Taylored Expressions Release Week! Day 1

Hello! Welcome to my first release post for Taylored Expressions! Oh Happy Day!! I am so excited to share the projects I have worked on this week. Hopefully you find some inspiration of your own for the amazing TE Creative Team too! 🙂

For these first cards, I used the new Framed Script Hello. I also had fun using the new colors of cardstock: Fruit Punch, Gumball and Mushroom! I actually love them all together. It creates a fun combo.

I just cut up a bunch of cardstock strips and glued them to some paper. Then I die cut through them, saving all the pieces to enable making TWO cards! Whoohoooo! 🙂

After inlaying/gluing all the pieces in some scored cardstock, I added some stitching to finish them off.

I just love how these turned out!

The next card I made with the new Hearts in Bloom Background. I wasn’t sure how this was going to turn out, but in the end, I enjoy the more refined stamp with the funny little sentiment from Sarcasti-chick’s Winter Closet. Cracks me up! 🙂

I stamped these with Oreo ink and colored them in with Copic Markers. To finish it off, I added some stitching.

I also used the Petite Scalloped Square Stacklets. They are square, obviously, but I just partially die cut the panel and then cut the other end. It’s a great way to stretch your dies!

You can find all my supplies and links to the Taylored Expressions Shop below.

Technique Tuesday Release Day! December!

Today is the day for all the new Technique Tuesday November products to be available HERE!

For this card, I used the new Technique Tuesday set, Beau and Beatrice Beaver Stamp Set and coordinating dies, Beau and Beatrice Beaver Crafting DiesI thought that little snail needed some love, and when I saw that sentiment, I figured this was the perfect plan. 🙂

I colored all the elements with Copic Markers and then added them to some patterned paper. I scored the panel and stamped the sentiment. I thought this card fold was kind of fun! My friend sent me a card last week that was folded this way, and I thought I’d try it. 🙂

I polished it all off with some stitching, sequins and twine. ❤

Let’s Giggle!

If you are looking for my Paper Smooches January Pep Rally post, please find that one HERE 🙂

Happy Friday! I hope you are all recovered from great fun with family and friends! Now, round two ahead with New Year’s Celebrations! 🙂

Today, I’m sharing the sweetest little Paper Smooches card using December’s release of Ribbon Dies and the Wine Sampler stamp set. I cannot stop giggling at this card, and I’m the one who made it! Is that wrong? 🙂 !

The Wine Sampler has an array (and bountiful!) set of sentiments! “Let’s Giggle”– ❤ that sentiment!

Oh my goodness! I swear, I put glasses on anything and I’m a puddle of goo! 🙂 Just the cutest!  These glasses are from the Pineapple 2 Die. The cute little trees themselves are Paper Smooches Evergreen Dies. And the little star is from the Super Star Dies. Super Star! (I can never resist saying that Mary Catherine Gallagher style. 😉 )

I die cut the trees from solid cardstock and patterned paper and pieced them together. I added some Distress Ink to create a little blotted background before adding the trees, their googley eyes, and their accoutrements. 🙂 Gah! ❤ how this makes me 🙂 !

Be sure to check out my Paper Smooches Pep Rally post HERE and follow our January Release Hop! Prizes to be had and lots of sneaks on the new goodies!

Take care- Jill 🙂

Let’s Chill!

Are you Christmas ready?! The jury is still out here! 🙂

Today, I’m here to share a fun wintery little Paper Smooches card using the new Let’s Chill die and the new Ribbon Dies. I also used one of my favorite winter goodies, the previously released sweet little PS Mitten Die. 🙂

I die cut the mitten from white and silver sparkle paper to inlay the stitches. I added some Distress Ink to the background and a fun pink Ribbon to the cuff. Eeeep it turned out so wintery and sweet! 🙂

Have an awesomely cozy holiday weekend, friends! 🙂

Take care- Jill 🙂
