You Deserve…

Happy Weekend! Just popping in with a fun card to share. I stamped these little coffee cups from Ellen Hutson’s Everyday Doodles by Julie Ebersole in a few colors on some other panels. They make QUICK cards and I just love the coffee cup best in this set! 🙂 I love to offset the stamps slightly. Sometimes maybe more than I intended. shhhhh! 😉

A friend of mine had a light bulb moment, when she said, make the coffee cups GREEN! Yes!! It’s such a fun nod to the whole Starbucks scene….green, stars, and obviously coffee! 🙂

For this card, I used Ellen Hutson’s Everyday Doodles by Julie Ebersole (and the coordinating dies HERE) with the sentiment from Voices In My Head by Julie Ebersole. oh Julie–you are trouble! 🙂

I made a handful of other cards with the Every Day Doodles set, so we’ll see if I can get around to sharing those sometime this calendar year too!  🙂

Have a great weekend!! 🙂

Take care– Jill 🙂

Just Keep Swimming!

Happy Fourth of July! I thought I’d share a fun little summer holiday card today! This one goes in the mail tomorrow! ❤

For this card, I used Ellen Hutson’s Beach Lady (and the coordinating dies HERE), Pattern Play, and the sentiment from Mermaid’s Tail.

I colored the crabs blue with Copic Markers and stamped the little pattern with a bit of an ombre-like look. I think this card screams summer! So fun! 🙂

Have a great and safe holiday!! 🙂

Take care– Jill 🙂

Matcha!

Hola! Thought I’d pop in quick to share a fun little card using Ellen Hutson’s So Matcha (and the coordinating dies are HERE). My friend and I still laugh at saying Matcha, so I had to make and send her a card. ❤

I colored everything with Copic Markers and because I don’t have the dies, I just trimmed her out  using good old fashioned fussy cutting! 🙂

The background I blended on some ink to a Neat & Tangled Geometric Blooms stencil. This isn’t the same one, but it is in the same vein called Hexastar.

I was excited to send this–because real mail is THE best! ❤

Also–exciting news today as the latest addition of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine just came out! It’s the Summer Issue and it is seriously DELIGHTFUL!!!! I have three fun cards in this issue! Two all about rainbow action and third involves Vanilla Ice! Yup! Eeeep! If you don’t already know, the designers are amazing and the writing and the way this magazine is put together is just so fantastic!! It’s incredible to be included…truly! ❤

You can always get the printed issues that can be mailed to you with a subscription or you can find them at Barnes and Noble too! You can follow the SCT Blog HERE and check out this latest issue HERE as well!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope your Summer has kicked off to an amazing start! Happy Summer! 🙂

Take care– Jill 🙂

You + Me + Coffee

Today, I’m here to share a fun little card using Ellen Hutson’s Bear Ware 3 (and coordinating dies HERE) and of course, the original, All Inside with dies HERE! I mean, I’m pretty sure he’s my favorite bear of all and he needs to hold ALL. THE. THINGS. 😉

I colored everything with Copics. The background I stamped a little ombre with a stamp from Pattern Play.

I think this turned out pretty darn cute (because how could this cutie not be?) and I can’t wait to send it to a friend! ❤

Thanks for stopping by!

Take care– Jill 🙂

Ellen Hutson’s New August Release!

Today, there is a fun NEW RELEASE from Ellen Hutson! The Leading Ladies are back and busier than ever! I always enjoy all the little stamps Brandi Kincaid includes in her sets, so I ran with those! 🙂

You can check out the entire release: Essentials By Ellen August 2018 Complete Release!

I first peeled off these cute little supplies from the newly released: Essentials By Ellen Clear Stamps, Leading Ladies – Teacher Lady By Brandi Kincaid. There are coordinating dies HERE. I stamped them all in black. (This seems to be my current *thing*. Haaa!) After that, I cut some strips to stitch on and added the Alphas from the previously released: Classic Block Alpha. ❤ these alphas!

I thought this would be fun for a teacher or a student! Or even for administration! 🙂

And then, I focused on the light bulb! I colored these very loosely with Copics for a different look.

