Let’s Giggle!

If you are looking for my Paper Smooches January Pep Rally post, please find that one HERE πŸ™‚

Happy Friday! I hope you are all recovered from great fun with family and friends! Now, round two ahead with New Year’s Celebrations! πŸ™‚

Today, I’m sharing the sweetest little Paper Smooches card using December’s release of Ribbon Dies and the Wine Sampler stamp set. I cannot stop giggling at this card, and I’m the one who made it! Is that wrong? πŸ™‚ !

The Wine Sampler has an array (and bountiful!) set of sentiments! “Let’s Giggle”– ❀ that sentiment!

Oh my goodness! I swear, I put glasses on anything and I’m a puddle of goo! πŸ™‚ Just the cutest!Β  These glasses are from the Pineapple 2 Die. The cute little trees themselves are Paper Smooches Evergreen Dies. And the little star is from the Super Star Dies. Super Star! (I can never resist saying that Mary Catherine Gallagher style. πŸ˜‰ )

I die cut the trees from solid cardstock and patterned paper and pieced them together. I added some Distress Ink to create a little blotted background before adding the trees, their googley eyes, and their accoutrements. πŸ™‚ Gah! ❀ how this makes me πŸ™‚ !

Be sure to check out my Paper Smooches Pep Rally post HERE and follow our January Release Hop! Prizes to be had and lots of sneaks on the new goodies!

Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

Let’s Chill!

Are you Christmas ready?! The jury is still out here! πŸ™‚

Today, I’m here to share a fun wintery little Paper Smooches card using the new Let’s Chill die and the new Ribbon Dies. I also used one of my favorite winter goodies, the previously released sweet little PS Mitten Die. πŸ™‚

I die cut the mitten from white and silver sparkle paper to inlay the stitches. I added some Distress Ink to the background and a fun pink Ribbon to the cuff. Eeeep it turned out so wintery and sweet! πŸ™‚

Have an awesomely cozy holiday weekend, friends! πŸ™‚

Let’s Celebrate! It’s Friday!

Happy Friday Night! I am a little late on the uptake today. It has been A WEEK. Phew. So glad to see it end!

Today I’m sharing a card that uses the new Paper Smooches Wine Dies! I thought it would be fun to use them as a stencil, so I die cutΒ  and used the negative to blend some ink on. These dies are great for so many occasions!

Let’s Celebrate! It’s Friday!

I believe that bubbles come out of wine bottles, so I added those. Haaa! πŸ˜‰

I also used the new Wine Sampler for this fun sentiment and the little “Cheers” on the bottles.

I blended Distress Ink on in Picked Raspberry, Shaded Lilac, Squeezed Lemonade, and Mustard Seed.

Hope your weekend is grand! I’ll hope for my 2017 nap to finally come through! It’s a long shot, but fingers crossed! πŸ™‚

Technique Tuesday FUN!

Welcome to a new week! Monday should definitely be optional–who’s with me?!

This new sentiment is from the latest Technique Tuesday Sassy set called Sassy Days! These are definitely some of my favorite sets! I laugh every time I get them and itch to use every single one. Teri is so good! πŸ™‚

I paired it with the previously released Greenhouse Society set Sweet Succulents. Love the little hen and chick stamps!

Next up, is this AWESOME new die, By the Numbers! This truly makes the quickest work of a birthday card! For this card, I just used a bunch of scrap blocks and glued it to a piece of copy paper. Then IΒ  die cut it and voila! Super easy, super quick, and super impact! I need to do a bunch of these so I’m actually ready for birthdays vs. scrambling! πŸ˜‰

(The sentiment is from the Smirthday Set. ❀ !)

Then, there are the turtles!!! Love me a cute little turtle! πŸ™‚ This new TT set is called: Turtle Trio! It’s the latest release in the Animal House line.Β  There are coordinating dies HERE. I used the Turtles and the By the Numbers for a cute belated birthday card. That little turtle is my FAVE! πŸ™‚

I colored the turtles with Copic Markers and heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock.

Eeeeeep! So cute!

I have a “few” turtles on my desk still, but I used another to create this card in the conjunction with the new Current Events stamp set and the new On the Calendar dies. Love how the upside down turtle was perfecto for this sentiment.

I just added some embossed lines to the panel with my scoring board. Quick and easy! Love doing that often. πŸ™‚

And of course, I just had to do a quick tag to use another Sassy Days stamp. I figured I could add this to a card soon and pop it in the mail to a friend. πŸ™‚ Well, there you have it! Lots of new fun things fromΒ Technique Tuesday today! They can be found HERE!

I wasn’t sure if I’d get around to another blog post this month, so I figured I’d share them all at once! πŸ™‚ December is flying CRAZY fast, isn’t it?

Thanks for stopping by and happy holiday crafting!!

Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

Dude, …Chill

Happy Freezing Friday all! I have a couple of Paper Smooches snowman cards to share today! I ❀️ snowmen, and snow ladies! πŸ™‚

This first card uses Paper Smooches new Snowman Card Dies–I cannot get over the cute!

I haven’t purchased a new patterned paper pad in about two years now–Gasp! I know, I too am impressed I made it that long! But I knew I needed some plaid, so down I fell and scooped up one 6 x 6 pad last month. LOL! Totally worth it, right? πŸ™‚

The fun glasses are PS Glasses Dies and the sentiment is from the Freezy Fella set. I just added some twig arms I cut using black scraps. Annnnnnd of course, some giant googley eyes! I tried not to, but it happened anyway! πŸ™‚

Next up, I used the new Wine Sampler for this fun sentiment and the snow man is from the previously released Swanky Snowdudes set. Snowman ❀ ! πŸ™‚

I scored the card panel before adding the For You tags. I colored the snowman with Copics.

Eeeeep! Love these snowcards! Perfect timing as we received our first dusting. πŸ™‚

Ok, I’m off to tackle the CRAZY LONG To Do list! Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy your weekend! πŸ™‚

feel better soon

I needed a little love to send in the mail today. I was inspired by all the lovely RED and white in the current Ellen Hutson’s Pin-Sights Challenge, so I ran with that. I love white with some deep, dark red! πŸ™‚

hawkins_jill_feelbetter I white heat embossed the sentiments on the background repeatedly. It’s such a subtle and delightful detail to add.hawkins_jill_feelbetter_00I then die cut some hearts from Ellen Hutson’s All Inside dies and stamped a sentiment from Warm Fuzzies! The background was stamped & heat embossed with the stamps from All Inside. πŸ™‚

I’m entering this in the current Essentials by Ellen December Pin-Sights Challenge.
