Holiday Fun with Right at Home!

Good Day to you! Hope your weekend has been a great one so far! Today, I am sharing a handful of cards I made with the recently released Bells and Baubles and Fa La La from Right at Home! Gah!! I not only love the fun choices one has to build these ornaments and baubles, but I completely adore this font!  You can check out Right At Home’s most recent release HERE! There are some cutie sets there to color too! ❤
I just stamped and stamped and stamped my little heart out, using all the Catherine Pooler inks that Right at Home carries. You can find them all HERE.
My first card is full of Cheer!
I love this festive feel– It is fun for the holidays but non-traditional. Fiesta! 🙂
Here are the inks I used:
Next up, I used more details of the baubles for this one:
Again, not traditional colors, but I thought it was a fun combo and I liked the result. I also thought it would be fun to use a dark blue, Juniper Mist on all these vs. a black.
Here are the inks I used for this one:
Lastly, I made a card using just bits and pieces of this builder stamp set. I like to stretch sets outside what they might typically be used for, and these stamps could easily be used for a birthday, hello, or whatever kind of card. Think of the color combo possibilities! 😉
I just polished this off with a few little splatters for fun. 🙂

Here are the inks I used for this one:

There is also a coordinating die set for this Bells and Baubles set. You can find that one HERE. I was going to use the dies for these stamped images (below) I had in progress, but I forgot to wait to stamp the tops of the ornaments. They have their own die cuts. Hopefully I can finish these panels and make them into cards for the holiday season too!

I hope you have been busy creating lots of holiday fun too! I’m looking forward to having some more time later this month to create more with this awesome never-ending-possibilities-set!

Thank you to Nicole for having me along to create! Always a treat! ❤

Wishing you all a wonderful week!

December Release Countdown, Day 2 from Technique Tuesday!

Welcome to Day TWO of Technique Tuesday’s December Release Countdown! Today I’m sharing a festive little number with snowy-wintry-goodness vibes!

This is made with the soon to be released Joyous Juniper Stamp Set. If you enjoy the Greenhouse Society stamps, this one does not disappoint! (*Links will work when the new products are released tomorrow, December 1st)

For this, I white heat embossed the  Joyous Juniper Stamp Set on kraft cardstock and then added a plethora of splatter! Love how this evokes a winter filled day to me. The sentiment is beyond perfect for this card. Of course, I finished it off with some stitching and a white card base. 🙂

November Release Countdown, Day 2 from Technique Tuesday!

Welcome to Day TWO of Technique Tuesday’s November Release Countdown! Today I get to share this VERY cool die!

I am sharing a card I made withe the soon to be released Sweater Weather Crafting Die. I am looking forward to using this die on all the things this winter! 🙂 This great sentiment is from the new Hello Winter Stamp Set. (*Links will work when the new products are released tomorrow, November 1st)

I die cut this die four times on this card panel and then popped out one row to make them red vs. white. I adhered everything down well, and then attached it all on an aqua note card. A favorite color combo for Winter. ❤  This card is so cozy!

Be sure to check out the NEW products from Technique Tuesday HERE! (The new products shown above will be available via the link tomorrow, November 1st! 🙂

October Release Countdown, Day 2 from Technique Tuesday!

Welcome to Day TWO of Technique Tuesday’s October Release Countdown! Today’s is as fun as yesterday’s!

Today I used the VERY soon to be released Bow on the Border Die. This bow is so bold it really holds a card all on its own—fabulousness! It’s great for the holidays, but I think I like it more for anytime of the year! 🙂 The sentiment is from the new String of Lights Stamp Set. (*Links will work when the new products are released tomorrow, October 1st)

I die cut the bow on the border of a panel and inlaid the patterned paper, tying a gift tag on. I was intending to make a birthday card, but then this red and white striped card happened and then it became about the holidays. ❤

Thank You Notes

Happy Almost Christmas! Just popping in to share a couple *Thank You* notes. One I made back in the fall and forgot to share, and this holiday one I made last night. Because: Crafty therapy! 🙂

Eeeeep is this the cutest little sleigh full or what? 🙂 I used Avery Elle’s Sledding Critters and the coordinating die HERE. For the background I blended on Cracked Pistachio Oxide ink. ❤

I used Copic Markers to color these cuties and added Glossy Accents, Wink of Stella, and some Nuvo drops. So fun! I ❤ THIS stamp from Avery Elle, so naturally this is the winter counterpart 😉 . (Check out a card I made with the Birthday Bus stamp/die HERE!)

Next up, I made the Thank You card below using THIS unique stamp from Concord & 9th. They always have some clever goods over there! 🙂 Many Thanks Turnabout Stamp! Hooray!

<<
you can tell by the pumpkin in the pic, I made this back in the Fall, so it has more of an autumn feel.

<<
lso used Concord &  9th’s Many Thanks dies to create the focal point speech bubble. I have always been a HUGE fan of speech bubbles, and this one is large and FUN! 🙂

Ok, that is all from me today! I had a busy day of laundry, baking and family fun! More to do on all that tomorrow too!! 🙂

Have a Happy Christmas All!  Jill 🙂

PrintHappy World Card Making DAY! I mean, this is OUR holiday card makers!! Love. It.

You are going to want to hop to the MFT Challenge and Inspiration Blog after you finish here because it is a FULL day over there. Seriously. Every two hours, there is a new post! Sounds to me like *card making inspiration* heaven! I can’t wait to see what my teammates made and Ms. SRO has written. Susan wrote NINE posts for TODAY. NINE! I can’t write that many in a week, let alone for one day. 🙂 Seriously, an amazing group!

So, here is my card I made for this happy day:

hawkins_jill_merryandbright_WMI am naturally quite happy to use this new Snow Drifts Cover Up. I mean, wow. So many possibilities!! 🙂 I then die cut the vellum strip to lay over two of the wave sections so I could heat emboss a sentiment (Joyous Christmas Sentiments). And I also used the new Snowflake Flurry stamps. I do love snow flakes. They can be used for MONTHS. And they will. 😉 I stamped all the snowflakes on the pieces and blended the inks onto them.

New My Favorite Things release goodies! Oh this is a fun month at MFT my friends! :hawkins_jill_merryandbright_00_WM

Ok. Then I had to make two more cards for the occasion. 😉

hawkins_jill_holly jolly_wmI heat embossed this sentiment, so in person, it stands out a bit more. Kept everything else simple.hawkins_jill_holly jolly_00_wmHere is the third card I made:

hawkins_jill_bright_wmPretty straightforward 🙂 Die cut the die cut 🙂

hawkins_jill_bright_00_wmAll of these cards will very likely have a stamped Thank You sentiment on the inside. You’ll want to read more about that on the MFTC&I post HERE! 🙂
