I’m popping in today to share the fun NEW RELEASE from Ellen Hutson! So. Many. Cool. Letters! (and lovely flowers!)Gah! I love clean fonts and this release is chock full! Check out this card I made with this fun new set called ESSENTIALS BY ELLEN DESIGNER DIES, Block Words by Julie Ebersole. Julie’s fantastic strikes again! You all have been warned! 🙂
Gah! So fun and easy to use these new little words! I just die cut them and then used some Press N Seal wrap to hold the letters in their places while I added a dab of glue to the back of them. Then when you adhere them down, the spacing is all correct and they are ready to roll!!
I used Candied Apple and Worn Lipstick colored Distress Oxide ink pads to blend on inks over the super awesome Altenew Stencil called Cube Builder. I also used Mustard Seed Distress Ink. 🙂 My geometric loving self has been wanting this stencil since I first laid eyes on it. I mean, how cool is that?! 🙂
I then had to make another personalized card and the new Classic Block Alpha by Julie Ebersole set makes quick work of that! Such a great blocky/bold font. ❤ ! I combined these letters with the small gingham backdrop from the NEW Plaid Maker stamp set. (<–Fun set! I have three plaids on my desk waiting to be cards! 🙂
To polish it off, I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear confetti bits , some stitching and some scoring! Voila!
So fun! Looking forward to giving this card to a teacher soon! 🙂
Be sure to check out all the fun new products released today over at Ellen Hutson HERE! Have a great Sunday!
Thanks for stopping by!
Take care– Jill 🙂
Just a note 🙂
I always love using this Dodecagram set from Altenew.
I stamped, embossed, and watercolored these images. I stitched and matted the panel to complete the card. Delightful! 🙂
This is another card panel from the latest #thedailymarker30 day. My other projects are here on Instagram: jilldhawkins

I thought I’d pop in and share the two Teacher Appreciation cards we delivered at the beginning of this fun week!
This first one’s sentiment from Altenew makes my heart warm. Especially when teaching preschoolers. I think there is a lot of love and care that goes along with teaching the youngest kids. 🙂
This stamp is Teachers Rule from Altenew, the Notebook die is from Technique Tuesday, the PP is from Cosmo Cricket and the background die is MFT. 🙂Because my son has two Awesome teachers:
This stamp is Little Minds from Avery Elle. The dies are from MFT. 🙂
Super enjoy these Teacher stamp sets. I stamped and colored these images a couple of months back, so I wasn’t rushing about this week. But guess what? Yup, didn’t get them assembled til late Sunday night. Ugh. Never fails! 🙂
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again…Teachers Rock! We have had the pleasure of two amazing teachers, two years in a row. Grateful for their energy and PATIENCE! 🙂
I just received this fantastic set, World’s Greatest Award from Technique Tuesday. Another fun one for Teachers! I hope to make something later this week with my little helper, and share it after. We’ll see what pans out!
Happy Wednesday! I love this stamping technique, and I’m not sure I’ve used it recently? I first stamp in white, and then I stamp over that with dye ink. Every time, I sort of ooh and ahh how fun the results are, both at first, and when it dries. You can also stamp the color dye ink before the white is dry, and that’ll give another look! 🙂
This card is using stamps from both Neat & Tangled and Altenew. <3. I just wish I had stamped the ‘Thanks’ in gray. I had it out, and grabbed the wrong pad. 😦 Whomp whomp. Could have been worse, right? It could have been purple! Ack! 🙂
So. Fun. 🙂
Have you seen the latest release from Neat & Tangled? Oh. My. Word. Such good stuff. Especially my friend Miriam’s designs. 😉 Dang, check this coolness out HERE and HERE. I die. 😉 And the Lumberjack Love stamp set is adorable!
This is the set I used from Altenew: Halftone Thanks. I have more cards coming soon using this cool set!
The Wonky Stitched Rectangles are from My Favorite Things. 😉
Thanks for stopping in!
This is one of the Altenew stamp sets I wanted for quite some time. I am drawn to geometric images. I love lines, which is good because I drew thousands of them, with a pencil (!), in college/grad school!! 😉
I first embossed and painted in the fish from the Altenew Ori Kami stamp set. (This card I used Distress Inks to watercolor with.) They came out awesome. Then, I had to paint the water. Eeek! I didn’t want to botch it! There is a little overrun of the paint in places I didn’t want it, but hey, that’s watercolor and handmade, right?Watercolors always dry differently than they look initially. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. 🙂 Either way, fun to do!

…oooooweee! I just really, really like this set from Altenew! 🙂 The possibilities…!
I love these layering stamp sets, but the flower ones and I just don’t seem to get along super well? I like those flower sets, and enjoy seeing other people’s awesome creations, but I sort of fall on my face using them. But I’ll keep trying with the set I have! I’ll share someday…?
Throw in a little PS Uplifters sentiment love and some stitching…done! Send off to brighten a mailbox! 😉
