Oh Baby–New Release from TE!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today that includes products for Babies! And goodness, just like babies, this release is adorable!

First up, we have the new Onesie Funsies and I obviously could not stop making them! I love these little sentiments you can stamp on the onesies and I wanted to use them all! πŸ™‚

First, I blended on all the inks using the new Gingham Rotating Stencil. I made one 6 x 6 panel and managed to cut out (5) full onsies and (2) partial onsies! EEEEEk they are the best! And then there are new little silver Hangers that put the cuteness over the top!! πŸ™‚

I thought it would be sweet to use theΒ  Scalloped Notecard die and create a handful of these little cards. They work perfectly for little shower gifts for when a baby arrives. I use these a lot for babies–because itty bitty! πŸ™‚

The Snuggle is REAL! πŸ™‚

This Blowouts one might be my fave! πŸ˜‚

Naps are for Quitters. I die!! So cute! I just the Frame in Frame 2 and added some simple score lines and splatters to them all to complete the panels with some stitching. I love how these turned out, letting the little Onesies Funsies shine! πŸ™‚

Gah! And then, things keep on up with the CUTE! There is a new die set called Vintage Wooden Toys and you can add cute little button wheels to complete the look. Definitely be sure to check out the rest of the Creative Team’s cards for examples–they are ADORABLE!!

I went with a simple little whale from the set, using the die piece that is supposed to be his tail later as the water spout. It works both ways, doesn’t it?! πŸ˜‰

I created the blended background with the Mini Slim Tidal stencil using a handful of inks (see supplies for colors). The sentiment is the New Oh Baby die and I thought that was fun adding the pink little heart in it. πŸ™‚

And a heart of vellum behind the whale using the Heart Stacklets dies.

I stenciled all of the Mini Slim Tidal inside of the Mini Slim Scalloped Masking stencil. I love layering stencils like that. I creates a multilayer look without actually adding any layers! Perfect for mailing. Of course, I had to pop on a little big googley eye too! πŸ™‚

So cute! Babies are always fun to create cards for! ❀

Here’s the scoop from TE:

Right now through 11:59 PM Central Sunday, May 8th, you will get an A2 Cardstock New Color Sampler Pack with any purchase of $75 or more. Grad/Congrats Release from TE!

Hello all! It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? Phew!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today that includes products for celebrating GRADUATES and includes many things to celebrate accomplishments, birthdays, “way to go” etc etc. One of the most exciting things is there is a new Create-In-Quads stencil set! Score! πŸ™‚

Let’s get this party started with the Create-In-Quads: Hooray set, shall we?

You can use the Create in Quads Cardstock to create (4) A2 size card creations. It works swimmingly–I prefer it to a full sheet just for ease. πŸ˜‰

For my cards, I leaned in on the celebrate side of things vs. several graduation cards. I like the idea of having happy Congrats cards ready to go and Celebrate!

I stenciled all the card panels first, and then die cut the You Did It from the first one. I added some fun foam underneath to give it a little oomph and then pieced the letters back on top. I love when there are bold word diesΒ  to use for this technique! πŸ™‚

It’s a party, for sure!! You Did It!! πŸ™‚

Next here is a grad one for sure! πŸ™‚ These products are great because you can customize them to the graduates school colors, but I thought it would be fun to just do bright colors as well. Sometimes you don’t know the colors you need or you have several grads to celebrate, all graduating from different institutions. The 2022 is a pre cut Die Cut and those come in Silver and Oreo. So snag a pack of those and be ready to go!

I love this banner one too! You’re a Star is from the High Five sentiment set. I heat embossed that on Blueberry and added a Simple Strip from the original Simple Strips Background.

I super enjoy how these banners turned out and truth be told, I was trying for this effect, but somehow, it came out that way and now I will!Β  Ha! πŸ™‚

I finished it off with the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets set and the Petite Scallop Rectangle Set, to cut the panels. Some stitching and some Clear Drip Drops and it’s a party for sure!

