Garden Greetings!

Happy Friday! I am back on my Friday Paper Smooches schedule this week! Last week, we were out-of-town having fun with family. But I’m getting back on track slowly this week! πŸ™‚

If you haven’t seen it all, Paper Smooches June release is available HERE!

I made these projects I’m sharing today with the new Garden Greetings stamp set and dies. This set isΒ  fun to color! πŸ™‚

First up, is one of my favorite cards this month–This stamp and matching die makes just the sweetest little thank you card!

The added bee slays me! πŸ™‚Β  I colored these flowers with Copic markers and added Glossy Accents, letting them dry overnight. I added the image to a card panel that I reverse scored repeatedly. I finished it all off with a stitched “window” and some sparkly sequins! πŸ™‚

This BFF below, was one of the first things I colored from this set. ❀ Some nights, you just want to color!

The cutest little bees are from the Courteous Cuties (seriously the cutest!) set, with matching dies.

I added Glossy Accents to these images as well. I think I was determined to go through a whole bottle this last month or so!Β  LOL! πŸ™‚

This tag die is the For You tag die. I love its squatty look! I finished off this card with some twine and stitching. πŸ™‚

Gah, it’s all such fun!! (You can find the card I shared previously using this set HERE.) ❀

Thanks for stopping by again! Have an awesome weekend!

because nice matters

Happy Sunday! I hope your day is a great one! I still need to finish my Father’s Day cards…yikes!

I wanted to hop in and share this cutie bear card using the new Paper Smooches Kind Bear Die and the Kindness Sampler! ❀ How fantastic is this sentiment? And how true?  I didn’t think ahead about photographing this one, so the white on white was not a brilliant choice in that regard. However, in person, it looks good! πŸ™‚

I also used the Rose Frame Die and Harlequin Die (dry embossed) for the background. I think it made the perfect frame for this cutie! πŸ™‚

I used colored cardstocks to make the bear, but I also used Copic markers to color his flower. I coated a few bits with Glossy Accents and added some stitching too.

All of the new Paper Smooches June release can be found HERE! πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great rest of the weekend!!  πŸ™‚

I’m So Glad I Picked You!

Happy FRIDAY! What a week. Phew.

Today, I’m sharing this floraltastic card using the Garden Blooms dies and the Kindness Sampler! ❀

I laid up some strips of cardstock and then die cut the flowers. I then overlaid the flower outlines on top in white. Finally, I stamped the sentiment as the stem to the flowers, and added some leaves. Fun!

These flowers are awesome and so versatile! A perfect addition to the PS lineup! πŸ™‚

Paper Smooches Fun!

I’m poppin’ in because the new Paper Smooches June release is available HERE! I was going to share my favorites from this release, but then the list just included everything, for one reason or another! Haaaa! So be sure to check it all out! πŸ™‚

I thought I’d share this fun card I made with the new Garden Greetings stamp set and dies. This set combines the sentiment and images, all in one! Super quick and easy for cards! πŸ™‚

I colored this “hi” with Copic makers and added some Glossy accents. I added it to the Tag Stitched Die that I die cut from patterned paper! (Yay me, using PP!)

I then busted out some old school corrugated paper and added the tags to a card. Kinda fun. Kinda retro, right? Haaa! πŸ™‚

While I’m here, thought I’d share these cards I made for my son’s teachers, as end of the year cards. I’m sure they need a summer break too, BIG time! So I ran with that theme. I’ll be sending these along with some summer goodies as a HUGE thank you for an awesome first year in Elementary School. Phew. I can’t believe it’s almost wrapped up! I will not cry. I will not cry. I’ll totally cry.Β  πŸ™‚

I used some Frosted Lace stickles to create an “icey” look. Kinda fun, but photographs like muck. haaaa! Better in person, thank goodness! πŸ˜‰

The little smiley is from the previously released Pineapple Crush set. ❀

I rubbed on some Persimmon Distress Ink to give the Popsicles a little touch, but it pretty much all soaked in to the paper. I have a knack for that too. πŸ˜‰

And of course, googley eyes! πŸ™‚

For this I used the Cool Treats dies. These are a staple! So so so fun! I also used the sparky Summer Sampler set! I just partially inked the sentiment stamps and stacked the words that way. It is probably MUCH easier to cut the stamp, but, I have issues. LOL!!

Getting in the summer grove!! Yay!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you Relax and Chill!Β  πŸ™‚

Totally Adorable

Happy Easter! I hope those who celebrate had a wonderful Easter! Our weather was unreal here today, and I can’t remember a nicer Easter day, weather wise.

I thought I’d pop in to share some more fun from this month’s Technique Tuesday release! They can be found HERE!

I used purple and it all turned out OK! LOL! I am not a huge fan of purple, but I did try to it give it a few nods last month. Too funny!

This card uses the new fun set, Bunny Owl. (You cannot beat this price point for a cute lil’ set!)

I also used the new Kids Are Cool stamp set, which I ❀ ,and need more time in the day to use all the stamps there! πŸ™‚ I think if you journal or scrapbook, this set would be extra perfecto for you!I also used the Memo Pad Card die. This die never fails me. πŸ™‚ I used my Zig pens to watercolor this cutie, and added some googley eyes, of course.

And while we are here, enjoying some spring cards, I thought I’d share this silly one I made using the Bailey the Bunny stamp set. That tooshie is the best!

I was definitely doing some snickering while making this lil’ nutty one! πŸ™‚

This sentiment is from Sassy Family. If you haven’t checked out the latest series of stamps in the “Sassy” line, I recommend them highly. I think they are super funny!! I love to send cards with laughs. πŸ™‚ These bunnies were colored with Copic markers.

Here’s to everyone having a great week! I’m hoping to catch up on some stuff sometime this week? Yikes– I’m a bit behind on things–no pun intended! Haaaa!

Take care–

Perfect Right Now

I think this little bunny is so stinkin’ cute with his floppiness <3. I’ve been wanting to use him in bulk. πŸ™‚

When I saw the current Ellen Hutson’s January Pin Sight Challenge, I thought now is the time! The photo inspiration directly and indirectly refers to COZY! ❀ Perfect! πŸ™‚

hawkins_jill_cuddle-bunny_00

I used Ellen Hutson’s All Inside, Bear Ware and Warm Fuzzies! I colored these cuties all with Copic Markers, and die cut them out. I then used some Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink to add a little watercolor to the panel. I heat embossed the sentiment and stitched it right on. To finish, I matted the panel and put it all together. This took a little bit of time overall, but in the end, the cute result was worth it! πŸ™‚

I’m entering this in the Essentials by Ellen January Pin-Sights Challenge. Check it out.

Some Love Today!

Popping in super quick today to share a little (Lawn Fawn) love!

hawkins_jill_octopi_wm

I used Lawn Fawn’s little Octopi My Heart set. Awwwww! ❀

hawkins_jill_octopi_00_wm

Such little cuties! I colored these with Copic markers (after stamping on the wrong card stock again *smacks forehead*). After that, I added a little Wink of Stella, which never shows in the photograph. I then finished it off with some googley eyes, of course! πŸ˜‰

The watercolored circle die is from My Favorite Things and the background stencil (rubbed with Distress Ink & white pigment ink) is from Studio Calico! πŸ™‚

Have a great weekend–Thanks for stopping by!
