Celebrating Moms

Hola! Today I am popping in super quick to share some cards I made for Mother’s Day usingย  Taylored Expressions.

I was excited these came together so well. You just never know when you start, do you? ๐Ÿ™‚

This first one uses Taylored Expressions recently released Scribbled Rose, Beautiful Blossoms and Penned Pretty.

Next up, this one again uses the Scribbled Rose paired with a sentiment from last year’s Brimming with Love sentiments.

I have really been into a blue and yellow combo lately. ๐Ÿ™‚

Lastly, one similar to the first one, but using the Just Vine Background to mix it up. Also with the Beautiful Blossoms and Penned Pretty.

I white heat embossed on the TE Blue Corn cardstock. Although this pic definitely makes it look more Blueberry. ha! ๐Ÿ™‚

These both include little drops from TE:ย  TE Drip Drops and TE White Rhinestones. Frame dies are Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets and Frame in Frame 2 dies.

You can find all my supplies in the Taylored Expressions Shop.

Also, if you would like some more Mother’s Day card inspiration, please check out my previous post HERE for a handful of projects and links to products there too.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you are finding crafting time this week too!

Take care ๐Ÿ™‚

Taylored Expressions: Mother’s Day Release!

Welcome to a fun new release celebration for  Taylored Expressions! All the new products will be available over at Taylored Expressions tomorrow.

This release is full of goodness to celebrate Mom’s and SO MANY others in our lives. It’s a lovely release with lots of florals and fun sentiments. Let’s get this party started!

This first card is a lovely burst of Spring with this sweet Doodle Flowers Background. This could be colored soooo many different ways…or watercolored, or embossed or…endless possibilities.

How sweet is this Doodle Flowers Background stamp?! Goodness: โค ! I colored it with Copic markers and added the sentiment. Fun and easy to do. The Building Blocks for Her are awesome because you can personalize it for so many different people.

Next up, I used the new Bouquet Whimsy. This is a lovely and super versatile set. There are coordinating dies that I used on a second card (down below), but not on the first. This one I kept very simple. When I finished this, I thought this would make a great card set to gift someone, making a handful of cards to include varying this design simply to create a couple different versions to include.

I love a clean and simple card and using the TE Rectangle Masking stencils and then stamping inside that made this easy to do. I enjoy how it turned out, especially after blending in a soft yellow background with the TE Blender Brushes.

This second card, I used both Bouquet Whimsy and the new Just Vine Background—This new Just Vine Background is moving into my top 10 backgrounds very quickly! ๐Ÿ™‚

I stamped these flowers a couple times adding a little darker inks along the sides. You can even highlight this further simply with some Copic Markers and colored pencils if you’d like. (I didn’t do that on this card.)

I put a layer of vellum over top to stamp and heat emboss the sentiment on after everything was all done. This is such a sweet card in the end.

Next up, I focused on the Just Vine Background mostly to create this card. I stamped it with three different colored inks. Starting with Granny Smith and Cilantro and then cleaning the stamp and stamping it all with a layer of Pineapple to smooth in the gaps. I was amazed at how it turned out. ๐Ÿ™‚

I added the little flowers and dots from the Bouquet Whimsy set, followed by a few splatters of paint and the background panel was done. I decided I had to use this very funny (and OH SO TRUE) sentiment from the Inside Scoop-For Her set on the front of the card. ๐Ÿ™‚

Once again, I used the Petite Scallop Rectangle dies (which I use extremely often, you may have noticed. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) I added some stitching and twine and all done. I think this card is a trip! I know many friends that would appreciate this one immensely– ha! ๐Ÿ™‚

Taylored Expressions: February Release!

Welcome to our last day to formally celebrate Release Week for Taylored Expressions February Release! All the new products are available over at Taylored Expressions now!

My first card today is a sweet little card that I used Lavender on!! Hark!! AND…I LOVE IT!! This new layering stencil called Spring Fling Layered Stencil is soooo lovely and reminiscent of the one that TE release for the holiday. I absolutely adore these stencil layering sets. They are like magic to use! I used Granny Smith first for the leaves and then added a little brush or two of Cilantro for added pop.ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

I don’t know if I have ever loved lavender more! Who am I? ha!!ย  This lovely little lantern (All is Bright) was released previously with all the winter goodies, but is now getting a spring lift! What is better about using the stamps you already have and adding on?! The new set is called: All is Bright Additions Stamp & Die Combo.

I was so excited about how this turned out and the new sentiments in the set are delightful! So sweet! โค

Next up, I have a card using the new Handlettered Hymns sentiment set and for the background, I used the previously released Modern Holly Layering Stencil…. which, you may recall was in the Holiday release, but as you can see, it works for lots of different things! ๐Ÿ™‚

I stamped on the vellum and cut out a frame using the Inside Bracket Stacklets. This is all in Raspberry Sorbet. So simple and yet so lovely!

Taylored Expressions: January Release!

Welcome to our last day to formally celebrate Release Week for Taylored Expressions January Release! All the new products are available over at Taylored Expressions now!

My first card today is a sweet little card for Valentine’s or so many other occasions. This little balloon, Flip the Script – Love, is adorable and oh so quick to ink up and stamp several to use!   ๐Ÿ™‚

I thought it would be fun and unexpected to have a pink sky and a blue balloon! ๐Ÿ™‚ I stenciled over the Cloud Stencil with the new Heart to Heart Stencil. I added some stitching some new TE Heart bits and put it all together! โค how it turned out. ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, I have a card that is perfect for any day and OH SO FUN to make! I used the new Designer Masking Stencil Hexagons and blended inks on one over the other and back and forth. It goes very swift with the TE Blender Brushes because the handles are colored and your brain doesn’t have to look at the brush head color  to remember which is which. LOVE THAT! ๐Ÿ™‚

I adore this sentiment from the Drop a Note sentiment set and I thought this card turned out fun with the little bit of stitching and clear spots I added.
