Easy Strips + Exclusives Release at Taylored Expressions Today!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today–Some goodies that were released at Stamp Joy in October are being released and some exclusives that were previously unavailable to purchase. These are some of my fave releases!

EASY STRIPS! This might be one of my favorite TE products of all time. Maybe. πŸ™‚ These dies cut strips of paper in perfect 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2 inch strips. Believe you me, I know… we can cut these ourselves on our paper trimmer. BUT these have that rounded perfection and uniformity that makes projects shine. Gah, I love them!

First up, this is a pretty straightforward design in classic fashion and the results are always delightful! This is a combo of rainbow Easy Strips in 1/4″, alternating with 1/8″ Easy Strips in Sugar Cube.

The frame is cut with the Frame in Frame 2. It’s a great and quick way to shape a card!

Next up, I thought it would be fun to arrange all the different strips sizes in a random fashion with a different pattern here. The possibilities are literally endless!

The sentiment is die cut with the letters in Cap It Off Alpha and the Sunshine is from Building Blocks- Be Bright. I wanted to keep the sentiment simple and small to let the strips steal the show!Β

I have die cut a boatload of these strips and plan to use them often. I find I use things more if they are ready to go. Strippin’ in the craft room! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Next up, the Balloon Party stencil layering set is available! This is a fun layering set that I loved using last year when it was a gift with purchase.

For these cards, I made one panel and then cut it in half to gain TWO cards! LOVE that! I chose a color palette that wasn’t rainbow (that is hard to resist with this stencil!) and I like the way it turned out.

So easy to make two cards! Boom!

I used the Simple Strips-Birthday to add these quick sentiments and done!

I stamped the On the Block-Happy using different greens to create an ombre look–turned out fun!

Here’s a quick look at the cards I made last September using the Balloon Party Layering set:

Ok…last share today is the now widely released Flourishing Frame die. I decided this was perfect for a wedding card using the Framed Script Mr. & Mrs.

This is a very different color combo for me (Blue Corn, Dijon and Cupcake), but it is growing on me. πŸ™‚ Oh, I also used the Fine Line Leaf stamp that I have been itching to use. I need to use that more though yet. πŸ™‚

Here’s another card I made last year with this Flourishing Frame:

Here’s the scoop from TE:

With the purchase of any 3 Easy Strips dies (any combination of the Easy Strips – 1/8β€³ die, Easy Strips – 1/4β€³ die, and Easy Strips – 1/2β€³ die), you will receive an Easy Strip Stack pack FREE. The Easy Strip Stack includes cardstock in multiple colors sized to match the Easy Strip dies. You get three sheets of each of the following colors: Fruit Punch, Guava, Sweet Potato Pie, Pineapple, Lime Zest, Cilantro, Confetti Cake, Blue Raspberry, Blueberry, and Eggplant.

Also, with any purchase of $75 or more (before tax & shipping), you will receive a FREE Mini Slim Envelope Valentine pack. The envelope pack includes 2 each of Cupcake, Pink Champagne, Strawberry Milkshake, Lollipop and Watermelon Mini Slim envelopes.

**Both promotions run now through Sunday, January 23rd or while supplies last.

Taylored Expressions: 2022 New Release–Valentines!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today–the first of 2022! It is the Valentine’s Release! Set aside all the Christmas goodies for now and let’s get to making some ❀ cards, shall we?!

First up, there is a new Gus & Gertie set! Gahhhhh! One of my faves from TE is Gus & Gertie–so cute! This one is called Gus & Gertie Best Buds. They are too!

I used the Half a Heart stencil set for the background (released last year and still a go to!). I cut out that panel with the Arched Stacklets. I created a very simple scene using the Build a Scene-Heart Fence and the cloud from the Rainbow Cloud Duo. I love how this color combo came out–I thought it would be fun to try and I am definitely going to use it again: Toffee, Mint Julep, Peaches n Cream.

Gus & Gertie are just the CUTEST!

Next up, this is a fun one and there is a promo for it! (Be sure you scroll to the end of this post to read all about it.)