This last card includes the All You Need stamp and it’s a good one. While it is perfect for Grads, I think this can be used anytime as a card of encouragement too.

I love the star border and I just added a few splatters to “festive it up” even more!

Next up, I created an Infinite Shaker card with the Infinite Shaker panels and the You Did It layering stencil. I simply masked off the letters as I ink blended TE Inks on in different colors!

Of course, I had to add alllllllllllll the bits in. I had just a smattering of the Confetti Clay Dots left so I snuck those in too. πŸ™‚

This card is definitely a PARTY!! πŸ™‚

Last up, is the Bokeh Star Background and this is a fun one for sure… I did the lowest layer in Sugar Cube and Sea Salt Ink to create a bokeh look in the end. I love these stencil sets. You can create such subtle layers that are fun for effect. They might show up better in person vs. in the photos? πŸ™‚

I used the Sea Salt cardstock for this one and it turned out great! These are so fun to blend together.

I finished this one with the Frame in Frame 2 die and the One the Block-Happy with a Simple Strip from the Simple Strips-Birthday set. The die cut stars are from the Gathered Stars die–alllll the sizes. I need to get this Bokeh Stars stencil set out and just make backgrounds to have on the ready. πŸ™‚ So many uses!

Here’s the scoop from TE:

Right now through Sunday, April 24th, when you make any purchase of $75 or more you will receive the Congrats Script die FREE! It’s the perfect sentiment for any card that you create to celebrate a special event or achievement.Β Offer valid while supplies last.

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions. See my links belowΒ  πŸ™‚

New Celebrate YOU from TE!

Taylored Expressions has a new Cardmaking Kit in town today and it is called Celebrate You! It is a super fun one because you can make infinity shakers galore! And foil! And stamp! And—well, there is a lot of fun to be had in this one! πŸ™‚

First up, I wanted to use the Easy Strips to create a background that I die cut with the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklet and the Diagonal Stitched Rectangle Stacklet. I then tucked that panel inside the Infinity Shaker panel with the Shaker Dots included in the kit.

The words are created with the foiled Acetate Panel “Let’s Celebrate You” that is also in the kit. I foiled that with the Silver Stars foil. I put that on the background, which ultimately made taking photos hard, but in person, it is fun!! Ha!! πŸ™‚

This next card includes the previously released Bits and Pieces-Confetti Dots which look good enough to eat–But DON’T! haaaaa! They are made of clay and that would be bad. I love these though. I need to order more because I might have used all mine now. πŸ˜‰

I white heat embossed with Let’s Celebrate You stamp on Blueberry Cardstock and framed that out with the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate.Β  I can’t wait to make more these—so simple and yet, it is a party in a card!!

Also, can we just talk about the stickers for a minute?! LOVE. THEM.

Here’s the scoop from TE:

You’ll have everything you need to commemorate all the special occasions in life with our exclusive Celebrate You Cardmaking Kit! From anniversaries, birthdays and retirements to making the grade, earning a spot on the team or achieving something big, show them just how special they are with a card that celebrates that big accomplishment!

Our Celebrate You Cardmaking Kit retails for $62, comes in a zippered pouch with a custom sticker, and includes:

  • Let’s Celebrate You stamp
  • Foil it Acetate – Let’s Celebrate You panels (12 panels)
  • Mini Strips – Let’s Celebrate stamp
  • A2 Infinity Shaker Panels (5 panels)
  • Confetti Maker die
  • Mini Pot of Shaker Dots
  • A2 Envelope Pack (6 envelopes: Lollipop, Lemon Meringue, Candy Corn, Key Lime, Plum Punch, Sugar Cube)
  • Envelope Seal Pack (6 seals)
******Limited quantity available******

Most items are not available to purchase individually.Β You will be able to purchase additional envelope seals (pack of 10), additional A2 Infinity Shaker Panels, and the Mini Strips – Flags die (not included in the kit) separately.

