Easy Strips + Exclusives Release at Taylored Expressions Today!

Taylored Expressions has a New Release today–Some goodies that were released at Stamp Joy in October are being released and some exclusives that were previously unavailable to purchase. These are some of my fave releases!

EASY STRIPS! This might be one of my favorite TE products of all time. Maybe. πŸ™‚ These dies cut strips of paper in perfect 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2 inch strips. Believe you me, I know… we can cut these ourselves on our paper trimmer. BUT these have that rounded perfection and uniformity that makes projects shine. Gah, I love them!

First up, this is a pretty straightforward design in classic fashion and the results are always delightful! This is a combo of rainbow Easy Strips in 1/4″, alternating with 1/8″ Easy Strips in Sugar Cube.

The frame is cut with the Frame in Frame 2. It’s a great and quick way to shape a card!

Next up, I thought it would be fun to arrange all the different strips sizes in a random fashion with a different pattern here. The possibilities are literally endless!

The sentiment is die cut with the letters in Cap It Off Alpha and the Sunshine is from Building Blocks- Be Bright. I wanted to keep the sentiment simple and small to let the strips steal the show!Β

I have die cut a boatload of these strips and plan to use them often. I find I use things more if they are ready to go. Strippin’ in the craft room! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Next up, the Balloon Party stencil layering set is available! This is a fun layering set that I loved using last year when it was a gift with purchase.

For these cards, I made one panel and then cut it in half to gain TWO cards! LOVE that! I chose a color palette that wasn’t rainbow (that is hard to resist with this stencil!) and I like the way it turned out.

So easy to make two cards! Boom!

I used the Simple Strips-Birthday to add these quick sentiments and done!

I stamped the On the Block-Happy using different greens to create an ombre look–turned out fun!

Here’s a quick look at the cards I made last September using the Balloon Party Layering set:

Ok…last share today is the now widely released Flourishing Frame die. I decided this was perfect for a wedding card using the Framed Script Mr. & Mrs.

This is a very different color combo for me (Blue Corn, Dijon and Cupcake), but it is growing on me. πŸ™‚ Oh, I also used the Fine Line Leaf stamp that I have been itching to use. I need to use that more though yet. πŸ™‚

Here’s another card I made last year with this Flourishing Frame:

Here’s the scoop from TE:

New Interactive fun from Taylored Expressions!

There is a new release over atΒ  Taylored Expressions today and it is an exciting one–Theater Fold Cards! AND lots of new goodies that work well with this concept or for any card, as you’ll hopefully see below too! πŸ™‚

This fantastic Hello is from the Oh My Word-Hello set and it has quickly and efficiently worked it’s way into my most used pile. LOVE. IT. I stamped Hello with a few different color ink pads to achieve that ombre look.

TE is creating and packaging the little side Theater Fold panels for you to purchase. Yes, you can absolutely cut, trim and score these on your own, no problem. But I’m telling you, order them. πŸ˜‚! You will be glad you did. They are making them in Sugar Cube and Toffee and they will save you time because the accuracy is already done for you–sold! And I don’t know about you, but if I can just grab and create, I will make more of these vs. having to cut and score and measure. It’s by no means hard, at all, I’m just keeping it real. πŸ™‚

You then use the Theater Fold Die to create both the frame and the two little strips that the panels slide through to open up (They are on the underside, so you cannot see them in the photos). The strips have the score lines impressed so there is no guess work there. Easy peasy! Simple adhere those two strips and slide these pre-cut, pre-scored Theater Fold panels through and voila!

I created this lovely floral frame with the Best Buds Stamp and Stencil set, which I have also been using a lot lately (see my Mother’s Day cards in my feed HERE). It’s so quick and easy to get a background. I colored in the leaves with different green Copic Markers on this card. πŸ™‚

This sweet little image inside is from the new Bitty Borders stamp set and I also used the new coordinating Bitty Borders die. This new Bitty Borders set is chock full of cuteness–you’ve been warned! πŸ™‚

I am digging this Peaches n Cream and Sprinkles combo a lot lately. πŸ™‚

For the inside, I used the Here Comes the Sun stencil with both Lemon Meringue and Pineapple inks blended in. At first I only had the back panel and and then once I assembled it, I thought hmmmm that needs to go up the sides. So I sprayed my stencil with Pixie Spray and laid it right over I stenciled before and added the rays on the side. When I was finished, I was so glad I did! What a fun effect that makes inside with this cool Theater Fold.

