More Projects with the EH FALL Release!

I’m back using some more Fall goodness from the Ellen Hutson Fall Release! I hope you have had a chance to see all the projects on Instagram and the Ellen Hutson blog using the new Fall Release! I have enjoyed them and need to peruse more because there are so many I have yet to see, I’m sure. ๐Ÿ™‚

First up today, I am sharing these cards using the new Pumpkin Season (and dies). I want to decorate with all the pumpkin things NOW! But it is still 90 degrees here today…. seems wrong. Ha! So I will make cards instead. These are very basic, but I enjoy that sometimes so I can make more of them and send them out. ๐Ÿ™‚

For the background, I used the new Nordic Cross Cover and I’m a super fan of this die. I can safely say I will be using it a lot. A LOT.

The Pumpkin Season set comes with both a solid pumpkin stamp and an outline pumpkin stamp. I actually used both for these pumpkins before die cutting them out after. A few different shades of colors and done. ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I have these fun little treats using the new Bat Hugger die. I wanted to make a candy corn bat with little black feet, so this was fun. I also used the new A2 Piercing Plate to give everything a little extra texture.

AND naturally, some googley eyes! ๐Ÿ™‚ I am planning to make a banner using the bats, so hopefully I get that done before Halloween and can come back and share. ๐Ÿ™‚

And lastly, I have some Holiday Treats! I think these would be super fun in all the colors, so that’ll be another one I hope to get to before Christmas–we’ll see! ๐Ÿ™‚ These are super easy to make with the new Pyramid Box Die. Two passes through the die cut machine and quick assembly to hold treats, cash (who doesn’t love cash in a pyramid?) and so much more. Or just to decorate. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you have enjoy the new Fall Release from Ellen Hutson too! It’s always such a fun one! Check it the entire Ellen Hutson Fall Release HERE!

OH and if you missed my post last week–check that out HERE. A few more Halloween projects–too fun!!

Thanks again for stopping by!

Ellen Hutson New FALL Release!

Exciting day today over at Ellen Hutson–It’s the EBE Fall Release! I loooooooooooooooove this release every year and I’m so glad to be able to share little bits of it with you. AND before I forget, I’ll be back with some other projects in a few days… Two words: Holiday Trees. Yup. With the Fall Release! ๐Ÿ™‚

This release is full of super fun goodies designed by both Julie and Heather, so you know it is trouble! The GOOD kind, of course. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค

First up, I had to use two new sets and one of my favorite all time EH little guys. ๐Ÿ™‚ This card uses the new sweet little Witch from Halloween Boo-quet (and dies) and Halloween Treat Bags, as well as the long time fave All Insideย  (and dies HERE). They are all besties!

For the bold star background, I used the new Essential Stars and new A2 Piercing Plate 2. Which is a fun one for subtle texture. <3!

I colored them with Copic Markers and gave a little scoring and stitching to the background. I wanted to give a few ink splatters too, but I adhered everyone in first and there was no going back! Ha! I do this often–anyone else? ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I have fun making these tags and of course, as usual, I wish I had a dozen more! These use the new Halloween Treat Bags again and also the new Tag It-Halloween. These NEW Farmhouse Tags are extra fun and come in a die set of three different shapes. THESE you NEED! Just sayin.

Oh my goodness–I love tags. I love fall. and I love little treat bags! So this is the best!

This little ghost above is definitely my fave! I love a smiling ghost. ๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ‘ป

And there are some fun treat wrappers ahead too. I will post more about them in a few days, but here’s a little sneak! I plan to also make a Halloween banner with them! The die is called Bat Hugger.

Maybe one more card to share today? Ok. ๐Ÿ™‚

This one uses the new Halloween Boo-quet again, with a blended background of Distress Oxide Inks: Hickory Smoke, Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, Spun Sugar and Fossilized Amber. I decided to use all the individual dies in the Halloween Boo-quet die set and create a fun little spray. These ghosts are too cute–and smiling!!