PLEASE NOTE:
The vast majority of the individual items included in our cardmaking kits will not be available to purchase individually in the future. New Release from TE!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today that includes products for Mother’s Day and includes a lot florals. Really, these can be used alllllll the days! πŸ™‚

The BIG NEWS is there is something exciting today–THE MINI SLIM TRIFECTA!! It is technically called The Triple Slim: In the Garden. It is AMAZING!!

This is in the same vein as the Create in Quads series, but this creates Mini Slims and it creates three lovelies! And you use the same Create in Quads cardstock as used for the A2 size card creations.

I used about 15 colors for these cards– you’re going to want to refer to my supply list below for details. I blended all the inks on around and around!

I love how these cards turned out! SO lovely and fun!

Next up is the new Planting Happiness. Heather Nichols created this set and I colored all the flowers but then ended up using just one. Ha! Funny how that works!

This is a blend of Cookie Monster, Blueberry and Blue Corn. I used the Masking Rectangle for this panel along with the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets.

The sentiment is from Love & Hugs white heat embossed and die cut out. I added some Clear Drip Drops.

Next up is the Flower Patch Background + Layering Stencil + Get the Word Out-Mother’s Day. This is a super quick little ditty bc while it looks colored, it really is just filled in with stencils. For this card I stamped the background in Honey which was a different thing for me. Definitely different, but I like the way this card turned out in the end!

This is a sweet card already to go!

Here’s the scoop from TE:

Happy Half Birthday, TE!

Taylored Expressions has a Half Birthday and is celebrating today!! The New Release today includes a new CREATE IN QUADS Stencil. My son celebrated his half birthday yesterday, so super enjoyable week on the Half Birthdays!!

For this card, I used the new Create in Quads-Birthday! Quad stencils are awesome because you get four panels in one swoop! You can make them all right away or save a panel for later and add a sentiment when you need one. Let’s get on with the cards shall we!

For these cards, I used all the fun bright colors–Lollipop, Cookie Monster, Pineapple, Granny Smith, Candy Corn. I made all the panels first on the Create in Quads Sugarcube cardstock. and then I trimmed them down to size. For some, I then used different stacklets.

The next one includes the other new goodie that is sent with qualifying purchases. Be U-nicorn and he is super cute!!! Gah!! I colored him with Copic Markers and added some Happy Medium Iridescent Glitter in the cloud.

The Wish Big sentiment is from the new It’s Your Day set (+dies).

The outside is created with the Frame in Frame 2.

My last two cards, I tried to keep things very simple and didn’t even add any stitching. I truly don’t know that I will do that again because the card doesn’t feel complete. ha!

The little bits are the new Clay Confetti Dots. The frame is created with the Diagonal Stitched Rectangle Stacklets.

There is a coordinating die to cut out both the party hat and the packages. I didn’t use them for these cards, but thought I would mention. πŸ™‚

I used the same method for this cards as well. Party Time!! πŸ™‚

The critters are from the Mythical Grumplings set and the sentiments are Simple Strips from both Simple Strips-Birthday and Simple Strips-Snarky.

Here’s the scoop from TE:

Right now through 11:59PM CT, Sunday, March 20th when you make a purchase of $100 or more in the TE webstore, you will receive the Be U-nicorn Clear & Die Combo set FREE! This adorable unicorn critter floating on a cloud is perfect for sending a little magic and good luck to the special people in your life!Β Please note that this promotional set replaces our March incentive set during this release week. Offer valid while supplies last.

Taylored Expressions: Easter Release!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today celebrating Easter! Let’s think Spring and bunnies and sunshine!

First up, there is a new Full Circle and this time it is for Easter! Full Circle-Easter! And oh, is it cute! Anyone else agree? I white heat embossed Full Circle-Easter for this card.

After heat embossing it, I used the Stitched Circle Stacklets to cut out the circle. I love these Full Circles as backgrounds, off set and without die cutting, but for this card, I wanted to feature it with the Little Bits-Oh Hoppy Day bunnies. They are one of my TE Easter Faves with their little bunny cotton tails.

