Concord & 9th Guest: Out of This World & Magical Day! + GIVEAWAY

Happy Friday once again! This week was a very long month and so I am happy to be here to share some fun! It’s my last week of sharingΒ Concord & 9th Dream Big Release as a Guest Designer for February and their Feature Friday series, but I have so enjoyed these weeks together. Also, if you haven’t previously, be sure to check out Emily and Meghann’s projects on the Concord & 9th Blog HERE too.

**See details at the of this post about a $25 Concord & 9th Gift Card giveaway!!!**

First up, this card is made with the Out of this World Bundle. I also added some of the Concord & 9th Rainbow Glitter Paper Pack–hellllllllo sparkle! I super adore the font used for these sentiments too–perfect! I can’t wait to give our son this card. πŸ™‚

I used lots of the Concord & 9th Assorted Color Cardstock Pack and then a handful of the Concord & 9th Mini Ink Cubes for this background. I love the how this card turned out using the small Turnabout in the background–these mini turnabouts are my new fave for sure!

Next up, I used the Magical Day Bundle to create this dreamy little number. I just had to use the little tiny rainbows, so I created a background with those.

All these dies are included in the Magical Day Dies and all the little bits come together to add all these fun details! The banner is also created with a die in the set and comes together 1-2-3!

Eeeep! Too fun!

Lastly, like the little rainbow background, I had to use the little rainbow die in Magical Day Dies to create some glittertastic rainbows using the Concord & 9th Rainbow Glitter Paper Pack.

And the little clouds? Gah! πŸ™‚

You can find the whole release of new Concord & 9th products HERE. And if you’re a bundle person, get it all HERE. Here are the specific links for ease. I’ve included last two weeks supplies too:

Concord & 9th Guest: Rainbows and Visions!

Happy Friday! I’m happy to be back sharing more of Concord & 9th Dream Big Release as a Guest Designer for February and their Feature Friday series! Be sure to check out Emily and Meghann’s projects on the Concord & 9th Blog HERE too. Did you see their projects last week? GO SEE!!! So fun! πŸ™‚

My cards today feature the new Make Some Noise Bundle and the Rainbow Card Front Die.Β

I first used just the Make Some Noise Stamp Set to create this card–Using basically every Concord & 9th Mini Ink Cube! Ha!! But seriously, I about did. πŸ˜‚ If you look at the stamps, you can see how easy this is. Because the letters are so spread out, you can ink up different letters fairly easily. I was thinking I’d just use a few, but then went all out. πŸ™‚

This next card uses the Rainbow Card Front Die which creates multiples so easily if you choose to use different colored rays for the rainbow–because you get five!

I love the Concord & 9th Assorted Color Cardstock Pack for the awesome colors–they seem to all work together too. ❀ that! The sentiments are all from the Delicate Blossoms stamp set and work swimmingly for basically any card type, in my mind.

So fun–I just changed the direction, order, and shape of the rainbow for all the different cards. Do you have a fave? I like the Just Saying Hello card maybe best…?

Love these and can’t wait to mail them all out! πŸ™‚

Next up, I had some silly fun–I had to get this out of my head because “this guy’s got some sweet moves”! Does anyone watch It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia? I remember Dee saying this in an episode and now its a big joke between my husband and me every time we see one of these blow–up dancing guys! Anywho–he’s made with the Make Some Noise Dies.

It’s a pretty silly card, but I just had to make it. I couldn’t get that guy out of my head when I saw these dies. Plus, it’s fun to stretch those supplies right? πŸ™‚

The sentiment I found to be perfectly fun for this card too. It’s again from the Make Some Noise Stamp Set. I’m hoping I’m not the only one that knows what this blow up guys are! ha!

Lastly, as I was die cutting things with the Make Some Noise Dies, I saw snails!! So I created this lovey card too. ❀

I thought this would be fun to send to some friends. Snails! With funky hair! πŸ˜„

And always the googley eyes!

Hope you all enjoyed my little trip off the rails using the products this week! 😊

Concord & 9th Guest: Dream Big!

Happy Friday! Today is my first day of sharing Concord & 9th Dream Big Release as a Guest Designer for February and their Feature Friday series! Be sure to check out Emily and Meghann’s projects on the Concord & 9th Blog HERE too. How fun to be over there with these two fabulous creators! πŸ™‚

Let’s get this party started!

All my cards today feature the new Delicate Blossoms Bundle. Oh goodness–buckle up for the fun release peeps! The flowers are from the Delicate Blossoms Dies and the sentiment is from Delicate Blossoms stamp set.