This one is called Donut Days and let me just say, they had me a Donut. To boot, there is a new Stacklet set called Box Top Stacklets which makes a perfect Donut box. I can see using this for MANY things though.

I stamped all the donuts out and then cut them with the Donut die. I used the Gingham Background to create a fun donut box in the traditional donut box bakery style. (Did anyone watch the documentary on Netflix called the Donut King? So interesting!)

Of course, I thought it would be fun to add acetate and as long as I am doing that, I might as well make it a shaker! πŸ™‚

The sentiments are new from the Mini Strips set called Donut Worry! Love sentiment strips!

Next up, we have this fun lightbulb of love set called Love Lights which I adore! I used the Foil it panels and foiled it background in Aqua foil. I thought this color combo was another different one for me, and I like it too: Lavender Glaze, Sweet Potato and Cookie Monster–in conjunction with the Aqua foil. Fun!

The sentiments are from another new Mini Strip set called Watts of Love. Can’t even. πŸ™‚ It is very tricky for me to photography foiled cards, but hopefully you can kind of see it in the photo below. πŸ™‚

I used the Frame in Frame 2 die–because I always do. πŸ™‚ I am going to be making this card with the Glow in the Dark medium from TE very soon! Can’t wait! πŸ™‚

And last up for today, there is a new cutting plate background which is the BEES KNEES called Stitched with Love Cutting Plate. I used this along with a couple of Max & Millie sets that were previously released.

Technically, these cats are both Max, but no one needs to know that but you and me. πŸ˜‰ I thought this card was a trip. haaaa!

The Hearts on the background actually cut all the way through, so you can gather up a bunch of tiny little hearts, but I decided to adhere them all in for this look. This cutting plate is the best! So simple and lovely.

By the way, there is a NEW gift with purchase over at TE this month month–it is called Good Hearted Background and it is a background full of ❀ ! ❀ this one! No pun intended. πŸ˜‰

(this Typewriter set above just retired, but I thought I’d share this card anyway because of the fun heart background.)

Here’s the scoop from TE:

Create in Quads from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today! It is the Create in Quads: Snowflake Stencils! I am sooooooooo excited about these! The stenciling is super fast and then boom, four cards! These are even easier using the Create-in-Quads Paper Packs. (Not essential for creating, but just helps streamline your Quad stenciling. πŸ˜‰)

For these cards on toffee, I used Poblano Pepper, Sugar Cube, Mushroom, Earl Grey and Fruit Punch inks.

The sentiments are from the new Winter Blessings sentiment set and there are coordinating dies too.

I also had to use a little Gus & Gertie: Holiday Adventures. They are OH too cute!

I die cut the Open Scallop Circle out of TE Vellum to create a subtle backdrop for the sentiments.

They all turned out so wintery and delightful. This is a GREAT way to make a card set for gifting!

I finished them all off with some stitching and someΒ  Clear Drip Drops.

Next up, I used the Sugar Cube Create-in-Quads Paper Packs to create a set in Sugar Cube. I wanted to see if I could keep this set REALLY simple, so I eliminated the stitching. I don’t think I will do that again because they truly feel incomplete to me–ha! Creature of habit.

Initially,Β  I set out to make a set of Rainbow Snowflake cards but I got sidetracked mid stenciling and forgot my plan! Ha! Anyone else ever do this? πŸ˜‹ So anywho, I ended up with this funky pastel set…

But I do enjoy how they turned out, so it’s all good! πŸ™‚

I used the Frame in Frame 2 die set, along with the Petite Scallop Rectangular Stacklets. I created a simple way to add a little something without going crazy. πŸ™‚

This set of cards is made with the Get Cozy set. I love the font in this set along with the simple block layout. Right up my alley. πŸ˜‰

I decided use Strawberry Milkshake for the card bases. I added some embossed lines on some for a little extra.

I added a little simple silver thread to this card. I broke my SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE rule just this once for this card. πŸ™‚

If you missed the first set of Create in Quads Stencils created, those are called Create-in-Quads – Mistletoe Layering Stencil. This is the newest set, and I’m guessing FAR from the last! Such a cool and brilliant idea.