I also used the new Tiny Stars Background and backed it all up with some Silver Glitter cardstock. I left some of the little stars in, which was a fun little blip because my die cutting plates are so warped, it missed the center of the die. I took advantage ๐Ÿ˜‰

I also accidentally adhered her broom upside down, so apparently she is ready to start cleaning vs. flying? haaa! ๐Ÿ™‚ Oh it’s all too cute, “upside down” or not. ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿงก

I hope you enjoy the new Fall Release from Ellen Hutson as much as I do! I’ll be back again in a few days with the rest of my treats AND some Holiday Trees! That’s right, Holiday Trees with the Ellen Hutson Fall Release. ๐Ÿ™‚

Fall Bear Ware!

Today, I’m here to share a fun couple of cards using some Ellen Hutson cuteness! They are not new, by any means, but always fun!

First up, I used Ellen Hutson’s Bear Ware 2 (and coordinating dies HERE) and of course, the original, All Inside with dies HERE! I also used Bear Ware 4 and Bare Ware 4ย dies HERE–I don’t know that I have before? How is that possible?

This little guy is always fun and makes up these sweet little cards to pop in the mail! โค Pies on a head? Why not? He’s fit to be pied. ๐Ÿ™‚

The backgrounds are from the set called Wonky Backdrops. This set is always a winner! ๐Ÿ™‚ย . The sweet little embellishments: Crystal Clear Droplets.

I hadn’t used this little All Inside guy lately, and well, I missed him! Plus, he clearly loves Fall too! ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up is the cute Halloween one! I couldn’t decide which little accouterments to use from Bear Ware 2, so I used most of them. ๐Ÿ™‚

Who doens’t love a purple little kitty cat? ๐Ÿ™‚ย  A Beary Happy Halloween!

I colored all these with a very loose watercolor on Bristol paper using the Karin Markers! The Karin Markers are so fab because they stay nice and boldly/brightly colored. ๐Ÿ™‚

Quick recap of the goodies I used–all with links if you want to find for yourself:

You + Me + Coffee

Today, I’m here to share a fun little card using Ellen Hutson’s Bear Ware 3 (and coordinating dies HERE) and of course, the original, All Inside with dies HERE! I mean, I’m pretty sure he’s my favorite bear of all and he needs to hold ALL. THE. THINGS. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I colored everything with Copics. The background I stamped a little ombre with a stamp from Pattern Play.

I think this turned out pretty darn cute (because how could this cutie not be?) and I can’t wait to send it to a friend! โค

Hugs to Send

There’s a new Color Trends Pin-Sights Challenge over on Ellen Hutson–check it out!

While I am not a purple fan, per say, I do really enjoy the colors of these succulents, so that’s what I ran with for inspiration. Here’s my card:

I used different colored Distress Oxide ink pads to smoosh on the stamp and then I stamped repeatedly. I white heat embossed the sentiment, and finished it off with a lot of stitching. ๐Ÿ™‚

I made this card using two of my favorite Ellen Hutson’s sets: Wonky Backdrops and All Inside (sentiment). I added some Pretty Pink Posh Confetti...and as you can see, because of the glue, the top one took on the ink underneath and it turned the whole thing pinkish. Ha!! Overnight. Who knew?

I hope you have time to jump in on this current EH Challenge too! Thanks for stopping by!

12th Birthday!

Hola! I’m sharing this card I made for my niece, who is turning 12!!!??? How!!?? I swear she was just turning 3 yesterday. Yup, I’m that adult that cannot digest that children just keep on growing! Haaa! ๐Ÿ™‚  โค

I thought this bear would be fantastic to hold some fun balloons! AND a cupcake, while sporting a party hat! Busy little dude! ๐Ÿ™‚

I colored the cutie bear and his accessories with Copic markers, added some Stickles and Wink of Stella sparkle. I tied silver thread to each balloon (which, while time consuming, is a fun detail) and finished it off with a little washi tape and stitching. In the end, it’s a little bit busier of a card than I generally make, but it is a PARTY! ๐Ÿ™‚

For this, I used Essentials by Ellen All Inside ( and dies), EH’s Silver Linings, and Avery Elle’s Numbered Balloons and Party Animal  stamp/die.

