I ❤ that sentiment, “Bask in Your Awesomeness”!! Perfect! 🙂 This die set makes this fun tassel, which I think can be used in a variety of ways, outside of tassel making!
These fun sunglasses are from the Pineapple 2 die set. Love. Them.
I thought this was a fun nod to how graduates put tape on their caps to say “Hi Mom” etc. Do they still do this? Ha! I don’t think I ever did because I feel like we received our attire late in the game? Hmmmm… You’d think I’d remember my graduations. Nope. Ha! I think I was exhausted 🙂

Here’s my card!
This die is the forthcoming Cactus Die and the sentiment is from the soon to be released, Kindness Sampler. That’s right, the “Kindness Sampler”. Gah! ❤
Happy Tuesday! I’m popping in to share this card I made a little while back. I used the Paper Smooches Cross Stitch Die. ❤ Very cool and VERSATILE die!!
I stitched this sentiment on a plane ride last month, and forgot to share my finished card! 🙂 I had some friends helping me pop out the holes in the cardstock. It is VERY easy to do, if you just drag your needle (or the like) across a row of dots. It also makes a fun noise–LOL! 🙂
After I stitched this LOVE, I die-cut a window in another black panel. I lined that window with sequins from my stash, and reverse scored the panel to add a little ooomph. I use this technique a lot, because it is quick and doesn’t add anything too distracting. I adhered the stitched panel behind, and popped the whole thing up with some fun foam.
I winged the stitching on this card, but it would go even faster if you had a plan/pattern before you start. Just sayin’ 🙂
The cross stitch die also is fantastic for subtle backgrounds. You can see how I used it for such on THIS card here.
I’ll be back Thursday with the Paper Smooches June DT hop! This upcoming release is sure to make you smile! 🙂
Happy early weekend! Hope you have a great weekend planned or even a lack of plans. That’s always good too, right? 🙂
I thought I’d pop in and share a card I made with the Paper Smooches Triangles Die. I could inlay this die for hours, with all sort of different colors and designs. Now that I have all these colors cut out of different cardstocks, I may just whip up a few more!
This Awesome word die is definitely a favorite PS die that gets used an awful lot around here. 😉
I mailed this one out to an awesome crafty friend. 🙂 I need more of these cards STAT!
I am whipping up lots of stuff for June, but hope to be back soon with a few other May posts. Tick-tock, it’s already the 19th! Wow.
Hey hey! Happy Friday! Happy Early Mother’s Day to everyone celebrating this weekend!
I mean, goodness, he’s cute! 🙂
For this card, I just masked off these rays/stripes and blended on some Distress Inks. I can’t recall for sure, but I’m guessing I used Carved Pumpkin and Spiced Marmalade? I colored this cutie elephant with Copic markers, and heat embossed this sentiment from the same stamp set. I adhered all the mortarboards and drew on tassels. I added some white spatters afterward to give it a celebratory feel–pow! I thought this one was fun to highlight your graduate!
Plus, I went to the University of Illinois for my undergrad degree, so I had to use the Orange and Blue. Go Illini! 😉
Next up, I thought I’d share this sweet little card using the same stamp set.
I kept this one very simple with just some stamping, vellum, and stitching. I love these simple cards! 🙂
This die: ❤ .
I die cut the whole Rose Frame die from several different colors of cardstock, and then pieced it all back together.
I just love how this makes such a clean card. This frame is awesome. When you receive this die, you just need to cut out the flower and boom, you have a frame die. Bonus! Get ready, because you are going to see this frame around these parts A LOT! 🙂
I made another card with some of the scraps I had from the first:
Gah! These are so fun to make. I love die-cut inlay! It’s like putting a little crafty puzzle together. 🙂 Afterward, I coated this in clear colorful Stickles. In person, it is a sparkly delight! 🙂
I also used the new diecut, Mr. and Mrs. for this card. Kim makes the BEST handwritten dies! I love them ALL! This die can whip up a quick wedding/shower/anniversary card in no time! Not that I have ever made such cards with one foot out the door… 😉