By the way, there is a NEW gift with purchase over at TE this month month–it is called Anytime Expressions and it is a great set of sentiments for any time of year:

This is also using the Best Buds Layering Stencil Set and the Like Gnome Other stamps and dies.

Here’s the scoop from TE:

When you purchase theΒ Create-in-Quads Snowflake β€œI Want it All” BundleΒ (Create-in-Quads Snowflake Layered Stencil set, Winter Blessings stamp set, Winter Blessings die collection, and Clearly Crafty Get Cozy stamp set) through Sunday, December 12th, you will get a free exclusive video craft along class with Taylor!

Hanukkah Release from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today !!Β  It has a handful of goodies to celebrateΒ Hanukkah! What a wonderful release to add to your collection to celebrate Hanukkah.

Today, I used the new Get the Word Out- Happy and Get the Word Out – Happy Shadow along with a few previously released products. Funny enough, even though this is a Hanukkah release, as discussed above, I ended up making more of a Holiday Season card.

To create the background I used one of my SUPER faves, the Modern Holly Layering Stencils with greens and Guava. I then die cut the Diagonal Stitched Rectangle Stacklets with that. To finish it off, I die cut the ombre Happy along with the On the Repeat-Holiday and popped those in the Frame in Frame 2 die.

I just love the way the greens come out on this stencil and I just have so much fun layering these stencils. I finished this with some stitching and some Clear Drip Drops… which reminds me that I need to purchase some more of those, since I am running low! ahhhh!

Also, one more thing while I have you–there is a NEW gift with purchase over at TE this October month–it is called Winter Village and it is a good one! I haven’t seen a free gift that I haven’t like yet! Anyway, I wanted to share a few cards I had made with it here:

I thought this one worked wonderfully to just sent a Season’s Greetings type card. The new Arch Stacklets frame a scene perfectly!

This next card is sort of any time kind of card–Welcome to the Neighborhood! I kept this one pretty simple too. (This sentiment is from theΒ OH MY WORD – HELLO set.

The tag is from the Pierced Tag Stacklets–a long time FAVE! πŸ™‚

Lastly, more of a Christmas card, if you will, but using alternate color scheme that I think I would normally reach for with Christmas cards?

Oh how I loved how soft and sweet this one turned out!

Here’s the scoop from TE:

Right now through Sunday, October 10th you can get all of the new Hanukkah products in one click! The β€˜I Want it All Bundle’ retails for $82.50 and includes:

  • Foil It – Hanukkah
  • Bright Hanukkah
  • Bright Hanukkah Dies
  • Simple Strips – Hanukkah
  • Get the Word Out – Happy
  • Get the Word Out – Happy Shadow
  • On Repeat – Hanukkah
  • ExclusiveΒ Glitter Cardstock Pack (4 sheets each of Dark Blue, Light Blue and Silver)

Offer valid from 9am (CT) on Oct 5 through 11:59 pm on Oct 10 (or while supplies last)

Abstract Kit from Taylored Expressions

Today, there is a NEW Kit available over atΒ  Taylored Expressions! It’s call the Abstract Kit and it has endless possibilities! There are so many different ideas and color combos I can think of with these stencils alone. Gah! πŸ™‚

I started out using the stencils mostly with different color inks. I chose a more Fall inspired palette, mostly because I was all about the autumn colors when I made these.

I used the Frame in Frame 2 die and a combo of the stencils with the stamps to create little piles in the corners.

I love cards like these because I feel like there are endless possibilities to colors and configurations with these. This makes them fun to mass produce and super for making and gifting card sets!

The stamps are fun to add on top of each other or just as little bits here and there. These are so simple but yet they were so fun to design.

AND for the record, I used Avocado ink… and I’m not sure I have ever used Avocado before? Is that possible? ha! πŸ™‚

I finished off both of these with some twine and some stitching. ❀

I also wanted to use the Subtle Sprigs die set Β additional die cuts, Branch Out die set, you can add on to your kit.