I thought this would be fun to create a rainbow of flowers! I die cut them all out and added them a embossed panel before stitching them all on. I used the “Thank You So Much” sentiment. Though I stamped many because that little set (Delicate Blossoms stamp set) packs a punch with the perfect group of sentiments. (And I love the simple font!).

Oh goodness too fun! (These cardstock colors are: Honeysuckle, Sorbet, Buttercup, Sprout, Aqua Sky and Peacock.)

I then really wanted to use the Congrats sentiment die from the Delicate Blossoms Dies, so I did so with the simple inlay technique. It works swimmingly to get the character spacing perfect!

I added these fun new Buttercup Enamel Dots from the Everyday Enamel Dots Bundle. They are perfection for these sweet little flowers.

I added some embossed lines and some stitching and voila! Done! I love how simple the design–these products make some sweet sweet cards. πŸ™‚ (These cardstock colors are: Sorbet, Sprout, Aqua Sky and Peacock.Β

You’ll also have to check out the larger die in the Delicate Blossoms Dies. I have that all cut and pieced on my desk, but I can’t decide how to use it yet. πŸ™‚ We will see what shakes out someday here soon!

You can find the whole lot of new Concord & 9th products HERE. And if you’re a bundle person, get it all HERE. Here are the specific links for ease:

I hope you have been inspired to have some fun with these new products! Please be sure to check out the post on Concord & 9th’s Blog today to see both Emily and Meghann’s projects too!

Fall Bear Ware!

Today, I’m here to share a fun couple of cards using some Ellen Hutson cuteness! They are not new, by any means, but always fun!

First up, I used Ellen Hutson’s Bear Ware 2 (and coordinating dies HERE) and of course, the original, All Inside with dies HERE! I also used Bear Ware 4 and Bare Ware 4Β dies HERE–I don’t know that I have before? How is that possible?

This little guy is always fun and makes up these sweet little cards to pop in the mail! ❀ Pies on a head? Why not? He’s fit to be pied. πŸ™‚

The backgrounds are from the set called Wonky Backdrops. This set is always a winner! πŸ™‚Β . The sweet little embellishments: Crystal Clear Droplets.

I hadn’t used this little All Inside guy lately, and well, I missed him! Plus, he clearly loves Fall too! πŸ™‚

Next up is the cute Halloween one! I couldn’t decide which little accouterments to use from Bear Ware 2, so I used most of them. πŸ™‚

Who doens’t love a purple little kitty cat? πŸ™‚Β  A Beary Happy Halloween!

I colored all these with a very loose watercolor on Bristol paper using the Karin Markers! The Karin Markers are so fab because they stay nice and boldly/brightly colored. πŸ™‚

Quick recap of the goodies I used–all with links if you want to find for yourself:

Thanks for stopping by!

Miss You!

Happy Weekend! Popping in super duper quick to share this fun card I made using the images from the Lawn Fawn/Ellen Hutson S’more the Merrier set that my friend Chari (Thank you, Chari! ❀ ) sent me to color for The Daily Marker 30 Day! We had a small gang of some coloring friends and we all stamped and swapped images to color throughout the month of July. I will have to post all the cards that came of the month on my blog sometime soon. It was so fun and a great way to stretch myself! πŸ™‚

Anyway…on with the card….

I blended on several different Distress Inks over the Taylored Expressions Circle Masking Stencil (HERE) and then added the images I fussy cut and colored with Copic Markers. I think it’s safe to say I never made a background like this and it was fun to make. Room to improve, but when isn’t there? πŸ™‚

Gah!! How cute are these little critters!? I used a much older sentiment set from Lawn Fawn for the speech bubble. You can find this cutie Lawn Fawn/Ellen Hutson S’more the Merrier set over at Ellen Hutson HERE. πŸ™‚

Thank you to my friends Alyssa, Caren, Chari, Jen, Latisha and Lori for a FUN month of virtual crafting—coloring together from afar! ❀

Take care– Jill πŸ™‚

Hamsters. In Leotards. :)

Hola! Have you all been partaking in The Daily Marker 30 Day this month? I am on Day 11 now and I colored some of these yesterday for Day 10. So fun!!

I ordered this Waffle Flower set Gym Rat and Waffle Flower dies for Gym Rat during  Ellen Hutson’s sale last weekend and here I am using it already! whoooot! This set is retiring, so there’s no time to waste if you love it like I do! Just sayin’. πŸ™‚

The star on this is the Taylored Expressions Masking Stencil: Stars and that one is HERE.

I thought this turned out so fun and sooooo 80’s! ❀

I put the hamsters I colored today on this next card:

This stencil background is the Mesh stencil from Simon Says Stamp HERE.

