New Blender Brushes from Taylored Expressions!

I hope you enjoyed my post yesterday to share the news for the new Taylored Expressions Blender Brushes! I cannot stop blending since I received them!  ❀ And you all are clearly as excited as me, because the Blender Brushes were so popular and sold out the first day! The great news is, they will be restocked as soon as possible, so hold steady!

Just a quick review again: The bristles are white, so you can see the color you put on them, the handles are COLORED in rainbow colors!! AND there is a Turning Caddy to store them!!  πŸ™‚ Check it all out over at Taylored Expressions now! Yay! ❀

I’m very serious when I say I have been ink blending up a STORM lately! πŸ™‚  Here’s another card I made using them:

I colored the bees with Copic Markers and die cut them out. I hear embossed the Dizzy Dots background in white and ink blended using different blues after that. When I finally stopped myself from blending (ha!), I die cut the background into hexagons for a fun bee backdrop! ❀

Bzzzzzz! This was a fun one to make, for sure!! πŸ™‚

I could not be more exited to share this news and post for Taylored Expressions Blender Brush Release! I am telling you these whole kit and caboodle is a cardmaking game changer!! I have been busting with this awesome secret for what seems like FOREVER!  ❀

The bristles are white, so you can see the color you put on them. BUT most excitingly, the handles are COLORED in rainbow colors!! Oh good gravy–I’m telling you, I eeeeeeped with delight in seeing them! But WAIT there’s more…. there is a Turning Caddy to store them!! Naturally, I could not WAIT to use them ALL!! And now, I can’t stop! Here is a fun card I made using them:

I had so much fun making this card and then adding the stitching!! Eeep!! The blending with the new brushes was effortless so much easier with the colored handles to know what I was grabbing! But, now that I am posting it, I see I forgot the I’s tittle! Oh good gravy!! I am going to need to add that. How did I not notice it til now? ack.

I just love how this turned out overall. The brushes make it so fun to blend and truly, the white bristles, colored handles and turning caddy are just icing on the cake!! So fun and so pretty to use! πŸ™‚

Taylored Expressions: June Release!

Welcome to Release Day forΒ Taylored Expressions June Release! All the new products for June are available over at Taylored Expressions now! Yay!

My first card today features the NEW Cutting Edge Crafty stamp set. This is likely my most favorite card from this release, because this is sooooo true! haaaaa!! πŸ™‚

This is practically a spitting image of me, but with slightly smaller ears. πŸ˜‰

I colored everything with Copic Markers before layering it all onto a card panel I used the stencil to blend on some ink. (I even had to add the labels to the little ink pads! Too fun! )

Next up, is another card, perfect for sending to a creative friend!

Craftiness is Happiness! ❀

I stamped all these little icons from the new set, Craftiness is Happiness. Just perfect for making crafty friends cards. And it’s slightly different from most of Taylored Expressions stamps, in that it is a clear photopolymer set and it’s part of the Clearly Crafty line of TE goodies!

Taylored Expressions Release Week: Day 3

Welcome to Day Three of Taylored Expressions JuneΒ Sneak Peek Week! If you missed my other two posts earlier this week,Β  I’ll link you up down below. πŸ™‚

Today, I am sharing a perfectly summer patriotic card using the new:Β  Land of the Free andΒ Home of the Brave sets.

I was so happy this turned out! I wasn’t sure it would work and I feel like it did! The background is made with the Stars Embossing folder and I cannot use it enough. πŸ™‚

I added the ink to the stamp and then added water to give it a loose feel. I think it stamped good onto watercolor paper. I’d have liked the blue to not blend into the red at all, but it did so minimally, I called it a win! πŸ™‚

For this card, I white heat embossed the sentiment on some TE Vellum and die cut it to overlay on the US. I added some stitching and some twine to polish it all off.

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks: Day 2

Welcome back to Day Two of Taylored Expressions June Release Week! If you missed my post yesterday sharing day one, I’ll link you up down below. πŸ™‚

This first card features one of the cutest new sets:  Floaties. ❀ ! That little bear is so adorable there in his little flamingo floatie! I colored them with Copic Markers. I just want to live in in this card about now!

I created the wave background using the new Build-A-Background: Waves and using several different colored TE inks! TE inks have such a nice range and always give me the look I want! πŸ™‚

I blended the sky on using Distress Oxide inks, thinking I was going to splash it with water. Until I realized I didn’t use watercolor paper and then I decided not to. Ha! So I’d have just used TE inks Lemon Meringue, Pineapple and Candy Corn if I did it again. πŸ™‚

Next up, I have a lovely blended number using the new Splash Stencil. Ahhhhh!

I adore this sentiment from Do Something Creative and pretty much live by this rule. πŸ™‚ It is rare that I don’t sit down and create something every evening. πŸ™‚ Isn’t this stencil super cool with it’s flow– Love it! πŸ™‚

I die cut heart for the sentiment. this was slightly tricky because I knew I was going to leave this reveal in the panel, but I didn’t want the heart to look stretched. So I laid it out, exposing the reveal how it would be so the die cut was exactly right. πŸ™‚

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks! Day 1

Hello! Are you ready for Taylored Expressions new June Release?!Β  Let me just say–it is a favorite release of mine!! EEEEEEP!! πŸ™‚

This first card features the new Do Something Creative. I just adore how you can create a little scene, and I love that even keeping it simple, it works swimmingly!

I colored everything with Copic Markers and blended the background on to create a base for my scene…so it’s a desk, if you will. πŸ˜‰

I think this little kitty is the cutest little nugget sitting on this crafty little desk. πŸ™‚

Next up, I created a super fun little interactive card…. get ready!! First, it’s in its closed state…

Goodness, I sure do LOVE this new Rainbow Waves background!! eeeeeeeek!

And then, there’s the inside!! How crazy cool is THIS?! ❀ ! You open up the card and these little black pieces in the Gatefold Reveal give way to the sentiment behind. Of course, I created this in rainbow. πŸ™‚Β  I then overlaid the vellum over it for the sentiment to be smoothly stamped on and embossed.

I think this is so cool–and very simple to make, which is definitely up my alley! πŸ™‚

For my last card today, I used this super cool and oh SO fun to color new stamp: Create in Color. I thought it would be fun to pair it with the previously released set: Can’t Touch This sentiment.

I love that you can add these little sentiment stamps from the forthcoming Craftiness is Happiness set onto the pencils! It worked out perfectly!

You Lift Me Up!

Hello, I’m back today to share an end of the school year card I made using Taylored ExpressionsΒ –perfect for the season!Β  ❀

I sure do love these Apple Stacklets from Taylored Expressions! A. Lot. πŸ™‚ First I die cut the Rays and then I die cut the apple out of that. I added the stem, twine and stitching. I adhered it all with foam tape after scoring the base panel, but I don’t think the scoring is evident in these photos.

I used the sentiment from You Make My Heart Soar, perfect for one of my son’s teachers! My son and I are looking forward to gifting this one! πŸ™‚