For this cardΒ  AND the next, I also branched out (wink wink) and used the Dijon cardstock! Again, have I used this before? I really stretched my color windows for this kit. πŸ™‚

I die cut from both the Dijon and the Sweet Potato Pie, piecing everything back in again. For the backgrounds on both my cards, I used the Shiplap Background stamped with Mushroom.

The Shiplap Background is in that must-have category for me. So versatile! I also used Plum Punch! Seriously, who am I? I clear embossed the sentiment on Vellum to make them stand out a wee bit more

And once again, I finished these off with some twine and stitching. πŸ™‚

This kit is easily one of my faves. I know I probably say that often, but thinking about using all these graphic stamps and stencils on my other projects so easily, makes my little crafty heart sing. πŸ™‚

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions.

Here’s the TE scoop:

Halloween Release from Taylored Expressions!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today for Halloween!! πŸ‘»πŸ‚ This is always a fun release and makes me long for crunchy leaves and layers of clothes… because our Fall is often really cold in the morning and then by noon you are sweating bullets. Ha! But I digress… on to the new Halloween Release!

First up, I have this spooky little glittertastic number! For this, I used the new Jack-O-Lantern Stencil with the Glitter Grab and TE Glitter. I was quite sparkly when I finished.

This sentiment is from the previously released Handlettered Halloween. I stamped it on Eggplant and clear embossed for some interest. I die cut the Frame in Frame 2 die with the TE Glitter Cardstock. I love how that made quick work to create a sparkly frame!

Next up, these fun little treat Halloween Critter Clips and with glassine treat bags! And then there are these stickers too! Gah, always enjoy the stickers! ❀

I used the TE Halloween Felt Bundle felts and adhered them on some Oreo Cardstock for heft. This extra step also made it easy to attach them to the clip. I love the spider best maybe? Don’t tell the other spooky cuties though. πŸ˜‰

He’s too funny! Naturally, I had to add some google eyes to these guys too. πŸ™‚

These are going to be so fun to give to coworkers this Halloween. Though, I might eat the candy and replace it closer to Halloween…? shhhhh…

And lastly, I thought it would be fun to make this shaker card with the new Sugar Rush lil lollipops.

This was a fun one to make. I decided to die cut the lollipops out and then re-insert them into their negative cardstock. This just made it easier to use the stencils on them to create the designs. It allowed me to know a little better to center the lollipop. And yes, do not adjust your screen–I did make a lavender lollipop. πŸ™‚ I masked off the sticks to create stripes.

I thought this would be extra fun as a spiral and a shaker card. These could easily be made into Halloween colors as well. All the Sugar Rush treats would be super fun for tags–especially for treats!

The Simple Strip sentiment is from the SS Thanks set. I stamped that on Toffee and white heat embossed it. Actually, I did this way back. I am a big fan of stamping a lot of Simple Strips at once and then storing them in the Simple Strips Storage ContainersΒ  until I need. Nothing makes my cardmaking day like having an embossed sentiment all ready to go! πŸ™‚

Here’s the scoop from TE:

Merry Blooms Kit from Taylored Expressions–Merry Merry!

Today, there is a NEW Kit available over atΒ  Taylored Expressions and it is VERY Merry! And very Bloomy. Is that a word? It is now. πŸ˜„! This kit is the perfect scenario if you just want to create a good stack of cards and get ahead for your holiday card mailings. It’s all there for you, you just need ink! πŸ™‚

I decided to try out a couple different things with my cards here today.

First up, let’s talk about this card, because I think it might very well be my favorite! πŸ™‚ It is so different from anything I have made and honestly, I’m not entirely sure how it happened. ha!

For these flowers, I used the following ink colors, blended on with TE Blending Brushes: Sea Salt, Salt Water Taffy, Confetti Cake, Potato Chip and Mushroom. I started first with the Sea Salt adding that down to create kind of a base and a good white shadow, if you will. On top of that I went very lightly with the other colors. I have seen blue poinsettias, but I am not entirely sure about them, so I gave these a white with a tinge of blue hue.

I used the stamps in the Merry Blooms Clear Stamp set to add all the details to the individual pieces. For the leaves, I inked the background stamp with a bunch of different greens and even some yellow.

