Cornucopia of projects! :)

Happy Wednesday!
I’m usually pretty good about posting all my projects on my blog, but this last month + has been a little crazier than normal. I always try to figure out if it’s just the new normal, or if it is just busier that usual. I’m hoping for the later this time! πŸ™‚
Anywho–here is a few cards/projects I have made recently that haven’t made it here yet. πŸ™‚
First up, this fun card using Paper Smooches Huge Hugs and dies AND Huge Hugs 2! This was for my son’s last day of school this year. πŸ™‚
I actually used my Scor-Tape as a stencil. It was sitting on my desk, so it worked out well! I just brushed some Distress Ink in there and then gave it a little water spritz for some texture. Fun!
The whale and fish are covered in Glossy Accents! Love that little addition. I think I may go through a whole bottle this month. LOL. πŸ™‚
Here are projects I created for teachers and staff at school this Spring:
Love how fun these are! I used Paper Smooches FruitasticΒ and the Thanks So Much Die. For the tags below, I used the Paper Smooches Pencil Dies and the Lovely Thoughts stamp set for the sentiment.
Here is a quick pick of some tags I stamped up for some crafty friends. Love this little bunny from Paper Smooches Pineapple Crush! (I didn’t think to take a more finessed photo, but I thought they are too cute not to share!)
These next cards use a combination of Paper Smooches Pineapple Crush stamps and Ellen Hutson’s Wonky Backdrops. Such fun!! πŸ™‚ (I also used the retired a Paper Smooches set for the sentiment, but this one is an excellent sub in, Many Thanks.)
This next card uses Winnie and Walter’sΒ  Framed and Our Town. Love how this turned out. I made it at a crafty retreat and I used someone’s stencil for the background too. But I didn’t write down the name of it. πŸ™‚
Next up, is this card I made using WPlus9 Feathers and Florals and Avery Elle’s Many Thanks. This floral set was sent to me from some crafty friends, and I’m so glad to have inked it up!! πŸ™‚ I’ve been using a lot of flowers lately!? Must be the season πŸ˜‰ .
And last but not least, here are some teacher cards I made last fall. These great teacher stamps are all from Lil’ Inker Designs. LOVE these so very much! πŸ™‚ Again, I borrowed these great products from some crafty friends. I only wished they all lived closer to create together more often. ❀
Alrighty! I hope you have enjoyed this mixed bag of projects I had yet to blog! I like to keep my blog up to date. It’s a great way to track my projects if I ever want to look back . πŸ™‚
Thank you for stopping by again today! πŸ™‚
Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

Today’s card is made with the May released Grad Cap Card Die fromΒ  Paper Smooches. I also used the New Beginnings 2 stamp set. It’s packed with great sentiments!

I ❀ that sentiment, “Bask in Your Awesomeness”!! Perfect! πŸ™‚ This die set makes this fun tassel, which I think can be used in a variety of ways, outside of tassel making!

These fun sunglasses are from the Pineapple 2 die set. Love. Them.

I thought this was a fun nod to how graduates put tape on their caps to say “Hi Mom” etc. Do they still do this? Ha! I don’t think I ever did because I feel like we received our attire late in the game? Hmmmm… You’d think I’d remember my graduations. Nope. Ha! I think I was exhausted πŸ™‚

Check out the Paper Smooches blog for more fun, and stay in the loop on the upcoming release and current challenge! I love the PS Challenges! Always have. πŸ™‚

Have a great weekend!

Here’s my card!

I see this, and I SMILE! Oh my word, this cactus!! And this sentiment! ❀

This die is the forthcoming Cactus Die and the sentiment is from the soon to be released, Kindness Sampler. That’s right, the “Kindness Sampler”. Gah! ❀

I adore Kim’s little smiling creations! Each time I receive them, I squeal! Just so fun!
Also, on this card, I used the previously released Super Star Dies and the Cross Stitch Die. (I posted another card I made with the cross stitch die HERE.) I blended on a few distress inks, and then embossed this card with the Cross Stitch die. I added the star strip, Cactus, and stamped the sentiment. I finished it off with stitching the panel onto the card base, adding a few sequins, and getting it ready to mail! πŸ™‚

Next stop: The multi- talented Karin Akesdotter! πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by today! I can’t wait to share more of the fun Paper Smooches products this coming month! Have a great weekend!

love

Happy Tuesday! I’m popping in to share this card I made a little while back. I used the Paper Smooches Cross Stitch Die. ❀ Very cool and VERSATILE die!!

