds and bits are from theย Notecard Accessories die set.

These little envelopes are the 3 x 3 Envelopes. I want to make all the mini cards! ๐Ÿ™‚

I also used the Mini Mail stamp set to create all the fun envelopes that go along with these lil’ cards. I thought it would be fun to add a little color action on them. They were fun to make as well. I just had to remind myself that I could not blend Copics on them, so I had to take it easy on the blending. ๐Ÿ™‚

Taylored Expressions Release Week! Day 1

Hello! Welcome to my first release post for Taylored Expressions! Oh Happy Day!! I am so excited to share the projects I have worked on this week. Hopefully you find some inspiration of your own for the amazing TE Creative Team too! ๐Ÿ™‚

For these first cards, I used the new Framed Script Hello. I also had fun using the new colors of cardstock: Fruit Punch, Gumball and Mushroom! I actually love them all together. It creates a fun combo.

I just cut up a bunch of cardstock strips and glued them to some paper. Then I die cut through them, saving all the pieces to enable making TWO cards! Whoohoooo! ๐Ÿ™‚

After inlaying/gluing all the pieces in some scored cardstock, I added some stitching to finish them off.

I just love how these turned out!

The next card I made with the new Hearts in Bloom Background. I wasn’t sure how this was going to turn out, but in the end, I enjoy the more refined stamp with the funny little sentiment from Sarcasti-chick’s Winter Closet. Cracks me up! ๐Ÿ™‚

I stamped these with Oreo ink and colored them in with Copic Markers. To finish it off, I added some stitching.

I also used the Petite Scalloped Square Stacklets. They are square, obviously, but I just partially die cut the panel and then cut the other end. It’s a great way to stretch your dies!

You can find all my supplies and links to the Taylored Expressions Shop below.

Exciting News Today!

I have exciting news to share today!! I am joining the awesome Taylored Expressions Design Team! I am so looking forward to all the fun ahead with this amazing group of designers! What a treat!! ๐Ÿ™‚ I had great fun volunteering at Stamp Joy last Fall and could not be more excited for this opportunity to work with everyone and everything TE! โคTo celebrate, I wanted to make a card to share today. We have been out-of-town for the holiday, and we lost power last night, so I am a smidge behind, but nothing can dull my excitement today! ๐Ÿ™‚

I adore Taylored Expressions felt, so I thought it fitting to use some today! ๐Ÿ™‚ I reverse scored the panel before cutting it partially with the TE Flap Stacks. I cut it partially, and flipped it over and cut it again, because I wanted the rectangle, but I did not want the flap for this card. ๐Ÿ˜‰ After, I glued and stitched all the hearts and sentiment on, I then stitched the whole lot onto the panel. Lots of love and thanks! โค

A HUGE Thank you to Taylor and her awesome team on the home front in Iowa! My neighbors! Big hugs to the TE Design Team for being so warm and welcoming to a newcomer. โค

I look forward to sharing the forthcoming NEW Taylored Expressions RELEASE with you soon!! I have been very busy this past month crafting my little heart out! ๐Ÿ™‚

Below is my list of TE products–the Thanks die is not exactly the same as what I used, but in the same vein. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to sharing more soon! ๐Ÿ™‚

laughs…

hello! I have a pile of cards I have yet to share that I made over the summer. So today, I’m popping in to share this group of funny cards and a lil’ bit of fall….

These stamps are super funny to me, especially this first one. Everything is better in a cape! Cracking up!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Full disclosure: The reason this chick is colored so awesomely and skillfully, is because my friend Jen colored it and let me have it. ๐Ÿ™‚ Or did I just take it? ha–Just kidding! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I did color her cape and make the rest of the card though. Ha!

So fun! This is Taylored Expressions Sarcasti-Chick and her Halloween Closet. Just. So. Funny. โค

Next up, I have this very ON POINT hair humor card. Hilarious. These are also stamps by Taylored Expressions–from the Clearly Planned called Super Sweet. I colored all of this one. ๐Ÿ™‚

Because it has been soooooo humid here! ๐Ÿ™‚

And then, we get to the sweet Thank You cards for Fall. I made a handful of these, but forgot to take a group picture, so here’s just one. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for stopping by!

Take care– Jill ๐Ÿ™‚
