*Right at Home with MISTI!*

Good Morning, All! You should have arrived to my blog here via Ceal Pritchett‘s blog! 🙂

Today, we are having a fun blog hop between the My Sweet Petunia and the Right at Home design teams! And oh, how FUN is THAT?! DE-lightful. 🙂

Buckle up, there are prizes!!

There will be a drawing for two winners from all the comments on the hop, so please leave a comment on every blog to be eligible to win one of two prizes: Winner’s choice of an original or mini MISTI, and a prize package from Right at Home (Sunflower stamp set, Harvest Blessings stamp set (new release) and two Distress Oxide Inks – in Cracked Pistachio and Peeled Paint).

Deadline for comments is September 8th at noon Central, and winners will be posted on the My Sweet Petunia and Right at Home blogs on Tuesday September 12th.

I’m excited to be sharing two cards today that I made with Right at Home stamps and the Most Incredible Stamping Tool from My Sweet Petunia!

My cards were all made with Right at Home’s super easy to use Anemone set! It’s an awesome set that can be used in quite a variety of ways.

For this card, I used an ombre ink pad. This solid fade is quite lovely with these flowers! I think I would have a hot mess if I had to stamp this repeatedly with an acrylic block vs. MISTI. I have never been good at lining things up. (If I made this one again, I might add a few white pen details. 🙂 #hindsight  What do you think?)

This sentiment is from RAH’s set, Make Something Beautiful.

Apparently, I was on a pink kick when I made these. ❤ ! But they look lovely in pink, right? I also learned how many pink ink pads I have. #completelynecessary  Haaaaa!
The MISTI makes using this RAH layering set flawless to line up or offset consistently. This is a must for me–I often need to fix spots I missed or need better ink coverage. 🙂
For the first card above, I also used Right at Home’s Color in Sentiments and Grid Background Stamp. Love this wonky grid!
Such fun! I often don’t know what I did before MISTI?! Too funny! I do however use my MISTI backwards. Does anyone else do this? I know it’s “backwards” because whenever I see anyone else use it, they do it the reverse way. Also, as you can see in my photos above, my numbers are upside down. Another indication I use it backwards. But it works awesome any which way, so there you go! 🙂 LOL!
Here’s the list of all the fun stops today! Be sure to hop along and leave comments for your chances at the prizes spelled out above! 🙂

I hope you have a chance to hop through all these sure to be amazing stops!  Also, be sure to check out the latest Right at Home release and if you don’t have a MISTI, add it to the top of your Holiday Wish List. It is a complete game changer in the stamping world. 🙂

Head on over to Maria Sabina‘s blog stop next! 🙂

Wishing you all a wonderful week!

Jill 🙂