I really enjoy all the fonts on these new sets! The handwriting mixed with straight text: ❤ !

This next card, I almost just tossed out. The next morning, I decided it was not as bad as I had thought the night before. Do you do this? It’s so silly! 🙂

For this card, I used both new Leading Lady sets, getting the clipboard from the new: Essentials By Ellen Clear Stamps, Leading Ladies – Medical Lady By Brandi Kincaid. The coordinating dies I used are HERE. I also used the previously released: Abstract Paint Strokes.

When I finished this next card, it didn’t feel so cheerful. But I decided that it would actually be a pretty good man card to send. So I kept this one too. 🙂 This one uses more of the Essentials By Ellen Clear Stamps, Leading Ladies – Medical Lady By Brandi Kincaid set.

Loving that “feel better” sentiment–great size, great writing! 🙂 I also used a tag from the previously released: Concertina Tag.

I kept these cards pretty simple and enjoy how they turned out in the end. These new Leading Ladies are fun and quite a delight to have added to my collection! The actual ladies are sure to meet on a card here really soon! 😉 There’s a whole party going to happen!

Hope the rest of your weekend is great! Thanks so much for stopping by and thank you to Ellen Hutson for including me in their new release fun today!

Be sure to check out all the fun new products released today over at Ellen Hutson HERE! Have a great Sunday!

Ellen Hutson’s New July Release!

Today, there is a super fun NEW RELEASE from Ellen Hutson! This release is by Julie Ebersole and you know I am a fan of what Julie whips up! This release is no exception! 🙂

There is so much fun on the mermaid front, but this time I flocked to the Rainbow and Unicorns set!  Because: Rainbows.  🙂 #trouble

Go Forth and Be Fabulous! ❤

This little unicorn and all the rainbow fun! eeeeek!

For this card, I created a Distress Oxide Ink background with masking and blending.

Fantasmagorical?! ❤

I colored all the little images with Copic Markers and then added them to the cards in little scenes.

This sentiment had me at Sprinkles! I love everything sprinkles!  LOL! 🙂

This sentiment is a RIOT! Sure to make someone laugh, I’m sure! I did!

Too funny!

And then this last card, I kept it very simple, but it probably took the longest to make! It was late at night and I was trying to line everything up with tired eyes. Silly! 🙂

Rainbow delight! With Sparkly glitter to boot!! 🙂

I used three new Essentials by Ellen products for these cards:

Essentials By Ellen Clear Stamps, Pure Magic By Julie Ebersole

Essentials By Ellen Clear Stamps, Unicorns ‘N Rainbows By Julie Ebersole

Essentials By Ellen Designer Dies, Unicorns ‘N Rainbows By Julie Ebersole

I also used the previously released and versatile: ESSENTIALS BY ELLEN CLEAR STAMPS, PATTERN PLAY BY BRANDI KINCAID.

For several of the cards,  I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear confetti bits. Love those little sparkly bits!

Be sure to check out all the fun new products released today over at Ellen Hutson HERE! Have a great Sunday!

Thanks for stopping by!

Swinging by to Say…

Sometimes you just need to Monkey around, right?! 🙂

The current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge is a Color Challenge and I wanted to join in the fun! Check it out HERE: So I made this cute little monkey card. I have been loving the retro vibe lately, so I went with that. 🙂 You just gotta love the 70’s and 80’s! 🙂

I colored the cute monkey from the Lawn Fawn/Ellen Hutson set  Love Ya Bunches (limited time set) with Copic markers. I made strips from scrap cardstock and then used an Avery Elle frame to cut it all out. I adhered all the bit down with foam tape. To polish it off, I scored the card base and added some stitching. Fun!

The sentiment Hang in There is from this Lawn Fawn set  Slow Down and Enjoy! I stamped that a little too close to the Swinging by bit, but…. well at that point, I had to run with it! 😉

Such a fun and sweet encouragement card to send! Loving these challenge colors! 🙂

Have a great and safe Fourth of July!!

Take care– Jill 🙂