I colored all the hamsters with Copic Markers and I just ❀ them! I have been wanting this set for awhile because these little guys truly CRACK ME UP! Their sweatbands and all! Sooooo funny to me!

I hope you have gotten a kick out of these two cards like I did making them! You can find these stamps and dies at Ellen Hutson with the following links:

Ellen Hutson FUN and SALE!

Happy Friday! Are you all ready to celebrate the 4th? I have some work to do this morning and then onward. Albeit much different from any year prior, it’s still a weekend! πŸ™‚

I wanted to share that there a great SALEΒ over at Ellen Hutson this weekend:

Perfect timing because I have this plethora of cards to share with you today. They are all in the theme of making a card set, and these two stamps sets from EH are my go to for this. There is something very satisfying about just stamping your little heart out for a couple hours and creating a stack of cards, is there?

The images are from Ellen Hutson’s Everyday Doodles by Julie Ebersole and I adore this set!! πŸ™‚ The little sentiments that accompany them are from the set Everyday Punnies by Julie Ebersole. And with a sale, you can get both! πŸ™‚ shhhhh!

I’m going to share a bunch of pics! Feel free to scroll fast if you haven’t seen enough. πŸ™‚

This coffee cup is everything! πŸ™‚

And the camera? ❀ oh snap! ❀ it!!!

I thought I would make a sweet apple card before making the funny ones! πŸ™‚

This sentiment is one of my faves in the set because it is OH SO TRUE! πŸ™‚

And of course, this sentiment IS my fave in the Everyday Punnies set. It makes me laugh every time I read it! πŸ™‚

Mint Chocolate Chip anyone?

And celery coffee cups? Yes please! πŸ™‚

I hope you have enjoyed these cards using the Ellen Hutson’s Everyday Doodles by Julie Ebersole and Everyday Punnies by Julie Ebersole as much as I enjoyed making them all and mailing them! πŸ™‚ That’s the thing: I already mailed most of them! Who am I? πŸ™‚

** Be sure to hit up the SALE over at Ellen Hutson now before your wishlist is snagged by someone else! 20% off is fun stuff! Be sure to use the code when you check out–you can hop over by clicking HERE >> Ellen Hutson.Β  πŸ™‚ I may have ordered already myself. Allegedly. πŸ™‚ shhhhh!

Some EH Fun!

Happy Friday! I thought I’d just share a few cards I made recently, all in one post. I stamped this little apple from Ellen Hutson’s Everyday Doodles by Julie Ebersole (and sentiment from Everyday Punnies) and colored it in many moons ago with some Zig Clean Color watercolor markers. I usually use these markers on Bristol Paper.

This sentiment completely cracks me up!

Very simple to create. Between the font and the simplicity, I ❀ it! πŸ™‚

Next up, I used Ellen Hutson’s Conductor of Light set that I recently acquired from a friend. It was like Christmas in March! πŸ™‚

Again, super simple, but effective. I wanted a couple of cards to mail over to school to say Thank You and to keep on keepin’ on! πŸ™‚

And then I made one in blue, because that is my son’s school’s color!Β  Turned out fun too!

I thinkΒ  this sentiment is perfectly fitting for these times.

So there you have it…some VERY quick and simple cards to get you going and pop some cards in the mail this coming week. (These cards are all 4 bar.) I find that the simple cards are often delightful and make it doable to get cards in the mail. ❀ I think I’ve about seven dozen during this odd, odd time. Hoping it brings some smiles.

Here’s all the Ellen Hutson products and links again:

New Release from Ellen Hutson!

Happy Sunday! I’m here today to share a fun new release from Ellen Hutson!Β  I am so excited to be a part of sharing a couple of these great new sets! πŸ™‚

For this first card, I used the super fun new set called Up in the Air by Brandi Kincaid (and the coordinating dies HERE).

I colored everything with Copic Markers. I also masked off the clouds and blended on the sky colors. I think this set is so fun and unique!! I have another card I hope to finish tonight and share soon!Β  πŸ™‚

Next up, I used the sweet new Be The Change by Brandi Kincaid and the coordinating dies HERE.

I thought these fun and whimsy detailed butterflies would look fantastic in black and white, but I wanted to add a lot of color. So I stamped all the butterflies and masked them off before blending on lots of Distress Inks. My masks were not cut perfect, but I like that “casual” look.
The B & W butterflies really POP in the bright colors!
Such unique sentiments too!
I added a a bit of paint splatter and stitching to each card too. πŸ™‚
For the next two cards, I accompanied the butterflies with sentiments from the Crafty Ladies Say set.
You Got This!
Same with this next card…
High Five!
I had a lot of fun making this card set and I love how bright all the cards turned out!

So fun!Β Here are all the products that are available now and links again:
