Snow Bunny (Hill)!

Happy Sunday! I thought I’d pop in to share a few cards I made for a holiday gift! I think this little Neat and Tangled bunny, Bunny Slopes (and Bunny Slopes die) by Elena Roussakis is adorable!! Eeeep! I especially love it because I am not a skilled skier. Well, I’m not even sure I can call myself a skier? My very good friend can attest to this…. quite funny! πŸ™‚

Eeeeeeeep!

All of these I colored with Copic Markers. I had some trouble blending my Orange/Peaches, but in the end, it’s all good. πŸ˜‰

I just cut these little hills with my scissors and stitched them on at the end. Quick and simple!

I added THESE sequins for a little sparkly snow action. πŸ™‚

For all of these, I just free cut some clouds from post-it notes and used those as a mask. I then used Distress Oxide inks and brushed those on. I used both Cracked Pistachio and Broken China.

These sentiments are (PERFECT) from one of my favorite N & T sets, Scandinavian Prints Christmas! Love this set by my friend Miriam! If you do too, you’ll enjoy THIS stencil as well. πŸ™‚ I have yet to nab it myself. πŸ™‚

I couldn’t decide which pics to use, so I figured I’d just share them all.Β  πŸ™‚

I made these to gift as a set. Maybe I should have made five then? Hmmmm…. I’m thinking now, I might just have to keep them and mail them individually? Bwwaaahahahahaa! πŸ™‚ I have some friends that these would be perfect for!

Since it’s a gift set (now up for debate as I type this…) I’m entering it in the Neat & Tangled Little Tangles this month! I haven’t been able to play along for some time and I’ve missed it!Β  Check it out HERE–always fun!! πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you enjoy these little bunny cards as much as I do! Cuteness OVERLOAD! πŸ™‚ ❀

Take care! Jill πŸ™‚

Dude, …Chill

Happy Freezing Friday all! I have a couple of Paper Smooches snowman cards to share today! I ❀️ snowmen, and snow ladies! πŸ™‚

This first card uses Paper Smooches new Snowman Card Dies–I cannot get over the cute!

I haven’t purchased a new patterned paper pad in about two years now–Gasp! I know, I too am impressed I made it that long! But I knew I needed some plaid, so down I fell and scooped up one 6 x 6 pad last month. LOL! Totally worth it, right? πŸ™‚

The fun glasses are PS Glasses Dies and the sentiment is from the Freezy Fella set. I just added some twig arms I cut using black scraps. Annnnnnd of course, some giant googley eyes! I tried not to, but it happened anyway! πŸ™‚

Next up, I used the new Wine Sampler for this fun sentiment and the snow man is from the previously released Swanky Snowdudes set. Snowman ❀ ! πŸ™‚

I scored the card panel before adding the For You tags. I colored the snowman with Copics.

Eeeeep! Love these snowcards! Perfect timing as we received our first dusting. πŸ™‚

Ok, I’m off to tackle the CRAZY LONG To Do list! Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy your weekend! πŸ™‚

Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

Let’s Squalk About it!

I hope those who celebrated our Thanksgiving yesterday had a fun, tummy filled one!

My cute little card today uses the new Baby Birds stamps and dies, of course. πŸ™‚

I colored this little cutie with Copic Markers and added a white heat embossed sentiment to the mix. I also added a little watercolor panel embossed with the Paper Smooches Cross Stitch die. I love this die as much for cross-stitching as I do for embossing backgrounds!

My signature mark seems to be this watercolor dripping off the side of the card nowadays. LOL. Not tragic, but definitely not planned either!

I ❀ this Baby Bird set!! Meep!! (And I’d like to note that I used Purple. πŸ™‚ A rare sighting! haahaaa!)

The awesome Paper Smooches November release is available HERE! ❀

Have a fantastic weekend…napping, shopping,Β  enjoying family …or all the above!! πŸ™‚

Take care–Jill πŸ™‚

Happy Monday…I hope!

I thought I’d pop in with a few Paper Smooches cards I’ve made recently. I just ❀ my Paper Smooches stash!

This first card uses the new Baby Birds stamps and dies, of course. Because seriously, this set is the cutest thing on my desk! πŸ˜‰ The timing of this set was also perfect because I needed this sentiment to make and mail a card to my sweet friend.

I also used the Pineapple 2 die and the Deco Edges dies. Eeeeep! This is the cutest little bird! πŸ™‚ (We joined Page Maps this month and you can check out that HERE. I used the sketch they sent me to make this card–FUN!!)

This next one I intended to share on Taco Tuesday, but let’s celebrate today, Ok? Everyday is a good day for a taco, after all. πŸ™‚

Oh my word! How fantastic is this taco from Paper Smooches Calorie Free set! Pssst grab this set before it’s gone! πŸ˜‰

I don’t have the coordinating dies, so I just fussy cut out this little Copic colored taco and gave him some googley eyes, of course. πŸ™‚ So fun and PERFECT to send my taco loving friend! πŸ™‚

Next up, I used Paper Smooches Garden Greetings stamp set and dies. Eeeeeep! I LOVE this bee! I needed some Thank You cards and found myself coloring tulips. In November. LOL. πŸ˜‰

I colored these and die cut them out. I added some Wink of Stella glittery shine and some Glossy Accents over that. I scored some little card pieces and cut the edges with the new Deco Edges die. Although, I see in these photos it’s hard to see either of those details too good!?

