A fun month ahead, as I have the pleasure to Guest over at the Color Throwdown this month!
I love seeing my IG feed on Wednesdays because of the consistency of color cards these ladies post for this challenge! (That yellow and blue last week… <3!)
Here are this week’s colors for #391:
Oooo that ^ says nothing but SPRING! 🙂
Here’s my take:
Mother’s Day is this Sunday and I’m suddenly hoping no Mother in my family reads my blog, because: Spoiler Alert! 😉
These flower circles are made with the newly released Beautiful Bouquet from Technique Tuesday. This stamp would be perfecto for wedding cards! I mean, perfecto! Quick and easy, or get in there, and get your detail on! 🙂
I stamped the bouquet and die cut it into circles. Then I chose to do a quick watercolor with the CTD colors. The hardest part is arranging the circles, right!? 🙂
I also used these two Technique Tuesday sets for the sentiment: Be Happy (<–awesomesauce) and Mom’s Day.
Be sure to hop over and see what their whole team made! Sure to be happiness with these colors! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! I’m so happy to be “hanging” with some of my creatively talented friends from the ol’ The Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge too. Thanks Lisa, and all the ladies, for your inspiration every week! 🙂
I’ll see you back here next Wednesday for more FUN color inspiration!
I received THIS Fuchsia stamp set from Technique Tuesday, and was wondering if I could do it justice. I cannot lie: Flowers, especially lovely, realistic ones, are not my forte. But, always up for a challenge, I tried! 🙂
Definitely something different for me overall. I also tried using watercolor over watercolor. Does that makes sense? Haaa! Something to build on going forward. 🙂
For these cards, I used Technique Tuesdays’ set Fuchsia – Greenhouse Society Stamps – April 2016. I know many people who would rock these stamps, and they are issued monthly. Very cool. If you want to see some pretty examples with this set, check these out HERE.
I also used the Be Happy set. ❤
Thanks for stopping by to see something out of my comfort zone. 🙂 I figure, if nothing else, it is good for my brain. 🙂
How fancy is that? Technique Tuesday on Thursdays! I confuse myself, and I like it. 🙂 Haaa!
When one uberly talented person asks you to make a couple o’ things, you get a *wee* bit excited and don’t stop making things. 😉 Plus, have you seen Teri Anderson’s new Technique Tuesday designs? Fantabulous. Check some out HERE. OK, on with the cards, even though I could gush all day! 🙂
First up, I got busy with some of the new dies: Heart Strings, followed with the lovely Cath Edvalson’s, Garden Leaves. Oh the fun!
These heart strings are even more fun than I expected. Plus, you get a bunch of hearts die cut from the strings! 🙂 And the stamp set is a FAVE: Be Happy. #SOdig
Then I got all sparkly and whatnot:
These leaves are fantastic and versatile. I tried for more of a polished look here. I don’t really do polished, but hey, I tried! 🙂
I have so enjoyed working with the new TT stuff, and I thank you Teri for being so awesome. And for the many laughs this past month. (Me? Excited? Nah. 🙂 )
Be sure to head over to the Technique Tuesday blog and catch up there! I’ll see you back here next Thursday for more! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by-
I have been a busy bee working on things for February! So much fun to come. In doing so, I have made several pieces that collect on my desk, til they land on something. This little watercolored panel final parked itself last night 🙂
I adore this Technique Tuesday Be Happy stamp set. (I’m pretty sure I’m interested in every set Teri Anderson whips up. Gah!) Love that handwriting!! 🙂
I also used TT’s new Heart Strings die. It is to die for. So delicate and SUPER versatile.
I embossed and used some crazy watercoloring for the sentiment. I stamped the card base using Versamark. Love that Versamark! 🙂 I thought this little ditty came together in such a happy little manner. Sometimes you just need to let things sit and percolate. 🙂
The background stamp and the Wonky Stitched Rectangles are from My Favorite Things. 😉
Have a great weekend! Burrrrr!
