Hola! Thought I’d pop in and freshin’ things up a bit here. I have been busy working on some cards for April and going forward, but wanted to share a quick little cute with you! 🙂
These stamps are from Avery Elle and they are adorable! I thank my friend Amy for letting me borrow them to stamp! 🙂 They are called Party Pals and can be found HERE and their dies HERE.
eeeeeep! Their little squinty faces! 🙂
They are so sweet, holding their little signs!
I VERY rarely use any accoutrements to decorate my cards, so this was extra fun to pick out a few and work with them (see supply name below). These awesome frames whip up cards so fast! love that!
I used Pink Paislee’s Pick Me Up Patterned Paper and Ephemera. Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine sent these to me for having a card in the recent issue. Have you seen THAT, by the way!!? I am so fortunate to have three cards in this awesome issue! This magazine is has a great layout and flawless writing that you WANT to read! I haven’t submitted since PC&S (RIP) went down, so this is ALL VERY exciting for me!! 🙂 Such fun to hold a REAL MAGAZINE and bonus to find your own cards there in it! Check it out online OR pick up a hard copy at Barnes & Noble.
I colored everything with Copic markers and and used the Pink Paislee to fill in the rest, adding a little stitching of course. 😉
Thanks for stopping by! ❤
Take care– Jill 🙂
Happy Almost Christmas! Just popping in to share a couple *Thank You* notes. One I made back in the fall and forgot to share, and this holiday one I made last night. Because: Crafty therapy! 🙂
Eeeeep is this the cutest little sleigh full or what? 🙂 I used Avery Elle’s Sledding Critters and the coordinating die HERE. For the background I blended on Cracked Pistachio Oxide ink. ❤
I used Copic Markers to color these cuties and added Glossy Accents, Wink of Stella, and some Nuvo drops. So fun! I ❤ THIS stamp from Avery Elle, so naturally this is the winter counterpart 😉 . (Check out a card I made with the Birthday Bus stamp/die HERE!)
Next up, I made the Thank You card below using THIS unique stamp from Concord & 9th. They always have some clever goods over there! 🙂 Many Thanks Turnabout Stamp! Hooray!
you can tell by the pumpkin in the pic, I made this back in the Fall, so it has more of an autumn feel.
lso used Concord & 9th’s Many Thanks dies to create the focal point speech bubble. I have always been a HUGE fan of speech bubbles, and this one is large and FUN! 🙂
Ok, that is all from me today! I had a busy day of laundry, baking and family fun! More to do on all that tomorrow too!! 🙂
Have a Happy Christmas All! Jill 🙂
Hola! I’m sharing this card I made for my niece, who is turning 12!!!??? How!!?? I swear she was just turning 3 yesterday. Yup, I’m that adult that cannot digest that children just keep on growing! Haaa! 🙂 ❤
I thought this bear would be fantastic to hold some fun balloons! AND a cupcake, while sporting a party hat! Busy little dude! 🙂
I colored the cutie bear and his accessories with Copic markers, added some Stickles and Wink of Stella sparkle. I tied silver thread to each balloon (which, while time consuming, is a fun detail) and finished it off with a little washi tape and stitching. In the end, it’s a little bit busier of a card than I generally make, but it is a PARTY! 🙂
For this, I used Essentials by Ellen All Inside ( and dies), EH’s Silver Linings, and Avery Elle’s Numbered Balloons and Party Animal stamp/die.
I’m adding this for the Mix-It Up Challenge with Avery Elle over at Ellen Hutson! Perfect! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! Biggest birthday wishes to E on Monday! Shhhhhh! 🙂 ❤
Hooray for the weekend! I was trying to do nothing last night, but apparently I cannot do that because I ended up making this card. 🙂
Let me just say: I used more purple on this card than I’ve used all year? Haaaaaa!
For this, I used Essentials by Ellen stamps set, Wonky Backdrops and Avery Elle’s Punny Pantry stamps. I completely enjoy this Avery Elle set because PUNS! 🙂 I was fortunate (and super excited!) to be gifted this at a crafty retreat. Thank you, Avery Elle! ❤
I colored this radish with Copic markers and fussy cut it out. I stamped the Wonky Backdrop with a Hero Arts ombre ink pad. Love how that turned out! 🙂 I stitched on some patterned paper and cardstock strips before I added the lot with foam adhesive. Such a fun card!
I’m adding this for the Mix-It Up Challenge with Avery Elle over at Ellen Hutson right now. Plenty of time to join in, so hoping to make another one day. Wishful thinking anyway ;)! Check it out and join in! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Tuesday! Today I am sharing a card that I fought to finish! LOL! I kept having mishaps/mistakes, but in the end, I prevailed and finished it! (I won’t tell you how long that took!)
I was all done with the Copic coloring and dropped water on the camper while making the background with Distress Inks. Hence, making the decision where the sentiment would go! Haaaaa! Usually I’m super careful, but….. well, you should see my desk this week. Yikes. *rolls eyes*
I’ll spare you all the other flubs, but man, sometimes projects test you, don’t they? And the debate about using the grill or not using the grill went on for several minutes. In the end, I decided these campers were hungry. 😉
For this card, I used the fabulously fun Avery Elle set Glamper Campers! Oh my word, this set! ❤ (That flamingo alone! I want to make a card with just that little fella!) I have been pining for it, and finally used a friend’s set back in April. I stamped and die cut a bunch of images then. Now I am ready to make more. Saves a lot of time later! Except when you keep making a mess! LOL. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Trails!
Happy Summer! Just popping in with a couple quicker cards I made last week. It was a crazy week, but I did sneak these in and felt better! 🙂
I used my Zig Clean Color pens to watercolor these in. (Then I photographed them with Copic markers, and I think that is just funny! Shows how time crunched things got.) I finished them with some stitching and some Wink of Stella sparkle.
I can’t wait to use more of these stamps soon! SO fun! 🙂 I used Avery Elle’s The Scoop. I think this set is delightful, and would also pair awesome with their newer ice cream treat stamp set. I don’t own that one yet, but the treats smile, so I really must some day 😉 .
Yum! Happy Summer!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Friday!
Today’s post is a special one. I am joining in a blog hop for Autism Awareness. My friends Veronica Zalis and Tenia Nelson are keeping up with this great idea in support of their children. I could not agree more with helping to shine a light on Autism Awareness.
I encourage you to check out Autism Speaks. It is a great website full of information and educational links to various resources.
I hope the world can learn to be more patient and considerate to those affected by Autism. I know for certain it is always appreciated.
Ok, on with my card, made with blue love….
This little cutie skater is from Mama Elephant, along with the sentiment. The backgrounds are My Favorite Things. The clouds are Avery Elle, along with the hill and panel die.
This came together with some fun little accents I “borrowed” from a friend. ❤️
If you click on the link below you can add the link to your blog post!
Big hugs to Veronica and Tenia for organizing this hop!
Hop back to the beginning for the next stop!
Thanks for stopping in and I hope you’ll spread the love 😉
