It’s a new week and a New Year and I think I finally got some things crossed off my list today? It’s been nutty around here, to say the least! 🙂
I’m sharing a card I made today with the cuties from Neat & Tangled’s Lumberjack Love set. 🙂 I colored them for the last Daily Marker 30 challenge and last night they stumbled back onto my desk–I figured it was a sign I should make this card. ❤
I colored them with Copics and die cut them out, adding them to a simple card base that I scored and stitched. My fave! ❤ Plus, I mean, pun. Enough said. 😉
I’m thinking I will save this one for my husband on Valentine’s Day…shhhhhhh 🙂
Saving the most exciting part for last! I’m sharing the exciting news that I am joining the Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine’s 2019 Creative Team!!!

It was truly a highlight of 2018 for me to have a handful of my cards in their issues, and now here I am, part of the Creative Team! eeeeeeeeeep!
Thank you all for *listening* to my excitement and have a great week! ❤
Hola! Just popping in with a handful of treat tags I whipped up for teachers and staff. (And one little dude’s lunchbox 😉 ) ❤
For these, I used Taylored Expressions Gone Batty, Paper Smooches Tag Stitched Dies, Paper Smooches Teeny Stars, and Lawn Fawn’s Reveal Wheel Sentiments. Fun!
Eeeeeeep! Love that little bat.
I backed this patterned paper with cardstock for heft. Otherwise, just colored all with Copic Markers, added a few splats, googley eyes (of course), a few felt stars and done! Ready to give.
Halloween treats before everyone is inundated with sugar. Ha!! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
Take care– Jill 🙂

set! There are also coordinating dies HERE
I colored everything with Copic Markers and to the above card, I added snow drops with Nuvo white drops. It’s so snowy!! Funny because I made this card while I was sweating. LOL! 🙂
For this card, I also colored with Copic Markers and die cut out the pieces. I masked some stripes on the card panel and splattered with some paint. I stamped the sentiment, added some washi and finished it off with some stitching. Love this little bird!! 🙂And of course, because this is about the Holidays AND about fun, Technique Tuesday is offering up a Prize! They’ll give a Technique Tuesday gift certificate to someone who comments during this mini hop on one of our stops. Comments will be taken until September 20th. Happy Friday!! Today I’m here sharing a Feel Better Soon Paper Smooches card. 😉 I should have made one with just a dozen tissue boxes on it, because that is what I need right now. Allergies are out of this world awful. ugh.
Anywho–I think this card is fun and would definitely be smile worthy to receive in the mail! 🙂
I dry embossed the background with the Cross stitch die. I colored the cute little pieces with Copic markers and added some googley eyes (of course 😉 ). I then polished this off with the speech bubble, sentiment and some stitching.
All these fun stamps and dies are from Paper Smooches: Healthy Vibes, Healthy Vibes Icon Dies, Cross Stitch die, Word Bubble dies, and Kissables 1.

Have a great weekend!
Hello! Popping in today with a fun little card to pop in the mail very soon!
How cute is this dynamic little bundle of friends? Super cute! I borrowed this stamp at our retreat in March, and stamped it out then. My friend Caly was very generous, and helped me die cut this out with her Scan n Cut. Have you ever used one of those machines? Wow. It was pretty cool! 🙂
I scored this panel, added a strip of washi tape, stitched the panel to the card base, and added on the sentiment. I colored these critters last night with Copic markers and then popped them on with some foam tape. I should have colored them all silly colors, but for some reason, I started with the lion and he looks a little more realistic than the others. LOL! Barely. 😉
This stamp set is called Best Friends, and can be found on the Simon Says Stamp shop.
And perfect timing because I can enter this for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge HERE. The current challenge is Anything Goes! Whoohoooo!
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
Greetings! Popping in today to share a couple of cards today. Good Vibes for the weekend! 🙂
This sentiment stamp is from Neat & Tangled appropriately titled Good Vibes The background I made with Neat & Tangled’s On the Edge scallop stamp.
This next card, I colored everything with Copic markers just a tad. I borrowed this stamp from my friend Linda at our retreat last month and stamped it with Versafine on Bristol. (I clearly had prepped it to use Zig Clean Color Markers on–Ha!.) I thought I had used Copic friendly ink and paper, but I did not. Oooops! You can see a little nose or two smudged, but it could have been a lot worse! If I had this stamp, I would have just stamped it again, but I had to work with what I had. And then, I sent it to Linda, because it is the perfect card for her! (sans smudging, of course) 🙂
These stamps are from Mama Elephant called The Bunny’s Hop. I just ❤ these cuties all bundled up together. Mama Elephant has a bunch of these bunches, and they are ALL adorable, of course. The sentiment is from another set Linda generously let me use called Tea with Friends by Mama Elephant. Super ❤ that sentiment! 🙂
These cards are both postal already! I hope you mail your cards too! Speaking from experience, it is awesome to receive handmade cards (or store-bought!) in the mail. It can really brighten someone’s day so simply.
Thanks so much for stopping by again today! And thank you Linda for sharing your cute stamps and always being such a sweet friend. 🙂
Take care– Jill 🙂
Happy Friday the 13th to you! I thought this was a fun idea to make a Paper Smooches card with a chicken inside the TV! 🙂 Haaaaa!
I stamped and masked the TV (to stamp the chicken inside) and then colored the TV and chicken with Copic Markers. I cut the flower frame from patterned paper and added some stitching to it and the card base after scoring. Stitching is also the best kind of “glue”! 😉Paper Smooches products: Wake Up, Boob Tubes + Dies, Word Bubbles, Flower Frame Dies.
Check out the Paper Smooches Blog for lots of inspiration from the AWESOME Paper Smooches Design Team! 🙂
Thank you for stopping by! Have a NICE weekend! 🙂
