Here’s my take on MFT Sketch Challenge #286. My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration Blog!I made a horizontal card which, feels a little foreign to me nowadays. 🙂
I used this MFT diagonal coverup, so the sketch took an angle by default. 😉
I die cut everything and then did some stitching. Finally, I added glossy accents to all the letters. I was on the fence about doing that, but it always adds a little pop of fun, I think. If only I didn’t get hand cramps from squeezing my Glossy Accents bottle. Haaaa! 🙂
Bonus! I used the colors from the Color Throwdown Challenge this week–#398! When I saw that awesome combo this week, I was hoping to get in on it 🙂 Success! So summery and spunky! Check out their Color Challenge this (and every) week HERE.
My card is made with supplies at My Favorite Things. Die-namics: Stitched Cover Up Companion Diagonal, and the Highrise Lower Case Alphabet. Card stock: Smooth White, Black Licorice, Limelight, Lemon Drop, Razzle berry, and Cherry Crisp.

I thought it would be fun to play along with the MFT Sketch Challenge #262 on the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration blog. Fun stuff to see there!
Here’s my take: I wanted a Manly Valentine, if there is such a thing? 🙂
I was hoping to use some die cuts I already had for this Chunky Chevron Cover Up. I found them from making THESE cards! #winning 😉
This second photo is redundant, but I couldn’t get a detail photo to turn out. So here’s the closest thing. Ha! 🙂
My card is made with the following supplies at My Favorite Things: Die-namics: LJD All My Love, Thank you, Chunky Chevron Cover Up, Stripes Cover Up. Card stocks: Factory Green, Steel Grey, Cherry Crisp, Smooth White, Silver Sparkle, Vellum.
Thanks for stopping in!
As mentioned previously, I give myself the pass on making our family Christmas cards. As much as I enjoy it, I sort of lose my mind somewhere along the production line. 🙂
Of course, time is even tighter in December, but I kept these very simple and managed them in one sitting. I mailed them out before Christmas, to my teammates! Whoot! 🙂 It’s the little victories!
I was also in a race with the mailman, so I snapped just a few quick photos. 🙂 While these cards are very similar, they are all slightly different. 🙂
Fun with non-holiday supplies! Always fun to stretch what you have in different ways. 🙂
Don’t forget, there is a little time left to participate in Sketch Challenge #260 and over a week left for joining Color Challenge #36 on the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration blog!

This week’s sketch:Here is my first take this week:
I love the pieces out of the newest Diagonal Quilt Square Cover Up. So I die cut a bunch of quilts, then used the pieces. 🙂 I think I stuck a lot tighter to the sketch this week!! Ha! 🙂
I made another card the other night. I had to use this cutie reindeer!!
Between the happy jumping Santa, and this reindeer, this BB Jingle All the Way set earned its way into my heart. 🙂 I think I’m going to add a little sparkle to that bright nose.
I used watercolors for these little cuties. The wood paper warms it up so sweetly. 🙂
(This stamp set is a hot commodity. So if you’re interested in it, and it is not in stock, be sure to sign up for the back in stock notification. It’s just a simple click if you have an MFT account! 🙂 )

This week’s sketch:Here is my take this week:
I was scanning my supplies of what to use this week, and there were these little mice, in their winter warmth. 😉 I’m also in a blending phase, so I wanted to do that. Haaa! 😉 MFT Die inks are stellar for blending. Especially on the blending card. Photos do not do the Sparkle card stock justice. It’s soooo sparkly in person! Ahhh sparkle. 🙂
I hope to be back later this week with another MFT card, time willing! The holidays are beginning to have their rippling effects on time… 🙂 Thoroughly enjoyable, but ripples nonetheless.
