Hello –Happy Saturday! I’m here today to share a new card I made using Honey Bee Stamps!!! You can find the whole of the NEW RELEASE HERE.
For this card, I used Honey Bee’s new Balloon Alphabet, Balloon Numbers, Candle Coverplate, and Buzz Stamp Set. What a fun way to celebrate a special birthday!
Personalizing cards made specially for the recipient is so much fun! Now my goal is to locate this card again when it’s my niece’s birthday! 🙂 haaa!
I die cut the Candle Coverplate twice; once in white and I put the same die cut underneath in black to create some easy depth, giving the whole card front a little oomph.
I added a little gradient color to the letters and then coated them with Glossy Accents, leaving them to dry overnight. I also added a little gradient color to the card base, under the Candle Coverplate.
I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Buzz Stamp Set and white heat embossed it. I added the sentiment and Balloon Alphabet on with foam tape. To finish it off, I added a few Bokeh Lights Confetti Mix.
I hope Elise likes this card ❤ ! That is, if I can locate it to send later this summer. 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope have a great weekend!
Happy Friday! I’m back to share another card using Paper Smooches February release!
This fun idea popped in my head one night. 🙂 I used the new Let’s Celebrate Icons dies.
I had this cute little fish sitting on my desk, and he looked like he wanted to visit a friend ❤ . I thought of these balloons as the sacks you take fish home in. Those sacks have greenery on the bottom, right? 😉 😉
I colored one fish in with Copic Markers and the others with Zig watercolor pens. I also used the Mirror Blocks to stamp the fish swimming toward her friend. This sentiment is from the new, Let’s Celebrate stamp set. The fish is from the Courteous Cuties with the dies. I super enjoy all the critters in that set. ❤
Oh, and the heart is from the Cozy Coffee die.
Be sure to check out the Paper Smooches Blog!! It’s a party this month! 🙂
Thank you again for stopping by–enjoy your weekend!
Lots of fun birthdays to make cards for! I used some awesome Avery Elle stamp sets for this one: Numbered Balloons, Party Animal, and Surf’s Up! I decided I’d love to have the dies from the Numbered Balloons! 🙂 Never fails. Haaa!Oh, to be five! 🙂
I colored the van with Copics, used Distress inks to rub over, and finished off the balloon with some Wink of Stella shine. That was a mistake bc my WOS pen is sort of on the fritz and spurts out a lot all at once. Should have waited til after I photo’d. I say this EVERY TIME I touch that pen! Grrrrr. Haaaa! Oh well. 🙂
The wonky stitch rectangle die cut is MFT. I’m pretty much using that on everything right now 🙂 The STAX set it comes from rocks! 🙂
That’s about it for today. Stay warm! I went out this morning and it was 1 lovely degree today! 🙂
