Concord & 9th Guest: Out of This World & Magical Day! + GIVEAWAY

Happy Friday once again! This week was a very long month and so I am happy to be here to share some fun! It’s my last week of sharing Concord & 9th Dream Big Release as a Guest Designer for February and their Feature Friday series, but I have so enjoyed these weeks together. Also, if you haven’t previously, be sure to check out Emily and Meghann’s projects on the Concord & 9th Blog HERE too.

**See details at the of this post about a $25 Concord & 9th Gift Card giveaway!!!**

First up, this card is made with the Out of this World Bundle. I also added some of the Concord & 9th Rainbow Glitter Paper Pack–hellllllllo sparkle! I super adore the font used for these sentiments too–perfect! I can’t wait to give our son this card. 🙂

I used lots of the Concord & 9th Assorted Color Cardstock Pack and then a handful of the Concord & 9th Mini Ink Cubes for this background. I love the how this card turned out using the small Turnabout in the background–these mini turnabouts are my new fave for sure!

Next up, I used the Magical Day Bundle to create this dreamy little number. I just had to use the little tiny rainbows, so I created a background with those.

All these dies are included in the Magical Day Dies and all the little bits come together to add all these fun details! The banner is also created with a die in the set and comes together 1-2-3!

Eeeep! Too fun!

Lastly, like the little rainbow background, I had to use the little rainbow die in Magical Day Dies to create some glittertastic rainbows using the Concord & 9th Rainbow Glitter Paper Pack.

And the little clouds? Gah! 🙂

You can find the whole release of new Concord & 9th products HERE. And if you’re a bundle person, get it all HERE. Here are the specific links for ease. I’ve included last two weeks supplies too:

Concord & 9th Guest: Rainbows and Visions!

Happy Friday! I’m happy to be back sharing more of Concord & 9th Dream Big Release as a Guest Designer for February and their Feature Friday series! Be sure to check out Emily and Meghann’s projects on the Concord & 9th Blog HERE too. Did you see their projects last week? GO SEE!!! So fun! 🙂

My cards today feature the new Make Some Noise Bundle and the Rainbow Card Front Die.

I first used just the Make Some Noise Stamp Set to create this card–Using basically every Concord & 9th Mini Ink Cube! Ha!! But seriously, I about did. 😂 If you look at the stamps, you can see how easy this is. Because the letters are so spread out, you can ink up different letters fairly easily. I was thinking I’d just use a few, but then went all out. 🙂

This next card uses the Rainbow Card Front Die which creates multiples so easily if you choose to use different colored rays for the rainbow–because you get five!

I love the Concord & 9th Assorted Color Cardstock Pack for the awesome colors–they seem to all work together too. ❤ that! The sentiments are all from the Delicate Blossoms stamp set and work swimmingly for basically any card type, in my mind.

So fun–I just changed the direction, order, and shape of the rainbow for all the different cards. Do you have a fave? I like the Just Saying Hello card maybe best…?

Love these and can’t wait to mail them all out! 🙂

Next up, I had some silly fun–I had to get this out of my head because “this guy’s got some sweet moves”! Does anyone watch It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia? I remember Dee saying this in an episode and now its a big joke between my husband and me every time we see one of these blow–up dancing guys! Anywho–he’s made with the Make Some Noise Dies.

It’s a pretty silly card, but I just had to make it. I couldn’t get that guy out of my head when I saw these dies. Plus, it’s fun to stretch those supplies right? 🙂

The sentiment I found to be perfectly fun for this card too. It’s again from the Make Some Noise Stamp Set. I’m hoping I’m not the only one that knows what this blow up guys are! ha!

Lastly, as I was die cutting things with the Make Some Noise Dies, I saw snails!! So I created this lovey card too. ❤

I thought this would be fun to send to some friends. Snails! With funky hair! 😄

And always the googley eyes!

Hope you all enjoyed my little trip off the rails using the products this week! 😊

Concord & 9th Guest: Dream Big!

Happy Friday! Today is my first day of sharing Concord & 9th Dream Big Release as a Guest Designer for February and their Feature Friday series! Be sure to check out Emily and Meghann’s projects on the Concord & 9th Blog HERE too. How fun to be over there with these two fabulous creators! 🙂

Let’s get this party started!

All my cards today feature the new Delicate Blossoms Bundle. Oh goodness–buckle up for the fun release peeps! The flowers are from the Delicate Blossoms Dies and the sentiment is from Delicate Blossoms stamp set.

I thought this would be fun to create a rainbow of flowers! I die cut them all out and added them a embossed panel before stitching them all on. I used the “Thank You So Much” sentiment. Though I stamped many because that little set (Delicate Blossoms stamp set) packs a punch with the perfect group of sentiments. (And I love the simple font!).

Oh goodness too fun! (These cardstock colors are: Honeysuckle, Sorbet, Buttercup, Sprout, Aqua Sky and Peacock.)

I then really wanted to use the Congrats sentiment die from the Delicate Blossoms Dies, so I did so with the simple inlay technique. It works swimmingly to get the character spacing perfect!

I added these fun new Buttercup Enamel Dots from the Everyday Enamel Dots Bundle. They are perfection for these sweet little flowers.

I added some embossed lines and some stitching and voila! Done! I love how simple the design–these products make some sweet sweet cards. 🙂 (These cardstock colors are: Sorbet, Sprout, Aqua Sky and Peacock.

You’ll also have to check out the larger die in the Delicate Blossoms Dies. I have that all cut and pieced on my desk, but I can’t decide how to use it yet. 🙂 We will see what shakes out someday here soon!