The sentiment is from the Clearly Crafty Joyful Season stamp set and then I used the coordinating dies (which need to be purchased separately from the kit) to die cut it out before adhering with a couple layers of cardstock underneath.

I added this vellum frame using the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets and the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. I am digging how this turned out. It is not only full of holiday cheer, but it also says winter to me–cozy winter! The good kind of winter. πŸ™‚

I finish everything off with some stitching and Clear Drip Drops.

Next up, I made a few tags using the Pierced Tag Stacklets and added one to the TE Clear Treat Boxes. For these I went to more of a traditional holiday red, using lots of different TE Reds and pinks. I even used Mulled Wine, which I admittedly do not use too often, so that’s always fun for me!

I white heat embossed these little sentiments on some strips of Sweet Basil cardstock. Looking forward to using these tags at the holidays for sure!

On these tags and both of my cards, I also used the Spattered Background and white heat embossed that. I like how it gives it a snowy wintery look. I could use this background on most every card, I think. ❀

Lastly, I have this card, using more of a Spearmint looking set of leaves. I also used Mint Julep. This green combo is delightful.

I added some Silver Glitter to the center of these Poinsettias. Again, I also used the Spatter Background with some Mushroom ink to add little extra bit of goodness. I used the Frame in Frame die to create this panel. I added a nest of silver thread behind the sentiment to tie into the silver glitter. So festive!

Of course, I love these envelope colors in this kit and the stickers. Always the stickers. But I’m going to need some more Dijon envelopes. How do I not have these already?

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions. Here’s the TE scoop:

Here’s everything included the Merry Blooms Kit – which is available for $69:

  • Merry Blooms Stamp, Stencil, & Clear Combo set
  • Perfect Poinsettia die collection
  • Clearly Crafty Joyful Season stamp set
  • Bits & Pieces – Red Pearl & Gold Drip Drop Mix
  • 6 A2 Envelopes: Sugar Cube, Toffee, Cherry Pop, Mulled Wine, Djion, and Cilantro
  • Packaged in a zippered pouch with a custom kit label

Limited quantity available. Most items not available to purchase individually.

You will be able to purchase additional envelope packs, envelope seals, the new Bits & Pieces – Red Pearl Drip Drops, and the Joyful Season die collection separately.

Taylored Expressions: Very Cherry Kit!

Today, there is a NEW Kit available over atΒ  Taylored Expressions. This one is moving into my top faves very quickly because it is not only sweet and delightful, but it is so easy to use and create lots of fun cards. And it seems my recent mission is to create a stack of cards all at once and have them ready to use, so this Very Cherry Kit is really helping me on that mission. πŸ’πŸ’

First up, let’s talk Rainier Cherries. I LOVE to eat these little summer gems and have yet to have a single one yet this year. How is that possible? Well, anyway, I decided I would create them on a card instead.

I wasn’t entirely sure how to do this, so I just went for it using Potato Chip, PinkΒ Champagne, and Guava on the cherries. I love how they turned out in the end. At first I was thinking the lines of ink were bugging me, but then I embraced it and now I want to recreate this effect. ha!

I wish I had stamped a few more of these at the same time. But I did create a few backgrounds, so I can fill them in easy enough someday soon! I used the overlapping sweet little heart stencil and blended on some Gumball ink. It was a risk because I wasn’t entirely sure I would like the blue hearts. Thank goodness I loved the result! Phew! πŸ™‚ I die cut that panel with the Frame in Frame 2 die (shocker, I know!). I die cut the Open Scalloped CircleΒ in Blueberry and then stamped the sentiment on Vellum to put that in the center. This card took a little more time than the following two, but I thought it was well worth it and plan to do it again…now that I’ve done the harder work to figure it all out. πŸ˜‰

Next up, I have these sweet little Thank You cards. I love the simplicity of these cherries and how you don’t need to add too much to make them shine.

I die cut the Petite Scallop Square Stacklets to create that panel before adding the Open Scalloped Circle die from the kit. I also added several scoring details to all these pieces to give a little texture on each piece of background.