I’m adding this for the Mix-It Up Challenge with Avery Elle over at Ellen Hutson! Perfect! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for stopping by! Biggest birthday wishes to E on Monday! Shhhhhh! ๐Ÿ™‚ โค

Hello Sunshine! Stay Cooool

When I saw Ellen Hutson’s Mix It Up Challenge this month was with Paper Smooches, well, I had to jump in! I was so excited to mix it up with some super faves ๐Ÿ™‚ . I’m hoping I can sneak in another soon, since I have many things splayed across my desk already. Haaaa! ๐Ÿ™‚

hawkins_jill_sunshine-smooches

Oh my word!! I cannot handle how cute this little bear is with these giant PS glasses! ๐Ÿ™‚ I think he might be struggling a bit, since his treat is upside down. ๐Ÿ˜‰hawkins_jill_sunshine-smooches_00

I clear heat embossed this little guy. I colored in the Sunshine with both Copic markers and colored pencils. I could not decide how I wanted it to look! ๐Ÿ™‚ I admittedly snickered when I finished this last night. Such fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

For this card, I used Ellen Hutson’s All Inside (and dies),ย  Bear Ware (and dies), and Warm Fuzzies. From Paper Smooches, I used the Rainbow Die and Glasses dies. SOOOO fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m entering this in the Ellen Hutson March Mix It Up Challenge: Paper Smooches…I’m actually early this time, so be sure you check it out too!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for stopping by! Have an AWESOME sunshiney weekend!!

Perfect Right Now

I think this little bunny is so stinkin’ cute with his floppiness <3. I’ve been wanting to use him in bulk. ๐Ÿ™‚

hawkins_jill_cuddle-bunny

When I saw the current Ellen Hutson’s January Pin Sight Challenge, I thought now is the time! The photo inspiration directly and indirectly refers to COZY! โค Perfect! ๐Ÿ™‚

hawkins_jill_cuddle-bunny_00

I used Ellen Hutson’s All Inside, Bear Ware and Warm Fuzzies! I colored these cuties all with Copic Markers, and die cut them out. I then used some Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink to add a little watercolor to the panel. I heat embossed the sentiment and stitched it right on. To finish, I matted the panel and put it all together. This took a little bit of time overall, but in the end, the cute result was worth it! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m entering this in the Essentials by Ellen January Pin-Sights Challenge. Check it out.

You are Sunshine!

I am popping in today, to share a card I made for Ellen Hutson’s Mix It Up Challenge! I am so glad I snuck this in! I enjoy combining products I like so much!

For this card, I used Ellen Hutson’s All Inside and Avery Elle’s Hello Stamp. I’d venture to guess, this AE set is long retired (?), but it is a fave of mine still! ๐Ÿ™‚

hawkins_jill_sunshine_00_wm

I stamped and used my Zig pens to watercolor in an ombrรฉ sunshiney look! It’s not quite as smooth as I’d have liked, but I decided if I messed with it anymore, I’d have watercolor outside the lines! ๐Ÿ™‚hawkins_jill_sunshine_wm

I scored the panel, and stitched it on a card base with a paper clip. That was about it! Lots of simple sunshine to mail!

I’m entering this in the Ellen Hutson January Mix It Up Challenge: Avery Elle. It’s about over, but if you run, you can sneak one in too! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks for stopping by!

feel better soon

I needed a little love to send in the mail today. I was inspired by all the lovely RED and white in the current Ellen Hutson’s Pin-Sights Challenge, so I ran with that. I love white with some deep, dark red! ๐Ÿ™‚

hawkins_jill_feelbetter I white heat embossed the sentiments on the background repeatedly. It’s such a subtle and delightful detail to add.hawkins_jill_feelbetter_00I then die cut some hearts from Ellen Hutson’s All Inside dies and stamped a sentiment from Warm Fuzzies! The background was stamped & heat embossed with the stamps from All Inside. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m entering this in the current Essentials by Ellen December Pin-Sights Challenge.