I stitched this sentiment on a plane ride last month, and forgot to share my finished card! πŸ™‚ I had some friends helping me pop out the holes in the cardstock. It is VERY easy to do, if you just drag your needle (or the like) across a row of dots. It also makes a fun noise–LOL! πŸ™‚

After I stitched this LOVE, I die-cut a window in another black panel. I lined that window with sequins from my stash, and reverse scored the panel to add a little ooomph. I use this technique a lot, because it is quick and doesn’t add anything too distracting. I adhered the stitched panel behind, and popped the whole thing up with some fun foam.

I winged the stitching on this card, but it would go even faster if you had a plan/pattern before you start. Just sayin’ πŸ™‚

The cross stitch die also is fantastic for subtle backgrounds. You can see how I used it for such on THIS card here.

I’ll be back Thursday with the Paper Smooches June DT hop! This upcoming release is sure to make you smile! πŸ™‚

Take care- Jill πŸ™‚

Awesome

Happy early weekend!Β  Hope you have a great weekend planned or even a lack of plans. That’s always good too, right? πŸ™‚

I thought I’d pop in and share a card I made with the Paper Smooches Triangles Die. I could inlay this die for hours, with all sort of different colors and designs. Now that I have all these colors cut out of different cardstocks, I may just whip up a few more!

This Awesome word die is definitely a favorite PS die that gets used an awful lot around here. πŸ˜‰

I mailed this one out to an awesome crafty friend. πŸ™‚ I need more of these cards STAT!

I am whipping up lots of stuff for June, but hope to be back soon with a few other May posts. Tick-tock, it’s already the 19th! Wow.

Have a great weekend!

Yay!

Hey hey! Happy Friday! Happy Early Mother’s Day to everyone celebrating this weekend!

Today’s card is made with this fun new set from the Paper SmoochesΒ MAY release. For this card, I used the New Beginnings stamp set (that elephant ❀ !) and the New Beginnings Icons Dies!

I mean, goodness, he’s cute! πŸ™‚

For this card, I just masked off these rays/stripes and blended on some Distress Inks. I can’t recall for sure, but I’m guessing I used Carved Pumpkin and Spiced Marmalade? I colored this cutie elephant with Copic markers, and heat embossed this sentiment from the same stamp set. I adhered all the mortarboards and drew on tassels. I added some white spatters afterward to give it a celebratory feel–pow! I thought this one was fun to highlight your graduate!

Plus, I went to the University of Illinois for my undergrad degree, so I had to use the Orange and Blue. Go Illini! πŸ˜‰

Next up, I thought I’d share this sweet little card using the same stamp set.

I kept this one very simple with just some stamping, vellum, and stitching. I love these simple cards! πŸ™‚

Be sure you’re following the Paper Smooches blog, and please stop by here again! I’ll be back with more cards to share this month, and I”m hoping I get those posts written soon! πŸ™‚

Have a great weekend!

Take a Deep Breath

Happy Friday! I’m here to share a card using the NEWΒ Paper SmoochesΒ MAY 2017 release. For this card, I used the new Rose Frame Die and the new stamp set, New Beginnings 2!

This die: ❀ .

I die cut the whole Rose Frame die from several different colors of cardstock, and then pieced it all back together.

I just love how this makes such a clean card. This frame is awesome. When you receive this die, you just need to cut out the flower and boom, you have a frame die. Bonus! Get ready, because you are going to see this frame around these parts A LOT! πŸ™‚

I made another card with some of the scraps I had from the first:

Gah! These are so fun to make. I love die-cut inlay! It’s like putting a little crafty puzzle together. πŸ™‚ Afterward, I coated this in clear colorful Stickles. In person, it is a sparkly delight! πŸ™‚

I also used the new diecut, Mr. and Mrs. for this card. Kim makes the BEST handwritten dies! I love them ALL! This die can whip up a quick wedding/shower/anniversary card in no time! Not that I have ever made such cards with one foot out the door… πŸ˜‰

Be sure you following the Paper Smooches blog everyday, as the rest of the team has made amazing things you don’t want to miss! πŸ™‚

Have a great weekend!