I think these could be simplified even further if you wanted or I think even making them verbatim wasn’t that intensive. I have a pile of cherries stamped and ready to go on my desk, so I might just go ahead and make a few more of this design. πŸ™‚

To polish it all off, I added some stitching and Clear Drip Drops. Oh and the stickers!!! Ahhhhhh I always adore the stickers. I have quite a stash of them now, because I rarely send a card out without them. So now, I need to grab a few more of these sweet cherry stickers too! Especially for all my summer cards! πŸ™‚

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions. Here’s the TE πŸ’ scoop:

Here’s everything included the Very Cherry Kit– which is available for $65:

  • Very Cherry Cling & Clear Combo set
  • Very Cherry stencil

It’s called the Summer Vibes Background and it is a summertastic red rubber background that is TOO FUN to stamp! πŸ™‚ You can find the details HERE.

New Interactive fun from Taylored Expressions!

There is a new release over atΒ  Taylored Expressions today and it is an exciting one–Theater Fold Cards! AND lots of new goodies that work well with this concept or for any card, as you’ll hopefully see below too! πŸ™‚

This fantastic Hello is from the Oh My Word-Hello set and it has quickly and efficiently worked it’s way into my most used pile. LOVE. IT. I stamped Hello with a few different color ink pads to achieve that ombre look.

TE is creating and packaging the little side Theater Fold panels for you to purchase. Yes, you can absolutely cut, trim and score these on your own, no problem. But I’m telling you, order them. πŸ˜‚! You will be glad you did. They are making them in Sugar Cube and Toffee and they will save you time because the accuracy is already done for you–sold! And I don’t know about you, but if I can just grab and create, I will make more of these vs. having to cut and score and measure. It’s by no means hard, at all, I’m just keeping it real. πŸ™‚

You then use the Theater Fold Die to create both the frame and the two little strips that the panels slide through to open up (They are on the underside, so you cannot see them in the photos). The strips have the score lines impressed so there is no guess work there. Easy peasy! Simple adhere those two strips and slide these pre-cut, pre-scored Theater Fold panels through and voila!

I created this lovely floral frame with the Best Buds Stamp and Stencil set, which I have also been using a lot lately (see my Mother’s Day cards in my feed HERE). It’s so quick and easy to get a background. I colored in the leaves with different green Copic Markers on this card. πŸ™‚

This sweet little image inside is from the new Bitty Borders stamp set and I also used the new coordinating Bitty Borders die. This new Bitty Borders set is chock full of cuteness–you’ve been warned! πŸ™‚

I am digging this Peaches n Cream and Sprinkles combo a lot lately. πŸ™‚

For the inside, I used the Here Comes the Sun stencil with both Lemon Meringue and Pineapple inks blended in. At first I only had the back panel and and then once I assembled it, I thought hmmmm that needs to go up the sides. So I sprayed my stencil with Pixie Spray and laid it right over I stenciled before and added the rays on the side. When I was finished, I was so glad I did! What a fun effect that makes inside with this cool Theater Fold.

I added a Lavender Glaze little heart from the Hearts die and done. When interactive cards take too many steps or layers or time, I lose interest pretty fast. I love to make them, but rarely go back to make another. THIS ONE, however, is 1-2-3 easy, especially if you have the Theater Panels already cut and scored from TE. Bing Bang Pow done! LOVED that. πŸ™‚

Next up, I used the Oh My Word-Birthday stamp and the sweet candles from the Bitty Borders set to create this Birthday card. I am wishing I had made a stack of these so I could actually get my birthday cards out on time! πŸ™‚

Again, I hopped on the Peaches n Cream & Sprinkles bandwagon I seem to be aboard and colored the candles with Copic Markers. I used the Mini Slim- On the Dot stencil to create a little background interest.Β  Again, I used Sprinkles at the bottom of the panel and faded up to Confetti Cake…then Salt Water Taffy, for the topmost color.

