For my card today, I used the super-fun-soon-to-be-released Snowman Card Die!!

I know this is confusing because it is the Snowman Card Die and this is clearly a penguin, but somehow that was the first thing I made! ๐Ÿ™‚ I think the carrot nose got stuck under something and the rest is history. ๐Ÿ™‚ I think it’s fun to see other things dies can do too.

Eeeeeeep! Isn’t he super cute?! I have snowman bits all over my desk, so I will be sharing an actual snowman next month as well. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Also, for this card, I used the soon to be released All Year Cheer for this simple sentiment. This forthcoming set is one of those sets you can use all year round! I also used the previously released Santa Card dies for his hat, and the Sweets Dies for his pom-pom! Yup, that cupcake worked swimmingly! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I overhung his hat and scarf, but the card is slightly narrow overall, so this should easily fit into an envelope I have on hand. More likely however, this will be on a package delivery for the Holidays!

Next stop on our Paper Smooches Pep Rally Hop:  Karin Akesdotter! ๐Ÿ™‚ Karin’s projects are to never be missed! โค

Thanks for stopping in today! Be sure to hop and leave comments for a chance to win a Paper Smooches prize!! I thank you in advance because you all have the nicest things to say! โค

All the new goodies will be releasing November 30th–that’s THIS THURSDAY! Be ready!

Take care- Jill ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy Halloween, Ghoulfriend!

Happy Halloween! Popping in with a quick little Paper Smooches number to celebrate! ๐Ÿ™‚

I used Paper Smooches September release of Halloween Sampler and the previously released Falling for You. (and coordinating dies HERE.)ย  Sooo cute!! ๐Ÿ™‚

For the background, I just masked off that area and brushed on some Peeled Paint and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink. Then I splashed some water. After that, I came back with a little Mustard Seed Distress Ink and Black Soot to blend on the edges. It turned out super fun with my Copic colored bat. When dry, I added some quick stitching and poof, done! (I should also note that I am currently using Grey thread! What the wha? I NEVER change from white, and now, I have. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Haaa!) Very eerie color in person. I think my ghoulfriend will enjoy it! ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, the latestย Paper Smooches release was last night and all the new products can be found HERE! Hooray!

Have a very happy and safe Halloween!

For my project today, I used the very-soon-to-be-released-uber-cute Paper Smooches Baby Bird Icon dies…and of course, the new stamp set Baby Birds! If you could see how many Baby Birds I have colored and die cut into a pile already… ๐Ÿ™‚ haaaaa!

Are these guys not the tweetest!? AND there are a bunch more on this awesome new Baby Bird set! I colored these with my Copic markers and just added some stitching on the card panel. Meep!

Also, for the background of this card, I used the Flower Frames dies as a stencil with some Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink. I added the sentiment and the cutie birds to the panel with foam dimensional adhesive. I just โค them! That “meep” makes me smile! ๐Ÿ™‚

Today, I’m I’m sharing my Paper Smooches card using the new Mini Cross die and the the Boxed Greetings, along with their coordinating dies HERE.

I created this background using the two Distress Oxides Blues–Broken China and Faded Blue Jeans. I added some flicks of water and white, a few embossed stars to polish that off. I partially diecut both the Mini Cross and the Boxed Greetings. I added some quick stitching and done! ๐Ÿ™‚

Merry Christmas…and scene! :)

Happy ALMOST weekend!

Today, I’m popping in with a sweet little Christmas number using the New Paper Smooches Merry Christmas dieย and the previously released, Promenade (and coordinating dies). The little snowflake balls are from the new going-to-be-used-a-lot-set, Boxed Greetings. Good gravy, do I enjoy Kim’s handwriting, and this die is dynamite for the holiday season!

One of my favorite combos of all time is kraft, red, and white. Well, to be 100% truthful, kraft is one of my favorite colors of all time on its own! ๐Ÿ™‚

I white heat embossed this scene on the kraft panel, and then added a smidge of Versamark pen to darken some areas. I also added a few bits with Prismacolor colored pencils for the berries and glowing light. I die cut the Merry Christmas die from a couple of layers of red cardstock and one or two white for some POP! ๐Ÿ™‚

I love all the little parts in the Promenade set and the fact that you can die cut them out, is the icing on the cake. Those wreaths alone are a card waiting to happen. ๐Ÿ™‚

AND, we have something special to share…we partnered up with XYRON this week.

Our designers received Xyron adhesives to use on their October projects and Xyron’s design team were given Paper Smooches stamps to create with.  They are sharing their Paper Smooches cards on the their blogs this week. You can find them all HERE

For my project today, I used the super fun and festive new Paper Smooches Santa Card dies! Eeeeeeeeep! How cute is he?! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Bonus that we received Xyron adhesives to use on our projects this month! The Xyron sticker maker makes this Santa a breeze to piece together. I am always amazed when I peel up that plastic topper and BOOM: Sticker! Love. It. You can check out the Xyron Sticker Maker HERE. It’s a staple for a crafty stash. ๐Ÿ˜‰

For Santa’s face, I decided it would be fun to use the Flower Frames dies. These Santa Card dies cut a larger beard to fill a card front, but I trimmed mine down to work on the Flower Frame. I added a little Liquid Applique to his hat brim and a huge pom-pom! ๐Ÿ™‚ Oh what fun it is!

His cheeks are rosy!! ๐Ÿ™‚ For the background, I used Paper Smooches Graffiti alpha set to create the repeated HO HO HO! Don’t you just love his bushy eyebrows?! โค

I also used the Xyron Mega Tape Runner to adhere the larger elements and the panel to the card base. I am a fan of this tape runner because I don’t have to refill it nearly as often as I do some of my smaller runners. Big fan of that! Thank you for sharing your awesome stickiness with us this month Xyron! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Next stop on our Paper Smooches Pep Rally Hop:  Karin Akesdotter! ๐Ÿ™‚ Karin wow’s me constantly! Geesh! โค

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to hop and leave comments for a chance to win some Paper Smooches goodness! Merry Christmas! Errr, I mean, Happy Fall! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Take care- Jill ๐Ÿ™‚