The background panel I die cut using the Stitched with Love cutting plate. That little background is so sweet, I have trouble not using it for everything. It adds a little love so subtly. The sentiment, Somebunny Loves You is from the Full Circle -Easter Set. I added a little stitching and some twine and done. πŸ™‚

Up next, we have the new Eggstra Sweet and is it ever! I stamped three chicks because we have three in our family πŸ˜‰ and colored them with Copic Markers on Potato Chip cardstock. Using a Mini Slim Panel in Sugar Cube, I used the new die cut plate, Stitched with Love to create a little interest in the background. I also added a grassy green base using the Set the Scene – Grass Stencil Strips. Perfect!

This sentiment is from the new Joyful Joyful sentiment set that I stamped ombre with some green inks and die cut that out. The sentiment strip is from Mini Strips-Easter that I die cut out with the Mini Strips Asymmetrical die. The panels are the Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets and the Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets cut out of Cupcake. Always the Cupcake πŸ™‚

Lastly for today, I have the new At the Cross die. This die comes with the solid backer plate, which I think you could use on it’s own and also with this filigree die, that layers perfectly on top, or again, can be used on its own too.

I used, wait for it… Lavender Glaze cardstock (wha?) and blended on some coordinating ink to give the filigree die cut a little extra pop. For the background, I used the new Mini Slim Rotating Ray stencil along with the Set the Scene – Clouds Stencil Strips and the Mini Slim Masking Stencils – Mini Slim Rectangle. The sentiment is Mini Strips In Reverse – Easter foiled with Silver foil. Those sentiments foil to perfection and the best part is, it is so fast and easy to create a bunch if you have several cards to make. I want alllll the Foiled sentiments all the time! πŸ™‚

I finished this card off with some silver thread from my stash, a bit of stitching on the Mini Slim panel and the Bits & Pieces – Iridescent Rhinestones. The last panel is again cut with the Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets.

The Easter release is always so fun and gives us hope of warmer days ahead, doesn’t it? I actually like Winter, but as we near the end of February, I am definitely ready for the green grass again!

By the way, there is a NEW gift with purchase over at TE this month month–it is called Get the Word Out–Hello and it is fabulous and so useful for all the days!

Easy Strips + Exclusives Release at Taylored Expressions Today!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today–Some goodies that were released at Stamp Joy in October are being released and some exclusives that were previously unavailable to purchase. These are some of my fave releases!

EASY STRIPS! This might be one of my favorite TE products of all time. Maybe. πŸ™‚ These dies cut strips of paper in perfect 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2 inch strips. Believe you me, I know… we can cut these ourselves on our paper trimmer. BUT these have that rounded perfection and uniformity that makes projects shine. Gah, I love them!

First up, this is a pretty straightforward design in classic fashion and the results are always delightful! This is a combo of rainbow Easy Strips in 1/4″, alternating with 1/8″ Easy Strips in Sugar Cube.

The frame is cut with the Frame in Frame 2. It’s a great and quick way to shape a card!

Next up, I thought it would be fun to arrange all the different strips sizes in a random fashion with a different pattern here. The possibilities are literally endless!

The sentiment is die cut with the letters in Cap It Off Alpha and the Sunshine is from Building Blocks- Be Bright. I wanted to keep the sentiment simple and small to let the strips steal the show!Β

I have die cut a boatload of these strips and plan to use them often. I find I use things more if they are ready to go. Strippin’ in the craft room! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Next up, the Balloon Party stencil layering set is available! This is a fun layering set that I loved using last year when it was a gift with purchase.

For these cards, I made one panel and then cut it in half to gain TWO cards! LOVE that! I chose a color palette that wasn’t rainbow (that is hard to resist with this stencil!) and I like the way it turned out.

So easy to make two cards! Boom!

I used the Simple Strips-Birthday to add these quick sentiments and done!

I stamped the On the Block-Happy using different greens to create an ombre look–turned out fun!

Here’s a quick look at the cards I made last September using the Balloon Party Layering set:

Ok…last share today is the now widely released Flourishing Frame die. I decided this was perfect for a wedding card using the Framed Script Mr. & Mrs.