The new-goodness-filled Paper Smooches November release is available HERE! ❀

Thanks for stopping by again and for all the kind comments I have received here lately…and always, for that matter! So kind of you all! ❀

Have an awesome week!

Eeeeps! Cutie little birds! I created a quick and simple Distress Ink watercolor back drop and when that dried, I stamped the birds in Versafine Black. I added some wonky stitches under their feet and sewed the watercolor panel onto the card front. πŸ™‚

I love the simple typed font with the curly script words! Delightful! πŸ™‚

This little bird I stamped on three same size pieces of cardstock and pieced them together. I added  a couple black strips and some stitching and Voila! πŸ™‚ SMILE! I love these kind of cards and I love to mail them!

These little birdies have coordinating dies, and those can be found HERE. I don’t have them, but I think they would be fun to use to layer up these little birds in flocks! πŸ™‚

While I have you, I thought it would be fun to share a couple coffee cards I made with TT’s new October goodies!

I just love how simple this first card is and how it turned out! I wish I have made a few more at the time.  πŸ™‚ I just used Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment ink on black paper to stamp this awesome coffee cup from the NEW Perk Up Stamp set.

This sentiment is from the Sassy Coffee set! Oh my word–these Sassy sets that Teri Anderson creates keep me cracking up time after time. I just think they are all a riot and can be found HERE.

This next card uses the same Sassy Coffee set, but over and over. Because I feel like that just needs repeating. πŸ™‚

I stamped the cute smiley coffee cup from the same set. You know I love any inanimate object that smiles. πŸ™‚ Haaaa!

I hope you are able to carve some time out today and create. I’m likely to do mine late tonight when our son goes to bed. But that’s normal. πŸ™‚ Have a great weekend and be sure to check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!  πŸ™‚ Including this new Chickadees 2.0 WCMD set!

Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

Fall Tidings and more!

Fall Tidings? That’s a thing, right? Well, it is now. LOL! πŸ™‚

Today, I’m popping in with a few more cards from the September Release (and others!) of Technique Tuesday! All the new goodies can be found HERE!

My first card features this month’s cutie owl, Framed Owl! Awwwww! ❀ I also used the sentiment from Sassy Birthday! Perfectly funny! πŸ™‚

I colored this cutie with Copic Markers and cut him out using the Clipboard die.

Next up, is this perfectly seasonal sentiment paired up with these layered leaves from the Fall Favorites set. These leaves stamp in such a cool fashion and I love the look in the end! It’s pretty subtle is these photos, but in person, it is lovely. Imagine the possibilities of layers with these!

I also added in some sweet acorns from the Fall Accents dies. When I made this card, we were actually experiencing sweater weather and I loved it! Suddenly, we are back into the low 90’s. Phew!

Another sweet and simple card using the Fall Accent dies is this one below:

This card is pretty simple and straight forward, but it would be easy to create a bunch of these for that very reason. This sentiment is from the Echinacea Stamp set. (All the finches are currently eating our dried up Echinacea flowers in the yard. ❀ )

And last, but not least, is this tidy little holiday number:

This pinecone (Pinecone Builder) ROCKS and I need to use it more! It comes with a solid cone to create a background for your delicate die cut. I used both delicate cuts here however. I die cut the pinecone,Β  as well as dry embossed it, to create some texture on the background

If you eliminated the “letterpress” background, this card would be fairly simple to create by the dozen! Of course, I love this handwritten sentiment paired with the typeface of “wishes”. This is from the Spirit of December stamp set. This sentiment set is crazy versatile, because you can mix up the sentiments as needed… and you don’t have to cut them. (the horror! LOL!) πŸ˜‰ πŸ™‚

Be sure to hop over and check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!Β  Lots of trouble to be had! πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by!!

Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

Technique Tuesday Flamingo FUN!

Happy Weekend! I am excited to share these cards I made with the September Release from Technique Tuesday! They can be found HERE!

I keep laughing at the sentiments is this super fun stamp set: Floyd and Frannie Flamingo stamp set and coordinating dies. So. Much. Fun.

I painted this background with my Kuretake watercolors and the flamingos with Copic Markers. This sentiment still makes me laugh to read it! πŸ™‚For this second card, I created a background with lots of masked off flamingos. Again, I colored these flamingos with Copic Markers and die cut them out. I white heat embossed the sentiment and die cut it out with the Postage Card die.

This has to be my favorite sentiment of the bunch. SO cracks me up! πŸ™‚

Be sure to hop over and check out the new stuff from Technique Tuesday HERE!  πŸ™‚ Lots of fun stuff!

Have an awesome weekend!