I made the panel using the Petite Scallop Square Stacklets and the more recently released,Β  Diagonal Stitched Squares. These two sets of stacklets, along with the Rectangle versions of each are used often in my cardmaking, in case you haven’t noticed. πŸ™‚ They are always a good addition. I stamped the Happy Birthday twice. I stamped it once directly on the panel for the Happy and then again with a dark to light ombre on some Sugar Cube before die cutting it out. I love the idea of making these and mailing Birthday cards on time– ha! πŸ™‚

Next up, I HAD TO use this cutie little rainbow stamp from the Bitty Borders set. I kept things pretty simple. In doing that, I know I can go back and make more without feeling overwhelmed with aΒ  lot of work or steps. Always a win in my book.

For the background, I die cut the second size of the Frame in Frame 2 die. Then, I used the Set the Scene- Clouds with Sprinkles ink gently. Once I finished that, I added a few ink splatters. I colored the cutie rainbows with Copic Markers and used foam tape to adhere them, after stamping this sweet sentiment from the Oh My Word- Thank You set.Β I will use that one often! πŸ™‚

I added some stitched and adhered both the little rainbows and the whole panel with foam adhesive. Done! These new Bitty Borders would make quick work of making a card set for gifting. πŸ™‚

Taylored Expressions: Teacher and Grad Release!

One of the cards I make the most is Teacher cards and so for me, it’s a fun day atΒ  Taylored Expressions –there are lots of new goodies to celebrate all the Teachers and Grads in our lives! πŸ™‚

First up today, I am using the new Full Circle-School. I stamped it, heat embossed it and then I die cut it with one of my most used stacklets for such occasions: Apple Stacklets.

I decided this would be fun on a Mini Slim card and so I used both the Mini Slim Stitched Stacklets and the Mini Slim Petite Scallop Stacklets. I also stamped the Full Circle-School in tone-on-tone with Toffee ink on Toffee cardstock. I seem to use Toffee often on Teacher cards? I think that might be because I like it with the Red Pepper apple. πŸ™‚

I added a bit of twine to the stem after I blended on some green inks. I white heat embossed the sentiment on vellum and stitched that on the panel. Before I adhered everything to the card base, I decided to blend on some Sugar Cube ink to the Oreo top fold Mini Slim card. To finish it off, I used the new Cosmic Bits!

Next up, I thought I’d veer from a typical Teacher card color palette. I love how this turned out! I used the new I Pick You stamp and stencil.

I used Confetti Cake with the stencil and stamped the apples with Granny Smith, Cupcake and Toffee. I love these stamps that have the coordinating little dies for cutting out the little apples (or pumpkins, snowmen, etc. in the past). Pretty sure I definitely need to order another little apple die.

I thought this was a fun and a slightly different way to put on the sentiment. Of course, in true Jill style, I used the same sentiment on both cards today! πŸ˜‚ I don’t know how I do that, but I do it all the time. However, I promise there are lots of great sentiments in this set besides the one I used, twice! haaaa!

Oh and I stamped the Inside Scoop- Teacher on the inside and completely forgot to take a photo of that. Another thing I do all the time! πŸ™‚ Ack!

And BONUS TIME!! There is a NEW Big Grumpy Grad download to make some fun celebratory cards for Graduation and really, for anytime. There are a few sentiments that work for everyday congrats too, which I love!

I was laughing so heard when I read this one! πŸ™‚

I colored Big Grumpy-Bear with Copic Markers and then masked off this background area before using the Confetti Toss stencil and Stickles-Nebula paste. I love that Nebula paste because it has these cute little stars in it too! πŸ™‚

Next up, I thought it would be fun to use this sentiment. Also usuable for so many occasions. 🀣 Congrats you took out the trash! Here’s a card! I kid, but you know what I’m saying. I love this little bit of snark for everyday or for those Grads with the same silly sense of humor too. πŸ™‚

I made this background with the Masking Stencils-Stars (I used it and shifted it around a bit to use it again) and the Diagonal Stitched Square Stacklets. So fun! πŸ™‚

This sentiment is a trip. And if you haven’t used these Free Big Grumpy sentiments before, it is very easy to do. Check out the information for printing and stamping them over on the TE Blog and website.

I colored Big Grumpy on both with Copic Markers.Β  These two are some of my all time faves of my TE stash.