This is a very different color combo for me (Blue Corn, Dijon and Cupcake), but it is growing on me. πŸ™‚ Oh, I also used the Fine Line Leaf stamp that I have been itching to use. I need to use that more though yet. πŸ™‚

Here’s another card I made last year with this Flourishing Frame:

Here’s the scoop from TE:

With the purchase of any 3 Easy Strips dies (any combination of the Easy Strips – 1/8β€³ die, Easy Strips – 1/4β€³ die, and Easy Strips – 1/2β€³ die), you will receive an Easy Strip Stack pack FREE. The Easy Strip Stack includes cardstock in multiple colors sized to match the Easy Strip dies. You get three sheets of each of the following colors: Fruit Punch, Guava, Sweet Potato Pie, Pineapple, Lime Zest, Cilantro, Confetti Cake, Blue Raspberry, Blueberry, and Eggplant.

Also, with any purchase of $75 or more (before tax & shipping), you will receive a FREE Mini Slim Envelope Valentine pack. The envelope pack includes 2 each of Cupcake, Pink Champagne, Strawberry Milkshake, Lollipop and Watermelon Mini Slim envelopes.

**Both promotions run now through Sunday, January 23rd or while supplies last.

Taylored Expressions: 2022 New Release–Valentines!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today–the first of 2022! It is the Valentine’s Release! Set aside all the Christmas goodies for now and let’s get to making some ❀ cards, shall we?!

First up, there is a new Gus & Gertie set! Gahhhhh! One of my faves from TE is Gus & Gertie–so cute! This one is called Gus & Gertie Best Buds. They are too!

I used the Half a Heart stencil set for the background (released last year and still a go to!). I cut out that panel with the Arched Stacklets. I created a very simple scene using the Build a Scene-Heart Fence and the cloud from the Rainbow Cloud Duo. I love how this color combo came out–I thought it would be fun to try and I am definitely going to use it again: Toffee, Mint Julep, Peaches n Cream.

Gus & Gertie are just the CUTEST!

Next up, this is a fun one and there is a promo for it! (Be sure you scroll to the end of this post to read all about it.)

This one is called Donut Days and let me just say, they had me a Donut. To boot, there is a new Stacklet set called Box Top Stacklets which makes a perfect Donut box. I can see using this for MANY things though.

I stamped all the donuts out and then cut them with the Donut die. I used the Gingham Background to create a fun donut box in the traditional donut box bakery style. (Did anyone watch the documentary on Netflix called the Donut King? So interesting!)

Of course, I thought it would be fun to add acetate and as long as I am doing that, I might as well make it a shaker! πŸ™‚

The sentiments are new from the Mini Strips set called Donut Worry! Love sentiment strips!

Next up, we have this fun lightbulb of love set called Love Lights which I adore! I used the Foil it panels and foiled it background in Aqua foil. I thought this color combo was another different one for me, and I like it too: Lavender Glaze, Sweet Potato and Cookie Monster–in conjunction with the Aqua foil. Fun!

The sentiments are from another new Mini Strip set called Watts of Love. Can’t even. πŸ™‚ It is very tricky for me to photography foiled cards, but hopefully you can kind of see it in the photo below. πŸ™‚

I used the Frame in Frame 2 die–because I always do. πŸ™‚ I am going to be making this card with the Glow in the Dark medium from TE very soon! Can’t wait! πŸ™‚

And last up for today, there is a new cutting plate background which is the BEES KNEES called Stitched with Love Cutting Plate. I used this along with a couple of Max & Millie sets that were previously released.

Technically, these cats are both Max, but no one needs to know that but you and me. πŸ˜‰ I thought this card was a trip. haaaa!

The Hearts on the background actually cut all the way through, so you can gather up a bunch of tiny little hearts, but I decided to adhere them all in for this look. This cutting plate is the best! So simple and lovely.