You can find the whole lot of new Concord & 9th products HERE. And if you’re a bundle person, get it all HERE. Here are the specific links for ease:

I hope you have been inspired to have some fun with these new products! Please be sure to check out the post on Concord & 9th’s Blog today to see both Emily and Meghann’s projects too!

Mail Those Cards :)

Happy Sunday!! I hope you are all finding ways to deal with our temporary changes in the world. I personally have never been so on top of laundry in my life! 🙂 So that’s a perk. (Sure it helps there is so much less laundry, but let’s skip that part, shall we?) 😉

Today’s first new card is using cutie little Paper Smooches ♥️!! This card uses all the following Paper Smooches goodies: SunnyvilleSunnyville Icon DiesInhale Exhale and Fab Frames.

It also features the Rainbow Sherbet paper. Goodness–wouldn’t this be so sweet to find in your mailbow? Love this little smile!

Here’s a quick little video link to me coloring this little cutie sun and cloud from Paper Smooches: jilldhawkins on IG. It is FAR from perfect, but i enjoy it all nonetheless. 🙂

Next up, I thought I’d just share these cards I have been making and finishing up to mail out. I have likely mailed out over 50 cards since this all started and I have more to send next week. But I am definitely going to need to MAKE more!! 🙂 I think it’s the best time to send cards right now. ❤ A little touch of the outside world.

I love using a bunch of different postage stamps too. 🙂

If you follow me on Instagram, these are not new to you likely, but thought I’d share them here on my blog too.

First up, here’s some fun from Concord & 9th!

This was a promo set Concord & 9th was giving away with orders, but THIS SET HERE is fun and delightful as well….I may or may not have this one too. 🙂 shhhhh! 🙂 It’s called Rainbow Wishes (stamps) and Rainbow Wishes (dies). You can get both the stamps and dies together HERE.

Once last handful of cards– I don’t own this Paper Hug die from The Stamp Market, but I borrowed it from a friend on a crafty weekend to create a handful of cards, many moons ago and just finished them all up! 🙂
Hope your day is a good one and you can find some time to mail out some sunshine too! You can find fun envelopes from Taylored Expressions HERE and you can even order postage stamps online–if you need them! Just sayin’. ❤

Take care–Jill 🙂

Make Today Great!

Happy Friday!! Make Today Great! And I am with a little help from Paper Smooches ♥️!!

For this card, I used Paper Smooches Caffeinated, Caffeinated icon dies, Sunnyville (sentiment), Hearts dies, Half Moon Paper, and Rainbow Sherbet paper. I pieced it all together, scored the card panel and added some stitching to pull it all together. ❤

I can’t remember the last time I did too much paper piecing like this and I so enjoy how it turned out. Such fun to make and I can’t wait to pop it in the mail! 🙂 I just ❤ this little PS Coffee Cup!!

Be sure to check out the new February Paper Smooches release! The Paper Smooches Design Team will be sharing the March Release next week!! I can’t wait to share the fun with you all!

Hope your day and weekend is GREAT!

Take care–Jill 🙂

Hola!

Happy Friday!! Hola from me and a little Paper Smooches ♥️!!

For this card, I used Paper Smooches new Happy Hellos Stamps. I sure do love this little Hola avacado! 🙂 I colored this Copic Markers and used the Fab Frames dies to frame it. I also used the Half Moon papers.

I’m hoping to make a card set with this little stamp for my son’s teacher this Spring. 🙂

Be sure to check out the new February Paper Smooches release!

Taylored Expressions Release Week: Day 3

Welcome to Day Three of Taylored Expressions February Release Week! If you missed my other two posts earlier this week,  I’ll link you up down below. 🙂

Today, I am sharing the new Big Grumpy Easter. And you know, I could not love this more if I tried! How funny (and oh so very happy) does he look? The little bunny ears?! It just completely makes me smile!  🙂

He plopped the chocolate bunny head first into the basket. Too much!  😉

I colored everything with Copic makers and adhered using TE Foam tape onto the Embossing Folder: Cloudy Days background. This card also has the new Drip Drop bits that are so awesome to add a little somethin somethin. 😉

I could make these all day! Too funny! 🙂

Next up, I have a card I made with the new Eggceptional Background and the previously released Hip Hop Bunny because he wanted in on the Easter action too! 🙂 This egg background colors in lickety split with the coordinating stencil. 1-2-3 with TE Blender Brushes and done! 🙂

This sentiment is from the Big Grumpy Easter set as well. Doesn’t he too look super happy!? haaahahaaa!!

I colored this silly bunny with Copic markers and added to the background with some vellum to add a little interest. 🙂

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks: Day 2

Welcome back to Day Two of Taylored Expressions February Release Week! If you missed my post yesterday sharing day one, I’ll link you up down below. 🙂

This first card is a blended, bright celebration using the forthcoming Third Day Border die and Inside Scoop-Easter Blessings. I blended inks on and wanted to keep it fairly simple from there.

I used the previously released Here Comes the Sun stencil on the inside of the card. I think it is the perfect touch!

The next card here, I used the new Pretty Posies stamp and the Words of Faith Easter sentiment. I so enjoy the lovely Pretty Posies frame. You must check out what the rest of the TE Team made, because they made BEAUTIFUL cards with it! 🙂

Again, I went with a simple design to showcase these sentiments. The Posies are white heat embossed and I am always a fan of that on the Toffee. 🙂

On the inside, I again used a stencil to add a little extra touch. This stencil is the forthcoming Folk Art Tulip. I just blended on some Toffee ink lightly.

Lovely cards to celebrate the Easter season. ❤