I added a Lavender Glaze little heart from the Hearts die and done. When interactive cards take too many steps or layers or time, I lose interest pretty fast. I love to make them, but rarely go back to make another. THIS ONE, however, is 1-2-3 easy, especially if you have the Theater Panels already cut and scored from TE. Bing Bang Pow done! LOVED that. πŸ™‚

Next up, I used the Oh My Word-Birthday stamp and the sweet candles from the Bitty Borders set to create this Birthday card. I am wishing I had made a stack of these so I could actually get my birthday cards out on time! πŸ™‚

Again, I hopped on the Peaches n Cream & Sprinkles bandwagon I seem to be aboard and colored the candles with Copic Markers. I used the Mini Slim- On the Dot stencil to create a little background interest.Β  Again, I used Sprinkles at the bottom of the panel and faded up to Confetti Cake…then Salt Water Taffy, for the topmost color.

I made the panel using the Petite Scallop Square Stacklets and the more recently released,Β  Diagonal Stitched Squares. These two sets of stacklets, along with the Rectangle versions of each are used often in my cardmaking, in case you haven’t noticed. πŸ™‚ They are always a good addition. I stamped the Happy Birthday twice. I stamped it once directly on the panel for the Happy and then again with a dark to light ombre on some Sugar Cube before die cutting it out. I love the idea of making these and mailing Birthday cards on time– ha! πŸ™‚

Next up, I HAD TO use this cutie little rainbow stamp from the Bitty Borders set. I kept things pretty simple. In doing that, I know I can go back and make more without feeling overwhelmed with aΒ  lot of work or steps. Always a win in my book.

For the background, I die cut the second size of the Frame in Frame 2 die. Then, I used the Set the Scene- Clouds with Sprinkles ink gently. Once I finished that, I added a few ink splatters. I colored the cutie rainbows with Copic Markers and used foam tape to adhere them, after stamping this sweet sentiment from the Oh My Word- Thank You set.Β I will use that one often! πŸ™‚

I added some stitched and adhered both the little rainbows and the whole panel with foam adhesive. Done! These new Bitty Borders would make quick work of making a card set for gifting. πŸ™‚

All these products are available now over at Taylored Expressions. See my links below to make things easier. πŸ™‚

Hello, Hello!

Hello-Happy Thursday! Just popping in with a quick card I made to get my crafty mind working. πŸ™‚

I felt like using a pink and a minty/pool blue/green. I apparently had mint chocolate chip on my mind. πŸ™‚ So I stamped those colors and then overlaid with grays for the gradient. It wasn’t my very best stamping, but I ran with it. πŸ™‚ I think I’ll try to find a brighter color for each next time.

I stamped everything, scored the panel and added the stitching to finish it all off! Kept it simple. I never know if I should add more? But I think if I debate it too long, the answer is always no. Ha! πŸ™‚

This stamp set is from the Stamp Market and it is called Hello Hello. πŸ™‚ (I think it must be retired because I cannot find a link to share.)

Have a great day today! I’ll be back here tomorrow with a new card. TGIF!

Hello Hello Hello! :)

Hooray for Happy Friday! I’m popping in with another card using Paper Smooches NEW November goodies! πŸ™‚

For this card I used:Β  New Layered Hello Dies! I’m pretty sure by now you can feel my love for these dies! ❀️ One of my favorite cards to make is “Hello”–those no reason cards but just because. Β Perfection for those! πŸ™‚

I die cut the “background” hello from three different colors. Then layered up the white hello on top. I adhered all three down to a scored panel and added some quick stitching. I just love these clean cards! πŸ™‚

All the November release from Paper Smooches can be found HERE! Just love those Baby Birds! πŸ™‚

It just started “snowing” here today–and by snow, I mean the tiniest little flakes EVER! πŸ™‚ But Brrrrrr! Have a cozy weekend all!

Hello Again! :)

Happy Friday! I’m popping in with a card using Paper Smooches NEW November goodies! πŸ™‚

For this card I used: New Deco Edge Dies, New Layered Hello Dies, and the previously released Postage Stamp Dies.

I just love how this card turned out! Definitely one of my favorite kind of cards that includes a lot of white and some simple clean, designs that POP! These cards always take a little longer than you’d think to make, but in the end, ❀ them and really enjoy making them!

I added a few layers of the hello to give it some girth. πŸ™‚ I think I even doubled up on the Postage Stamp dies. ❀ These new Deco Edge dies are crazy versatile for edges, or underneath or just here as a background. They are well-loved already! πŸ™‚

All the November release from Paper Smooches can be found HERE! Such sweetness!

Have a GREAT weekend!