By the way, there is a NEW gift with purchase over at TE this month month–it is called Good Hearted Background and it is a background full of ❀ ! ❀ this one! No pun intended. πŸ˜‰

(this Typewriter set above just retired, but I thought I’d share this card anyway because of the fun heart background.)

Here’s the scoop from TE:

When you purchase the Donut Days Collection (Donut Days Cling & Clear Combo set, Donut Days stencil, Donut Days die, and Mini Strips- Donut Worry stamp) through Sunday, January 9th, you will get a free exclusive video craft along class with Heather!

Create in Quads from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today! It is the Create in Quads: Snowflake Stencils! I am sooooooooo excited about these! The stenciling is super fast and then boom, four cards! These are even easier using the Create-in-Quads Paper Packs. (Not essential for creating, but just helps streamline your Quad stenciling. πŸ˜‰)

For these cards on toffee, I used Poblano Pepper, Sugar Cube, Mushroom, Earl Grey and Fruit Punch inks.

The sentiments are from the new Winter Blessings sentiment set and there are coordinating dies too.

I also had to use a little Gus & Gertie: Holiday Adventures. They are OH too cute!

I die cut the Open Scallop Circle out of TE Vellum to create a subtle backdrop for the sentiments.

They all turned out so wintery and delightful. This is a GREAT way to make a card set for gifting!

I finished them all off with some stitching and someΒ  Clear Drip Drops.

Next up, I used the Sugar Cube Create-in-Quads Paper Packs to create a set in Sugar Cube. I wanted to see if I could keep this set REALLY simple, so I eliminated the stitching. I don’t think I will do that again because they truly feel incomplete to me–ha! Creature of habit.

Initially,Β  I set out to make a set of Rainbow Snowflake cards but I got sidetracked mid stenciling and forgot my plan! Ha! Anyone else ever do this? πŸ˜‹ So anywho, I ended up with this funky pastel set…

But I do enjoy how they turned out, so it’s all good! πŸ™‚

I used the Frame in Frame 2 die set, along with the Petite Scallop Rectangular Stacklets. I created a simple way to add a little something without going crazy. πŸ™‚

This set of cards is made with the Get Cozy set. I love the font in this set along with the simple block layout. Right up my alley. πŸ˜‰

I decided use Strawberry Milkshake for the card bases. I added some embossed lines on some for a little extra.

I added a little simple silver thread to this card. I broke my SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE rule just this once for this card. πŸ™‚

Hanukkah Release from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today !!Β  It has a handful of goodies to celebrateΒ Hanukkah! What a wonderful release to add to your collection to celebrate Hanukkah.

Today, I used the new Get the Word Out- Happy and Get the Word Out – Happy Shadow along with a few previously released products. Funny enough, even though this is a Hanukkah release, as discussed above, I ended up making more of a Holiday Season card.

To create the background I used one of my SUPER faves, the Modern Holly Layering Stencils with greens and Guava. I then die cut the Diagonal Stitched Rectangle Stacklets with that. To finish it off, I die cut the ombre Happy along with the On the Repeat-Holiday and popped those in the Frame in Frame 2 die.

I just love the way the greens come out on this stencil and I just have so much fun layering these stencils. I finished this with some stitching and some Clear Drip Drops… which reminds me that I need to purchase some more of those, since I am running low! ahhhh!

Also, one more thing while I have you–there is a NEW gift with purchase over at TE this October month–it is called Winter Village and it is a good one! I haven’t seen a free gift that I haven’t like yet! Anyway, I wanted to share a few cards I had made with it here:

I thought this one worked wonderfully to just sent a Season’s Greetings type card. The new Arch Stacklets frame a scene perfectly!

This next card is sort of any time kind of card–Welcome to the Neighborhood! I kept this one pretty simple too. (This sentiment is from theΒ OH MY WORD – HELLO set.

The tag is from the Pierced Tag Stacklets–a long time FAVE! πŸ™‚

Lastly, more of a Christmas card, if you will, but using alternate color scheme that I think I would normally reach for with Christmas cards?

Oh how I loved how soft and sweet this one turned out!

Here’s the scoop from TE:
