Happy New Beginnings!

It’s been another busy week and another survival of the stomach flu. I’m glad it’s Friday! Hooray!

I’m popping in today sharing another super fun Paper Smooches card. πŸ˜‰ I just ❀ how this came out using Paper Smooches sets: Promenade and dies,Β Bitty Bunglalows and dies and the sentiment is from New Beginnings 2. I colored all the elements with Copic Markers and die cut them all out.

For this card, I just masked off a section of the panel and blended on some Distress Oxide inks. I’m not a big purple person, but my goal was to use it a few times this year, and I think I’ve now met that goal and can quit. Haaaaa! But seriously, I thought this turned out fun!

Such a perfect card to send a friend for her new adventure! ❀

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

You’re Good Luck!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I made this card for my son to celebrate today, and I thought I’d pop in quick to share it! πŸ™‚ Such fun!

I colored these little Lawn Fawn cuties back during the Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge, and I’m so glad I did! Because they were just ready to go! πŸ™‚

I’m pretty sure he’s going to ❀ it! πŸ™‚ I’m not sure why I have all these white gel pen blips everywhere, but I must have done that one night in a daze, because it makes me go hmmmmm now! Haaaa!

For this card I used Lawn Fawn’s: You’re Clawsome, and coordinating dies HERE. I used on of my favorite Lawn Fawn Alphabet sets, Milo’s ABCs. This LF Claire’s ABC’s is another good one. πŸ™‚ I also usedΒ Lawn Fawn Jet Black (Copic friendly) Ink, and a White Gel Pen. The patterned paper is Lawn Fawn’sΒ Perfectly Plaid Rainbow. ❀

Hope your weekend is a lucky one!

Take care! Jill πŸ™‚

Toadally Dude

Happy day to you! Today I’m sharing a Toadally fun Paper Smooches card. πŸ˜‰ I kept this card VERY simple, which is both easy and difficult. I’m sure you can relate if you make cards too.

How fun are these dudes?! I stamped and masked and stamped and masked. I colored them all with Copic Markers in very slightly different ways and added some Glossy Accents to their spots to polish them off before stitching them on.

I thought it would be fun to add a punny sentiment, of course. For this card, the little toads are from A Little Lovin, the *Toadally*is from the great punny set Critter Card Puns and the *dude* is from Slang Gang…. Slang Gang was one of my first Paper Smooches sets and it still gets a lot of <3.

Be sure to follow the Paper Smooches Blog for lots of inspiration on how to you mix and match your Paper Smooches stash! I’ve really been enjoying using all the things! πŸ™‚

Thank you for stopping by! Have a great weekend! Happy St. Pat’s!

So Lucky to Call You Friend

I might be the only person excited about Springing the clocks ahead! My son gets up crazy early everyday, and this means that it isn’t quite as early (for the next six months or so), fingers crossed! πŸ™‚

Anyway, I’m popping in to share another card today. I whipped this one up last night using Ellen Hutson’s super cute new set: So Matcha by Julie Ebersole. Julie does it again! ❀

This set is just darling–that’s the best word for it! I colored everything with Copic markers and fussy cut out the images. I stamped the background with a Hero Arts Ombre Pool to Navy pad to create the light to dark on the bamboo. πŸ™‚

As always, I finished this cutie lil’ number off with some simple stitching and Voila!

Looking forward to mailing this very soon! I have a large stack to sit down and address!

Thank you to Ellen Hutson for gifting us these cute sets at our recent crafty get-together! So sweet of you to share your goodness! πŸ™‚

Thanks so much for stopping by again today! Enjoy your Sunday! πŸ™‚

Take care– Jill πŸ™‚

More Thanks

The weekend is here! Yay! This past week was jam-packed and I’m ready for a day off!

Today, I’m sharing a bunch of Thank You cards I have made. The rainbow ones I made back in January and never shared. The blue ones I made recently for our PTO at school to give. I tried to use the school colors and keep them manly, because they are all for men!Β  πŸ˜‰

For all these first Thank You cards, I used Concord & 9th’s Many Thanks die and for some I used their Many Thanks Turnabout Stamp. Love that stamp! It makes you want all the turnabouts, right? I quite enjoy the way the peeps at Concord & 9th think–quite inventive!

I scored all these card panels & stitched on the speech bubbles, but neither shows up fantastically in these photos. Hooray for Rainbows 🌈! πŸ™‚

I usedΒ Copic Markers to color these for bulk purposes. Generally speaking, I like to use colored cardstock to cut the letters instead. I’m a purest, I guess. πŸ˜‚! However, sometimes you just need to get some cards made! So I took the quick route on these above.

This next set below, are the “manly” ones for school.

These used both white and a dark blue colored cardstock. As you can see, it worked out one-for-one! So I had nothing leftover. Whoohooo!

Sometimes I used the outline of the speech bubble, sometimes not. Also a fun thing to be about to add or take away. πŸ™‚

This ombre paper above is by Lil’ Inker and I am LOVING it big time! It was gifted to us at our recent retreat. Now I fear I will not use it because I ❀ it so! Ha! It is THIS Ombre Stripes Lil’ Inker pad. Thank you so much, Lil’ Inker! ❀

This patterned paper below was just found in my stash. πŸ™‚ It worked out pretty well too. But it’s no ombre stripe! πŸ˜‰

This two below I used the turnabout stamp to create the background. I used the same gray colored ink pads on both, but to me they look slightly different. Weird. :).

Of course, all my cards were polished off with a little stitching in end.

I’m so glad these all came together. I will definitely be using all these Concord & 9th products regularly around here. I am a sucker for simple fonts and speech bubbles though, so that’s a given! Ha! If I could just work and design faster, they’d be quick work! But I’m not a bulk producer, so I’m ok with the slower pace. πŸ™‚

You can see a “Fall” themed Thank you card I made with these products HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Enjoy your weekend! πŸ™‚

Take care– Jill πŸ™‚

School Love

Happy Fri-YAY right? I’m not sure how I feel about that term, but I was writing Friday and Hooray, so went for it! πŸ˜‰

For these cutie Paper Smooches cards today, I used the following Paper Smooches: Smarty Pants and Dies, Notebook Basic Die, andΒ  Cuteasauras.

I colored all these with Copic Markers and added them to the Notebook die.

Eeeep so cute! I love when something simple turns out so awesomely sweet! πŸ™‚

This last one lost it’s crayon. I’m not sure if I didn’t color enough or if someone small who lives here nabbed it before I put it on a card! Haaa! πŸ™‚

I just love that little inch worm! And the pencil, of course! Easily some of my favorite Paper Smooches stamps–but I bet I say often, don’t I? Just ❀ PS! πŸ™‚
I cannot wait to give these to my son and his teacher. πŸ™‚
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Clucking!

I’m interrupting your Super Bowl experience this evening to bring some crafty fun πŸ™‚ !

It’s February! And that means there are new stamps aboard from Technique Tuesday! I love a good play on words, and naturally, this month does NOT disappoint! πŸ™‚

For these cards, I used Technique Tuesday’s newly released, Chicken Family Stamp set (and Chicken Family dies)Β  the previously released, Funny Farm stamp set and coordinating dies.

Oh my word! This is the perfect card to send from our house! LOL! πŸ™‚

I colored this scene with Copic Markers. I mean, chickens are blue, right? πŸ˜‰

This next card uses the SUPER FUN new set, Cheeky Chicken. These sentiments are so stinkin’ funny to me! πŸ™‚ They also have coordinating dies HERE. Just crack me UP!

I actually gave this to my hubby for his birthday. Because he really wants chickens. Bwaahahha!

For this card above, I used my Zig Clean Color Markers for a little loosey “goosey” watercolor action.

Be sure to check out the rest of the Technique Tuesday release HERE!

Hope your week starts out with a win!! πŸ™‚

Hi There!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! It is snowing here, and this is the perfect card for today!

I colored these cuties for #thedailymarker30day today, and actually put them on a card right away. Hooray! I actually colored them in the wee hours of the morning because I couldn’t sleep. I believe that was due to possibly dozing off (albeit VERY briefly) earlier in the day?Β  LOL! I blame my son. πŸ™‚ He wears me out! ❀

These cuties are from Lawn Fawn’s Snow Cool and Chit Chat. I have the dies for the Snow Cool set, but the Chit Chat, I just fussy cut. I think Chit Chat was one of my first LF sets? πŸ™‚ Oh and the heart is from Lawn Fawn’s Hearts die.

I used Lawn Fawn Jet Black (Copic friendly) Ink,Β  Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, Copic Markers, and Worn Lipstick Oxide ink.

This is also perfect for joining the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: Inspiration Board. It’s so wintery and love filled, I thought this would be spot on. πŸ™‚

Have a great Sunday! Thanks for popping by!

Take care! Jill πŸ™‚

Forever Favorite

Hi All! I wanted to share a card I finished late last night using my Daily Marker 30 Day project. I always love Kathy’s challenge and I’m really trying to use all the things I color this time–sooner than later!

I love this little My Favorite Nut set from Neat & Tangled (and dies). I also used N & T’s stencil, Polygon.Β  I also need to point out that this is the third card I’ve made this month using purple! Likely more purple than I used in all of 2017. Haaaaaa! Putting out that olive branch, I tell ya! πŸ™‚ I used Distress Oxide Inks for the mix: Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, and Wilted Violet.

Oh and the “forever” is from THIS Neat & Tangled set.

I colored these cuties with Copic Markers. I added some N&T sequin confetti to this card too. You can find similar ones HERE. πŸ™‚

Cactus Love!

I’m popping in to share a few cards I made with Technique Tuesday’s newly released, A Little Prickly Stamp set and dies. Eeeep! Cacti are so fun to make cards with, especially when then gain eyes! Haaaa! πŸ™‚

I colored these fun cacti with Copic Markers and added some googley eyes, of course. πŸ™‚

This one below is going to a crafty friend!Β  How cute is that little cactus!? ❀ “She” might be my fave of the bunch..shhhhh. πŸ™‚

I also used the Memo Pad die to put this cutie on some patterned paper. Once I started putting googley eyes on them, I couldn’t stop.

For the card below, I used Technique Tuesday’s Clipboard die and brushed on some Oxide Ink,. I also added some silver sparkly stars that I die cut from the Shooting Star Crafting die.

These were definitely fun to make. I need to color up some more Cacti! They make cute cards quick, especially if you color them in advance! Love that!

Be sure to check out the rest of the Technique Tuesday release HERE! Especially the Love Stinks. πŸ˜‰ It’s super fun and has an awesome price point!

Hope your week starts out fabulously!! πŸ™‚
